Sometimes people just don't want your tips, dude. However, I don't see a problem in just beasting them till they get frustrated and give up.

I played you today Phix, and you're much better than me.
So long as you're having fun throwing other players around, just keep taking the wins. If you exploit their weaknesses they'll catch on and improve. They might even be greatful for it. If they're not having fun, it's up to them to quit. I wouldn't be bothered about biasing rankings, most of the good players know it's flawed anyway.
I prefer playing people better than me. It takes my game up a level. Played 20+ games with Kanri today and they were some of the best I've had. Poor Ken was bouncing around like a ragdoll, but I learned a lot :)

I make it a point to play highly-skilled guys with good reputations.
Sometimes they get bored with me and quit out after the second match, other times we go for 30+ matches. Doesn't do much for my record, but man, it's a rush.
I probably should plug in my mic, but it's usually a tossup between getting "hey, you got something there, but you need to work on this and this..." or "OMG YOU FAGGOT ASS NEWB! I'M GONNA RAPE YO FACE!"
At least with the latter, I have a better chance to get in the guy's head with a little mix up action...

I do it all the time, even if they don't have a mic or even asked for it. "Dude, stop stomping with Alex, it's a move you do to suprise people, don't just sit there and charge for 5 seconds while I just stand here, what the hells the matter with you, you should do more EX moves!" And of course, the only way to teach people not to SRK on wakeup EVERY TIME is to dash up, block, and punish MAD when they come back down. But some people never learn.
Actually on two occasions I've had someone tell me "I just got the game", and I gotta teach them the fundamentals. Don't know how to throw or EX or anything. Kinda odd to go straight to online when you don't even know the basics. I guess they're too used to randomly pressing buttons to win ala DOA/MK.

Yeah, I'm pretty new here. Been lurking for a while but only started posting when my name cropped up in the Good Games thread :) I've got a mic. and all that other kit, but I don't have it all jigged up. Played a few 'outspoken' folk who put me off it. Maybe I'll give it another shot today.
Yup, I don't spam fireballs or any of that badness. It's too easy to fall into a repetitive groove on live like that and only use stuff that gets results, but it's boring as hell. That said, I've not played 3S offline to any great extent, so if I'm doing anything that would be considered cheap, it's out of ignorance more than anything :)

I'm getting my ass kicked on a weekly basis by Shim, Ediepops and Shun NL. But it's all good!!! I don't care about loosing or about stats. I'm learning from every knockdown or SA up in my ass!

one of my favourite people to fight against was ediepops, cos for awjile we were so equal it was like fighting myself, i know now tho that ill get my asss whupped cos i aint been on for tiime
its better to fight against equal opponents and occasionally harder people, when i started i only played the hardest people, it helped me a bit, bot not my win/loss ratio LOL!!!
