yeah, i'm pretty much done with sb's this year, unless i cop something from early 05 and back. honestly, when you compare 06 sb's to previous year sb's, there's a lot of difference. cooler concepts, materials, etc. eire's and send helps would be ok with me if they dropped in the same year as a ton of sb's with cool colorways and materials, but this year thats not gonna happen. all of the releases minus the hawaiis are pretty drab IMO. nothing exciting me too much this year besides the invisible woman air force ones, the ronaldinho air force ones and those multi colored chomper bapes.

adidas went and made thirty five different styles of shoe none of which had a run higher than 1000 iirc.

on top of that they got this adicolor shit going on, they just dropped the white series and the first edition of all other colors (the black with the scribbles looks hot btw). they're running some sort of design campaign where people get an adicolor and design them how ever they want, winning entry gets 25 pairs in his or her size and 25 pairs on sale worldwide, with royalties going to the winner lol

If you're going for color you should get supreme highs. I like the baby blues myself since I already have a bunch of shoes with orange on them. But spring/summer is here and you can't really wear highs with shorts so that would kind of suck.

well i had sold my hunters awhile back because i wasn't feeling them anymore. i tried to clean them last semester or so and i (my dumb ass) used a toothbrush and TOOTHPASTE on one of the checks. HUGE mistake. made one of the checks lighter than the other. of course it was the outside check. so i sold them for like 140 i think (which is actually great because i wore them AND messed them up lol and they're only worth about 180 ds). i'm gonna cop some more hunters though...i wanted to get a new shoe that i hadn't had before but its ok. ds hunters are good...not really a summer shoe (more like a fall IMO) but i'll make it a summer shoe.

the bad part is that its yet another shoe i own with orange in it. i don't even really feel orange but i seem to gravitate towards it for some reason lol. =/

GR = general release = regular flat laces, no fat SB tongue, just a general, regular dunk.

SB = released at selected skateboard shops with a fat skateboard tongue, zoom air insoles, fat SB oval laces, more cushion. designed for skateboarding.

NL = no lining, which means that there isn't any cushion on the inside, just the leather/seude that shows on the outside

PREMIUM = limited release, usually rare and priced above everything else (duh)
