this has been bothering me for sometime, i'm kidna in the dark with what teams are top, mid, and low.

i think there should be tiers for anchor, user, and battery for every groove excluding s/k, in w/c it's just whose good in those grooves

(Actually, I think in C its best to start Sagat and Cammy aint that good in C, you can play with a vast array of chars like Ken, Akuma, Honda, Yamazaki... anyone with good RC's and or lvl 2 cancels)

A - Todo and Athena are pretty damn ridiculous.
P - P anyone with good bnb is good, Sagat parrying into a c.short or s.jab or s.strong is all bad.
S - Havent seen so much S getting played, but S Athena is fuckin crazy annoying.
N - I just dont like N groove.
K - who cares who you pick in K, the buff just get buffer, even when gettin punched in the face.

combination of roll, run, and semi stored super. rc command grab is really buff.

i think the best a groove team is probably a vega sak blanka, that team gives everyone problems.

c, just for cheapness is probably c honda sagat blanka, that team is hella cheap if you can rc like crazy. rolento teams are good too. c sagat rolento blanka 2 is also really good.

p-probably kyo sagat cammy 2

s-idk something with cammy r2

n-iori, sagat, blanka owns

k-geese, sagat, cammy 2

Morrigan would not be included on any top N Groove team, even buk would tell you that. Infact Buk has said that.

Guile can be really buff in C-Groove. Some pretty good teams are:

Guile, Ken, Sagat (2)
Guile, Chun, Sagat (2)

Morrigan isn't all that good. She has to work way to hard to score damage, and she takes too much damage. If you want to win with Morrigan, you have to have a really strong mixup game.

In my opinion, the one team that does well in any groove is Cammy, Blanka, Sagat (although K makes this team REALLY buff, and it is pretty weak in A).

I think that list is pretty much perfect minus N-Hibki. Not that she is bad in N-Groove or anything but Chun in N groove is much more scarier. Low jump adds to her rush down and mix up alot and having plenty of stored lvl 1's makes her beastly.

^Totally forgot about Chun-Li, she's definately one of N-Groove's finest.

I'll only do the grooves I'm familiar with:

C- RC Honda/Chun li/Sagat2

A- Sak/Blanka/Bison2

K- Geese/Blanka/Sagat2

Rock is exceptionally good in K too and would serve as a decent replacement for Geese but I dunno.:pleased:

As far as N-Groove goes, I've had much success with...

Vega, Blanka, Bison

Iori, Guile, and Morrigan

I don't really play in the other grooves often...but I really need to.

I play N-groove mostly, because of Vega. He's my top character, so, many of my teams revolve around Vega.

I'd say in A it's now: Vega/Bison/Blanka(2) though you can take out a character and put in Hibiki or Sak and it'd still be top.

For N I'd say Chun/Blanka/Sagat.

But overall everything is not set in stone. You can have two top tier characters for the groove and the third could just be someone you like and it'd still be essentially top tier.

C Ken/Chun/Sagat R2.
A Blanka/Sakura/Bison R2 (overplayed team but still good.) High level players use Honda/Bison/Blanka R2. This is probably THE best A groove team if you happen to be a japanese guy with crazy RC skills.
P - Kyo/Sagat/Cammy. I've seen some crazy shit with this team done before.
S - Cammy/Bison/Sagat R2 (dr.B's team i think).
N - Iori/Chun/Sagat R 2 (this is the N groove team I play but I bet a lot of other N groovers play this team too.)
K - Blanka/Geese/Sagat R2 (This is probably my best team unless I sub out Geese for Cammy but it's really good because everyone have high stamina, high strength and nice ass supers).

His BnB deals ridiculous damage and leads to a mixup.
That alone isnt enough for him to see that much play.
However... after every parry you get a guaranteed BnB which makes him a beast.

But I use N-Groove Kyo/Rock/Athena anyways, so I wouldn't know jack about using P regardless. :rofl: But I'm still curious.

Bread and Butter. Basically just a characters main combo that is simple and easy enough to pull off with consistancy.

You can combo c.mk off of it... which is like... insanely good.

he has a couple. if theyre close you can do c.mp xx mk up kicks xx hk dragon kick which sends them to the corner. you can also do like c.mp xx mp rekkas which allows you to mixup from there. he also has really good parry baits because his c.lk game is so good. he has a very threatening kick throw because it leaves you right next to them, so you can mixup between c.lk tick throw/ c.lk then counterhit c.lk, c.mp xx rekkas/c.lk wait, down parry/whiff c.lk, throw/c.lk x2 xx lk up kicks, wave super...etc etc his only real weakness is getting in. but p kinda solves that too...
