I just got SFAC a week ago and MANY times when I win the first match the other person quits and then refuses any additional matches. Its driving me up the wall.
Anyway, if any of you guys see me on please challnge me so I can play instead of quick matching with the same people who won't play. I am usually on the in mornings (7:30am Eastern) for a bit and at night around 10pm.

What does it matter which fighters he is using? You use CE Bison on me and split. Wassup with that? And YOU'RE from Jerzey fool. You can't treat a fellow Garden Stater like that homie. That's just wrong.

What does it matter you say? let me give you my opinion ( and most of the people i have talked to on live)
If i play someone who only uses CE Guile ( or just about any other pre Super Street Fighter ) i will let them win the macth and then leave after. I only use SSF Turbo fighters because they are the most balanced. CE fighters are so broken its not even funny, they do so much damage and can re-dizzy you way to easy.
And the special moves they have also do more power.
I have noticed alot of people with good records i.e. almost a 90% winning % only use CE or Turbo fighters. And they only use them because they know they have a advantage when they they use them, they seem to need that extra help to win.
I used CE Bison on you to prove a point, that when using CE fighters a person can win without any skill because of a over powered character. I used two moves over and over and you couldnt stop me because of the imbalance of that character.
But hey, im not telling you who to play with, im just telling you i choose not to play those type of poeple.
My friends list is full of awesome players who whoop my ass, and we play sometimes 30 matches in a row. But i know they are beating me by out smarting me, and not because game imbalance.

What are you smoking? SSF2T characters the most balanced? Since when? Last I checked, Pre-SSF2T characters didn't have super meters. Super meters were the begining of the end for SF2 in my book. I play mostly HF characters because THEY are the MOST BALANCED. To say that it's unskillful to beat someone with those characters is straight noobness. What else? Throws are cheap? Get real.
BTW, you didn't prove anything by beating me with CE Bison. You simply proved how much SF knowledge you have. Next to none.
Hit me up again so I can beat you with SSF2T Blanka and we'll see what your excuse will be then.

There are a few legitimate reasons to stop playing an opponent after only one match:
1) They constantly sing or swear into the mic at high volume.
2) They constantly use a *really* cheesy tactic (SF2), like tick throwing... Over and over and over again.
3) They pick Akuma (SF2) everytime.
And I'm sure there are a few more... But quitting on someone based on which version of a character they play might be pushing it a little, IMHO.

And the winner of the scrubiest post goes to this guy. Get over it. CE character can be beat if you know how to play the game. People need to quit making excuses for a loss and just except the fact they cant handle some shit in the game.

Dang, once again Jersey is causing controversey. Can't we all just get along? Besides, we all know I'll mop both of you two (Grey Fox 316 and 10,000 Volts) by any means necessary. Hell, being in the same state, we can also (gasp) meet up and throw it down in real time.
Frankly, it disturbs me that after 15 frickin years that people are still crying about tick games. If you can't handle ticks, go play DOA or something else. No one wants to hear the whining. Counter it or get off the game, end of story.
I take people head-on with Turbo Balrog and Turbo Chun, well aware that there are some matches that I can't win. I also use ST Honda, and go for the Ochio slam at any opportunity. Talk to Murderapolis for the throw by throw rundown of last night. (GGs last night Wes!) If you want me to play with just ST characters, that's fine. Tell me over the mic.
Here's what I will do on Live by request of the opponent:
- Pick the same character if I win
- Stick to one version of the game character
- Pick a funny color
- Stop beasting on an opponent after I win x amount of times
What I will not stop doing no matter how much you bitch:
- Tick throw
- Throw in general
- Crossup
- Attacking
- Turtling
Remember kids, this is Street Fighter, and anything goes. If you can't handle a simple walkthru crossup with Turbo Balrog, then I can't help the fact that you aren't wisening up to it.
Maybe tonight the rest of Jersey can see my greatness. To quote TFGM, "Until then..."

So, when are the Jersey Live players going to understand how the hierarchy works? It goes something like this:
Lethargy01
JetPhiX
Real Decoy
Zeruel99
Everyone else from Jersey
While the order of the top four players might be up for debate, what we need to see is some of the other Jersey people showing it up. So stop slumming around looking for the weaker prey; try to add us to your list and arrange a time to play us. Play a set of "first to ten wins" and go with whatever character switching rule you want.
We are better. Prove us wrong.

*Please note that this challenge is for NJ vs NJ matchups only. We know other states have better players and I'm not shit-talking other states. Just trying to step up the comp from this state whatever way I can. =P

Ioooo Bolts: HF characters are most balanced? ROFLMAO.
Seriously. You need to check the damage scaling and understand that HF Ryu, Blanka, Ken, and to an extent even Bison are VERY VERY deadly because the game engine is suited more TOWARDS the OLDER CHARACTERS. Who has an advantage when HF characters play ST? HF of course. Why? Because you can't land from throws, for one. Second, most of the Hyper Fighting characters remain stringent to their counterparts from the old days, meaning there were really no "bad" characters in that version except for maybe Dhalsim, and even he was not horrible. His normal moves were weak, but his throws were his money game. Granted CE characters and WW characters are stronger in general, but come on, get your head out of your ass on this one and realize how the game engine is better suited towards older characters.

Dream, let's clarify...
HF characters when compared to themselves are more balanced. Street Fighter 2 Turbo Hyper Fighting as it was called in the arcades is THE most balanced SF game IMO. Camparing HF characters to ST characters is silly. I did not do that. I was referring to the HF cast solely.
Again, let me be clear: Street Fighter 2 Turbo Hyper Fighting is MORE balanced than ST. Period.

Ok, and let me address something that seems to be bothersome to everyone in this universe regarding HF.
ST we all know is mainly counter characters.
HF is basically Ken/Ryu and in some instances HF Blanka dominating. That is how the tourney scene in the US worked. Mainly shotos. Couple Sagats here and there, occasional Bison, dilapidated Guile; etc. If you can tell me how shotos don't straight up own the hell out of HF in the USA based on the tourney scene here, I'd love to hear it. Sure, Guile was a shadow of himself and could still compete, but come on. Balance? No way. That's a huge misconception.
ST, as counter oriented as it is, is the DEFINITION of balance. EVERY character is good in that game to some extent. EVERY character has a problem against individuals unlike HF.
Now, to make you look even sillier in your argument, you said HF Blanka loses to CHun-Li.
To anyone that does not know, HF Blanka has a trap vs CHun-Li (any version) in the corner that you can NOT get out of. If you know about this, since you seem to know HF so well and have been "playing SF SINCE DAY ONE", then you will be kind enough to let the fellow SRKers know about this trap, thus making your argument null and void.

You know, the other day I was messing around with my old VCR and I found a feature that I never knew existed. I had the damn thing for nearly 10 years and just recently I learned something new. Go figure!?
That being said, even though I stated that I've been playing SF since day one, that doesn't mean I ever claimed to know EVERY single thing about all of the SF games including HF. To this day I'm still learning new things. While I respect the point you're trying to make in claiming that ST is a more balanced game than HF I still beg to differ.
Here's why...
1. How is ST more balanced than HF when practically the entire game is a counter character fest? I thought balance meant parity? Explain the option for blind picks in major tourneys then? If it was so balanced, blind picks wouldn't have even been considered.
2. While HF is not a perfect game either, at least I can pick a handfull of characters and know that I have a chance right out of the gate. If I pick Blanka in ST and you pick Honda, its game over for me.
And yes, I do know of Blanka's traps but keep in mind that a trap is useless if it can't be implemented in battle. Hence, Chun Li owns Blanka in every other aspect of that matchup IMO.
If you have a gun in your pocket and you attempt to shot me with it but I deny you the opportunity by punching your lights out before you even pull it out then you know what I'm talking about.
So tell me again how my argument is silly?

I0000 Volts: Whatever you say, keep believing your own words. Parity MAKES it a BALANCED game, right? SO that makes ST BALANCED since there is more parity, UNLIKE HF which is not. You contradicted yourself.
ANd at least in HF you can pick Ryu/Ken/Blanka like the other people you mean? Easy mode.

Will you please listen to yourself Dream. HOW IN THE WORLD is ST more balanced when tournament directors are are giving players the option to do blind picks? You're not making sense.
HF is MORE balanced beacuse at least you have the luxury of picking a few characters and be able to compete WITHOUT having to do a blind pick. Simplae as that.
Contradicting? I think not.
Anyway, we disagree and that's all good. In the end, there's nothing wrong with that.

At least DreamTR understands my point.
Im not talking about throws or combos, im talking about balance.
They hit alot harder and their specials have a higher priority then the ST fighters.
the same combo with a CE/WW/HF does just about twice the damage was a ST fighter.
thats called a handicap
