Here are the prices for the group order form with shipping from Korea included. I figure we would go with SAL delivery it is the cheapest and I believe they get here pretty quick as well since it is air mail.

I have provided an order form below, fill it out with the parts you want. Once it is filled out Copy it and send it to me with your PAYPAL pmt. Once I recieve the PAYPAL confirmation I will post on here what you ordered. This will provide a guide for Laugh and myself to use to keep track of items.

The reasons for the weights is so that you can figure out what your postage cost will be for US shipping. I will use USPS Priority mail with Delivery Conformation. Delivery Conformation is NOT optional, I need to be able to track your order!

Also there is a $4.00 admin charge. This is going to cover packing materials, other costs, Paypal fee, and admin funtions of putting the orders together. Keep in mind I'm parting out a huge order and I'm probably going to spend a whole day putting the orders together and then another day at the Post Office. Also I figured that if you were to place a small order from Korea to here you would pay double this amount in shipping alone.

****THE LAST DATE YOU CAN PLACE AN ORDER IS MAY 15, 2005****
May 16, money and items list will be sent to Laugh for parts!

PRICES:

-Any Fanta and Crown stick: $8.50 each + $5.00 (to cover shipping from Korea)= 13.50 (Weighs 8 oz)

-Crown snap-on and snap/screw on: $1.00 each + $.15 (to cover shipping from Korea)= $1.15 (Weighs 1 oz)

-Small buttons: $1.50 each + $.15 (to cover shipping from Korea)= $1.65 (Weighs 1 oz)

-Illuminating buttons: $2.00 each + $.15 (to cover shipping from Korea)= $2.15 (Weighs 1 oz)

-Microswitches(w/ or w/o metal prongs): $1.00 each + $.15 (to cover shipping from Korea)= $1.15 (Weighs 1 oz)

-Sticknara Joystick $35.00 ??? Need to get exact price from LAUGH and also how much it weighs so I can figure out what shipping to the US would be. (Weighs ??) :xeye:

Can we get discounts on the buttons if we buy in bulk? Like if we buy 50+ Crown snap ins or 50+ illuminated. Thanks.

Math on the sticks is wrong. 8.50 + 5.00 = 13.50.

Yeah, you can for 50+ Crown buttons. I'm giving $.20 away, and that'd be $.80 each instead of $1.00 each, without shipping. As for the illuminating buttons..hmm, give $.20 off also for 50+ illuminating buttons at $1.80 each w/o shipping. I didn't think anyone would get that many illuminating buttons at once.

The order form doesn't load for me, EJM. Thanks

I need to get the Price, weight, and shipping. To figure out what to charge. Need Laugh's info for it.

Ok, the price is like someone said about 30 bucks, to quote the website's admin "it weighs 2kg - 2.5kg for the PS2 9cm-tall stick," and the shipping to get it to me would be free if I have more than 2 orders for any stick they sell at that website. If I only have 1 order for that website, then the shipping to me is 3 bucks. The weight should tell you how much international shipping cost would be. Thanks

So, how much is shipping for the stick alone? Sorry, not sure.

Okay I just figured the price for the Arcade Sticks Laugh says they are $30 and it weighs 2.5 kilos (5.52 Lbs) shipping from Korea to here would be $37.00. So the price of these sticks comes to $67.00.

Edit: I also corrected a couple of the mistakes.

Hello, I am very interested in buying a couple of the Sticknara joysticks (1-4) and a couple spare Fanta joysticks and Crown buttons. I was just wondering a couple things that I hope you can answer for me...

First of all, how much would it be total for just 1 Sticknara joystick with the shipping included? Also, I was wondering if someone could tell me which kind of button (snap/screw) is used for the Sticknara stick; it seems that on the other thread, Laugh was talking about the performance of the Crown snap on button being better than the screw on? You want us to copy the form filled out and send it to you how?

That's all the questions I have for now and thanks for all your work trying to get us Korean arcade stuff.

Edit: Just for reference, when we're talking about a Sticknara joystick, I'm assuming we're talking about this Sticknara.com Versus Stick (http://www.sticknara.com/product.html).

I'll let Laugh answer about the sticknara stick. But I believe the buttons that are in it are cheap knockoff buttons, not real arcade buttons. As for shipping check the order form and folow the shipping steps.

On the order form, Copy it and fill it out and then send it to me with you PAYPAL pmt. My email and paypal is stevedjm@yahoo.com
. The Paypal pmt is what confirms your order. Then once it is confirmed I will post everyone who ordered and what they ordered.

Ok, I see a little confusion in some recent questions. I'll try to make this sound VERY clear this time.

As for the sticks, EVERY complete Korean stick I know of on the internet use Fantas. That's given.

Sticknara Versus sticks they are selling right now like this one (http://www.sticknara.com/product.html) are made with all GENUINE Crown screw-on arcade buttons. And I find those buttons they used on the current sticknara sticks to be just as good as the snap ons, and these Crown "screw-ons" are actually both snap and screw on. I'll just keep calling it "screw-on" for clearity purposes. I think what EJM was confused with was my OLD sticknara stick from 3 years ago when they used to make them VERY differently. The new ones are for the PS2 and for the PC(LPT port) at the same time by default.

Sticknara is partners (or the same owners of) with Gameprice.co.kr, as you can see that URL on sticknara.com's front page. All their sticks are sold at gameprice.co.kr, and right now they're having a special sale on slightly scratched ones in the storage for whopping $25, and the regular price is about $40. I'll notify everyone as soon as the ones on sale are out of stock. Hopefully it won't happen for a while. I'm waiting to hear the exact weight of this thing. My old one was aout 2kg.

Stick.pe.kr sticks use , I think, the same Crown buttons as sticknara sticks. These cost about $30 each on their website, and one thing nice about their shipping is that it's free when you order more than ~$50 at once. Of course that's the shipping to me, and that'll saves about 3~4 bucks for you guys.

Add $10 for my work on each complete stick, which ever you pick.

gameprice.co.kr (sticknara store) has the USB dual player converter for 10 bucks. It's just a PS2->USB converter that lets you plug in 2 controllers. It supports USB 2.0 and comes with an installation CD. They're saying USB 2.0 support eliminates any lag on this page.link (http://www.gameprice.co.kr/shop/shopdetail.html?brandcode=006003000003&search=&sort=order)

Just to recap, the cost for the complete sticks will go like this.

website price + shipping from them to me (likely 4 bucks, but free depending on the website and the quantity) + $10 for each stick for my time + international shipping + EJM's shipping

Thanks

aight so the wooden stick would be like

$30 (website price)

$4 (me and thyalmighty can order 1 each in group, free shipping here possibly?)

10 (fee for you?)

37 (international shipping)

ejm's shipping?

so around 81 or above right?

Right. And if you are talking about the wooden looking stick from stick.pe.kr, then the free shipping for 2 or more stick holds, so that's -$4.

and yeah that's the fee for me for each stick. EJM's shipping is to send the sticks from EJM -> you guys. Or are you guys just group ordering on your own, the two of you?

but anyway i guess i'll wait for ejm to update his order form to include this stick. cuz only sticknara is on the form right now.

once that's updated, i can send paypal and form

Right, 4 bucks off if you order 2 or more.

I just want one for myself, but with the 4 dollars off?
Ok, so you are just buying it on your own, right?

To get the 4 bucks off, you have to order 2 or more of those wooden sticks. So unless your friend orders one also to make it 2 sticks, the 4 bucks will be there. Then after you've made up your mind about exactly what and how many you want, PM me with that information, your address, and payment through paypal. That's how

Is it clear now?

DanSC - MDF is a type of wooden material.

Ditto.

I think the overkill was the international shipping... but what else is new? I mean, I was going to give Laugh major tippage, but the price suddenly got out of my price range. Luckily, I have a week to see if I can manage some PayPal cash. Looks like I'll have to part with some of my order. ;_;

Yeah but this is a group buy. The whole point is that they should be able to ship them all over at once to save money. Instead it seems like were paying to ship each one over indivually. But I'm new here so what do I know.

laugh

Shipping kills, expecially long distance international ones. But 1 freakin complete stick isn't gonna cost $37 for shipping, I'm calculating each stick at 2.5kg according to the stick website, and SAL delivery (cheapest of air deliveries) spits out about $30 bucks for that weight. The group order would surely reduce some of that shipping. But you also have to realize that it does cost a lot to ship a 5 pound package.

Here's an estimate for SAL (0kg - 20kg). At max weight, which is 20kg, it says it costs ~$150 US for that weight. 20kg / 2.5kg = 8. So that's 8 sticks. $150 / 8 = $18.75. If the group order were to have 8 sticks and each one didn't weigh over 2.5kg (obviously can't go over the max weight) then there's the int. shipping for each stick. Eight sticks would cost more than 200 bucks in value, which means tax. So I gotta try to go around the system and write, say.. $180 or something like that on the package.

Regular air delivery has the same max weight at 20kg, and they charge about $135 at 20kg. But the regular delivery starts to beat SAL's price at the 14kg mark. Anything heavier than 14kg, then regular air delivery has a better deal.

EMS will be the fastest but cost more than both of those, so I'm not gonna even bother analysing. oh yeah, EMS tracking works with USPS once it's in the States.

ship delivery (an actual ship) costs a lot less the heavier it gets. 20kg = $50. I have no idea how long this one takes, but my guess is that it's probably long.;)

It's your money. The group idea would definitely help for international shipping since it saves quite a bit to send 1 big heavier package than small individual packages.

There. So much drama for EJM's estimated shipping cost. I can punch in the numbers, he can't. Everyone should be clear on exactly what each shipping options are like.

Edit: You should try pluggin in the same numbers on Fedex, UPS, and DHL international rate calculator for 1 joystick to S.Korea. 30cm x 20cm x 9cm , 2.5 kg, valued at $30. Gogogogogo

I'm Actually done with the group order!
I've gotten too many people thinking that I'm trying to scam them out their money.

This is not the case. Everything I did I tried to do as honest as possible. I took the shipping quotes provoded by SAL and USPS applied them to items via their weight. I did round up in weight because not only does the item weigh but also the package and the materials.

The $4.00 admin fee I felt was justified b/c if we do paypal, paypal does charge a fee for their service. Not mention the packing materials I have to buy and the time and effort that went into putting this together. Yesturday alone I spent about 3 hours non stop answering emails. And I still had more to go through. This was turning into a full time job.

Again I'm sorry if people felt I was trying to scam them. I can honestly say this wasn't the case, I tried to do everything as honest as possible.

If someone else wants to take care of the group order they are more than welcome, it is too much work and drama that I don't need.

Since I've noticed that a lot of people that bought the Korean sticks played Tekken, I thought I should be able to test the stick's performance for Tekken, especially WD and LD.

Well, since I'm no Tekken player, I asked around and researched a little to know exactly how WD/LD were performed and what it looked like. I turned on my PSX and put in Tekken3 yesterday to practice some WD and EWGF on my Fanta.

I got some head bouncing from Jin after a few minutes, and got a confirmation from a Tekken player that what I was doing was actually WD. Here a vid of my 1-day-old WD (http://laugh25.com.ne.kr/WD-ish.avi)

So if anyone doesn't mind, I'll test each stick on Tekken and cvs2 for few minutes and see if I can do different motions well. If you don't want me to touch your stick, let me know so I won't touch it.

On another note, I've found for sure that Fanta HAS to have quick clicking microswitches to work nicely. When I say "quick clicking" I mean microswitches that click really fast after you press little as possible. SOMETIMES, 1 of the LG microswitches on the Fanta will click deeper than normal, throwing off the execution when that specific microswitch is involved in the command. I'll also check for irregular microswitches for each stick and replace the bad ones before I ship them. I got some spare microswitches on my hand. Is that cool?
