I knew the break wasn't gonna happen right away, Mike and the boss (can't spell his name) were on good terms the whole time, I already knew Mike wouldn't escape without getting in his face. And that's just one example of unresolved business in the prison (such as T-Bag's rise to power, Bellick's redemption, etc.) And I don't really care about the reset, as long as they get to the bottom of the whole Company storyline before the season's over.

That's to be expected, it still had more conclusions than seasons 1&2. IMO this has been the most complete season so far based on the variety of incidences and how fleshed out the character dynamic is.

If there's any reason the finale sucked (and it didn't) it's because it wasn't the intended finale. This was the Winter break episode, the season isn't finished (writer's strike). PB seasons are 22 episodes long.

S3 has the potential to blow away the last two seasons (actually S2 is out of view right already), I hope nothing gets in the way of filming the final episodes.

Mahone's family would be too good of leverage to have incase they needed to manipulate him.

Sara was a given because the girl playing her was pregneant at the time. Gretchen too, they could have easily just shown her getting shot if they really wanted to can her. That and they gave Whistler the axe waaaay too early, killing off Gretchen would pretty much kill off all of last season's new characters (aside from Linc's new girl, although i'm pretty sure we won't be seeing much of her or LJ.)

I have a feeling Mike's nose bleed is some form of a tumor or something. You generally aren't THAT smart and not have something wrong with you. That and all the stressful stuff he's been through.

Why in the first 30 minutes did almost everybody either die or get arrested again? Then 10 seconds later they have a coalition to bring down the company with token Asian smart guy randomly on the team. Then those fucking morons go and put on GPS tracking devices, like the fucking company won't eventually tap into those and own them with it. Not to mention the fact that they are walking around with a constant electronic signal being given off, what if they need to go through some sort of metal detector for whatever reason? Or they try to cut a "deal" with some body and they need to get searched? MORONS! I'm not saying the character development in this show is mind-blowing, but it's really underrated compared to most shows out there. In addition to Lincoln squashing the beef with Mahone, notice that Linc's acting like the kind of knucklehead that made him the perfect scapegoat in the first place, but he acted like a broken man on death row in S1. And of course Bellick is an overgrown pussy now that his badge is gone. That's really the only thing that makes PB stand out in my book. Other than that this series is Shawshank Redemption on MDMA.

I can't really call Went a poor actor until I see him in a polar opposite role. His deadpan personality was designed for his character so it's hard to say if he's pulling it off because of "poor" acting or if that's just Scofield.

In retrospect the time when he found out Sarah was "dead" seemed pretty emotive and genuine.
