Originally the draw for me in SFAC was the old school SF. As some of the best times ive had as a youth was playing that game. i remember getting Championship Edition as christmas gift way back, and for that whole year, litterally, it was the only game i ever had in that system. i also remember saving up my little lunch money and purchasing a strategy guide for the game (SF2T Hyper Fighting Strategy Guide - 1994 Expert's Edition) and pouring many hours in to mastering every little combo and technique in there - which for the most part i did, save for the re-dizzies grrrr... >:/

Anyway, i recently resurrected that book and started to go through it again (since im complete shit at it now  ).
and im finding that some of the things do not seem to work anymore (timing too??).

A particular example is Turbo Blanka's c.FW does not seem to 2-in-1 anymore..

At first i thought that it was AE's fault, that it was broken - that it wasnt faithful to the arcade version of the game. but then as i tried it some more i had a second thought, seeing as how most of my SF'ing was done on console, maybe it was that game that was broken and that Blanka could never 2-in-1 off a c.FW in the arcade in the first place??

What i want to know is, is AE broken (not like the arcade original versions of the characters)? i sort of have a feeling that it is..
And if so, what are the changes (i dont care how obscure they may be)?

i do not know the ins and out but what you should take note of is that you are playing on cps2 now and not cps1 and that could be a factor.... remeber how on the snes you could dp for days and it was difficult to sweep after you had to block but now its like get the fuck out of here with that lame shit.

the old console versions didn't have all the animations either....i remeber guiles meduim punch looking the same as his jab on console but that was a long time ago and i could be wrong.

yeah thats true about the animations, thats why i thought that maybe the console version was screwed..
on live though i still get worked over by people who do continuous uppercuts :/

Anyway, i've found out that you can indeed still combo blanka's c.fw i believe its a chain though and not a 2-in-1.. but it combos so
