Hello, I am Hanzlore, I thought I was good in S3 but never really played champ S3 players. I went to the arcade and beat a really good Akuma player with my Alex. Then He used his amaizing Oro. I was juggled to death by a combo-juggle that I didnt think was possible. He won.... by perfect.

Since I am a cool guy i went up to my opponent and said "WOW! that was so cool" and we got to talking and he said I should join the forums in Shoryuken.com. I believe his name was "Ken"

Anyways.... I was wondering if there were any players here who plays in RUSH arcade in Richmond. I would like to play with more opponents to see what i can learn from them and have fun practicing and playing. (playing the computer gets lonely....)

on friday nights every week at about 10pm - closing

some other decent 3S + tekken players also appear pretty frequently at nighttimes. that place is a dead as JZees during daytime tho.

i go there like every the other night to play 3S

Yeah, it totally nullifies Pink Sean's ability to never get stunned... I got stunned TWICE by Pink Necro.. Sean's still faster and stronger than normal Sean tho... wow.. i guess the power of Pink Necro and Sean are just too much for the game to handle, so it makes it more fair by taking away some advantages of Sean's...

I MIGHT pop by next Friday for owning up some Tekken scrubs.

Official place to play 3s my ass. JZee's will always be the hot spot for 3s, mainly cause i go there.

Pink tourny is a bad idea. Lets leave it at that. we all know Pink Sean looks the most powerful in pink.. there's no reason to pick high tiers vs him.

oh, and about the hot spot thing, UBC for CvS2, Random guy's house for ST and Tekken 5, JZee's for Marvel, JZee's for KOF, and finally, CHQ for Street Fighter 1.

as for 3s, ppl only go to movieland cause they like playing on faulty equipment, they go to Rush to play with Mazdak, and they avoid JZee's, cause they all know i own them for free with Sean. awww yeah.

This is Hanzlore again. I am glad you guys replied. I went to JZee's for the first time there to play 3s, I guess I really DO need more practice with the veterans. I did manage to impress the guy who beat me.... heh...heh....(slowly sighs)... anyways, I would really like to meet and play with some of you guys who go to rush to play 3s. That is the only way for me to improve my game. pls do not be too quick to ignore me when I loose and ask for advice.

I noticed there are a lot of ppl who play 3s at rush who are not as friendly as I would hope them to be.... I played with some asian guy and I accually won. As I was gonna ask how ge did a cool combo juggle, he got all evil eye on me and stared me down. Ofcourse I had a big happy smile that I am sure he wanted to step on.

i'd be tempted to say that i'm the guy you played (i use yun too) but i haven't been to rush in months. it's probably gumby, or if not then it's some guy we don't know lol. if it was gumby don't worry he always looks mean lol he's a really nice guy tho

anwyay if you want competition just go to jz's everynight around 8-9 pm. i'll be playing there before work (yes i work graveyards at 10pm). that goes for everyone too.

I just got back from Rush. Played with Nanitaberu and co. I must say I did put up more of a fight this time. even beat his pink Sean.

then.... he used his "Oro". very challenging character to beat. Do you guys have any tips to beat Oro?

(oooh the infomous standing mp launcher to Oro's leapping double step attack etc etc.... to super juggle)

i used to go to space rush arcade friday/saturday nights but i really haven't been doing so lately. we went on saturday night though.

i'm just wondering, have you played often before? and do you have friends that also play?

i'm more of a serious marvel or cvs2 competitor, but according to illusion of oasis.com... i'm ranked #4 in BC as far as third strike goes hahahahaha, and that's pretty accurate i would say.

i actually don't know that much about the game, but i do know a number of combos you can do. and yeah, i get scared when i play at rush too cuz i go alone, and i NEVER give seconds hahahahaha

i'll gladly play with you. i also like to give out tips. moreso on strategies. i believe that you don't need good combos but good skills in simply playing the game.

and keni's best guy is his chun li. she is a hard bitch to beat. but his oro is very good too. to beat his oro, you have you watch out for roundhouse pokes. and he always gets you with some random parries that totally change the momentum of the game. sometimes, just don't try to attack. i dunno what else to say. try to download match videos and i'm sure these guys here will direct you to some good sites and watch them. and then, play with players crappier than yourself and also players better than yourself to test out the shit.

Here's one really good piece of advice: If i ever start talking strategies with you, and someone tells you i'm wrong or suggests something else you can do instead of what i told you to do, they're wrong. I'm always right... regarding 3s atleast.

Accually I did play against Tariq. I was there on friday at 10. Tariq joined in and raped us with his Urien. DAMN! haha. I did bring my digi cam though and recorded the matches I had with Tariq.
So now I know how to do the shoulder ram juggle in the corner with Urien.

Yesterday (Tuesday) I went to rush again and met Gumbi for the first time and played his Yun, I lost $2.50. damn that speed of his! Yet again I was abble to record the match and review it at home.

Next time we meet I shall defeat you guys! mwhaha.
