View Full Version : How is the Magic Box?

I just got a new Joystick (Tekken Hori) and I was wondering how good are the Magic boxs?

Is there any lag from controler input to character on screen?

i don t know how it will works with the tekken stick but i have one who works perfectly with my hori soulcalibur stick and also with my real arcade pro modded with sanwa parts

Flawless, my buddy from Pittsburgh has the Tekken stick.

I have both and I will never use another joystick again. works amazing well with no problems.

Perfect. Never had any problems with stick or pad. Doesnt work with voice.

I might get a magic box to hook up my DC controllers and arcade to XBL, so I don't have to buy a xbox pad and make an adapter. Someone said on the comments page on lik-sang that only 4 of the buttons on the agetec stick work with the magic box. So my question is this:

Do 6 button digital DC pads and/or the DC agetec stick work with the magic box DC to Xbox converter?

found the other thread http://www.shoryuken.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96727&highlight=magic , yeah it says Z and C don't work and there is lag on SFAC, maybe I'll just wire up an xbox pad.

That's weird. Regular DC controllers work fine. I never tried the Agetec DC stick, I'll have to check that out. If the DC stick doesn't work, you could always get a nice Hori PS2 one or something like that instead.

It's good, works pefectly for me but no Microphone support.
