Personaly I thought most this game was boring as well, however there are a lot of cool random things in that make it intresting like those forms and stuff, and the boss fights are pretty impressive so it keeps you somewhat intrested through the boringness.

I beat him at 78 personally, but it's less about level and more about having max-leveled your forms so that normal Sora gets High Jump LV3, Aerial Dodge LV3, and Glide LV3. (the LV3 MMX dash you get from Wisdom doesn't hurt either)

i beat him at lvl 55 without form leveling, but i did have 1 super jump. if your good at seeing his patterns, blocking, and u have an assload of elixirs then u can beat him straight up.

just make sure you have second chance and once more and stuff like that so you dont die from getting hit by combos.

I beat him at level 74, before that, I was level 68 and was getting destroyed; you would be surprised how much change even a few levels makes when battling Sephiroth.

Stages I found awfully boring...

Halloween Town - gah...boring...sleeps

Beauty and the Beast - The whole scenery made me feel sleepy, only thing that was good is that Belle is still good looking as usual.

That's really about it, the rest was fairly enjoyable. and I have to thank Square for NOT putting in Alice in Wonderland...omgosh, that was the single most boring part within Kingdom Hearts I, and I'm so happy it wasn't in KHII. Anyways, it was a fun game overall, although I found this Sephiroth match to be significantly easier than the first Sephiroth from KHI.

I would hope that maybe sometime in the future, they will allow you to switch team members...I mean, it would be cool to play as Aladdin, Beast, Simba whenever you want too which would be cool, instead of just Sora, and especially the Final Fantasy characters too, I mean Sora/Squall/Cloud is a Top Tier team and it would be great to be able to switch between disney/Square characters, just my opinion anyhow.

Basically, this shows a warrior on top of (what i think is the dragon xemnas was flying in) in the desert. The war looks left and see s a female war (you can tell by her breastplate) and a asexual warrior.

They meet in the middle of a 4 way intersection, made out of keyblades, the ground is littered with them. In the middle of the intersection where the 3 meet there lies mickeys keyblade, the defender, and i believe the one winged angel? or is it Rikus keyblade...anyways they are battleworn and rusted out, then you see close ups of the other keyblades in this keyblade graveyard...

Since the male, female, and asexual wars came from a different way of the intersection, there is an unknown 4th figure that comes and they all look at him/her. It is unclear whether it is someone in an organization cloak or wtvr. Basically my point is that this preview has a completely different tone and the only things that resemble KH is the keyblades, ansem reports and the xearnort text in the end. so does anyone have any ideas as to what kh3 is going to be like or wtvr? im really confused on this, thanks.

Only thing that didn't mesh for me was that Sora and crew should have looked more like humans, or "Live Action". I don't know how to word it. Basically how Jack looked. They should have had some pirate garb on as well.

In a sense... I hope KH3 sticks with characters, or worlds based on animation. No more live action stuff.


Speaking of KH3: I wonder if you fight the nobodies or heartless versions of the Disney bosses you defeated in KH and KH2?

Actually, now that I think about it, that's part of KH's allure. Sora is a character who is a match for any of these Disney villains, and getting to fight against them is just a blast. That prissy-ass prince in Sleeping Beauty's got NUTHIN' on Sora, who Maleficent KNOWS can beat her again. :rofl:

BUT as for the Nobodies of the Disney characters, well, none of them actually became Heartless except possibly Maleficent and Scar. Maleficent is back. Scar in an Organization cloack would be badass.

Speaking of which... they really powered up some of the weaker Disney villains in KH. Hades was freakin' owned in the Hercules movie, but in KH he's a match for Sora and friends (including Hercules and freaking Auron) by himself. Wacky. Scar was cowardly and weak in the Lion King (he got a lucky shot in on Simba in the last battle, which was bullshit; Simba should've punked him straight up), but in KH2 even BEFORE he went Heartless he was significantly more badass. And AFTER he went Heartless, well... I wasn't expecting that fight to be so hard. He was using fucking magic for cripe's sake.:looney: :rofl:

this was already addressed really. but. in an interview the creator said he had an idea for a plot but wasn't ready to start it. its always going to be about sora, so those might be new characters but sora will be involved somehow. and the thing about another and so on is reference to teh fact that xenohorts name in Latin without the X means another, one of the words mentioned.

That's one of the reasons I love KH, because you go through all these "timeless Disney classics" and relive the films...and then badass Sora proceeds to REGULATE ON EVERY FUCKER THERE. It's exactly what would happen if Cloud or Squall hopped on a Gummi Ship and started busting cheesy Disney villain ass. I nearly jumped for joy in KH when you got to take out Clayton up close and personal with a Keyblade.

And the best part is...Sora REALLY makes it hurt for them. Some of the Reaction Commands in KH2...my God. Like against Barbossa, the fool tries to pull a pistol out, only to get shut the fuck down and damn near DECAPITATED with a Keyblade uppercut. :rofl:

Next game...I must have Gaston. They have to give me that asshole...seeing Sora take his punk-ass off a ledge would be effing legendary.

Its already been stated that the 3 warriors at the end are new characters entirely, but that doesnt rule out relatives/decendants/clones/or whatever.

Heres all thats known about the title.

"September 13, 2006 - Everyone was expecting Square Enix to at some point provide a "Director's Cut" or "International Version" for Kingdom Hearts II, and sure enough, such a title has been announced. The latest issue of Jump Magazine has first screens and details for Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix for the Japanese PS2.

The title appears to be just the US version of Kingdom Hearts II, complete with English voices, which is something that fans in Japan have, according to the Jump article, been hoping for. But in addition to all the bonus content that was added for the English version, Square Enix is also adding a card battle system of some form. The battle system looks like a 3D version of the battle system from the Game Boy Advance Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, with the player selecting cards for moves.

Sadly, the Jump article does not reveal the specific nature of the card-based battles. It could be just a special move of some form, or perhaps we can look forward to something deeper.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
The last trailer from Square-Enix's was Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, which is a remixed version of Kingdom Hearts II (a.k.a the US version) as well as a title called Kingdom Hearts: Re:chain of Memories. As the title suggests, this is a remake of the GBA game of a similar name, but it's been completely redone in 3D. Not only that, but the game will include areas that weren't found in Chain of Memories before. Using an engine based on Kingdom Hearts II, the same card-based combat still applies, but it also includes the button-based combat found in Kingdom Hearts II. Interestingly enough, all of the cutscenes shown during the trailer featured only short appearances from the Disney characters.

Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ @ TGS

Name title is now officialy "Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+" (plus having do to with it having a whole game, which is on a second disc). Second disc, as we already know, is a remake of Chain of Memories. The second game/disc game is named "Kingdom Hearts: RE: Chain of Memories" (re/remake, you get it). Both will be released (in one bundle) Spring 2007.

I'm still super-pissed at Square-Enix for this Japan-only Final Mix BS, and pissed at Disney for not pushing to have this shit come out on our side of the ocean. This whole leapfrogging of better versions of the same game, with Japan always getting the best version, is getting stupid.

That said, I'm more looking forward to KH3 than to Final Mix+. Also, FF13 is being done by the guy who did KH, and is the same style of game (action-RPG), so there's that to look forward to.

I don't think it's really about the worlds themselves,but more about the story around the worlds. KH1 and KH2 had the same worlds but the storyline in all of them got deeper. But who knows they may put tha new movie thats coming out "Meet the Robinsons"(isn't that disney)

Well, I remember reading from an interview with the creator that the FF games' characters are just like guests in the many worlds of Disney and they all share Hollow Bastion as their "homeworld".

I think that was pretty much the case, it was basically a refugee camp world for peeps who lost their own world during KH1. All of the worlds were restored though so I guess there wasn't a need for Traverse Town.

No because Roxas was taken from The World That Never Was and put into a simulation of Twilight Town. So the only nobodies that were in Twilight Town were Roxas and Namine.

K< I got a question. I'm playing KH II right now, about 23 hours into it. I just ran that whole thing where the heartless attack Hallow Bastion.

I got a few questions, actually. First, what the fuck is a heartless, and what is a nobody? A heartless is somebody who's had their heart taken, right? And a nobody is what's left of them after that? Or do I got these two completely confused? I don't want parts of the game ruined for me, but I'm getting confused

What is a heartless, and how does it get created, and what is a nobody and how does it get created? If anybody can answer these questions without ruining some of the plot, I would really appreciate it.

i think you got the gist of it. i mean, i'm not too sure about it either as KH2 confused the whole issue for me, but from what I gather when a person gives in to the darkness of their heart, they essentially turn into the heartless. when that happens, they're body is left without a heart and that is what turns into a nobody.

As far as I can tell, a Heartless is when a heart fills with darkness and detaches from the body and soul. What is left is the Nobody (which depending on who you talk to, can either be just the body or it HAS to be the body and the soul.)

The names are kinda mixed up in that sense since Nobodies don't have hearts, and should therefore be Heartless. While the Heartless actually is just a heart, corrupted and taken form with darkness.

Rare exceptions to the case are of course Roxas, who is a Nobody that seems to have half of Sora's heart. And Namine, whatever the fuck she was.

Riku, Diz, and Mickey infiltrate the darkness once they all find each other; I guess in order to stay in the darkness, they needed to blend in. There's somewhat of an explanation near the final battle of KH2. Maybe SE just did it because he looked bad-ass?

As far as I know (again)....Riku had darkness in his heart, but it never took him over. Therefore, never became a Heartless. His heart/soul went to the other side of Kingdom Hearts when Ansem took over his body.

After Ansem was defeated, he became whole again. He shouldn't have a Nobody due to never becoming a Heartless.

The Sora/Roxas/Kairi/Namine situation complicates everything though. Sora was very briefly a Heartless. Kairi brought him back, but half of his heart remained with Roxas. And somewhere in all of that, Namine was made also. Though I can't explain her, or Roxas really. If Sora got his body back, then what is Roxas made of? Is he really a Nobody, or half of a Heartless? Doesn't make much sense. Hopefully they will explain this kind of stuff in more detail in the KH novels that are supposed to be coming out.

He met him in Chain Of Memories pretty sure, but he was calling himself DiZ at that point.

Personally, I liked it better when Ansem was Ansem and he was originally had good intentions, but got corrupted.

I also liked it better when they were talking about Riku being the "middle road" kid, with the darkness and light mixing in him being a good thing.

Ahh well. Mad love for the KH series, but I just wish they wouldn't have gone certain directions sometimes.

I just thought of an addition they should add to Final Mix 2: Battle Mode.
Choose from a number of possible characters (enemies, friends, allies, etc) and battle it out colliseum style; or, create battles from various settings and stats (choose who is your enemy, how many, etc) and battle it out. No experience would be gained of course, but it would still be alot of fun playing Cloud against squall or Tifa and Cloud versus Squall and Yuffie. It will never be added, but it's a neat thought. Also, they could make this portion of the game two player, or even four player with a multi-tap (seriously, why hasn't Sony made any of their systems four player? No creativity what so ever over at Sony).

OK, there is NO WAY Final Mix is the same difficulty level as Kingdom hearts; I'm at level 60 and I am literally getting my ass handed to me by the Ice Titan...seriously, after the match he said "Oh, you might want this back" and he threw my ass at me......

Have you tried using Guard? I think I remember that working pretty well. Go up into the stands so you have more time to react. Don't put Aero on though, I think that just automatically breaks the ice when it hits. And of course always have Cure on your quick magic list, things a fucking life saver.

Yeah, casting Aero makes the icicles bigger, making them unable to deflect. I always have cure hot-keyed, aswell; I just need some more practice, as all.

I just beat Ice Titan; once I realized that it's about patience and pattern and not about power, it was reletively easy albeit VERY time consuming!
I still need to level up before I take on Sephiroth; I may even need to get Ultima Weapon. In Final Mix, alot of the keyblade stats are drastically changed, for example, Rumble Rose is now the strongest after Ultima, and Oblivian has decreased in power and ability.
Did I read somewhere that Sephiroth is weak agaist dark element, which is why I should use Oblivian?

I defeated Kurt Zisa and Phantom; Zisa first, as he was more difficult and my levels were lower. Phantom was pretty easy, considering my levels and equipment.
Now I have to tackle Sephiroth and Unknown; I managed to pound Sephiroth until his second last health bar last night, but I was too exhausted to try again. I can't manage to accurately evade his crazy flying slash move, so I have to come up with a strategy for that.

I just finished completeing Sephiroth, at which point I headed directly to where Unknown was and beat him; I'm fairly sure they tweaked the experience because I am only getting 10000 for Sephiroth(maybe I just imagined it more).
I ended up only using 5 elixirs on my first completion, hopefully I can get that down to zero in the future.
Unknown is a little harder, because there are VERY fews moments when he doesn't have stun gaurd on. There aslo isn't much strategy to fighting him; basically it's who can beat who down in health first. Pretty sweet fight, tough.

I emailed a bunch of addresses from Square Japan's domain name ('cuz I'm of the personal opinion that Square USA doesn't really care to pass along feedback to the higher-ups across the ocean) asking about a North American release.

One addy gave me a "doesn't exist" bounceback. Every other one went through. Still no reply. I sent this like 5 days ago. :rofl: Not that I was expecting one or nuthin', but it still sucks that we missed out on both Final Mixes.

Hopefully, whether KH continues on the PS3 or the XB360 (preferably the latter), they'll use the HD to issue patches to upgrade our inferior version of KH3 to Final Mix +++.

As for the avatar, Roxas is my favorite KH character, but I want to take a character that no one else has used yet, so Zexion is cool with me. If you can manage to get a SS of him with his book, that'd be sweet. :tup:

I signed an online petition a few months back for the release of FM overseas, I think the number of signatures is over 4k now; don't remember the last time I checked. I may end up importing it after all, and then buying the domesitc release assuming it comes over.

EDIT: I'm still racking my brain to figure out something to add to this avatar; I don't want to add something JUST for the sake of making an addition, because I really like this avatar. I may just end up keeping it the way it is, unless I'm hit with a creative, so to speak. As opposed to changing the format, I might add specific and individual effects depending on who uses what.
