Some Hyper and ST ryu questions.

I'm trying to land shortx2 into super with ryu and I cant land it for my life. I can do it with ken but but ryu I can only do it out of a low foward. I think I canceld it right to. Does it even work?

Also HF ryu vs guile! I know ryu can win the match but how? I work so damn hard sometimes just to mess up and get raped in the corner or something. Any advice on this matchup?

This stupid game is too much work! I actually have to do stuff!

And if you have them in a corner, you can catch them with a Joudan Sokutou Geri (LK) before they hit the ground.

You can do it just like kens. Kida. The timing ismuch more strict. If this is kens window ------ Then ryu's is --. I can and have pulled it off in battle. But I much prefer doing Cr.Strong Cr.Forward xx super. Good luck. But it does work like kens.

it is very very difficult to do the Cr.shortx2-4 xx super like cr.forward xx super. You actually need to link it to get it. So you do all 4 shorts and as soon as you press the 4th short you QCF then as it hits QCF again and Jab+Short at the same time. When you press the Jab+Short it tricks the game to accelerate the super to link it off the short. but beacuse of the long start up of the FB super it is more dificult. You can use the same technique for Balrog. Cr.Jab x4 xx super. All you have to do is throw it out on the 4th jab.. If done right you will link it off the 4th jab..

These are LINKS not Cancles. You do not cancel the animation of the move to combo it. Most if not all Supers XX'd off of shorts is a link.

I think the trick is just to do the qcf qcf motion a little later after the shorts. If you do it too fast, I think it gets negative edged. Oh and always put the stick/pad like you're sticking it to one side. If you do qcf qcf, make your stick/pad go qcf and then go back qcb and do another qcf. To me, it comes out a lot more often. This is only from my experience with CVS2 so i dunno if it applies to Hyper Street Fighter. But it should be around the same shouldn't it?

Actually, you don't need to link them.Well, you don't link it it is still chaining. Ryu's timing is alot harder mainly because you get less of a window. Time the fastest he can link the c.lks. Thats how fast you need to get the super in it just press lp+lk.
