I really can't choose between this, SF3 TS, and MotW.

I've definatly never played a game more than this one, but I've never had another online fighter (besides DOAU.. :shake:)

i havent played snk besides on cvs2 since fatal fury2 on TG16 But I think it will be fun to play KOF (Will Chang and Raiden be in the game>)

i would say my fave fighting games are CVS2, kof 97, and Rage of the Dragons, and why you ask? because they all have roll haha
and rage of the dragons is just sick with all the combos you can do. that would be crazy if it was ever XBL enabled.

it used to cvs2 but after playing 3s i cant even touch cvs2 again. the style of the game, from turtling to rcing just sucks.

im definently going to buy the kof pack for live. ive never played kof hardcore so its going to be great.. now if only the release date was earlier..

Well before that I used to play KOF 02 (and some MOTW) a lot but in actuality I sucked. 3S is probably my least favorite game and MVC2 is after that. 3S is too slow for me compared to CVS2 but that's just me because I have no clue how to play lol.

Snk started all for me so i have to support my roots With KoF 94 being my fav i want to import The remake of 94 that just came out it looks coo.
But i also have to say that Dream match and 02 were really good too 02 rocks with the combo activation So yeah i will be playing it when i get it, im broke right now :(

Im pretty sure you cna play online but your gonna need a japanese PS2 but i might be wrong i'll do some research cause i dont know much on Ps2's live games they suck :tdown:

Um when was this? I haven't been to CF in at least a month. Besides, CF took out CVS2 and put in CVS1. If you were talking about that tournament from a while ago, then the reason why is because those players were just too good. Any of them (including you) can probably easily OCV me. It's not that I don't want to play but it's a waste of money just to get your ass kicked. I'm all for competition and all but I know a losing battle when I see one. Thanks for the compliment but I know I'm just subpar in skill compared to these guys. If I keep coming back to get my ass kicked, I'll just look stupid. I feel like I'm wasting THEIR time by playing them. Besides, it's way more fun to watch a fight that's a lot more even in skill. Back when I was playing SVC (a year or two ago), I used to always dump in tokens and waste a HUGE amount of money. Now I just feel that I should stop wasting my money foolishly.

About the KOF 94 remake...I think it's called KOF Rebout 94-03 or something like that (not sure about the 03). I saw a copy of that in Chinatown but that's in NYC.

Speed is precisely why I DON'T like MVC2. It's too fast for me and it need a lot of precise and fast fingerwork (is that a word? :confused: ). Especially characters like Magneto, Sentinel, Storm and etc. I REALLY suck at MVC2 (like below noob scrub) but I know that this whole takes a lot of speed and that the best characters are all about that. 3S is too slow for me and CVS2 is JUST right for me. I dunno...maybe I'll have a change of heart later. To tell you the truth, I used to hate CVS2 because I was playing SVC all the time. SVC was new and I just liked the Buster Wolf lol (ZOOOOM! Bustaaa wulf!!). Eventually I realized the crappiness that is SVC and started playing CVS2 like crazy.

CVS 2 is definately my Fav. I love the SNK characters. I'm really looking forward to KOF 02/03. I am very disapointed by 3S online. It is just a Ryu/Ken sweep match. Any word if a CVS3 is in the making?

Id say gameplay wise SNK is a lil over rated for my personal tastes, but MVC2 and CVS2 are my favorite games followed by A2 and SS2-5/0. The only snk game Ive ever really like was the Samurai spirits series. I even liked SS3 thats how hardcore I am for that series. I wish more ppl played, sux playing against PC.

Ok gheri...just to say it bluntly, no there will not be a CVS3 ever. Why? Because there was a contract between Capcom and SNK. Each company was supopsed to make two games each. Capcom made CVS1 and CVS2. SNK made the card fighting one and SVC Chaos. The contract hasn't been renewed so that's why there's no CVS3. Think about it...it's been so long since CVS2 came out. Just the age itself gives you a clue. I got this from a post from gamefaqs but I forgot who wrote it. That's why I told you to go to Gamefaqs because you can find a thread (in the arcade section) that would have told you no.

cvs2 will always be my favorite fighting game. It has consumed more of my time than any other fighting game.

I use to think that Rc's were broken also, but then I got use to it and it also brought cvs2 up to a whole different level. People who use RC Honda's are sell outs....lol.

The only thing that's really broken is the stupid 2nd player cross-up glitch. Some close matches were won/lost because of this. Its just not fair that the 2nd player gets to have a mixup advantage over the 1st player.

If you are the 2nd player and knock someone down in the corner, you can end up in the other side. Example -

Shoto punch throw into corner, mk hurricane kick. If you're 2nd player you get the corner, if not you get right in front of them. From there you can verify combos into super and etc.

Simpler explanation -

Go into training mode and pick Joe as 1st player. Throw opponent into corner and jump forward normally right after. Notice that you land in front of your opponent, nothing special.

Now try it as 2nd player Joe. When you jump forward, you come up from the opposite side.

Opponents feet must be torwards the corner, not his head.

I don't see the big deal. Its just something you have to be conscious about in battle. If you aren't then you're dead.

KoF 97, CVS2, and KOF03(which I'm pretty sure will replace CVS2 as my 2nd favorite eventhough I haven't played it yet)... I'd place GGX2 as my 2nd favorite but I can't find it in any arcades here and trying to play it online sux to high hell.

MOTW is my third favorite with SF:3S coming in behind it.
3S is definitely not slow. Once you get grounded the match is pretty much done, which is why I'm not a strong fan of it.

Samurai Shodown 4 was the best SS in the series. I'd place it above MOTW, but again... not in an arcade here.

I love this game, I have it on dc. I hate the dpad, it eats my fingers. I'm pretty good with the dreamcast analog controller now because of the 48 inch tall dpad the dreamcast has. :<
