Why do most of the ss rank and s rank guys suck like no tomro?

i played like 4 people who use sa 1 chun spam over head lol

about 2 alex who ex over head everytime lol and couple of really sucky urien and kens.

i forget who i had on my smoothcat list that was good at this game but please post so i can add u guys its getting boring as hell :sad:

There are about 20 or so really good players on live, another 20 who are decent and everyone else pretty much sucks. If you are looking for good comp, add Shaaady, xxDarkTienxx, NAME GOT TAKEN, Sabre SRK, Dream Theater, Gl0ry, Gimme Dem Shoes, CloudKen, Onyx of Tek, Marvin XII, Lukesballs (not sure if he plays anymore), zeroG6 (same for him) ... just to name a few, to your friends list. ^I only included United States ppl, there are some really good Europeans out there but connections can be iffy.

Don't pay attention to letter or number rank. I've played some sick ppl who were ranked B's. There are alot of S and SS players out there who are a complete joke. When you go to challenge them, you get declined over and over, even by people you've never played, if you are high on the charts and or SS/S grade. These ppl only play scrubs to pad their records, and if you play them they either a. Drop, or b. leave immediately after losing and will never play you again.

yea i've murder a few ss people then they quit....at first i was confused on how the got that ranking then i notcied that they all dropped on me and that sf:ac doesn't keep track of drops and shit like other xbl games....i've only played like 2 people from here online and they were pretty good.....i'm ok online but since i'm not putting my quarter in the machine i'll do some random shit that gets me fucked up....like trying to parry through a button lag....but who gives a fuck it's all casual anyway

generally speaking the rank doesnt matter. But, when you see a SS that is like 999 or some shit then you know they either A)wont play you, or B) are going to spam a whack ass cookie cutter Urien, (all shoulders and entire gameplan is throw into Aegis corner), or trashy Ken (ZzOMG KEN HAS HP uppercuts and air hurricanes).

but its funny cuz when i first started playin this game as a low rank, i would get challenged by alot of ppl ranked in the low hundreds or even tens, but they all were horrible.... beyond horrible.... now i got my rank up allittle i get challenged by a different set of high rankers... ones that have some skill... coicedence? i think not lol

I want to go, but I'm not sure I will be able to. The best player in our group, Tj (SFmaniac43), can't make it because his parents (he's only 17). Plus the guy in charge made it pretty clear there will be no consoles, and I only play w/ a Sega Saturn pad.

Evo is a different story. My rich sister wants to go, so we are going there as a vacation of sorts. I just turned 21, so I can gamble and drink and shit, so it'll be worth the trip just for that.

Actually I take it back. We played today and you are pretty good. Better than most on live in fact.

I'll admit I play pretty scrubby and the main reason is due to lag. If I beat you once and left it's because it was lagging too much. That's the only reason unless I got a friend invite.

It's comments like that which show how seriously some people take this whole online play thing. Even a good connection is still not as good as offline play. Like I said before, the only reason I would have to leave after the first fight is either if it was lagging or because I had a friend invite (or if you were just that crap at the game, lol). Who was I even using in the fight? I don't even remember. :lol: That's why I don't even like playing online...cuz u get people talkin stuff like this and treatin online play like it's something special. It's just...damn...
