Hey guys well i just got finished building a box for an arcade stick. I haven't drilled the holes up top yet but when i do it won't ruin the paint. Anywho just posting it unfinished so i can get some feedback on the paint job and craftsmanship. hope you all like it. i worked pretty damn hard on it. :tup: O byt the way i'm selling a pelican universal pcb board. if anyone is interested pm me.

I see that the top is inset, and I assume it is for lexan. Is the inset 1\8" ?

well actually i sanded it...primed it..sanded that..primed it 2 more times...3 flat coats...and 5 laqcuer (however u spell it) coats...so i used a whole lot of paint

Well i finally finished the whole box art, plexi, buttons, and stick. all thats left to do is to do the guts of it. I'll update some other pix later one. But here are some pix of what i've done. Its about 70 percent done.

Also, don't forget to mount the pad somehow. I wouldn't leave it hanging loose.

Thanx again guys. Naw i alraedy mounted it down...for some odd reason its a 2 part ps1 dualshock pcb board. Why? i have no freaking clue...boggles my mind as well. But i glue gunned one piece down and screwed the other one down..so its pretty reinforced. I've started on another one. I hope this one comes out as good as the Alex one. Anyone interested in future purching let me know. I don't charge as much as other stick makers. heh. But anyways I'm up for any criticism. I want my shit to come out gooood. Alright i'm outtie. laters

Hey guys i've started 2 new boxes. The smaller one is for a customer but the big one which is 16X12 is more than likely going to be for sale. I'm not going to paint it or drill holes or anything. Jefferiah yah i'm pretty busy right now making two boxes. I should be done with them in about a week. Cause i got summer school and shit. But hopefully after that i'll be able to start on yours.

Naw they won't. Well i haven't mapped out the buttons yet but more than likely imma do another American style button layout. So i'll edit if i have to. This is going to be the final art. Hopefully i wouldn't have to edit too much. It is going to have red buttons and a red stick.

correct me if i'm wrong, but from looking at it, i'd assume that the buttons are going to obscure the heads of the characters and probably eat into their torsos. The joystick would fit nicely into the glowing area though.

If it does turn out that way, you could probably just flip it horizontally and the buttons wouldn't obscure the characters much.

It looks damn good, but I don't like the girl on the end with the angel wings. She looks too cartoony. It is either her breasts or her face but she doesn't fit in with all the other characters.
