whenever someone drops on me, its at the K.O. screen, but whenever my connection goes out it it does it after it shows the grade and charactor pic (and instead of the retry screen i have to stare at the background for 40 secs). so my question is- if my connection goes out, do i or my oppenent still get the win?
and to all the ppl this has happened to (not much) i apologize.

As far as I know, as long as your victory shows up on the upper left/right corners of the screen (right as you K.O. an opponent for a match win) then your win is legit. Even if your opponent (or vice versa) is to drop in the final round as they're getting K.O.'d, the win will go in the victor's favor. As long as you see the win show on the upper corner of your screen, then you should be straight.

Anytime someone doesn't accept a challenge when they are hosting is considered a drop. :wow:

This can't be true, how can it be considered a drop if they aint played ya? My understanding on HF is that when someone quits mid match (intentionally) then that is a drop and both players lose the game on the rank system...if there is a connection problem and the game is interupted you also lose the game but that is not a drop because it was not intentional...
