Hello people. Im new to shoryuken.com and im new to fighting games and all. Im from montreal and I play third strike a lot.

I was playing competitively on quake 3 but now there is no fps games interesting so im playing fighting games. Im not going to arcades really often but when I do I go to Mira or 2000. I hope to see you there.

Last time I went to amusement 2000 there was a guy like owning me so bad, fullparying my 2nd chun lee ' super special ( even parying the down medium kick ) lots of time and my friend's level ones SP. I guess we are still pretty scrub since we only started 6 months ago. I can do anything I want with the ps2 controler and im starting to get the touch with the arcade's joystick.

You know what? 80/100 of my third strike playing time is in the trainning , practicing combos :S

Lol parrying supers isn't really hard I dont play 3S and I can parry most of the supers includin Chun's SAII, of course doing them in a match is a totally different thing :confused: -JD- stop beastin man....

Hey no thx I won`t play source , its not my type of game. I can full parry some SA easily also, like ryu ` s shinkuu hadoken and akumas. I can parry kikoushou and stuff but I have to parry the first hit , thats the challenge lol the rest is easy :P. But the probleme with Chun lee`s 2nd super art is that there is 3 ``first hit`` :S

We might be organizing a huge tournement in around a month that will be all console.

games like whatever you guys would like, prlly tekken prlly sc2, nhl, halo or rainbow six, nhl, nfl, fifa and maybe even some poker in there. If you guys are willing to have a console tourney in would be a great environmenent with much more poeple than in arcades and it's gonna happen in a bar so no worries about feeling like a twarp in some dudes house. alccol, music

Hey can you stay a bit later then that? Ill be at 2000 friday between 5 and 8pm. Im an easy scrub to beat but at least I don't stop playing even if I lose 75 games (I stopped after 80 game lost last time LOL) heh , thats how you get better I guess.

BTW I play third strike only. I have to concentrate only on one game since I started to play fighting games only 6 month ago.

To whom it may concern,

The MAT III DVD should be ready for distribution by next week, those who asked for a DVD already have their copies reserved. I'm trying to set up a day where everybody can come see me at 2000+ and get their copy. I think mailing them to people in Montreal is kind of useless since I see them at the arcade.

I was thinking next Friday at 5pm and for those who can't I can be at the arcade Sunday at 6pm. If you would rather have your copy sent via snail mail just let me know, that can be arranged.

I'll finalize when and where I'll be to give the DVDs sometime by the beginning of next week so just check back in this thread for updates.

yes, MTL can pick any rep they want. Remember this is on Jpn sticks at Orbit. If someone can't play to their full potential on Jpn sticks, then they should let someone that plays good in that situation in. I know FreddyLoco already said he has trouble on Jpn sticks, if it was US sticks, he'd make a team for sure. I know you play well on Jpn sticks. Maybe you guys could come a day early to practise?

if chelsea wins, everybody will be riding jose mourinho's ass forever and ull see more counter attack minded based teams....its turning into a guranteed win forumla, look at the recent winners of major european soccer tournaments: Porto, Greece, and Chelsea is winning the english premier league for sure.

If Ac Milan wins, then that will make for a certainely very boring victory, see 2003 victory vs juventus

If one of the two underdog teams wins though, that will be a breathing sign of relief for soccer, and I certainely hope Liverpool wins it all, I think Milan is gonna take it, just cause their team (minus Crespo) is too beastly.

It's almost like a bad dream, traveling a great distance and knowing you are a better player but losing to people you shouldn't lose to if you were playing under normal conditions.

Everybody has seen p-groove in action already and probably knows it's most common and obvious set-ups. However, Alex is not your average player and he is solid with his p-groove team (with parry's or not). I not quite sure why you accepted this match, maybe you don't know Alex like some of us do. Does the word hustler mean anything to you?

I know you get upset very easily and maybe you are just typing all this talk shit in the heat of the moment or something, but maybe it should wait until after the match is played.

Last thing, can I ask a small favor? I work from 6-3 tonight so can you guys do the match tomorrow (Friday) so I can watch? I'll be in the area after 4-5pm tomorrow anyways.
