Before SF4, does anybody think like me when I say that would be great a sf game with all characters from sfz, sf1, sf2 and sf3 together? (ps.: sf1 characters redesigned?) [plus Mike Haggar, hehe, I love him] Am I the one in the world who would like to have a game like this? I'm asking because I didn't see any thread about some purpose like that. Please, waiting your answers.

Well the easily destroyed cannon story line will be gone.
Or they could make it into a VS. game. Yeah since I missed the original SF I would like to see redesigned ones. :wow:
I would go apeshit if udon did the art. I don't wan't to see the old sf alpha sprites they put in almost all the VS games. :lame: I want NEW ART !!!!!
That's why I like Snk vs Capcom chaos so much I guess.....

My dream is for a Street Fighter Alpha 4. It would re-write Street Fighter 1, Final Fight 1, the Street Fighter Alpha series and the Street Fighter II series in one coherent storyline. Each of the three ISMs would have a unique storyline to that character, often overlapping or involving other characters storyline.

ADON
V-ISM STORY
Adon is a student of the Muay Thai legend, Sagat. Throughout his training, Sagat often boasted to Adon how invincible he was and nobody could ever beat him. Adon trained hard to become as strong as Sagat but defeating his hero and teacher was still just a distant dream.
When the first Street Fighter tournament started, Adon was strong enough to be a sub-boss in the tournament. Due to his already blossoming over-confidence, he foolishly let his guard down against Ryu and was defeated. Although Adon was angry, he was looking forward to watching this young martial artist get soundly defeated by his master, Sagat. But first, he would make himself feel better about himself by taking on a spectator who dared insult him when he lost against Ryu.
After winning this fight, Adon goes over to watch the match between Ryu and Sagat. Surprisingly to him, the two fighters seemed to be evenly matched, although clearly Sagat was the strongest. When it looked like Ryu was just about defeated, Adon noticed a slight change in Ryu's chi but Sagat was too focused on the fight to notice. Just as Sagat jumped in to land the killing blow, Ryu suddenly launched into an unexpected Metsu-Shoryuken! Adon watched in disbelief as Ryu's fist tore through Sagat's chest causing an eruption of blood to splatter over the floor. Sagat was finished! Ryu had won!
Adon was overcome with rage that the so called "invincible" Muay Thai was defeated by a fighter so young and inexperienced. As far as Adon was concerned, Sagat had disgraced the Muay Thai fighting style with his loss. Adon walked away, never to return to the place he was tutored by Sagat and deciding to train himself in the Jaguar-style Muay Thai fighting stance.

A-ISM STORY
It has been a few months since the end of the first Street Fighter tournament. Adon stayed in Thailand to train by himself but he was getting frustrated by the lack of worthy opponents. He decided that he had to travel by himself and seek out street fighters across the globe in order to improve himself. Also, Sagat had been lying low from publicity and had closed his dojo. Adon suspected he may not even be in Thailand anymore. Therefore, if he were to seek a match with Sagat, he had to find a person who knew his location.
Adon had found a few street fighters but none had really challenged his skill to a degree. In Jamaica, he found a man named Dee-Jay. Dee-Jay was always smiling and Adon himself was getting frustrated more at being unable to find anyone who knew of Sagat. Dee-Jay knew who Adon was through and called him "Sagat's little boy" and a "chump". This got Adon angry and he fought against Dee-Jay. Adon won of course.
After several more fights, Adon discovered a secret organisation known as Shadowlaw. Apparently, Shadowlaw had been keeping watch of Adon's fights and became impressed by him. After defeating a few of Shadowlaw's henchmen, Lord Bison of Shadowlaw had come to recruit Adon personally. Adon, himself, was not a criminal and only sought inner strength and more importantly, a victory over Sagat. Adon knew that M. Bison was a powerful fighter and enjoyed the challenge of a worthy foe. During the fight, M. Bison revealed that he knew of Adon's desire to meet Sagat again and would tell him his location but only if Adon defeated Bison, himself. M. Bison knew that the battle between Sagat and Adon would be an explosive one and wanted to judge whether Adon's hatred of Sagat would bring out the strength that he needed from a Shadowlaw warrior. So Bison purposely loss to Adon.
Adon soon found Sagat and was quick to challenge him. Sagat believed that the difference in strength between them was still evident and fought as such. Sagat quickly realised that Adon was much stronger than before. The time spent training alone had given Adon a fighting style that Sagat was unable to predict although Adon knew Sagat's fighting style exactly. Using a combination of rage and being able to predict Sagat's attacks gave Adon the upper-hand. By the time Sagat realised he had to get serious in the battle, it was already over. Adon had finally managed to defeat his once hero and teacher. Adon thought it was better for Sagat to live in the humiliating knowledge that the student had defeated the master and would return to kill Sagat at a time of his choosing.
To celebrate Sagat's defeat, Adon destroys the statue in Sagat's arena to leave his mark of victory there. Adon went on to become the champion of the Muay Thai arena. As he was sat in his room waiting for the event to begin, one of the organisers rushed in and told Adon that his challenger had been killed by a mysterious man. As he described the man's appearance to Adon, Adon recognised him as a man who used the same power Ryu used to defeat Sagat. Adon knows that the strength this man wields is very powerful. Adon proclaimed to all that he will seek this man out and defeat him to prove that he is the greatest champion in the world. But secretly, he wanted to gain this strength for his own purposes.

X-ISM STORY
With Sagat defeated, Adon, the self-proclaimed "God of Muay Thai" soon grew to be restless once more. Sagat was protected by the Shadowlaw army and to attempt to kill Sagat now would be suicide. As strong as he was, Adon was no match for an entire army. No, he would seek out another man, a man who Adon hoped to gain more strength from by defeating. He was aware of this man's killing move - the Shun-Goku-Satsu and believed that his own Muay Thai could stand against it. He began a search for Akuma...
On his travels, Adon found a fighter known as Ken Masters. Adon knew that Ken also practices in the same fighting style as Ryu and Akuma. Ken was as over-rated as Adon believed and was quickly defeated.
Adon's strength had also attracted the attention of Rose, a mysterious woman. Rose tried to tell Adon how his obsession with power would destroy him. But Adon laughed this off and fought and defeated Rose.
Soon after, M. Bison had returned to recruit Adon. He was clearly impressed with Adon's strength and his victory over Sagat. He also knew of Adon's interest in the "Raging Demon". Adon was shocked that Bison could have known such a thing and Bison fought Adon to show that his own Psycho Power is the strongest in the world.

I'd like to see a polished system based off of the Third Strike engine. I'd demand that capcom stop being lazy and use high quality sprites like those in 3S, as well as all the characters from 1,2,&3. I think this is long over due.

Best part is... I'd get Cammy and Zangief with high quality sprites on a 3rd strike engine... I want it!

got one bone to pic with those stats..... a very small bone.
Why is Ryu's attack speed higher than Ken's? If you are going to have Ken be the slower, he should at least make up for it in intelligence, seeing how he has been able to create more original moves than Ryu, who wanted to perfect his techniques as they were taught to him. I can see Ryu being stronger and more durable, but faster.....
Even Chun Li has a lower attack speed than Ryu. How is that Chun Li and Ken are on par with Zangief and T-Hawk... And Hugo DEFINATELY deserves a higher durability rating...:wtf:
well, i could sit here and pick at stuff all day, but I realize that it's impossible to be perfect. i'll give you a  for puttin forth the time and the effort

I'm pretty sure Capcom has it's own talented artists that have been doing a fine job so far. Udon doing the endings was nice, but it proved to be more of a hassle in the long run.

Bass X0: There's a Fan Fiction forum you should be posting that in, it doesn't belong here.

Because of this

How would the characters actually move and fight like if they weren't
restricted by gameplay engine?

Capcom has actually stated that the most accurate portrayal thus far of
how various characters in Street Fighter could move and fight is the Street
Fighter Alpha anime, so you can watch that if you want to get a good jist
of how Ryu would actually fight in an actual battle. The storyline itself
of the anime isn't canon, of course, but it's a good representation of how
the street fighter characters could move and attack according to Capcom.
As examples, Capcom stated that Ryu actually did have the ability to move
fast enough to dodge bullets (not that he actually ever has, but he could
if the situation ever turned up) and Ken could really crack a cyborg's jaw
with certain moves. And Ryu and Akuma could easily smash pure wooden
dummies with basic blows.

Yeah I should lower Ryu's Speed to 3 since Rating of 3 should be Fast enough to dodge bullets.

Didn't rate zangeif and hugo's durability any Higher because their durability feats aren't that great compare to akuma who can withstand the extreme pressures of deep ocean.

It's funny as I just updated my site with extended biographies for Adon (and Mike) after 5 years of barely touching the site. Those that want to see it, go to www.geocities.com/ilfordboy
Click the left picture, then click 'Players' on menu bar at the top. This will lead to a biographies section that some of you may be interested in (especially you Bass X0).
Keep checking the site as I plan to update more frequently (particularly the bio section).

Sagat holds the 4th Tournament.

*Invitees (officially) include: Ryu, Ken, Alex, Yun, Yang, Makoto (toss-up), Sean, Hugo, Maki, and Adon.

*Invitees (unofficially): Chunli, Oro, Gouki, Urien.

Main plot: Sagat holds this tournament to settle with Ryu. Sadly he never gets the chance, Urien attacks and kills him before hand.

Urien's motives for doing this is force Gill's hand before he (Gill) is ready. By killing Sagat, he starts the process that will lead to the battle Gil spoke of.

Sagat's death enrages the honorable SF'ers including Ryu. They begin choosing sides and deciding to side against Gil or Urien.

Ryu struggles to keep his emotions in check and to try maintain his neutrality and work towards his confrontation with Gouki.

originally posted by Agent Guile:

color=tan]My storyline concept for Street Fighter 4:

Setting: year 2005

Character roster (includes 30 characters):

The Godly characters:
1. Gouki
2. Gill
3-5. resurrected Rose + the 2 other persons Bison trained with (assuming that they aren't Gill and Urien) (these three won't be selectable)

The demi-gods:
6. Ryu
7. Sagat
8. Urien

The really powerful characters:
9. Ken
10. Guile
11. Chun-Li

The really good scrubs:
12. Sakura
13. Mel
14. Amy
15. Datta
16. Alex

The filler scrubs
17-30. (Anyone that Capcom prefers to include)

The story:
Shadowlaw was slowly rebuilt after its destruction in SF2 (1993). It was being rebuilt secrectly. The characters involved in this are Rose (with Bison's remaining persona) and the two anonymous characters Bison trained with.
They (having a fake public identity), organized the Street Fighter 4 tournament as a secret means of gathering potential Shadowlaw warriors.

The selectable character lineup would include Sakura (now 31 years old) Mel, Amy, Datta, Alex, and the other filler scrubs. They are all listed in the tournament.

Gouki, Gill, Urien, Ryu, Sagat, Ken, Guile, and Chun-li will be hidden characters. They can only be unlocked only if you play good using the selectable characters.

All these hidden characters are hidden because they aren't listed on the tournament and are just there for their own personal agenda. But they can still battle anyone plainly for gaming purposes.

Guile and Chun will be there because of a rumor going around about the restructuring of Shadowlaw conspiracy and they have to investigate it.

Ken will be there because uhmm.....Ken has always been in any SF game.

Ryu will settle the score with Sagat and Gouki for the last time.

Gill will be there because of the potential threat that the Shadowlaw has over the Illuminati.

One might ask, will the hidden characters' personal agenda in any way affect the tournament? No because they'll do their agenda stuff immediately after the tournament.

In this game format, you'll initially play the new characters. You won't hate these new characters because...uhmm...well, most of them are blood related to the legendary Street Fighters (Mel, Amy and Datta). Well, that's better than the clones (but unrelated to the character being cloned) of SF3.

You'll not regret playing the scrubs because of the chance that you can unlock the veterans by playing them efficiently. Also, maybe the veterans should have a sophisticated ending so that the player can understand how the SF4 storyline goes after unlocking them. The scrubs will probably have only a casual ending.

So that's it. Not only that you can unlock the veterans, you'll also get a good ending for them as well.

Well, that's my concept.[/color]

 very cool idea agent guile !!! Any one else have any ideas for the next SF 4 game?

my SF4 Concept. Feel free to laugh at it, whatever. I'm not sensitive about these things. :D

ARTIST

Nothing against the Anime look, but it's time for a change. Capcom should hire Tetsuo Hara of Fist of tne North Star and Slammasters fame to return SF to it's hardcore SF routes of SF1 and the early versions of SF2. And if he can bring Buronson since he only wrote Fist of the North Star THE GREATEST MARTIAL ARTS MANGA IN EXISTENCE all the merrier.

Second runner up is Peter Chung of Aeon Flux and Alexander AKA Reign. In Phantom 2040 he showed he can do established characters, so don't worry about him putting red lips on Ryu or anything since he didn't do this on Phantom. Anyway, his character Designs from everything to Transformers the Movie to Dark Fury are wild enough to shake up SF really good, especially in regards to new characters.

Lots of third runner ups from Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) to Miura (Berserk) but moving things along -

RETURNING CHARACTERS

Now, I don't mind Capcom returning 4 characters after only a few years, but seeing as how we aren't getting anything in like a decade at best they are hella retarted if they pull that crap again. Let's face it, it's all about the original SF2 8. All games the original SF2 8 have shown up in (SFZ3, CVS1 & 2) have been sucessful games, it's a no brainer. All Capcom has to do to explain them bieng there, they have a new beef with the Boss, are forced to attend or just want t show their strength upon invitation. It ain't hard, Capcom and it will guarantee success.

I'd also toss in Sagat, Cammy, Balrog and Gouki. Anyone else missing from SF2 in my list will show up in the Home Version.

SFZ - Adon and Guy. Two characters we don't know what happened to exactly after SFZ. (Juni and Juli along with two other Dolls of TiamatRoar's choosing all wearing plain clothes after SFZ3 will be hidden in the Home Versions as a tribute to the great TiamatRoar for writing the Plot Guide!) ;)

SF3 - Alex and Urien - These are Okamoto's two favorite SF3 Characters. Since Okamoto left Capcom, they need to do whatever they can to channel his 'spirit.'

NEW CHARACTERS

For the Most Part, Capcom needs to stop looking at Anime and see what is going on in the world today to create new characters. Here's some of my bad examples, note they are examples but they follow the thinking Capcom should implore IMHO.

There are lots of Champions in Sumo now that are American, Hawaiin, etc. It's not just a Japanese Sport anymore. So they should create an African American Sumo Wrestler. He should be a brain surgeon on the side, no more racist stereotypes! Since E.Honda doesn't fight in traditional Sumo style, we have an instant rivalry here.

Two trends have become popular in recent years in Televised Boxing. Female Boxers like Christy Martin and Mexican Boxers such as Camacho, Oscar De la Hoya, and even Trinindad even though he's Puerto Rican he's still Latino. Combine the two. Create a Mexican Female Boxer.

Members of the Jewish Defense League use a Martial Art that uses three parts of the body that can not (or are difficult) to be broken, the web between your thumb and Pointing Finger, elbow and wrist, so it's kind of like Mue Thai arm strikes but different, involves more gauging. Arm this Female Member of the JDL with Akido also for more variation. She can wear a tuxedo over Isrealite symbols on her Shirt as an outfit.

Aside from Martial Arts, Hong Kong Cinema and their comics that are currently exploding in the US are full of Kung Fu Characters using Broad Chinese Swords (think Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Jet Li's Hero, Storm Riders Movie and Comic, etc., etc., etc.) Create a character like this as an Assasin from Shanghai so you know he is no joke.

STORY - I have my story concept but I won't bore you with it unless you really want me to. There are lots of people in Japan who can write a great story and breath new life into the franchise. I'm still going with Buronson as my #1 choice but there's plenty others who can do it.Well, here's Sano's SF 4 story for you lazy people. Like sano said if you want more check out http://www.shoryuken.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69987&page=2&pp=15 There's alot of SF 4 idea's getting thrown around :nunchuck:
One year after SF3 Third Strike Gill Realized the End of the World Prophecy from his SF3SI ending was about to come true. He decided to forcefully recruit Alex, but he Patricia and Tom went on the run. Since he could not find Alex, he decided to train two pupils in his styles, one in Fire, another in Ice. For fire he made the obvious choice. Ken Masters. Gill kidnapped Eliza and Mel so Ken is forced to train with Gill since only he knows their location. Training under Gill, Ken's Ki Flames become real flames and once again, he catches up with Ryu who trained with Oro.

For his 'Ice' Style, he chooses the above named Kung Fu Shanghai Assasin, only his freezing technique becomes a lot more subtle. It involves him cutting you with his sword and sending his Ki/Chi/Life Energy into you to slow you down. Along with Ken's overly Flamboyant Style and his subtle style, the two balance out each other well.

The man who taought Vega(Cape), Gill and Urien resurfaces. Vega didn't actually kill him like he thought. He was healed up after Vega defeated him with the use of genetics, robotics, advanced science, whatever, making him part cyborg. He shows up at Gill's crib and defeats him and Urien. He beats Gill up so bad Resurrection can't even help get him out of his coma. Ken and the Kung Fu student arrive too late, and the new baddie tells Ken if he wants to know where Eliza and Mel are, sign up for the next SF Tourney.

The New Villain runs an Organization even above Gill's Illuminati and he knows EVERYTHING so it is easy for him to find Alex and invite him otherwise Tom and Patricia would die as he also sent Alex a lot of photos with him in the background of Tom and Patricia for he can find them whenever he wants and kill them whenever, so Alex joins up so they can live. And since the baddie knows all, he knows where Ken and Eliza are.

The baddie's Gimmick is he can control Gravity. Via Projectiles, he can toss them at you to speed you up, slow you down, levitate you or ground you. And due to his Robotics, he is already way past regular Human Limits. He wants to bring about the Prophecy but realizes that SFers have thwarted Shadowloo and the Illuminati in the past, so he's just gonna invite them to the Tourney and do away with them at the same time. He also has a lost "Red Sea Scroll," LOL! that has a missing part of Gill's prophecy.

Ryu and Sagat's rematch happens, it's amazing, stuff blows up, it's worthy of three out of four Gods, etc. They both Dragon Punch each other and are knocked out at the same time and stay unconscious for a full hour. They both wake up at the same exact time causing a tie. Both are satisfied with this, neither wants to continue the rivalry and they move on.

The new boss that can control Gravity centers himself at the Earth's Core to amplify his Gravitational Powers. Since the Moon is caught up in the Earth's Gravitational Pull, he decides to use his powers at the core to destroy the Moon kicking of the first phase of the prophecy. Alex, Ken, the other student, Guile, Chun-Li and Guy(whose been hiding all these years because he was looking for the baddie) all reach him - some have enough wins to reach him, others just locate him. The Boss kicks all of their Asses. And the Missing Part of Gill's Prophecy was - "Only a Dragon of Light can ultimatly prevent the end of the World" WHICH TURNS OUT TO BE RYU!!!! During a long and vicous Fight were Ryu almost dies, he manages to defeat the bad guy, who after a Shin Shoryuken falls down a crevice that seems to lead to the Earth's Volcanic Center, so it at least looks like he's dead. The Masters Foundation finally locates Eliza and Mel, Ryu and Ken look forwrd to fighting in the next SF Tourney since Ken has become that much stronger, THE END.

Ah well, gave it my best...
Ladies and Gentleman Sano !!! Awsome story idea dude!!

I have Been reading this for a few days now, and I wanted to see what u guys thought o' my input.
If they could make or will make one they should.
Mel learns father's style of fighting and travels fighting the veteran SF fighters Sakura, Honda, Guile, and etc. Afterwards, there is urgent news to all those involved with the last time Bison was seen that he has returned to finish what he started some years ago. So yada yada yada Ryu, Ken, and the other SFs try to defeat Bison once again but it has seemed that his psycho power has now risen to unprecedented levels. Ryu and Ken now reunited our having troubles defeating him. (Kind of like homeboy's post except different in my mind.) Mel watches helplessly as Bison upholds and boasts about his revenge so Mel attacks Bison while they are temporarily out of commission. Bison counters with his teleportation, and blasts him with a psycho ball. Ken is enraged, and hits him with one of his patented fiery shoryukens. Sends Bison flying packing loads of pain. Ken: "And that's only the tip of the iceberg if you don't leave him out of this." "Mel, what were you thinking??!?" "Leave this to me and Ryu, OK!, we are fine!!" But they are badly hurt, and it looks bleak for them, and Bison begins to show no injuries whatsoever. Then he gives them the same big grin we've been knowing for all these years. Battle continues Ryu seems to be a little more relentless as it goes on, and yada yada yada as it is about to climax Ryu shows signs of the Dark Hadou. Bison is surprised to see this, and wonders what is this strange energy coming from him. But Ryu resists it, and begins to prepare for the denjin (Light) hadouken as a retaliation against his anger. Bison rushes at Ryu to stop him, but Ken comes out of nowhere with a new technique he just developed I don't know what to call it maybe one of you could fill in the blank. This does tons of damage to Bison as the fire surrounds his body it burns away some of his red uniform, and his cape. Afterwards, Bison removes his cap, and strokes his now longer hair. I have a personal Bison that has a short ponytail but the same type of hair. I know it sounds crazy but that's my idea of a new Bison so bare with me. Bison gives them an honorable compliment, and says he will remember them when they die at his hands. With that he sets up for the Mega Psycho Crusher. As he is about to destroy them, Ryu throws the Denjin Hadoken. Bison feels the raw power of it, and then suddenly there is silence. Then once again Bison rises from the ashes with just enough energy to defeat them. But is interrupted by Mel for the final time as he applies his father's greatest technique the Shippu Jinrai Kyaku. I will continue it later. Well what do u think so far...

Part 1:
Oro teaches Ryu everything he knows so his skills can live on after his death. During training Ryu tells Oro about Akuma and Oro goes long into thought and decides to teach Ryu his ultimate technique(something big). Before Ryu's training is done, Akuma senses and tracks down Ryu and Oro and he attacks Oro late at night while Ryu is sleeping. Oro has become very weak over the years training Ryu and is having trouble with Akuma. Akuma attempts the SGS on him but Oro knows hows to evade it by emptying his soul like Gen but his elderly fatigue slightly hinders him. Because of this, Oro's soul was not completely emptied and the SGS catches Oro partially. The SGS does not instantly kill him but it fatally wounds him, with only minutes of life left. The energy and sound released by the SGS wakes Ryu and he rushes to the scene. Oro struggles to tell Ryu to escape so he can finish his training but ryu wants to stay and fight. Akuma realizes the situation and tells Ryu he awaits his full potential then escapes via Ashura Warp. Oro tells Ryu something meaningfull then dies. Ryu becomes grim and feels responsible for Oro's death. Ryu countinues training and street fighting viciously(SNH is not present). While Ryu is running the gamut of fighters on his route through southeast Asia, Sagat discovers him beating down a thug that was harrassing a poor family. Sagat greets him and Ryu almost instantly asks for a fight. Sagat sees something different with Ryu but he agrees to fight. Ryu is not well focused as he is sticking with strong and slow attacks, an inner anger is driving his part of the fight and Sagat sees this. Sagat with with his size is easily dancing around Ryu, Sagat sees an opening and punches Ryu in the stomach which makes him reel back. Sagat jumps in to knock him out with a roundhouse but dodges to the side as Ryu goes up with a SNH-charged shoryuken. Sagat lands on his feet to the side of Ryu and watches as he lands from the shoryuken. Sagat remains silent with a "you are better than this" look on his face. Ryu looks at Sagat and collapses to the ground with a look of shame on his face. (continued on next post)
Part 2:
Sagat inquires as to what has gotten to Ryu. Ryu tells Sagat of Akuma and the death of his masters. Sagat recalls that Akuma once killed Bison(Sagat was there right?). Sagat lectures Ryu and tells him(again?) that one cannot fight with hate as their only drive. Ryu refocuses himself with and Sagat's help and they both train/spar with each other for a few weeks. Ryu gets word from Ken that the World Warrior Tournament 4 has been annouced and asks Sagat if he will join. Sagat agrees with the hope of finally having a meaningful fight with Ryu and to support him in his battle against Akuma who is understood to be lurking the tournament as usual. Ken enters the tournament to beat his son Mel who has entered against Ken's wishes. Sakura decides not to join but support Ryu from the sidelines.

In an isolated area during the tournament, Sagat and Ryu have their fight. A focused Ryu manages to defeat Sagat and he accepts the loss contently. As they leave the field Akuma arrives and challenges Ryu. Ryu accepts and they do battle. Ryu becomes fatigued due to just finishing his battle with Sagat and Akuma gains then upper-hand and knocks Ryu down. Akuma insults Ryu and tells him to show his full potential or he will kill this girl(Akuma then points behind him). Ryu failed to realize that Sakura had been standing in the distance, nearly in tears. Akuma turns around and fires a Messatsu-Gohadou at a paralyzed Sakura. Ryu gasps in panic as the blast travels its course. Sagat steps in front of Sakura and puts all of his remaining strength into a Tiger Cannon to cancel out the hadou. The blast dies down and Sagat becomes weak and faint. Akuma grimaces while looking at Sagat and asks Ryu how many of his friends must die as he charges for a SGS. Ryu gets up with new vigor and tells Akuma to face him. Ryu lands the first hit of Shin-Shoryuken on Akuma but he manages to escape the next hit by warping backwards. Ryu levitates some objects toward Akuma and he bats them away with the back of his hands. As Akuma is focused on the objects, Ryu pierces through his defenses with a dashing punch. Akuma recovers quickly and thanks Ryu for making it neccessary for him to "try harder", he then powers up to what we call "Shin Akuma"(just Akuma when he's not holdinh back). Ryu gets beat for a while then he remembers his training and tries twice to pull off Oro's ultimate hidden technique to no avail. Akuma goes for the SGS and Ryu goes for the technique again and lands it. The attack hits Akuma as he grabs Ryu with the SGS. Oro's attack causes Akuma to err his SGS and dies. Sagat and Sakura take Ryu to a hospital and he recovers. They watch on the television as the plot of the tournament unfolds. (cont)

Since I'm here, my SF4 idea:

-The game should play in 2D but use cel shaded graphics.

-The engine should have a groove/ism select of an upgraded 3rd Strike style and Alpha 3 A-ism style OR it could be a modification of the propsed CFAS engine with the multi section life bars and different tier supers.

-Though the 3D should make ingame movies slightly easier, at the very least they should pull an Alpha 3+SvC, a brief intro blurb to describe the storyline for that specific character and then individual conversations for the characters. There will be more than one main storyline since some people will fight different final bosses.

-The car bonus stage has to come back of course.

-The story would run around Urien's ending being true which would mean that Gill is dead and Urien is striking out with his scientific plans. This should take place roughly around 2K4 so there will be a sizeable amount of time passage without making to much of the original cast too old. It should at least be 2000 if 2K4 is too far away.

Characters

-Urien: See above. He'd have his regular version and then a cheap boss version. Oh, and change his eyes to red or yellow.

-Ryu: Duh. I'm not a big fan of him but he is important. He should play mostly like his 3S self but with possibly a new special and super learned from Oro, since Oro wouldn't really participate. He's not entirely Oro based since...

-Ken is not playable: Someone injured him and thus he can't participate. This is to add more variance to the gameplay by removing a shoto and more to the story due to the mystery and peril behind it. Likewise, other characters (Guile? Sagat? Dudley?) should have also been attacked.

-Sean: He plays different than the other shotos and due to Ken's injury, he now wants to prove himself. Sean should be a somewhat joke character in personality put he should have decent (read: non-sucky) gameplay.

-Akuma: He's here for that big deal showdown with Ryu. Normal version and a boss version. Both should have the jacket part of his gi shreadded/falling off like in a few art pictures of him. His supers should be tweaked so that one is removed in favor of the one in his 3S ending.

-Karin: By this time she's an adult and she decides to become the official tournament sponsor (remember Akuma and Urien are running around doing their stuff). She should look like herself only in a stylish red business suit instead of her schoolgirl dress.

-Remy: We need a Guile clone and we need to know who his daddy is.

-Q: Who is he? What is he? Why is he?

-Necro: Still on the run from Urien's forces. A few gameplay tweaks. Though still very pale, his skin tone should lean towards something slightly more natural and his pupil and iris have formed fully instead of his eye being all one color.

-Twelve: Sent to capture Necro. He should gain a new special to up his arsenal (in other words, not suck). Visually they should make him fiercer (sharper teeth and nails). Change his name to something other than "Twelve".

-Data: Also all grown up and some of his educational studies have brought him in contact with a few of the other fighters. Instead of fighting like his daddy, Dhalsim, he fights with a staff based style like Billy Kane.

-Entirely new villainous female: Fights like and looks like a fusion of Rose and M.Bison. She is attempting to revive Shadoloo. Make her from somewhere like Australia that's never been used in an SF game.

-Chun Li: For excuse, see above.

-Cammy: For excuse, see above and below. SF2 outfit.

-Juni: Recaptured and brainwashed by Shadoloo. She is already relatively different from Cammy so she'd just need minor tweaks like giving her Sniping Arrow instead of Spiral Arrow.

-Vega: Considering he's not dead, Shadoloo would obviously want to recruit him again.

-Elena: Finished from medical school, she's out to see how she can help the world. She plays different than most other characters and she's a light hearted fluff character who isn't bogged down by the end of the world darkness of everyone else. I think she should wear the outfit she wore in her 3S ending but with some of her traditional jewelry.

-Ibuki: Her ninja college has sent her to put a stop to Urien. She should have more options during her airborne flips than just her kunai (make her stomp kick able to be done in the air)?

-Yun: There's a new tournament and he wants to enter.

-Yang: See above.

-Eagle: Looking for money after being fired as a bouncer. Possibly gets employed by Shadoloo but without knowing who his true employer is.

-Makoto: Still running around snapping necks and punching groins. Wants the dojo to be more popular.

-Alex: Enters tournament after much intense training. Gets caught up in Urien's plots. Discovers why the heck Gill was so interested in him.

-Random new male tae kwon do fighter: For the heck of it.

-New spanish wrestler: Joins Hugo and Poison's HWA. One of their members, Rainbow Mika, is victim of the attacks on fighters. They decided to test the new big guy by sending him out to find the assailant. He also seeking out his wife, a fighter who has recently disappeared...

-New latino female boxer: Lied to and then brainwashed by Shadoloo, she now does their bidding. Plays with a mix of Dudley, Balrog, and Cody. Unlike the monotone of most brainwash victims, she's driven insane by it and acts somewhat similar to Blood Iori.

-Someone from the Final Fight games: To keep the connection between the two franchises.

you know it would be great if the include anime visuals in the game... Perhapes like a GGX2-ish story mode... That way they can also clear up the official plot of Street fighter...

I do really think they should do a new SFAlpha (SFA4), including all SFAlpha characters + SF1 characters redesigned + All SF2 characters (which are already included in SFA3). Of course, with a consistent cannon. Then, we could put it in SF space. It would be SFA4, [SF1] [SF2] and SF3:TS. Then, after, SF4. I also think they should make a new Final Fight game to be released with this eventual SFA4. I would be cool see all FF characters in one final FF game. Imagine, besides: SFA4 and FF made in CPS3, just like SF3. Great! But dreams... (Capcom, please, make our dreams come true... :] but I still guess fighting games are now only in 3D :[). Does anybody think like me?

STREET FIGHTER NEO

Quote:
Way Of The Warrior

A short time after the events of Street Fighter 3...

Ken Masters decides that it is time that his son Mel be trained in the ways of his style. While training his son, Ken is surprised to see how quickly he advances. Mel learns the advanced techniques of Shotokan at you much younger age then Ryu and Ken ever did, and he is also alot stronger than Ryu and Ken were at his age. Ken begins to think that Mel might grow reckless at such a young age, so he decides to push Mel harder in the teachings hoping it will make him more discipline. Not too long after his 17th birthday Mel gets into an argument with his father about how he is being pushed too hard in his training. When things heat up between the two Eliza tries to settle them down, but she can do nothing. Mel is so enraged at his father that he engages him in battle. Ken beats and embarrasses Mel to an extreme degree. Ken tells his son that if he can't keep his feelings in check that he will always lose. After the fight Mel goes to his room to recover and thinks things over. Me
anwhile Eliza talks with Ken and tells him that he is pushing Mel to hard. Ken tells her its for his own good, but Eliza knows things will only get worse, she talks with her son about maybe going on a vacation by himself so that he'll have sometime to himself and do some soul searching, and if he decides not continue his training she won't think any less of him and will always love him. Ken over hears the conversation from Mel's doorway and says "Ditto."Mel thinks to himself that his father may not be all bad, and what he was doing might of been in his best interest, but Mel thinks that maybe his father should of told him first that he was going to push him harder with good reason.

Mel decides that it is probably best for him to take a vacation, but he has an ulterior motive in mind behind his trip. Mel tells himself that he will take a trip around the world visiting different countries, which hone the legendary fighters his father told him stories of. In his trip around the world Mel meets up with various fighters such as General Guile, Sean Matsuda, Lt. Cammy White, Dhalsim, Edmond Honda, Elena, Fei Long, Ibuki, Makoto, Sagat, Sakura Kasugano, Yun, Yang, and Zangief. All of the fighters teach him techniques either out of the kindness of their heart, or by Mel proving worthy, or in most cases Mel dipping into his wallet for a pay off. Mel asks each fighter the question "Why do you fight?"to get a little insight on why he himself should continue fighting.

Before heading back to America Mel knows that there is one man he must see, Ryu. Mel searches all of Japan in search of Ryu, but no one has seen or heard from him in four years. Mel figures there's only one place he could be, the old Shotokan dojo that he spent most of his life training at. When he arrives at the dojo located in the distant mountains of Japan, Mel notices that it is not in the best of shape. The roof is close to caving in and the wood is so old that it doesn’t look like it will be of much use for any given time. Mel thinks to him "This place could definitely use some work." Mel walks around in search of Ryu and finds his fathers long time friend and rival under a Sakura/Cherry Blossom tree in full bloom meditating near the grave of his master Gouken. Mel stares at Ryu for a while, and then he closes his eyes and remembers the first and only time in his life when he met Ryu. It was short time before his father started to train him in the martial arts. He reme
mbers his father and Ryu sparring with one another before Ryu left to go back to Japan. Mel always wished to be as great of a fighter as Ryu, but somewhere along the way in his father's training he forgot this.

When Mel opens his eyes he is met with Ryu's. This startles Mel.

"Its been a along time Mel."

"It certainly has Ryu."

"Why are you here?"

"Ummm...I....uh.."

"I see, you and your father have been having troubles."

"How did you know!?"

"I could just tell. I knew if Ken began to train you, that it wouldn't be to long before the two of you began fighting. The two of you are just alike."

"I am nothing like my father!"

"I see." Ryu says while cracking a small smile. "So you've left home in an effort to make yourself a better fighter while traveling the world have you?"

"Something like that."

"And now you want me to train you?"

"I would be honored if you would Ryu."
Ryu stares into Mel's eyes for second before speaking. "I want to show you something."

Ryu heads back over to the Sakura tree with Mel following behind.

"My master told me that when I was able to predict where the leaves would fall only then would I have nothing else to learn."

Ryu places his hand on the tree, closes his eyes and gives the tree a powerful punch. The sakura petals begin to fall all around him, and at lightning quick speed Mel sees the leaves around himself and Ryu begin to disappear. He can only see Ryu move in blurs of motion, but in a matter of seconds its all over, the sakura petals are all gone, and not one of them touched the ground. Ryu opens his hands and eyes together at the same time and Mel watches as the pedals come pourout of Ryu's hands and into the wind.

"I don't believe it."

"What’s not to believe?"

"That, what you just did."

"You'll have to learn to believe, if you wish to succeed."

Mel glances over at the tree. "This tree reminds me of home."

"Do you miss your home?"

"Only my mother. I remember seeing her under our tree as the sakura pedals would fall and get caught in her hair."

"Sakura..." Ryu says softly to himself.

"What was that?" Mel asks.

"Oh nothing, I was just thinking of an old friend."

"Sakura Kasugano..???"

"How did you know?"

"When I met her she spoke of you."

"You met her?"

"Yes in my journey. She was one of the only individuals to teach me something out of the kindness of her heart."

"How is she?"

"She is very powerful and very beautiful. She told me to tell you "Hello" and she hopes your journey is going well. In the time I spent with her she taught me more than I could of possibly fathomed. She even showed me a picture of you that she took when you were alot younger."

"I'm glad to hear she is doing well. When I met her she was very young and free spirited and dreamed of becoming a great fighter. I’m glad she obtained her dream."

"What’s the deal with you two?"

"What do you mean?"

"I noticed that when you both speak of one another, you both have this weird tone in your voice."

"Sakura pulled me back from a dark place once, and I don't know what would have become of myself if she hadn't."

"Alright, whatever, its actually none of my business, I’m sorry about asking."

"Don't feel bad Mel, you were just curious."

"Say Ryu, I noticed that the dojo looks like it's in pretty bad shape. You need some help fixing it?"

"I'll make a deal with you Mel. If you help me fix the shrine, I'll teach you everything I know about the martial arts."

"Wow! Really!? I'll make a few calls and get a construction team here, and the dojo will look better than new in no time."

"No."

"No?"

"No outside help. We must do this task on our own."

Mel is puzzled, but he does not question Ryu. They both immediately get to work on the dojo. While Ryu cannot teach Mel techniques while they are building, he teaches/tells Mel the things that he himself has learned and experienced on his journey. Ryu hopes to teach Mel the things that it took him a lifetime to understand, because he does not want Mel to wander and search his for something his whole life like he did. After the two finish the dojo they agree it looks perfect and Mel's martial arts training begins. Ryu decides it best that Mel and him spar so he can see what Mel knows and far he as come. In the battle Ryu notices the techniques of other fighters that Mel has incorporated into his style. Ryu also sees that Mel attacks out of anger rather than fighting with his spirit. Ryu tells Mel that he must let go of the anger that he holds against his father, or it will lead to his own destruction. Over time and with Ryu's teachings Mel learns to let go of his hatred. Mel
learns the most advance techniques of the Shotokan style, while creating and mastering techniques of his own. Mel's training with Ryu lasts 6 months. At the end of Mel's training Ryu and Mel fight yet again. This time Mel is much more powerful than he was the first time he faced Ryu. The two fight and it is a great battle, but in the end the master succeeds. Ryu tells Mel that he has progressed a great deal, and he may even be better than his father, but Mel tells Ryu that being better than his father is no longer a concern his, and with those words Ryu says "I have nothing more to teach you Mel Masters."

Mel wants to show Ryu his thanks for what he has done for him, Ryu says he needs nothing, but Mel is very persistent and forces Ryu to a night out in downtown Tokyo. Their first stop is a clothing store. Mel tells Ryu that he's gotta start wearing something other than that old white Karate Gi. Ryu goes along with Mel, and gets some new clothes, but neglects to remove his (trademark) headband that his best friend gave him long ago. Mel tries to introduce Ryu to a normal life by taking him everywhere from movie theaters to bars. Ryu is uncomfortable at first, but later loosens up and becomes more adept to modern living. When the two arrive back at the dojo Ryu thanks Mel, and admits that for the first time in almost forever he had fun. Both Ryu and Mel are very tired after the full night and decide it best to get some rest.

Around 4 a.m. Mel awakes to the sounds of fighting. He looks outside the dojo to find his master engaged in battle with the deadly Akuma. Mel quickly tries to intervene and help his master, but Ryu tells him that it is not his fight, and for him to stand down. Mel obeys his master, and watches the two masters of their style prepare to commence battle once again.

"Akuma, why do you seek to kill me?"

"There can only be one true Master of the Fists!"

The two engage in battle. Fist fly, powers explode, and Mel can only stand and watch the greatest battle the world has ever seen. Slowly but surely Ryu proves to be much more than Akuma expected. It is apparent that Ryu's skills have surpassed Akuma at this point. In the end Ryu stands victorious over a beaten Akuma. Akuma admits that Ryu is now the supreme Master of the Fists, and now all that’s left is for Ryu to kill him. Ryu says that he is not a murderer, and tells Akuma to leave. Ryu turns his back on his defeated foe. Akuma feels disgraced to have lost and not died, he thinks to himself that if Ryu would not kill him willingly that he would make Ryu kill him. Akuma stands to his feet and with his last bit of strength performs the Raging Hell Murder towards Mel. Ryu sees this coming and knows he can only do one thing, Ryu charges a Denjin Hadou-Ken fueled by the murderous intent he had long forgotten. A giant force shakes the ground as the final blow is delivered by Ry
u, killing Akuma. This action comes at heavy price though. Upon killing Akuma the murderous intent buried within Ryu erupts. Ryu's inner evil has completely swallowed him this time, there is no turning back now. In disbelief Mel engages Ryu only to be thrown to the ground. He hears his master speak, but his voice is different, it is now that of a being with the Murderous Intent.

"I do not wish to fight you Mel Masters. It is not yet time for you and I to battle. There is a far more important warrior who I seek to fight before you."

Mel's eyes widen as he realizes who Ryu is speaking of. Mel quickly stands to his feet and charges Ryu.

"I won't let you!!!"

Before Mel can make contact with Ryu a powerful fireball hits him, knocking him unconscious. When he awakens it is already sometime in the after noon. After remembering what happened, Mel's first thought is that he must get back to America and back home. Mel catches the first flight he can back home. When he arrives at his home he greeted by his mother who embraces him. She tells him that she got and kept all the letters and postcards Mel sent to her over the course of his trip. Ken greets his son with the the words

"So the kid is finally back?"

"Its good to see you dad, and I’m glad to see your doing well, I really am, but Im hardly the child I was when I left."

"Is that so? Then prove it to me."

"I have no intention of fighting you dad. There are more important things to worry about than that right now."

Mel brings his mom and dad up to speed on his trip and what happened to Ryu. He tells his father that Ryu will no doubt be coming here looking to for a fight with his long time rival.

"That’s fine by me. Ryu and I have a score to settle anyways."

"Is that all you care about!? Settling your old score!? Don't you even care that your friend has been pushed over the edge and into darkness!?" Mel says.

Ken pauses for a moment and then walks away.

"I can't believe him!"

"That’s just your father Mel. He doesn’t like to get emotional about things. Deep inside he knows that Ryu is his best friend, but right now he's not trying to let that cloud his judgment on the matter."

"I guess..." Mel mutters.

In the wait for Ryu, Ken trains himself feverously. Ken tries repeatedly to tempt his son into fighting with him, but Mel ignores him and meditates as much as he can. Ken begins to notice that Mel is more unlike himself (Ken) and seems to be more like his friend Ryu with each passing day he is around his son.

Ryu finally arrives at the Masters' Mansion. Ken is prepared to do battle. Eliza and Mel watch the two at a safe distance. Ryu and Ken exchange no words, but rather stare at one another before heading into battle. When to two rivals engage (in the battle that the have both waited a lifetime to participate in) it is a sight to behold. The two warriors give it their all, but Mel notices a ways into the fight his father starts slipping. Mel sees opportunities in the battle in which his father couldve gained the upper hand, but he does nothing, and this leads to his defeat at the hands of Ryu.

"Aren’t you going to kill me now?"

"No."

"What’s the matter, has going evil made you soft?"

"Why did you not fight with all your spirit?"

"What are you talking about?"

"You withheld your true might from our battle. Why?"

"Because in that black soul of yours I believe my friend still exist."

"Fool! Your friend is gone, I am all that remains now!"

"Oh yeah!? Then why do you still wear the headband I once gave you?"

Ryu looks up as if to see the headband and then pulls it off his head.

"This old thing? I merely forgot it was there. If that was your concern then you really are a fool."

Ryu throws the headband to the ground.

"Do you not remember the promise you once made to me Ken Masters? Remember your promise the next time we meet and do not hold back, because I surely won't."

Ryu walks off into darkness. Mel and Eliza run over to Ken. While Eliza helps him up, Mel picks up the headband, and can only watch the man who was once his master walk off into the darkness.

A short time later news of the next Street Fighter tournament breaks out. The top fighters from all around the world gather for the fight or the tournaments prize 1 billion dollars.

Old Wounds Begin Anew

After sucumming to the Satsu No Hadou once again, Ryu seeeked out his long time rival Ken Masters, but upon traveling to America, Ryu passed through Thailand home to another of his long time rivals Sagat.

It was Sagat who found Ryu. He could feel Ryu's enormous ki, and knew it could only be him, but could tell something was diffrient.

The two warriors stand, eyes locked with one anothers, standing in the very same place they met and fought years ago.

"How ironic the two of us meet here again." Sagat says.

"Indeed, and if we fight again the outcome will be the same." Ryu replies.

"I dont want to fight you. I want to fight the man who gave me this scar years ago" Sagat says while holding his chest (where a shirt covers his scar)

"Fool! The power I possess now is the very same power I used to sacr your chest all those years ago!"

"What!?" a suprised Sagat replies.

"So, you did not know that it was the Satsu No Hadou that allowed me to defeat you?"

"How could you allow yourself to fall victim to such a dark power?"

"At the time I was only concerned about winning, and was very confused about the power that lay within me, but now that I have truly embraced the Satsu No Hadou I have become far more powerful than anyone or anything this world has to offer."

"RAGGH!!! RYU!!! Enough talk!!!" an engaged Sagat shouts.

"So be it." Ryu says.

Sagat charges foward at Ryu. Ryu steps aside to swing his arm into Sagat's stomach, and then uses his elbow strike Sagat on the back of his neck. Sagat swings his arm around to try and catch Ryu across the face, but Ryu avoids his arm and delivers a foward kick to Sagat's face, then using his other leg hits Sagat across the side of the with a spinning back kick. Sagat falls to the ground. When Sagat stands to his feet he dosnt see Ryu, until a fist slams across his chin, another fist hits him in stomach, another hits him in his jaw, a well placed kick to the back of his leg sends Sagat to his knees. Ryu uses a combination of elbow and knee blows to Sagat. Ryu then palms the top of Sagat's head/skull, and then proceeds to slam him face first into the ground while using to force to jump up and land a few yards away from Sagat.

The former Muai Thai champion pulls himself together and stands to his feet. He stares at Ryu for a moment, then unleashes several fireballs at him, Ryu slips through them with ease, and makes his way closer and closer to Sagat. Sagat waits for just the right moment and then unleashes his Tiger Knee Blow upon Ryu, but is shocked to see Ryu stop it with his hand, and proceed to hold him (Sagat) in mid air by his knee. Ryu smiles at Sagat and then throws him aside to which Sagat bounces along to ground and then rolls over a few times before coming to a stop.

Sagat cannot believe how powerful Ryu has become, and how one sided this fight has become. With his remaining ki Sagat summons the poser to stand to his feet and charge his Tiger Uppercut. Ryu stands aways away waiting Sagat's next move. The two charge foward at one another, leap high into the air, and both release their powerful rising uppercuts, interwining with one another, but it is Ryu's Shoryuken that lands across Sagat's chest, and up to his jaw, scarring Sagat once again, creating an "X" scar across Sagat's chest, and shredding his shirt in the process. Sagat falls to the ground clutching his new wound.

"How could this happen again?" Sagat says to himself

"I told you if we fought again the outcome would be the same." Ryu tells him.

"How can I hope to defaet a power such as the one you possess?"

"You have grown soft in your old age Sagat. Instead of training hard, you settled down and had a family (a wife & daughter) and in doing so you have changed. You used show off the scar I gave you as a symbol of pride, but now you cover it, and you've had you're blinded eye replaced with a cybernetic implant. These things have caused you to grow weak, and that is why you could not compete with me today."

Sagat lowers his head in shame, while Ryu begins to walk away.

"You know its not over Ryu! I may not be able to beat you, but someone can, and will, and when that day comes I will be their to see you fall! Do you hear me Ryu?"

Ryu stops for a moment, then turns and delivers a Hadouken to Sagat's face, knocking him uncconcious.

When Sagat awakes he is in a hospital, covered in bandages.

"Mr.Sagat? Mr.Sagat?" A doctor says.

"Uh..Where am I?" Sagat asks.

"You're at the Thailand Medical Center. You've been unconcious for over a week." The doctor replies.

"Ughh" Sagat moans.

"You were lucky that someone found you, and to have survived the beating your body took, we werent sure if you were gonna make it for awhile. You're cybernetic eye implant was heavily damaged, and we had to remove it to operate on you." The doctor tells him

"Hey, I recognize you from somewhere. You were in the third Street Fighter Tournament werent you?" Sagat asks.

"Yes I was, but that was a long time ago" Elena says "Funny, I dont remmember you being there." she adds.

"I had just had gotten married when the tournament took place. Fighting was no longer a priority. I did manage to see some of it first hand though, but can I ask why you are here?"

"In Africa, Asia and parts of Europe are in the middle of an epidimic from a disease which originated sometime in the past week has spread at a rapid pace. Ive been traveling throughout the three continents to help as much as I can." Elena tells him.

"Whats causing it? What are the symptoms?" Sagat asks.

"We do not yet know the cause of it. We only know that it infects those who have a weak body, those in top physical condition seem not to suffer from the disease. The disease seems to suck a victims energy, adrenaline, protien, or anything else that would keep a person active and strong dry, to the point where the victim be imobile, and can only wait to die."

"Sounds terrible, and if I can be of any help let me know." Sagat tells her.

"Uhhmm....Mr.Sagat I have some unfortuneate news. It seems that your wife and daughter have been infected with the disease." Elena says regretfully.

"What!?"

"They are in the next room over." Elena points.

Sagat sits up, and then gets out of bed.

"Mr. Sagat! You shouldnt moving around in your condition! Mr.Sagat!"

Sagat ignores Elena, and walks to the next room over to find his wife and daughter comatose. He walks over tohis wife and holds her hand. He then turns his attention to his daughter. Sagat runs his hands through her hair, and then kisses her on the forehead.

"Im truly sorry Mr.Sagat. I cant imagine what you must be going through right now." Elena says from the doorway.

"There must be some explantion for this, some cure, some kind of....(he pauses) their ki...." He says softly.

"What was that?"

"Their ki. Every living thing on this planet has a ki, a central force of energy. You're a fighter, you should know that." Sagat tells her.

"Yes, I was, but what are you saying?"

"Their ki, it is almost non existent. Something is draining it from them."

"Thats impossible, nothing or no one could..."

"Ryu..." Sagat says to himself.

"What?" Elena asks.

"Ryu or rather his power. Its draining the ki from everyone and everything he comes near. The "disease" does not affect fighters such as ourselves because we have such a great vast of power, but in time we will eventually become just like these victims. I didnt think the Satsu No Hadou was capable of such."

"The Satsu No Hadou? Thats the power the one named Akuma uses isnt it? But if Akuma has used it for so many years then how come this never happend before?" Elena asks.

"Ryu's power is much greater than Akuma's. Akuma could only dream of achieving the powe Ryu has now, and if Ryu that Ryu has fully succumed to the Satsu No Hadou Im sure Akuma is dead. Ryu must of encountered Akuma, and that battle is the result of what Ryu has become. Its almost as if their two ki's have become one. I wonder if Ryu is now the true extent of what the Satsu No Hadou is?"

"We cant let this spread any further. id Ryu mention where he was headed when the two of you fought?"

"I'd imagine he'd be heading to America to see his longtime friend and rival Ken Masters."

"As in Ken Masters the billionare? CEO of the Masters Corpiration?" Elena asks

"The very same. He and Ryu trained together and have been friends as well as rivals ever since." Sagat says.

"I must find him and stop him before his power spreads any further!" Elena shouts.

"Then you wont be doing it alone." Sagat adds.

"What!? You're in no condition to do anything."

"I'll be fine, and besides I may have lost my reason to fight years ago, but now I have a new reason (looking at his wife and daughter) to fight once again, so I can save my wife and daughter, and any others that may be harmed by Ryu's power."

Sagat and Elena travel to America where they hear about the next Street Fighter Tournament, and decide to enter in hopes of finding Ryu their.

Family Matters

Shortly after the Street Fighter tournament hosted by Gill, Chun Li adopted two children, a boy and a girl. Chun named the boy Yousitego and the girl Mayoke. When the two were old enough Chun Li began to train the two in the martial arts. Even though Youshitego and Mayoke weren’t related by blood, they were still as close as a real brother and sister could be. The two did everything together and were best friends, but when the two reached high school, they both found their own crowds and became a bit distant from one another.

Although Youshi and Mayoke hung out in different circles they were the two most popular kids in school. Youshi was well liked by all the girls while Mayoke had the attention of all the guys. Despite being popular with the opposite sex, neither Youshi nor Mayoke dated any one particular person for very long.

Not too long ago Youshi and Mayoke's school took a school wide field trip to Thailand. While there all the students enjoyed themselves, and visited many popular landmarks while learning a bit of history in the process. A few students even got to see where some of the fighting from the various Street Fighter tournaments took place.

After the trip was over, the kids returned back to school and then back to their homes, but Mayoke noticed that Youshi was missing when all the students got off the bus to go back home. Mayoke began to worry and thought that Youshi could of been accidently left behind on the way back from Thailand. Mayoke called her mother and asked her if she had heard from him, she told her that she hadn't. The two began to worry about Youshitego. Chun Li took some time off work to go look for Youshi and Mayoke went too.

There was no sign of Youshi for an entire week, Chun Li and Mayoke searched everywhere. When they had just about given up hope, Mayoke remembered that Youshi was part of the group of kids that visited the Street Fighter Tournament battlegrounds.

“Is this the place that he died?” Chun Li asks herself.

“What was that mom?”

“Oh nothing dear.” Chun Li replied.

“Hey look! There’s Youshi!” Mayoke yells out as she points out her brother who’s walking off into the distance. Chun Li and Mayoke run towards him shouting his name. When he finally turned around they could tell he was diffrient. Youshitego is usually well groomed and keeps his uniform in perfect ordnance with school policy, but now his hair was hanging down in front of his face, and all the buttons on his shirt had been torn off, letting the shirt fly around freely in the wind. When he spoke it sounded as if two voices were speaking simotamiously.

“The one you know as Youshitego is dead, I am Tenma.” Chun Li and Mayoke are surprised to here these words, along with the voice speaking them. As the words finish leaving his lips he begins to walk away.

Before he can take a third step Mayoke grabs his shoulder and says to him “You’re Yous..” and before she can finish the sentence his elbow slams into her stomach. Mayoke falls to one knee and clutches her stomach. Chun Li tries to grab him, but he easily steps aside and uppercuts her. When seeing this Mayoke becomes angry and begins to attack furiously, forgetting that her target was in actuality her brother. He dodges all her moves with ease, while carrying a devilish smirk across his face.

Chun Li watches the skirmish waiting for an opportunity in which she can get the jump her son. She knows that she must not let herself think that she is fighting her son, but an enemy that wishes to do her and her daughter harm. Chun Li sees the perfect chance when his back is turned, she flies forward with a graceful air kick, but before her foot makes contact, her target disappears into thin air, and Chun Li ends up kicking her own daughter.

“Mayoke I’m sorry!”

“Don’t worry mom, I’m ok. Where did he go anyway?”

“I’m right here princess!” Mayoke hears this as an arm comes around her neck enclosing her in a head lock. Chun Li’s eyes widen, but before she can do anything her enemy’s foot slams into her stomach.

“Let go of me!” Mayoke shouts as she throws her brother overhead.

Before he can land from the throw Mayoke is charging at him, but he simply smiles and palms her face when she reaches him, she tries to remove his hand, but he strikes her on the back of the neck rendering her unconscious.

“What has happened to you Youshitego?” Chun Li asks

“I told you Youshitego is dead. I am Tenma.”

“No! Youre Youshi, my son! Don’t remember me!?”

“No my dear I think it is you who does not remember me.”

Chun Li’s eyes get narrow.

“Don’t you recognize my voice? No? Hmmm, maybe you might recognize my Psycho Power!!!”

Tenma makes his fist glow with the energy of Psycho Power as Chun Li’s eyes widen to there fullest.

“Noo!!! It can’t be! You’re dead!”

“Oh, but it is my dear! Thanks to my new young body, I feel better than ever, and the fact that my host is your son makes it all the better.”

Chun Li prepares to engage Tenma, but he teleports and she feels the full force of a Psycho Crusher slam into her before she blacks out and is rendered unconscious.

In the aftermath, Youshitego is nowhere to be found, and Chun Li and Mayoke head home.

Chun Li tells Mayoke everything about her past, along with who and what Bison really was.

When news breaks of the new Street Fighter tournament, Chun Li and Mayoke both enter in hopes to find Youshi there and bring him back to his former self.

Scar Crossed Lovers

At MI6 Headquaters in England Lt. Cammy White sits at her desk fiddling with paperwork that is meaningless to her, until she feels a shiver run down her spine. A shiver she has not felt in many years.

Cammy gets up from her desk and heads towards the elevator. She slides her ID card through the elevator security, and then hits the button for the basement. The basement of the MI6 HQ houses various secrets that is unknown to most MI6 opritives. Once in the basement Cammy heasto a section that houses several criminal inmates, one of these is Vega.

Years ago Vega rescued Cammy from a Shadowloo base, but before doing so he used Bison's psycho drive on himself, hoping it would make him more powerful and beatiful than he already was. Later Vega dropped Cammy off on the footsteps of the MI6 building, however unknown to Vega the effects of Bison's Psycho Drive were beggining to take effect on him. In the later Vega became deranged/crazy and began to stalk Cammy. The Psycho energy which Vega had absorbed also took their toll on his appearence. The evil and darkness that lay with inside him began to reflect itself outward making him ugly and grotesque. Vega went on a killing spree and killed only those people he thought were beatiful (everyone except Cammy) and became a new age Jack The Ripper. He was eventually captured by Cmmy, and locked away in MI6's HQ.

A gaurd accompnies Cammy into Vega's cell. Vega is balled up in the corner of his cell wearing a straight jacket.

"Vega!"

"My pretty Cammy, how long I have waited to see thee."

"I have no time for your babble Vega. I know that Bison is back, and I know you do too. I know you can tell me where he is."

"Why must Cammy find the ugly one named Bison?'

"As long as he lives I cannot sleep at night, I cant live knowing he's out there planning to ruin and end the lives of the innocent."

"Bison would only hurt my pretty Cammy, so I cannot lead you to where he be."

Cammy walks over to Vega, picks him up, and pins him to the wall.

"Listen to me you rhyming freak, tell me where he is or I will kill you!"

"Such a lie, I know you dont want me to die."

Vega then licks Cammy's face.

"Ugh!" Cammy screams in disgust.

Cammy then proceeds to hit Vega several times.

"If you wont help me, then I'll find him on my own." Cammy says while leaving.

The guard begins to walk out.

"Oh guard cant you see how I bleed"

"Huh?" The guard says turning around.

"Come, clean me of the blood I bleed."

The guard pulls a hankerchif out of his pocket and then proceeds to wipe the blood off Vega's face. Vega smiles at the guard.

"Wha?"

Vega kicks the guard in the jaw, and then does a spin kick hitting the guard in the back, causing him to slam into to the wall, and knocking him unconcious. Vega then runs out of the cell and escapes.

Cammy hears of the new Street Fighter Tournament and enters hoping to find Bison, and Vega follows her there, but before the tournament starts Vega has cybernetic implants built into his arms that allow him to release and rectract claws out of each one of his hands, and he gets his old mask back as well.

In a hospital somewhere in Asia a man awakes from a coma. His head is pounding with a terrible sensation running throughout his brain. He sits up and gets out of his bed feeling a bit shakey as he makes his way through the door and into the hallway.

"Hey look!"

"He's up!"

"Somebody get him!"

"What's he doing?"

"Freeze!"

"I have no time for this." the man says aloud

He then jumps out a nearby window, and swings around an alngled flagpole as if he were a gymnast, and lands himself on the hospital rooftop.

"What has happend? Where am I? And what is this power I feel, is it my own? No, its ki, but not my ki, its a very dark and powerful ki, but what is this other powerful ki I feel? The one ki feels like.......and the other......the other is........"

Life Changes

Shortly before the second Street Fighter Tournament Sakura Kasugano graduated from High School and started college. There, she met a fellow student named Koishii, who developed crush on, and later fell in love with. Sakura and Koishii dated throughout college, but Sakura always felt that Koishii was unhappy and wasnt telling her something. Sakura later found out that Koishii, was suffering from an uncurable disease that would eventually kill him. Sakura then wanted the rest of Koishii's life to be happy, and wanted to marry him. Koishii refused her offer at first, but when he found out she actually loved him, and dint just want to marry him out of pitty Koishii gladly accepted her offer.

In the short time they were married Sakura became pregnant, but unfortuneatly Koishii died before their child was ever born. Several months later Sakura gave birth to a son who she named Tenshi. Sakura switched back to her maiden name after Tenshi was born so that she wouldnt be reminded of Koishii so much, but she still sees Koishii whenever she looks at Tenshi.

After college (and having Tenshi) Sakura became a PE/Gym teacher at Tayio High School, but she wasnt earning enought to support herself and Tenshi, so longtime friend Dan Hibki offered Sakura an assistant instructor postition at his (successful) dojo, and Sakura gladly accepted. Later Dan's Sayiko Karate became the official fighting style of Tayio High School (Tayio asks that their students learn some form of the martial arts) and Dan's buisness became more popular than ever. Dan would also help Sakura in raising and teaching Tenshi, and became affectionatly known as "Uncle Dan" to Tenshi.

As of now Tenshi has grown quite a bit, and is a freshman at Tayio High, but his (male) friends and (male) fellow students make him uncomfortable at times, because they all comment on how hot his mom (Sakura) is.

On his journey Mel Masters came to stay with Sakura and Tenshi for awhile. While there Mel was determined to learn as much as he could from Sakura (and Dan) but when he wasnt training he would offten hang out with Tenshi and play video games. Mel developed a bit of a crush on Sakura, who could tell he did, and whenever she could she would innocently flirt with Mel and try embraress or make him feel uncomfortable at times, just for fun (but Mel wouldnt know that)

A few months after Mel left Sakura recieved a call from him alerting her of the situation with Ryu, and the upcoming Street Fighter Tournament. Sakura left for America immediatly and left Tenshi in Dan's care, but when Dan relized that the next SF tournament would be great for plubicity, he decided to hop on a plane to America as well. He left Tenshi to take care of himself, as he knew he could. Tenshi desperately wanted to go, but his mother told him he couldnt. Tenshi became bored sitting around all alone at the house, so he got his life savings together, and headed for America as well.

Sold Out

At the US Martial Arts Championship, the two finalist prepare to battle. One of the challengers has won the championship several years in a row. His name, Sean Matsuda. The challenger has no idea of what he's getting himself into.

The challenger starts off by throwing several flashy moves at Sean who avoids and blocks them with ease. Sean's teacher Ken Masters would've knocked out the challenger with a single blow, but Sean likes to savor what he can from his fights. Sean lets his challenger think he's getting the upper hand and then Sean unloads a right cross upon his face, then puch to his stomach, followed by a shoryuken which leads into a hurricane kick, sending Sean's opponent flying out of the ring, making Sean the champion once again.

Ken retired as the reigning Champion years ago. Sean was never able to beat him, and felt bad that he was never able to become the champion while Ken was still competing. These are the least of Sean's worries though, because by his fellow fighters Sean has been branded as a sell out, endorsing on company that would sponser him, and putting their corporate logo on his gi, making him a walking advertisement.

When Sean hears of the next Street Fighter Tournament, he believes its the perfect oppurtunity to prove to the world that he is a great martial artist, and not just a sell out.

A Helping Hand

In a remote part of Brazil, the man known as Blanka lives in a small hut along with his mother.

One day while Blanka's mother is cooking, when suddenly she collapses. Blanka immediatly rushes to her side. Blanka dosnt know what wrong with her, but knows something is wrong. He quickly puts on some clothes to try and hide himself, and takes his mother to the hospital, but leaves before anyone sees him.

When he returns to the hospital Blanka finds a longtime friend of his Sean Matsuda, at his mother's bedside.

Years ago in Brazil Sean was an orphan, but Blanka's mother took him in as her own (while still searching for her son) and she became like a mother to Sean. Years later when she found her son Jimmy/Blanka, Sean greeted him as a brother, and the two were like brothers ever since.

Sean had traveled to Brazil to see his adoptive motehr before heading to enter the Street Fighter Tournament, but unfortuneatly she had fallen ill, and he found in the hospital.

Sean hears and sees Blanka sneak into the room.

"Hey Jimmy, its been awhile." Sean says

The two hug one another. Blanka then goes over to his mothers bedside and holds her hand.

"The doctors say she is suffering from a heavy dose of radiation poisoning. They dont know whats causing it, but I think I do. Jimmy at some point and time your body became exposed to heavy doses of radiation, and caused you to look the way you do, after years of being around momma she was exposed to the toxins in you on a daily bases, and is now suffering from it. I never caught the poisoning because I wasnt around you as much as she was, especialy after I left for America. Do you understand what Im saying Jimmy?"

Blanka nods his head with a saddend look on his face.

Sean puts his hand on Blanka's shoulder.

"Its gonna be alright man. They can cure her, but its gonna take lots of money. Thankfully I've got just the ticket. There's a new Street Fighter Tournament coming up, and the prize is a billion dollars, and with that kinda money she can surely be cured, and plus they may be even to cure you to Jimmy." Sean tells Blanka.

Blanka looks at Sean

"If we both enter then that will double our chances of winning, so whaddya say man?" Sean says while sticking his hand out.

Blanka shakes Sean's hand and smiles.

"Alright America here we come!"

Sean and Blanka both head to America and enter the next Street Fighter Tournament.

"Okay, then whats your plan hot shot?"

"Alright, stick with me on this, we.....hey wait a minute, where's Cody?"

"Wha? He was just here a second ago!"

"That son of a bitch, how the hell did he escape?"

"If he could of got out of here that easily, then he could of escaped from this prison anytime he wanted to."

"I guess you just cant keep the fight out of that guy!"

Cody escaped from prison (once again) and was making his way downtown, in order to get in on some of the action in the next Street Fighter Tournament.

Suprises

Longtime martial artist, and popular action star Fei Long sits at home enjoying an evening with his wife and kids (a son & daughter) but this is all interupted by a phone call.

"Hello?" Fei Long says answering the phone.

"Hello Fei Long."

"Who is this?" Fei Long asks.

"Nevermind who this is. You may have heard of the next Street Fighter Tournament that is being thrown together, and Id like you to.."

Fei Long interupts "Listen if you want me to compete, my fighting days are over, Ive retired. I have a wife and family who I love, and hwo loves me. I need nothing else."

"You should of let me finish. I am the one that is hosting the next Street Fighter Tournament, but I want everyone in the world to be able to see it. This is where you come in. I want you and a crew film the tournament, with your knowledge of fighting and filmmaking I know there is no one better for the job. You may choose to enter the tournament if you wish. I know that you've been having some financial trouble lately, and I've already wired a heavy sum of money into your bank account. You can keep the money if you do or dont do the job, but I know you Fei Long, you're a man of character, and wont accept any money unless you've earned, so go earn it."

The caller hangs up, and then so does Fei Long.

"Ken, who were you talking to on the phone?"

"Oh nobody Eliza, just an old friend, whos gonna help me out with something."

"Well, you shouldnt be making phone calls in your condition. Ryu gave you quite a beating"

"My condition? A beating? HAHA!!" Ken laguhs. "Im fine, I only wanted everyone to think I was in critical condition." Ken says leaping out of bed and pulling his bandages off. "The contestants at the tournament are in for quite a suprise!" Ken shouts raising his fist into the air.

I already have the stories for all the other characters (who appear in my SF story) planned out, but havnt written them yet, but when I do I'll add them.

STREET FIGHTER NEO: SCHOOL'S OUT

Taiyo High School

"Hey isn’t that the new guy?"

"Yeah, that’s Mel Masters."

"So he's the one that won the Street Fighter Tournament"

"Hmph, he doesn't look soo tough!"

"Hey he's pretty cute"

Mel is making his way to the office to pick up his class schedule but is quickly cut off by another student

Taiyo Student: So are you the lucky punk who won the Street Fighter Tournament?

Mel: Please move.

Taiyo Student: Make me tough guy! Come on make me move Mr. Champion!

The student keeps pushing Mel, but Mel does nothing

Taiyo Student: Come on wuss fight back!

The student takes a swing at Mel, but Mel easily avoids his punch and slams his knee into the student's stomach, and then grabs the student by the hair and slams his face into a nearby locker

"Did you see that?"

"Yeah, that looked pretty painful."

Just then the school's principal walks up

Principal: What’s going on here?

Taiyo Student: Ugh! Oh man my nose!

Principal: Oh I see. All right everybody get to class, you go see the nurse, and as for you Mr. Masters, you stay right there.

Everyone leaves the hall until only Mel and the principal remain

Principal: So Mr. Masters you haven’t even started your first day, and you've already been in a fight. I can easily see why you were kicked out all the other schools you attended, but I admire your spirit.

Mel: What are you trying to say?

Principal: You seem to think you are a great fighter, and I wonder will you do me the honor of fighting me?

Mel: What!? Why should I do that?

Principal: If you do, I'll be willing to forget about this incident, and I wont expel you, so are you ready?

Mel: I guess I have no choice.

The two stare at one another for a moment and then engage. Neither of the two land a single blow on the other until the principal nails Mel with a punch to the stomach.

Mel: UGH!

Principal: You are too head strong.

While still bent over the principal's fist Mel smiles

Principal: Huh?

Mel: I win......SHORYUKEN!!!

Mel delivers a powerful shoryuken to the principal’s jaw sending him flying into the air and landing upon his back.

Mel: You were once the same way.............Batsu.

Batsu: That’s Principal Ichimoji or Mr. Ichimoji to you.

Mel: Of course

I thought everyone should get the chance to read this baby

That's a really good idea. They should redo SF 1 ,SF Alpha, & SF 2 with all new art and combine the storyline's into 1 game!!!

I dunno, to me it feels like that whole Alpha series is complete. It doesn't feel like the Capcom now is the same Capcom as back then so who knows what we'll end up with.

You're never gonna see SFA4!

Sorry to all those who wanted it, but Capcom made an official announcement sometime ago that they'd never be doing SFA4, MvC3, CvS3, or another version of SF3.

Oh and...

Capcom already has dozens of SF4 concepts so anything you guys or anybody comes up with is pointless, because they've already got it planned out, and nothing anyone says, posts, or does outside the company is going to affect SF4.

(thats why I didnt do a SF4 concept, and why I never pitched an SF4 concept to Capcom, becasue I already knew they knew what they were going to be doing with SF4)

Good to see you back TAS.

Thanks for the info. At least there will be a SF4,

You think they are going to continue Gill and his organization's storyline?

The last time you talked about SF 4 you said something like this:

One of Capcom's SF4 plots involves someone from within The Illuminati depowering Gill and brining fourth the Apocalypse. Then a tournament is held to decided the fate of mankind.

They were telling me one of two things would happen, either Ryu would be the only returning character, or 1/4 to 1/2 of the cast would be returning characters, and Ryu would be the only pre-SF3 character, ie character designed before SF3, to return (so dont expect anyone from the SF1, SFA, or SF2 cast, aside from Ryu to return)

Also SF4 will take place around whatever year its released to expect the returning chars to look diffrient sicne SF3 took place in 1999.

News & Rumors:

Capcom is indeed making another Street Fighter game, but no word has surfaced if its in production or even pre-production for that matter, they (Capcom) are keeping a tight lid on it (after what happend with SF3 when they leaked out news too early) and the project has some sortta code name, its not called Street Fighter 4 (or whatever) its called "Project X" or something like that, which is common name used when making a game (or anything for that matter) whos name you dont want leaked out, so all people know is that Capcom is making something under the name "Project X" at the moment.

"So what makes you think Project X is the next SF game?"

Well Capcom wont comment on it at all, nor will they admit that exists, one person was ever fired (or so I heard) from Capcom for talking about it.

Another thing that came up was a design sketch of an older Ryu surfaced awhile back and it seemed to be official, but Capcom came out and said it was a fan art, which would be the perfect cover up if they were trying to keep the game under tight warps.

"What did the (older) Ryu sketch look like?"

Well I saw a pic of it, but it was soo light and such a bad quality pic I could barely make it out, but from what I could see it looked as if Ryu could have an updated look to/for his gi, there were three diffrient gi types shown on the pic, and the only other noticable things were that Ryu's hair was a bit longer (almost shoulder length) and it looked like he hadnt shaved in awhile, he didnt have a beard, he just looked a bit more gruff or scruffy looking. I'll probaly draw the pic myself from memory, so you can get a better idea of what Im talking about, and I'll upload it when Im done.

Thank you TAS !!!!

"Is it true that SNK's Mark Of The Wolves was derived from the original concept of Street Fighter 3?"

You'd figure if it werent true the producer would of just come out and have said "No"

News & Rumors

An old rumor

"Ryu will be the only returning character from Street Fighter 4"

You'd think Capcom would of learned their leason from SF3, but I dont know anything other than that he will be in SF4 no matter what.

Well as I stated before it seems that Capcom is currently working on SF4, but they also have concepts on the drawing board for another Darkstalkers game, another Rival Schools game, and another Power Stone (plus an all new Mega Man to boost, but thats kinda old news)

Oh and dont expect for SF4 (or the next Darkstalkers game) to be 2D.

The idea or possibity of another Marvel vs Capcom has been completly crushed, now that Activision owns the rights to make all Marvel games up until 2006, and the fact that Capcom has shown no intrest in doing any other Marvel game, and I dont blame them, cause at this point in time trying to get the rights to the Marvel characters is more trouble than its worth.

People, please. We need to move on from the pre-SF3 characters. HOWEVER; I do think we need a series similar to the Alphas. Another 2-game saga that finally puts an end to the stories of our favorite pre-SF3 characters that fits between SF2 and SF3. And then when SF4 finally comes out and it can continue off of 3rd Strike.

Well you can finish off the pre-SF3 chars stories without having to go between games. It can be done with a game set further in the future.

Capcom also has plans to never do any more inbetween SF games.

And something that I think ALOT of people dont ever relize but need to is that character stories do NOT have to be finished off with(in) a game.

For instance Capcom is thinking of doing a SF book (kinda like the All About books) where they are gonna have the complete history of the SF timeline and all its characters, filled with tons of info and pics, ie they're planning on finishing off alot of character's storylines with this book, so they dont have to ever deal with those chars again, and people can have resolution with them and stop complaining about bringing them back.

And then when SF4 finally comes out and it can continue off of 3rd Strike.

Okay, but dont expect many SF3 characters to return.

Awhile back one of the SF producers said that Ryu would be the only pre-exisiting SF3 char to return in SF4, and only a few (like 3 or 4) SF3 chars would return, ie the SF4 cast would mostly be all new chars, just like from SF1 to SF2, and from SF2 to SF3 (mostly all new characters in each sequel)

Yeah, it has been the trend, only Ryu and Ken are the charecters featured in all the SF games. But if SF4 is going to be about the Apocalypse (or whatever Gill talked about) then I guess some SF3 Characters will return... (At least Urien, Gill and Alex)

I just hope that if there are a bunch of new people in SF4 they hold the same magic over us that the oldies did. Btw, that SF Neo story is awesome, is there a place where I can find the rest of it?
