View Full Version : Makoto Infinate Combo

So i was thinking, does this seem unfair to anyone else? All she has to do is land Karakusa and (if she has enough meter) its game over. I cant use Makoto myself and I know its a difficult combo to pull off but it still feels wrong.

It's not an infinite combo. She would need an infinite amount of bar to be able to do it. The combo you are referring to is more than likely a 100 percent combo (meaning at the end of the combo the opponent is dead). I'm not sure if it kills every character, though characters with weak defense like Akuma and Ibuki will more than likely die from it. It's a balanced combo though becuase the timing and execution required to pull it off is pretty hardcore.

You'll more than likely never see anyone do it online and can consider yourself pretty lucky if you do. Even in an offline tourney battle Makoto relies on EX a good amount in her offensive game so a lot of the time she won't even have the bar to do the 100 percent combo. Especially considering the damage she can do off of one super is already adquate.

I've heard alot of people say there is a glitch with that combo on the consoles, where the final Fukiage turns into an mp Hayate, even though they clearly press jab. I think it has something to do with the first kara fukiage, but not 100% clear yet.

It *MIGHT* help if you checked the 3s strategy section, in the makoto forum, and read the first post in the thread called "ALL ABOUT MAKOTO/READ THIS FIRST".

Lol what the heck? I didn't even know this thing existed =) It doesn't seem that hard either =P And with the way I play Makoto, getting meter won't be a problem =) XD :badboy: :badboy: :badboy:

Trust me, it's way harder than you think it is. Even the Japanese have trouble pulling it off 100 percent. Pulling it off online will be near impossible with the delay (even in a "good" connection). Oh and if you're a good Makoto player you'll be using that meter at some point any ways. In other words, the opportunity to use it won't come up enough to make it a big part of your game.

It wouldn't hurt to try it though :lol:

i've seen the japanes player J do it a couple of times on a bunch of people. in real match once you get caught with the karakusa>hp>SAII>dp>dp it's like %90 chance your gonna be stunned cause usually you already have a little bit on your stun meter already. i got a vid where J stuned Q with the combo and Q only had like about 30% of his stun meter and the first fukage stuned him. it moved it up like 30%; freakin rediculouse.

Top tier theory fighter right there.

And if you're building bar that fast, it probably means that you're rushing down. Which will naturally put them at the other end of the screen. If not in the corner. Your logic = teh fail.

Well, if you've gotten them that scared to retaliate, there's always cross up jump mk on their wakeup...and if you've actually rushed them down to the corner based on your actions alone, you're probably near stunning them anyhow~

Edit: Don't feel like waiting 240 seconds, so Jin: You don't remember correctly. If you're talking about the double perfect round, J does a different combo. Close, but not quite. Karakusa, st.fp, SA2, dash, fp.uppercut, jumping rh. That combo does ~95% stun against Ken.

J did it in the SHIRUBE 2 tournament against Kokujin (if i remember correctly)
