So, who's playing "Devil Within"?

for a bonus game, it's pretty tight, I'm having a good time with it....but then, I dig puzzle games.....

graphics are pretty good.....it doesn't feel like it was just 'thrown in' for completeness sake.......

lol I think you're the first person I've seen that's said "Devil Within is ok". I've yet to play this sub game, but I don't have a high expectancy so I may actually enjoy it too.

Ugh. Motion sickness galore. And sometimes you can't see where you're going or what you're hitting. The auto focus (L1?) is a hit and miss affair -- yes it will point the camera at the nearest opponent; no it doesn't mean you can see it.

Once you get used to the headaches from moving the camera angles, you realize you know how to actually use them.

Once you learn the game a little, it's really not...that...bad.

I only played it to unlock Devil Jin, that's about all the value the game has, unless you play it through to get lots of G again.

I didn't know until after I had beaten it that you had to unlock StarBlade in that game too, and I had to play long-ass Level 4 all the way through again to get it. :\

basically, I'm not saying I love it.......I'm just saying, it's good for what it is.......

I've played tougher platformers, and to unlock the shit, it's necessary, but meh......if you don't like it, I understand......more or less, it's a necessary evil at the least......

I have NO idea how I got it. I think I played a hell lot of arcade mode.

Point is, you do not exactly NEED to play devil within. Only if you want the 1,000,000 G from beating it the first time, or the evil symbols which you trade in for expensive items that you get for going through stages the second time.

As far as Devil Within, it was kinda cool for about 4 seconds, then I realized it would just be more enjoyable to play Tekken 2 on Ultra Hard and actually try to live through that shit.

i blew through it twice for the free items. game is simple as hell once you figure out the thunder godfist (square+circle) is broken as fuck and owns everything, including bosses.

mute the tv, put your own music on and get through it. it's worth it if you're into the items.

Yeah thats what I was about to say.

I've never played it because people were saying how bad it was. So I started leveling up my players and I didnt even realize I had Devil Jin and Starblade.

It's like a (really) toned down DMC. Double jumps, targeting, combo/style points, devil trigger. Though I've never played it, my roomate is managing to go through it one stage every few days.

don't think I'll be playing through again, anytime soon.......fuck that....final boss is such shit......
