@ dducktm: get better/closer shoes of the heels. you don't want your heels to be worn out. also make sure they are coming with the brown laces as well. brown laces on hunters look better, and if his aren't coming with them its not like its easy to find hunter laces...(they're different from any other sb laces)

So after years of slacking off on it I decided it was time to complete update my clothes. I have been wearing mostly 3 button shirts, and T-shirts. I know it sounds boring but it looked good and it's Texas, its hot here, I'm married so I didn't need anything overly stylish anymore because I didn't have much money and I wasn't looking for girls anymore (yet they still step to me anyways). Plus all the clothes money goes to my wife anyways since she always has “nothing to wear”. Damn you have a closet full of clothes and your clothes take up half of my closet you still have nothing to wear? WTF?!?!?

So I went out to the mall this weekend to update my clothes. First stop Abercrombie and holy fuck I could not believe how unbelievably gay everything in there was. I mean seriously homo looking. And someone explain to my WTF is up with the tore up jeans for $60? Fuck if I wanted tore up jeans I have at least 3 pair still sitting in my closet and I know I didn’t pay $60 for them. Fucking joke that place is.

Next Stop Pac Sun. I found some pretty nice shirts there and picked them up. Not just T-shirts but some nice button down shirts that look good with or without anything under them. And I managed to avoid all of the flaming Skull and “SK8 4 Lyfe” stuff.

After that Dillard’s and I didn’t find a god damn thing there other than 1 pair of jeans. I’m pretty picky about cloths because I know some colors look like shit on me and I hate anything that has stupid designs printed on them (skulls and shit)

I got fed up with the mall and left. My Wife decided she wanted to go to place here in town called “Lot 8” to pick up some stuff for her. It’s run by the Vietnamese girl who is a fashion designer. We met her at an event here and talked to her for a while. Apparently she is famous and was on some American Idol like show for fashion designers. I have never seen/heard of it. Well I go down there and sit while she tries on some clothes and I was sort of looking at what little bit of guy’s clothes she has there. She only has just one little wall of guy’s stuff and that’s it the rest of the whole store was women’s. So I’m looking a little bit and the next thing I know I hear “long time no see” and look over and there is the fashion designer standing next to me (and she’s really really cute too) . We talked a little bit and she helped my wife wind some dresses and other things. She asked if was getting anything I said “Na I’ve been looking at stuff all day I can’t find much that I like.” I think she took that as a personal challenge because stared me up and down for a second then grabbed a bunch of shirts and said “try these”. The shirts she picked out looked great and made me look even better. She got me hooked up really good.

I guess the mall sucks for clothes these days. Anybody got any suggestions for good places to pick up some stylish shirts and pants these days?

some shit that's cheaper might be express, banana repub shit like that, but be careful, the quality isn't as high and shit won't last long when you wash it, wear it often but if you're not hustlin, just take care of the shit you buy there and you'll be straight (mostly speaking for gap and express not so much banana)

Nike SB is the nike skateboarding line, it includes dunks, air trainer 1's, blazers, e-cues, dunk his, and p rods, and a few others. The difference is that dunk sb's have stuffed tongues and are higher quality material with better colorways, they also have nike air cusion which regular dunks don't have. Then there is GR dunks or 'General Release', these are the dunks you find at journey's, shoe depot, etc. GR dunks have a flat tongue(no stuffing) and are made of
basic material.

Dunk SB's are limited to skateshops.

Air force 1 is well, you know what that is, AF1 are there own seperate line and they look completley different, different styles/colorways are considered quick strikes/hyper strikes/ or GR.

That should clear it up, if you go to nikeskateboarding.com they have all the shoes ever made for the SB line.

Niggas dont really know anything about bape besides what they see on tv, that it's so exclusive and how limited the product runs are. They have no idea how much legit stuff really costs, so they just pick up whatyever 70 dollar shit they see. The retro 3's aren't coming out for a while so rest assured for now. If it's gonna be a general release like the Mars IV then no camping, just show up in the AM to your local footlocker or w/e. Limited style release you might want to camp, the grapes are going to be a L'style, so they will be a bit harder to get if you don't either camp or show up when the store opens. The thunder and lighting pack that just dropped(yellow IV, and blk/yellow IV packs) where online releases only, so that's self-explanitory.

It depends on your city also, some cities have more urban accounts and so on.

Edit: As for finding a sold out shoe, youre best bet is to check the bay, if not there ISS(instyleshoes.com) they have the best shoe marketplace. Niketalk is good too, but people tend to charge a ton on NT.

Very impressive stuff, but imo it's easyier to just buy the hoody then sew the fabric on, there is a wide range of fabrics to choose from, my choice had to wise.

What i did is just cop zip up hoody from walmart(all black), then got my 4 yards of my fabric, I started today on it and it's doing pretty good, I was going to machine sew it but my mom said it's going to look better if I hand sew it so w/e.

Right now I'm working on the back piece, then im doing the front piece[1], then sleeves[2], then hood[1]

i don't camp for anything purely because i know people that help me out should i not be able to get something.

when it comes to old releases your best bet by far are legit forums like niketalk and iss. stay away from ebay until you feel confident in your ability to tell, and ask for pictures to prove, what's fake and what's not.

for new releases, as far as camping goes it depends entirely on where you live. if you live in a big city, you'll need to wait in line early in the AM, not necessarily "camp," for even general releases. unlike sainthuey said, a LOT of people had a hard time getting the mars IVs at retail despite the fact that they were general release. labeling them a general release means nothing.

when it comes to limited jordans (i.e. l'style,) if you want them for retail you need to do a little work. call around every local store/shop that you can and ask how many pairs they're expecting to get/have a lot of people been calling for these/etc. etc. until you can get a small idea of how the release day will go at that store. you may need to literally camp if you're in a big city and the release is very hyped (grape Vs) but that's in extreme cases.

for the retro IIIs, and i'm assuming you mean the to-be-released ones, just do what i said above. the month of their release, call around and educate yourself on your area and where the possibilites lay to get a pair. either that, or make friends with someone that you know will get you a pair for as close to retail as possible through a favor, trade, etc. etc. good luck.

The only thing I'm picky on is getting polo shirts. I just don't like them very much. There's also the option to wear scrubs but it just seems like a waste of closet space.

Just hit up ross and get a dress shirt for like 10-15, ties are like 5-8 bucks(real nice too) and some slacks and decent shoes, not that hard. Or just wear the scrubs you can get them like anywhere, I would wear the scrubs, less clothes to put on.

only way to tell if a bape hoodie is fake is the zipper, everything else is 99% identical, sure there is the lining, 2 patches on the front of the hoodie, and design pattern/color, be honest though, unless you browse NT or ISS then you can't tell shit for real. Bape lost a lot of credibility w/ fapes though, they still got some good designs but for me I'm moving on to other stuff.

I have but be very careful where you go. One place cleaned the hat on a mannequin head or something like that so it wouldn't shirnk, while another place didn't do that, and my hat came back tight as shit.
