umm imaginevc do you even play 3s. CvS was hella fun for a long time, but that shit has passed. In 3s and Hyper people actually rematch. Besides CvS was fucking ruined by the OMG C GROOVE ONLY OK players imo. Not to mention the EX grooves like that other guy was talking about.
Tight game yes, but the (online) competition simply went down-hill like a year ago.
One of the main thing that sets AE apart from Cvs is that you cant character abuse. Fuck, how whack is it to play Cvs only to see your opponent pick combinations of Sagat/Bison/Cammy/Blanka/Vega/Mai each time you play them?

First to 5 wins,
you're not even worthy of dissing cause you don't know what you're talkin about. there is far more abuse of every kind in 3S than in CVS2. *ahem* throwing *ahem*
and you complain of people using C groove only? (which is not true by the way) what about 3S? there's only one type of groove and that's called Pussy groove.
KneelB4Me,
oh yes i have.... it's called Kamping Ken.

Umm wouldn't the response to hadoken hadoken shoryuken in 3S go something like... parry, parry, air parry X3, punish? Did play enough to figure that out?

rolling kills cvs2 for me... i've seen some people pull some seriously retarded shit with EX/EO but you can always play arcade rules to avoid that. RATS are everywhere and it was hard for me to really improve my game at all, since 90% of the time i was playing i was just waiting to throw someone out of a roll...

even i got to step in on this. the roster in 3s is tiny as is, and all you see online is Ken, Akuma, and the occasional Ryu Super III. so you can charecter abuse. and the tier difences in 3s are WAY worse than they are in CvS2. the only thing in CvS2 that is truely broken is sagets fierce. and even that is beatable. play a person who is a master at useing Ken, and try to beat him with anyone else other than Ken. not happening, cept maybe Chun Li... but just to say, im not bashing 3S, its cool shit, just not beter than cvs
First To 5 Wins

Oro kills Ken, imo.
The way i see it, is that any character can beat any character in 3s, it depends more on the player. Just using xbl examples, look at what some of the guys are doing with Necro, Dudley, and Alex. There are no char that you can just pick and win with imo.
The tourney scene or w/e is most likely all about ken/chun/yun, but that isnt my scene, so i wouldnt be the one to really comment there.

yeah loffter's got my back
there really isn't much abusing in CVS2 cause there is a roll to punish people who abuse certain moves (also good against campers, if you time the roll correctly)
but those that abuse the roll will also get punished so it doesn't go unnoticed.
see, you just have to know how to play CVS2 and it's a much more balanced game than 3S.
3S is abuse-nation.
just admit it, 3S is only like 10% of what CVS2 has to offer.
now convert!
LONG LIVE CVS2!!!
oh let me add that CVS2 takes much much more skill to play.
there are so many different characters and grooves that you constantly have to change your playing style and this, my rookie friends, is true skill.
where as in 3S, you can play the same way against everyone
