^if you're talking about sbs and you want OLD (read: earlier than the last 2 season's releases or so) ones you have little choice besides high priced sites like PYS and vintagekicks.com .

as far as new releases and other recent sbs you have a few choices.

skateboarding supply sites like ccs.com , activemailorder.com and skateparkoftampa.com are the places to go for new releases at the best prices. because they're legit and well-known skate shops you need to be quick when a new, hyped dunk is released because these sites will sell out fast.

you can try legit overseas shops too. they usually have slightly higher prices but often have free shipping deals or cheap shipping in general (trustnobody has free shipping right now, fyi.) try grandism.com , caliroots.se , trustnobody.es for starters.

the best option for anything would probably be message boards. issforums.com , niketalk.com , hypebeast.com and nikeskateboarding.org are good places to find stuff.

rule #1 when collecting rare shoes is to cop first and ask questions later. never pass up a nice pair of shoes because you're not sure what to wear with them. that could come back to bite you hard.

not everyone lives in asia though or feels like waiting. i got the money so why not? unless you live near a spot thats selling these shoes, and unless you're willing to camp out for 3 days or so, or even a few hours if you're lucky, then you can't complain about reseller prices. if you want some of the older, hard to find shoes (hard to find because of limited numbers) then you're going to have to pay a lot unless you have a delorean sitting in the garage...

What type of shoe is it? The material matters.

For most shoes I do a little laundry detergent, water, and toothbrush. For white's I'll add bleach. Try to wipe off any stains/dirt as soon as you see them so you don't have to clean them too often, because the toothbrush will mess up your shoes over time.

Those shoes are fabric/mesh, as a former shoe store manager I'd recommend a gel cleaner, but it really really depends and it's hard to tell from a stock picture. I would try soapy hot water before applying any chemicals, and then when you get it clean apply a water proofer since that material doesn't look stainable.

Do you guys waterproof your shoes? I waterproof suede but most of my other shoes I don't bother.
