I remember thinking that with the injuries that the Suns have among their key players, it was possible the Lakers could win. But it would go at least 6 games! But damn! How is it that now, the Lakers are so "hungry" to win another championship? What has Phil Jackson done to this squad to make them play so intense now?
I thought Nash definitely was worthy of the MVP award last season, but this season I was skeptical about it. He still was scoring around 21 ppg & 11 apg and helped his team become the #2 seed in the west. But defense-wise that whole team needs to improve. They could have had a better record if they could have kept Joe Jackson. Q was overrated & maybe even peaked to the best of his ability. So letting him go was no big loss.
Denver finally won a game (barely!), but I still don't see them making it to the 2nd round. Their just doesn't seem to be any motivation on that squad to want to win right now.
All hail King LeBron!
Joe Johnson, maybe?
I said before the Lakers/Suns series that if the Lakers could take advantage of their supremacy in the post, they would win the series. So far, that's playing out well. I'm also happy to see Smush stepping his defensive game up. He still isn't good, but he's not getting eaten alive.

how come the
cavs/wizard game had a great finish and like 2 ppl said something about it
spurs/kings game had a great finish and like no one said anything about it
lakers/suns and EVERYONE talking about the Lakers.....
WTF!!!!
cuz the lakers/sun series are all close games. no blowouts. and the series is hella entertaining to watch. and the fact that the two mvp candidates are going at it.
and especially cuz the lakers, 7th seed, are outplaying the suns the 2nd seed. it doesn't happen all the time when the underdog outplays the better team throughout a series.. im not even gonna front... you can see it in the suns faces.. especially marion. they're confused out of their minds right now. marion missed like 3 or four easy shots in the game because he had to alter it against odom. how is it that a team that they dominated in the regular season, are beating them straight out in the playoffs... you know that the laker wins were no flukes either.. and they're doing it with a balanced attack and kobe hasn't even scored over 30 yet.. the suns are looking very intimidated right now
THATS why the laker fans are excited

Haha yeah man, they had some funny stuff to say.
The Clips game was hardly a contest today. Nuggets kept it close in the first quarter, but midway through the second the Clips took over and never looked back. In the first quarter I was worried the Clips would play the whole game like they played game 3, with way too many fouls and turnovers, but they settled down and owned the Nuggets up. Good job guys, second round here we come!

What I want to see, is if the Lakers can play like this against good defensive teams.
Everyone's been giving the Lakers props (And deservingly so), but keep in mind the Suns are very weak defensively without KT. He was a vital part of their defense.

That's what alot of people said when the Pistons mauled the Lakers in the finals a few years ago. It was a 5 game sweep.
If the Lakers (and Clippers) win on Tuesday, that'll probably be said as well.
Lol..Lakers play ho-hum for the season, enter the playoffs as a 7th seed, and have the Suns in a 3-1 hole. And Kobe hasn't even scored 30 points in a game. What's going on?

I do have to agree about that. This series reminds me a little bit of that finals series. Pistons played all around team ball and surprised everyoned by taking the crown. Nobody expected the lakers to do much and they are on the verge of going to the semis. Of course, not the same implications but similiar nonetheless.
When Amare comes back, then the Suns will go supernova on everyone.

-Owns NBA record for second-highest point total @ 81, behind, of course, Wilt Chamberlain's 100.
-Only the second person, obviously, to score 80 points in a game, behind, of course, Wilt Chamberlain
-Only the second person, obviously, to score 35+ points in 13 straight games, behind, of course, Wilt Chamberlain
-Only the second person, obviously, to average 40+ PPG (points per game) in two different months, behind, of course, Wilt Chamberlain
-Only the third person, obviously, to score 40+ points in 9 straight games, behind, of course, Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan

Phil had to have had some sort of long zen talk with him before the playoffs. I'm betting he invited Kobe to dinner and then went to crack his fingers, this is when Kobe noticed that Phil was wearing his nine champion rings. This is when Phil said "The time is now Kobe, accept your destiny"

Nash said it himself that it was a jump ball.
What? Where? Link?
Nash was fucking pissed, and I'm sure everyone in Phoenix should be too. That jump ball was fucking bullshit. Absolutely retarded call.
1) Obvious foul situation. Refs should already be aware that the Lakers are looking to foul.
2) Nash actually GOT FOULED MULTIPLE TIMES.
3) Walton didn't have hands on the ball for enough time for a jump ball.
4) Nash was shouting "TIME OUT" the entire damn time and the ref was right there.
Just retarded. And weird too, considering that the entire game was actually called pretty consistently for once.
That said...it should never even have come down to that one play. Suns got robbed for that one call, but they should have closed it out a lot earlier.
Kobe still had to dribble up and fade against Bell and Diaw in 6.1 seconds, Nash still got it cleanly swiped by Smush at the end of regulation, Kobe still tied it up with an impossible shot (the tying shot was more ridiculous than the winning shot, I think), and the Suns missed like at least five WIDE OPEN threes late in the fourth that would have iced it.
I have no idea what's going on. This isn't the same Lakers team that went through the regular season. That team couldn't win 16 games without Kobe.
Odom pretty much raped Marion the whole game. I would have thought that Marion would be the best defensive match-up against Odom on any of the possible teams in the West...but I guess not. Odom finally played the way everyone thought he would when he first came over.
And how about Smush? He fucking sucked the entire game (Let Nash run all over him, 0-9 from the floor) until he saved the game. He hit a big two late, and then that huge three, and then the steal. The three crucial plays before Kobe's in regulation were all from Smush.
I'm still convinced that David Stern is pulling some NBA conspiracy to pit the Clippers and the Lakers against each other...but damn, The Psycho One is too good.
I was actually ragging on Kobe during the game, because he kept passing it off late when he should have been taking the game over, like he did in OT. But then he hit that floater and I shut up.
Awesome game.

I was watching the Miami/Chicago game before that too. I didn't get anything done today.
Some entertaining stuff with the Payton/Wade fight.
Good job getting in between those guys and letting your team know that you're IN A FUCKING PLAYOFF GAME, Pat Riley!
Scott Skiles is out-coaching the shit out of him.
Miami has Toronto-Raptors-level perimeter defense. Any Bulls guard was given free access to any point on the floor. I don't even get it - you have fucking SHAQ DADDY in the middle. All you're responsible for is the space between the three point line and the top of the key - Shaq will take care of the rest. And they couldn't even do that.
If Kirk, Gordon, and Nocioni (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) can run all over them like that, then Billups and Rip will cut them to fucking shreds. Miami's got no chance against them...assuming they can even beat Chicago.
I still have no idea why they decided to trade for Walker and Jason Williams. They should have just kept the same team together (one that would have beaten the Pistons last year if Wade didn't have that freak injury in Game 7) and given Haslem more playing time instead of giving it to Walker.
And apparently Chandler just had a mild sprain...so it shouldn't be that bad. But Shaq always ends up in foul trouble because the perimeter defense is so shitty that everyone gets free access to the paint and he has no choice but to foul. So it isn't THAT bad.
And Kirk Hinrich has Sam Cassell sized testicles. I change my mind almost daily about whether the 2003 draft class was better than the 1996 draft class.
...though not today, because The Psycho One was drafted in 1996.

Shit, he probably had his hands covered with 10 rings, then put his feet up and showed off his eleventh on his big toe (The Zen Master has 11 rings, 2 as a player w/ the Knicks, 9 as a coach.)
I think Phil is a God. Last October when they were playing in Hawaii he told the Lakers, 'Ok team listen up. This is the plan for the season. I want you to give the ball to Kobe all the time. He's going to score alot of points, as well as become a better player He's the best player on this team.'
Odom: 'What about me?'
Kwame: 'Nigga what about you? You used to be a damn Clipper!'
Odom: 'I know this purple motherfucker ain't talkin to me. Fakin like you sick to get out of a game..'
Kwame: 'SHUT UP NIGGA!! Head looks like a Milk Dud.'
Mihm: 'I think Coach is trying to speak here guys....'
Everyone: 'SHUT UP WHITE BOY!!!'
Mihm: '....'
Luke: 'HAHA!! White boy!! That's funny...wait...HEY!'
Phil: 'As I was saying, Kobe is going to lead us to #7 in the playoffs come April.'
Mihm: 'How do you know this Coach J?'
Phil: 'I'm God that's why. But when we get to the playoffs, I'm going to give you all Divine Powers to destroy whoever it is you face.'
Phil glows and starts to float while chanting...

These playoffs are quite entertaining. Kobe turning into final form and killing krillian ( aka Steve Nash ), Ron Artest going K groove and not taking any shit from the Spurs, the bulls new zerg teamate based gameplay ( old bulls were Protoss, new bulls = zerg ), Dallas owning bitches hardcore, and the Clippers punking out the Nuggets.
I'm all about a Hallway series, lets go LA/LA !
Dallas/Clippers WESTERN Final (whoops !)

People can cry all they want too, the Lakers vs Suns and the Chicago vs Heat series are the best things going for the Nba right now.
Im still not interested in the best of seven first round but then again it does give the number#8 and other lower seeds a long run at defeating a top ranked seed.
Wow Hence the lakers  I guess now the suns are going to get pissy mad and say "Well we were supposed to be facing the Nuggets not the Lakers anyways" :arazz: Take your ass whoppin like a man sucker.
Kobe sharing the game and Phil Jackson's coaching is making this an actual series and Im loving it. Do you know how long it takes to learn the triangle offense? I can't remember who said it (Lamar Odom?), but they said it takes at least 1 year to learn it. Malone, Payton, and the newcomers were trying to get used to it back in the day and during the mid-season, they kept saying "We're still trying to figure out the triangle offense"

AkumaTX

umm no. The suns were trying the same type of shit the mavs tried for so many years and failed at. All offense and no defense. Finally someone slows them down at their game and everyone wants to say they are playing bad? They are playing bad cause they cant get into the rythme they want. Another thing. The lakers arent playing a bit better. Tehy are playing many times better. This is the team that was horrid against the suns regular season, last game of the seson nash is missing Lakers win. Everyone is like wow they won cause nash wansnt playing. Now he is, and here we go once again. People trying to discredit what the lakers are doing to the suns, with and nash in the line up. Face it. Laker haters will always hate and laker lovers will always cheer.
As for the heat, there is lack of team chemistry and the heat would barely beat the lakers when they were a team that still wasnt considered a good team. I truly think the heat would not stand a chance against this lakers team.
Lakers are playing better, and suns are playing worst. It's not one or the other. Suns miss what they usually make. James Jones was getting more production in game 4, which is what i like to see, the JR. suns fans know.
The bench is pretty much non factor.
But like i said, I still give credit to lakers.

Suns have no idea what a good shot is. They will jack shit up like it was the beginning of the game. That's why they are losing. No clue/inside player to dominate late in the game = expected loss to the Lakers. Last year amare dominated in the post during clutch. Right now, everyone gets free lay ups/dunks on suns. It's quite obvious how important he is, and how intricate he is to their offense/success. He was just as fast a nash, could jump higher than anyone, and had the power of a monster. W/o them they go back to mediocrity, but it is only exposed until now, when it counts. They don't know what a good posession is. Yeah, it's fun to watch, but the lakers have stepped up their defense(slightly), and the suns have really poor decisions. They have dug themselves a hole that is too deep for reparation. Tim Thomas = their savior the whole series.
I expect people to call the clippers boring, but damn, they have some fucking ballers and inside presence. Shit is going to be exciting because brand is going to make kwamye his bitch, just like Mike did. He's going to bring back his nightmares, by dropping 40-10 on his ass. Also, I don't expect anyone to watch their games, but shaun livingston has risen up to the occasion. 6'7 pg = no answer for the lake show. I'm sorry, even though Kaman is trashy, he's gonna grace the lakers too. Last but certainly not least, Sam Cassell > anything. That's right, Clippers are ready. This is more than basketball, it's destiny. Beweare Western Conference...BE-FUCKING-WARE
Also, I love how all the laker fans in my area(L.A.) are all becoming clipper haters. Up until now, we didn't have any support. So, I welcome all the warm-welcoming from the laker fans. <3
Yall are NOT ready for the best team in L.A. We're taking this shit back to the pond, show you whats really good. I predict maggette to BLOW UP in this series, because he wants out of the clip-show, so, he's gonna play his best to impress his new team and get a better contract.

Kings/Bulls = underdogs. I think someone posted before about them, but they have made this years playoffs one to remember. Triangle offense is difficult to learn as well, which is impressive that these young cats can execute it better than the vets like malone/payton. Kirk is a fucking baller, like wow. Yea when PHX lost KT, defense just went down hill...His stats may not be impressive, certainly no amare, but just having a big guy there makes such a huge difference.
and KT didn't believe in this BS called a "touch foul" If you wanna layup, your gonna get laid out. That's why defense was better this season up til that point. With Amare and KT, even if lakers had nihm, it's no fucking question because no one on the lakers could've stopped amare. He was giving duncan comp.
But I still believe the suns can win, i'm a true fan of the team, always have been, always will be. Then BAM. They lose 3 straight. Karma, man, karma. Lakers CANNOT relax. I'm not celebrating NOTHING until Lakers win. This has been a crazy playoffs so far, so I'm not taking anything for granted, as much of a Laker fan that I am.
Secondly: "Hallway Series" was coined by Billy Crystal. ^_^ I'm sure Viscant stole it from him.
Thirdly: I feel terrible for Phoenix, but if they won it this year without Amare, that would have sucked for Amare. He's too good to get his first ring whilst sitting on the bench. I would love to see Phoenix win next year with a rejuvenated Amare, the only player to fully recover from microfracture surgery, and kick-ass next year. Then, if they win it, Amare can be a full part of it. One of my friends said to me, of this current series, "People are just gonna say Phoenix would have won if they had Amare!" Yeah, I can honestly say that if kobe does not get mvp this year, he never will. If 81+62 pt performance wasn't enough then gg. Nash is always going to do shit like this, and lebron is only going to continue to get better...
He only has a couple of years left to win mvp with such competition like lebron.
Dallas swept Memphis to continue the Memphis streak of always losing playoff games, 0-12, ouch.

I LOVE LAKERS FANS
They're the fucking best. Years and years of conditioning have caused them to become more sensitive than Devil X's asshole after a week out with "the guys."
The early 2000's Lakers were hated as much as the mid-90's Yankees...and Lakers fans evolved a hard, dimond-encrusted shell around their bodies for protection by winning three championships.
But now natural selection's catching up.
Awesome. JUST AWESOME
The entire thread has been on Kobe's nuts for like the last ten pages, but you crazy Lakers fans come in and still automatically assume everyone's hating on the Lakers. Everyone here (with the exception of the three guys that live in Phoenix) is rooting FOR the Lakers. And the Clippers.
I love you guys.
Yeah, I can honestly say that if kobe does not get mvp this year, he never will. If 81+62 pt performance wasn't enough then gg. Nash is always going to do shit like this, and lebron is only going to continue to get better...
Kobe will win an MVP AWARD when the Lakers do better than a seventh seed in the REGULAR SEASON.
He can be the ACTUAL MVP for as many years as he likes, just like Iverson's done. But to get the AWARD...then his team's going to need to do better than seventh seed.
As Shaq has proven...the MVP award doesn't have too much of a corelation with the actual MVP.

And Nash only said that because his country raised him right, and he's all class.
Can you imagine this team with a healthy Amare though? Insanity.
But Nash has stayed healthy and played too many minutes for too long...eventually something's gotta give.
I still maintain that Cuban was right for not giving Nash that huge contract. That doesn't mean that he didn't think Nash would light it up like this - but Dallas has turned out okay, and it's a huge risk to gamble that Nash can be this productive for all the years in his contract.

This is the year of Dirk. If Dallas doesn't beat San Antonio this year (either by actually beating them or just "beating" them by outlasting them if the Kings win...which they won't), then they probably never will.
This is the year. SEIZE YOUR CHANCE
Don't be like the Kings - a shallow husk of themselves ever since they blew their chance against the Lakers Dynasty.

Im looking for Dallas vs Clippers in the western Conference finals and
Detroit vs New Jersey in the Eastern Conference Finals
Man look THe Clippers have a nice bench with 2 maybe three guys who can get in the game and be a factor, they are also fretty sizable on the inside. Elton Brands intensity leve has arisen and Cassell isnt hurt for once, Livington is in doulbe figures on assists lately and Maggette is a beast PERIOD.
They have pretty good defense (Which needs to be better tested) and I think it would be exciting to seem them versus the Mavs and NOT THE SPURS freegin ass rammers.
I have no remorse for the HEAT's Organization or its Players. SHAQ is whining and near the whining level of Carmelo. Fool you are the ONLY Real Center and big man in the league left to dominate... SO DOMINATE FAT BOY.
WARBLADE stop using Shaq's age as an excuse this fool is the biggest man on the court and had the nerve to post a less then double figures Rebounding game and points???
They got 2 Skinny ass big man NEITHER of these guys have been threats to any other team all year D'ing his ass up, Tyson had 1 point and like 3 rebounds before he got hurt, but he was whoppin Shaq's ass downlow all game.
Bitching about fouls dont do shit if your not taking the positions downlow that you NEED in order to dominate, You aint Jabbar quit going for sweeping hooks, and coming across the middle with thtat weak ass jumper you fucking pussy.
Take a pass drop step two hand jam it on any little faggot under the goal, the NBA rules have changed in FAVOR of the offensive player, any man who totuches you while in that circle under the goal will be called for a foul so what can they do to you once you get that deep??
I told you all Detroit never lost it, they were bored and looking for a challenge, and Billups also proved he wasnt being showed up by Redd, his 34 point performance showed his experence and Dominance.
The NETS do the same thing in there games but dont get as much critisism as the Pistons which is not fair, also Detroit is the only team NOT beingh shown Nationaly or on a channell frequelty watched or easy to find, the Detroit hte is still alive.
People can say there ability to play defense so well makes the game boring but hell when San Antonio won against the Queens (And they have only defeated the kings once in this series I might add) the league didnt bust them down to NBA.Com either, this is some bull shit.
Big ups to Kobe who now has a Micheal Jordan Like moment for the critics and tabloids to feast on, and this further proves my point on Why Nash was MVP and how well HE AS A PLAYER MADE THEM LOOK GOOD.
Those fucks aint hitting 16 three point shots a game now are they??:arazz:
The Lakers will lose the first game back in Phoenix but will close it out in the second game to move on for the Hallway Battle which should be pretty amusing to watch. No real home court advantage but I think the crowd will go for the lakers 70% to 30%
P.S. The HEAT will still defeat the Baby Bulls, the Home Games will help Miami Recover and I see either Wade dominating or Alonzo getting one good game in this series.
That Evans guy should be fined and suspended next season for 5 games, he grabbed a mans genitals in a game and PULLED THEM, fuck what Artest did yo this shit is worse, now GAY comments will be made, and if the League doesnt do anything ARTEST needs to sue there asses

What'll happen is that the games where the Clippers are "home" their season ticket holders and anyone who bought Clippers playoff tickets will be there, and same for the Lakers. There'll probably be more Lakers fans at Clippers games than Clippers fans at Lakers games, but the crowd won't be much in favor of the Lakers at Clips games.

Some of those calls weren't fouls? The majority of them weren't fouls. I like how Chuck was showing that when Raja hit the deck and started grabbing at his jaw, Kobe's elbow didn't even make contact. Wasn't even close if you watched the replay.
This is my biggest problem with the NBA this season. Calling way too many offensive fouls and overrespecting the flop. Lebron had 4 charging fouls called on him in the last game, a couple of them really questionable. Shaq has been sitting on the bench the majority of his series, usually for turning around while Chandler launches himself into the 4th row. Same thing is happening to Kobe.
If I wanted to watch guys writhe around on the ground pretending to be hurt, I'd watch soccer. They need to do what the NHL did and try to legislate the flop out of the game. Make the really bad flops a technical foul and get this garbage out of the game.

Raja would happily get suspended if it meant Kobe was going down with him. Which it would since Bryant's been elbowing him ALL SEASON, let alone every single playoff game. Every time they played, Bell would "mysteriously" go to the ground, and Kobe would be looking around like, "who dat"? :wtf:

I don't know what to think about that Raja Bell foul; while it was a foul that expressed my anger towards Kobe for ripping the hearts out of the Suns the last game, more than likely he will be suspended (and I doubt Kobe will be suspended) and that means the best person to guard Kobe is gone going into an elimination game. I'm on the clippers bandwagon, so much that I bought season tickets last summer. People thought I was crazy..
I think flopping sucks in general. I hate when Cassel does it. The balance is hard on these charging/blocking calls. People flopping is killing it on both ends. The offensive players flailing his arms like he got smacked by Mike Tyson is just as bad as the defender flopping.
When the defender jumps striaght UP on a ball fake and the shooter jumps into their chest or under them is my other pet peeve. I hate that shit. The defender shouldn't get a foul. He jumped straight up, thats his space.
I kinda hope Bell doesn't get suspended. Who is gonna guard Kobe? He made a made a bad play.
Ross from the clips will do a good job on Kobe if they play. Ross doesn't have to score really, so he can spend all his time up in Kobe's grill, just trying to frustrate him. I look forward to a battle of LA if this goes down, so Clipper nation can rise out of the ashes of the gay ass sports arena.
BTW, Kobe has done his fair share of flopping and making plays with a little contact seem worse than they really are :)
Are you saying I'm one of the bandwagoners when I've been a suns fan since the early 90's?
More like, I'm a Fan of a team, and one team only, and that has always been the Suns. I fail to see how that's jumping the bandwagon, but i dunno, i could be wrong.

Well Im not jumping on the Clippers band wagon Im just presenting truth.
If you look at there line whether it be by the numbers, names, stats or what ever, They could defeat either the Lakers or Phoenix and move on to take on either Dallas or the Spurs its a fact.
They got hella size on the inside to work the paint in:
Chris Kaman
Elton Brand
Corey Maggette
Vladimir Radmanovic
Zeljko Rebraca
Walter McCarty
Doesnt this team also have that fat fuck Vin Baker  Throw his fat ass out there for foul trouble yo.
If the SUNS were to some how come from behind and defeat the Lakers (Which I dought) they will have problems, Evidence of this you ask... Ummm there having problems with Lamar Odom a guy who HASNT had a great year playing along side Kobe and he is what 6'10, Imagine Kaman and th elist posted up above??
The Lakers on the orther had Would pose a better threat due to having the size to match, which would evenly slow down both sides of the ball but give Kobe ONE on ONE advantages because they will have to double if he gets off early.
I just like the way the Clippers are built on paper and what not, with a little more guard help they could pose a threat in the future, hopefully there owner will actually LIKE having a WINNING team and go with the flow, but the night they closed out the Nuggets he didnt seem excited at all.
PLAYOFF REVIEWS:
Both the game 5's in Miami and Phoenix sucked as suspected, The Refs tried so hard to make up for foul calls NOT MADE during the Previous games they called shit UN-Seen in the current games. THe Miami Game showed me even more weakness in that team and im PISSED the BaBy BULLS Shot 35% and couldn't capatalize on the one point lead the HEAT Posted on them with SHAQ on the bench with 4 fouls and WADE supposedly hurt, this guy will get hurt every playoff year so there can be a story and so the HEAT will pull out the miraculous win while he is playing so hurt he could cry

Just for the record, the Lakers are looking so good in this round because (a) they have a big size advantage in the frontcourt (and overall), and (b) when they slow the game down, the Suns look at each other and start panicking because they have no plan B.
They don't really have either of those on the Clippers, or either of the Texas teams (projecting towards a Laker/Texas conference final). Just to keep things in perspective, assuming they win.

WHAT yea the front court is big but they produce nothing, Up against the clippers that will be hell of a problem because Maggette, Livingston, and Cassell are all scorers not just jump shooters like those of the SUNS.
The Clippers Plan B could be the guards because I always thought Elton Brand was always optiona (A) and who on either the Lakers squad or the Suns squad will stop him??? Let alone Slow him down???

Suspend Kobe? Did you happen to see the game?
Anyways, the verdict is in. Raja's officially suspended for Game 6. You had to know this was coming. There was really no way you can take a shot at Kobe, arguably the face of the league for the past few years, and expect to just get away with it.
It's pretty big news, I would say. If you know the triangle offense, you know that Kobe and Lamar switched places over the series, with Lamar as the scoring option and Kobe as the passing option. I fully expect Kobe to score 40 next game and move back into the scoring option role. Everything will be exactly the same with post feeding, just Lamar feeding Kobe instead of the other way around. I can't see the Suns winning the next game. They just don't have the personnel. Bring on the Clips.

it wouldn't have mattered if he was suspended or not. The suns are still gonna lose. Well at least laker fans are gonna be saving money since clipper home game tickets are cheaper than laker home games.
Suns can beat them, no doubt without bell or not. Suns just need to keep doing what they were doing.
Like James Jones doing those hard fouls on kwame to fuck his game up, or Diaw..
Actually the key to the whole game is Diaw. We get another good game from his ass, then suns can still win this. He won the Most Improved, and he showed it last night. Now he needs to show the lakers One more time why he did it, and it's back to the valley of the sun.

Kobe should still miss the game for instigating.
But clearly the NBA loves him as is proven by pretty much this entire series.
I'm with Potter.
Go everyone but the lakers.

Jeff Van Gundy is an old white prick. Arenas throwing his jersey into the crowd isn't some antic, that shit is for the kids.
Why don't you go back to Houston and force them to play the most boring basketball on the planet Jeff and stop trying to be an announcer. Dickhead.
I think Al Michaels said the same thing last year, old white people are stupid. If the NBA had more players like Gilbert and Ron Artest ( Ron Artest wants to win so fucking bad, he is just a little crazy which sucks ) the league would be way more entertaining.
Old white people are trying so hard to ruin football too, I hate old white people.

The Suns hate is strong in this thread....
Obviously, it's been a playoff letdown for the Suns whether or not they win this series; like previously stated, they just don't have the personnel to make it deep into the playoffs even if they do win this series. Honestly, I'm looking forward more to next year where we'll have a healthy Amare (cross your fingers for the summer basketball stuff...World Championships right?) and Kurt Thomas. Going away from this season, you can't be anything but optimistic...hopefully Tim Thomas comes back, and Diaw can only get better. I'm throwing in the towl early...hoping they'll come back hungrier and possibly with a chip on their shoulder for Round 2.
As for the Raja Bell thing...I won't defend it, honestly. Like I said, it was cool for a moment to see the Game 4 assassin taken down like that, but it was an overall dumb move. Looking back, I realize shit like that is for pickup basketball...but I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing (albeit more subtle...and less...violent...)
Let's hope for a clean 6 and 7 shall we?

why wasn't Brown suspended but Bell is?

Cuz Brown was shaking off a flagrant from Diaw just a split second before. Diaw was tied up on him and Brown was like "get the fuck off me". He got a technical and rightfully so.
Raja on the other hand knew what he wanted to do. And he was "retaliating" for this shot to his "jaw":

Bell was brought onto the suns team for a reason...
To play D on Manu Ginoboli...
So what's the problem?
Flopping is something that almost everyone can do, i don't see the point of complaining about it.
I admit, i use to hate manu for the same reasons, but then someone came onto my home team that does the same thing, and it gets those few possessions.
It's just who wants the grammy more.
You can complain about size and shit of the other team, but something like flopping...to me seems stupid to complain about.
No one on my team has a shooter like kobe, and I don't fucking complain about it.
