im down for the fantasy league.
clippers... they improved a little bit, because they signed Mekhi Phifer to play shooting guard  Mekhi plays no D most of the time, except when he's motivated, like, when he is guarding a star, like Kobe Bryant ( i know this because I used to watch Mekhi play for the Houston Rockets for years), but his jumpshot is good (sometimes... :xeye: )

Re-posted from old thread:
The Spurs signed Van Exel just recently (and presumably on the cheap). I think it's a good pickup because they can always use another three point shooter and he can play either guard position (if either Udrih or Bones is in a funk); plus they still have the same offer on the table for Finley (who it looks like is probably going to be on the Heat and who is better off going to Denver IMO). I'd probably rather see them get Luis Scola this year, but I can't complain because they still have his NBA rights.
I'd like to join the league but I know that if I do I'm going to end up not playing and being a waste of a spot.

Also, I hope my Suns don't get GGPO'ed.

They got James Jones from the Pacers; I understand he's a decent shooter and could score when he was starting, but they need that second playmaker if they want to do well again.
Maybe D'Antoni will end up adjusting their style again now that they have some frontcourt depth and lost Q and Johnson; as it stands, Nash and Stoudemire still did pretty well for themselves in the halfcourt against the Spurs and Crazy Eyes can't be that bad.

I disapprove of Chandler's pricey negotiation as well, but I don't blame him, nor do I frown upon any professional athlete who asks for more than they're actually worth. If you're Tyson Chandler and you just saw the deal Samuel Dalembart got, you wouldn't be settling for anything less either. And neither would you if an inferior/comparable co-worker were making more money than you.
If anything, it was Chicago management's mistake for allowing somebody else to set the market price for Chandler.

I didn't think the Spurs stood a chance considering that the Suns could have offered him a starting role and the Heat had the full mid-level exception to give him (and Denver had both...they've got to be kicking themselves that they weren't even in the hunt for Finley). On a positive (sort of) note for the rest of the league, Glenn Robinson and Devin Brown are probably looking for jobs now.

Indy is one Ron Artest blowup away from being the 2nd seed in the East. Top seed will probably be Miami, with D-Troit 3rd or 2nd depending on Artest. Then the Nets round out #4.
I don't know where all this love for Houston is coming from, is EVERYONE chinese up in this motherfucker?
But yeah, I must admit, I love watching Yao play. So fucking entertaining, lmao. Stromile Swift was a VERY good pickup for them. Allows Juwon Howard to come off the bench and have more productive minutes, and gives them a LOT of help in one of their major lacking categories, rebounds. Swift is also very quick on the help defense. Houston was already one of the top 4 defensive teams in the league, and they just got another quick shot blocker and rebounder.
HOWEVER, Stromile is not really a prolific scorer. Between T-mac and Yao you'd think Houston wouldn't have any problems putting points on the board but their offense is surprisingly stagnant at times. Also... they STILL need a good point guard. Sura is injury prone and Mike James is a good, solid BACKUP PG a la Charlie Ward at best.

According to ESPN, Michael Finley is signing with the Spurs. The just rich get richer. They're definitely my early favorites to take it all.
If anything, it was Chicago management's mistake for allowing somebody else to set the market price for Chandler.
I agree wholeheartedly. GM John Paxson has really been snoozing this off-season. The Bulls last year did a good job, but we all know they overachieved. But Paxson has basically stood pat, the only acquisitions being rookie free agent Eddie Basden and the Kings' Darius Songaila. He needs to lock the Twin Toddlers down.
Chandler and Dalembert have comparable stats, and Chandler has every right to hold out for as much as Sam is getting, and probably more, because Tyson was a bigger part of the Bulls' success than Sam was the Sixers'.
GeoG2
08-31-2005, 09:06 PM
Put yourself in Paxson's shoes. You give Tyson his money... how the hell are you going to resign the other players? This isn't rocket science... GMs have to take into consideration the worth of other players in the near future. Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng could all possibly be max contract players. Paxson has to pick and choose who to pay and lock carefully.
I don't blame him for waiting. I sure as hell wouldn't blow all that money on one player this early.

I'm not saying you give him a max deal. I saying you try to lock him up before a comparable player, like Dalembert, signs and sets the market. Chandler and Curry both made strides last season and showed their worth. Did you see how the Bulls floundered in the playoffs with Curry out and Chandler in foul trouble throughout the series? They're worth keeping, the team is really built around them. But I think Pax is gonna dump Curry this season, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's lowballing Tyson.

The problem Chandler is being a bitch about this. He wants his max deal. So what is Paxson to do?
Chandler still has no offensive talent... he's a bigger Ben Wallace in the making. And Curry's health has everyone worried. These reasons are why no other team has been in a rush to scoop these guys up... they're not worth a lot of money right now. But to keep them Chicago has to pay up? Forget that.
I'd keep Curry though. Him, Gordon and Hinrich at the least... everyone else can go. Paxson screwed up when he decided to keep Duhon.

tyson chandler can play defense (blocks, rebounds) and is a 7-footer who can clog the lane. if u think about it, he was part of the reason why the bulls went into the playoffs. offensively, he can score when he's available and when the team needs him to score IMO. when i look at his stats, he pulls down rebounds and accounts for most blocks on the team.
so i think tyson should be a lockout, but considering the payments, he should get a decent amount.
LucasBishop
09-02-2005, 12:10 PM
Well Tyson is signed. 6 years, $63 million, that he can boost to around $80 mil, should he meet all the incentives. As for Eddy, I think he's just gonna take the qualifying offer and be an unrestricted F.A. next year. The Bulls aren't gonna budge, I don't think.
edit
The Bulls signed Malik Allen today. With him, along with Songaila and Harrington on the roster, Paxson has clearly prepared to let Curry go.

Paul Pierce to Denver? Insidehoops.com is reporting The Celts are trading Pierce to the Nuggets for F/C Nene and PG Andre Miller. Someone else, such as Eduaro Najera, could be thrown in to make the money match. Makes sense, as the Nugs just signed Earl Watson, have Earl Boykins, and have desperately been seeking a 2 all offseason. You know they've got to hate giving up Nene, if this true though. But perhaps a change of scenery is best for him.

Cleveland should be vastly improved this year. They got what they were lacking last year.
Marshall is a severly underrated PF who could start for most teams in the league. He can shoot, rebound and play decent defense.
Damon Jones gives them an outside presence they lacked for alot of last year. There is no question the guy can shot the three.
Larry Hughes is well Larry Hughes, he will get about 2.5 steals per game and get you about 20 points.
This will allow Eric Snow to play more of his style of ball. Say what you want about Snow, no he cant shot at all but he can play D and he can pass really well.

The Spurs have now become the SONY Entertainment of basketball by aquireing Finley and my homie Nick the quick which makes them a losk in my eyes for the championship.
There bench will be able to competete with most teams starting 5's all season.
Come playoff time they have enough veterans to run away with the title, defense i think will pick up but scoreing will in a major way.
The Rockets are dangerous or seem to be that way because of how well they clicked last year, though they don't score high, if there defense stays where it was last year they will go further than the first round, because Mutumbo for some reason looked like his old defensive self side by side with Yao, the clutch shooters were on point, and Tracy was just Tracy.
Detroit got no real free acts and look the same, which will hurt them in the long run(Late in the season).
Miami even with loseing Damon still pose a great threat and Indiana is now truely the number 2 team.
The rest of the east sucks, including philly YEAH I SAID IT HOME TOWN SUCKS.

Lower expectations for the Lakers.... i guess the lakers will have nothing more than a playoff spot =(
Scottie Pippen is training Odom...
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is special asst. coach
Phil and Kobe having a better relationship...Phil is going to re-establish kobe as the first team (last year kobe was 3rd)
i can't tell if i'm excited or not, but i wanna see how the lakers will come out next season
Miami looks beastly this year.....

1. I don't want to take credit away from Yao - but I woudl hardly consider him bulking up this summer something special - he prolly wanted to do it before but if you remember he's been balling nonstop since before his rookie season - this was his first summer "off". I'm actully less concerned about bulk and mroe concerned about agility - can he reall move well...shaq is big but he's also agile *or was depending on how you look at it*.
2. Geo - your the man - I agree with dam near everything you've said in this thread. Cleveland finally has the pieces to step their game up - I don't think they'll be contenders yet - I'm concered about their team defense THIS year...next year though I honestly expect them to be able to compete for the eastern chip. San Antonio just won another ring...no one is going to be able to touch them - their bench is only comparable by *maybe* the Pacers and Miami - but they have Coach that will massage all the players into a nasty rotation.
3. I pick Pacer/SA final as of right now...of course injuries and trades can change all that - but with current rosters thats what I see. I like som of Miami's moves - hate the Walker one - that was a waste of money. The club has too much stuff going on to focus - I expect them to fumble thruought the gate and have a very up and down season putting together an impressive streak post all-star game and losing to Indiana in the East. Out West - Uhm all the teams got weaker except LA who went up a little - and San Antonio who bascially just put their ten bux down to reserve the Chip. I think LA is going to do surprisingly well - look for Phil to try and point Kobe in a more Jordan-esque role - getting him to FINALLY use Lomar Odom in the post - by convincing him that with Sha gone he is the #1 option. Seattle will fall off. Phoenix I think will do well - but not as well as last year - I just don't see them lighting the torch to the same level they did last season. I expect Dallas to pull a blockbuster trade when they find the current roster doesn't stand a chance at playoff success. It gets more and more stripped down - I expect them to try and lock up an all-star - this should be very pheasible to with some big names hitting free agency next summer.
4. KG is my pick for next player to go to court for hurting someone in the franchise. He's going to clock McHale for not getting enough done. There is nothing mroe you can ask of the Man-Child - he's one of the few players who I think earns every penny he gets - and he watched them build the team up his contract year - but watched it wither after they had him locked up. I expect him to try and bail and keep your eye out for a possible move to Chicago where they have a big man who shoudl complement him well defensively and possibly offensily *Tyson*, they have merchandise they could package up and trade for Garnett, they have a solid team being built up that feels like it just needs that one major player to get them over the top - usually you see teams needing to fill around a player but this team is filled up looking for that player.

The Bulls traded Eddy Curry to the Knicks. for what, John Paxson wouldn't say. But he's gone. Damn. I'm really disappointed.

Anybody else hear this latest Kwame Brown story? Turns out the real reason he missed that playoff practice is because he would have slapped Gilbert Arenas for apparently telling Eddie Jordan not to play him...which is pretty hilarious. Especially considering he called Arenas and in essence backed off of what he said.
So, yeah, I think it's pretty safe to say Kwame's a bitch. I don't think he can blame this little episode on Jordan calling him a faggot.

I like this trade.
Mike James' contract is like $7 million total for two more years. Rafer's is like $23 million over the next five. This means that the only players we have under contract for in 2007/2008 are Alvin Williams ($6.85 million) and team options for the rookies. That gives us like $45-50 million to play with in two years. Just in time to resign Bosh. That's good. Anytime you can dump contracts like that for similiar talent, it's good.
We're giving more talent overall, yes. I like Rafer, but he's not that great. He put up 14.2/6.4 last year, but that's not reflective of how good he is. Toronto's a jumpshooting team, so any assist numbers are going to be bloated. Rafer didn't do that great of a job creating shots - and he would never dump it to Bosh in the post for some reason. Mike James can't push the ball that well, but it's not a huge loss. And I bet Alston's going to get along great with T-Mac.
Mike James plays good defense. Rafer plays terrible defense. And Mike James is a better spot-up shooter than Rafer and knows when to shoot. Meaning no more of Rafer jacking up random three's with 15 seconds left on the shotclock.
Also, it means that they really like Jose Calderon. He might be starting material then. And I'd rather have a veteran like Mike James to work with Calderon and Ukic than a guy like Rafer.
I think it's a good trade.
As for the randomness and odd timing of it...I think it had to do with Jay Williams deciding to hold off on his return. When Houston couldn't sign him to help out their PG spot, they traded for Alston instead.
________
Where's Spree going to? I bet that $27 million extension he rejected looks mighty fine now. What a crazy guy.
________
I never heard that stuff about Kwame. That's hilarious stuff - but to be fair, Arenas is crazy too. I'm hoping for lots of interesting subplots to develop in Kobe Town.

I'm just happy A.Will is returning =D
I can't explain why but he is my favourite Raptor...
Because he's ALL HEART BABY. And he had a wicked crossover and was a clutch shooter in our "glory days" (when we could still make the playoffs).
Alvin's my all-time favourite Raptor too. Though I still love Vince.
I want to be there opening day just so I can cheer when he steps back on court. I don't even think anyone knows for sure if he's coming back or not. Hopefully the Alston trade means they have confidence that he can fill in some minutes at the point.
And I want him to fulfill my dream of watching a line-up with the same names. Assuming we sign Corey Williams out of training camp...
PG - Corey Williams
SG - Alvin Williams
SF - Eric Williams
PF - (I was really hoping we could sign Jerome Williams when he got amnestied)
C - Aaron Williams
If Vince had Alvin's heart...man, I don't even want to think about it. Which is the cooler name - Alvin Carter or Vince Williams? I think Vince Williams is a fucking awesome name.
And check out the new-look Araujo...

Once again People are forgetting KWAME WAS A KID, and in my eyes still is.
Just because you start making millions, doesn't mean you were fully PREPARED for what comes along with it, Since he wasn't yet taught, and grumed into how to be a man he didn't handle the pressure well, the critisim etc, Plus everyone is making fun of him, Why not make fun of the organization who tried to put THERE WHOLE FUTURE on him in the first place, the objective should be to bulid a TEAM BASED atmosphere, You telling me The wizards did that when they first got Kwame???
Hell No they didn't Rip Hamilton was held back, can anybody tell me why?
Jerry Stackhouse ended up wasting away,(But he has shown he still has usefulness in Dallas)
Jahadi White and Brandon Haywood who did play games but were never really used right.
Larry Hughes who probably was the only one playing defense.
Almighty faggot ass Micheal Jordan who if you all watched the games, put them in bad situations, though they fought back hard from them and won some close games that season, look at home many shots he would put up a night with YOUNG and UPCOMING Guards ready for the picking behind him.
This is also why I feel so strongly about the age factor, it should be more about there maturity level than there playing abilities etc, Pac-Man who plays for the NFL's Tennesse Titans is an example this guy got in so much trouble BEFORE ever signing a contract it makes you wonder "Why did we even Draft him".
You hear about these kids with high ass hotel bills cause they calling all the chicken heads they meet on the road, See once you gain the Sense to know that it is a game and have fun while playing it but...
It is also a job these teams, this league practically owns you once you sign that contract, everything you say and do is now a reflection of not your parents or high school you attended, but a reflection of your Organization, Indiana looked bad as an organization to many because of the brawl in detroit, people critisized them for having so many young players, and black players at that, players who were naturally from the hood and it showed that night (Thats what the critics would say not me)
Mike James plays good defense. Rafer plays terrible defense. And Mike James is a better spot-up shooter than Rafer and knows when to shoot. Meaning no more of Rafer jacking up random three's with 15 seconds left on the shotclock.
I agree with most of your post. If its true though, that Rafer doesnt play good D... then that is going to have to change. With JVG coaching the Rockets, I think that is the most important key in his coaching system. Defense. The Rockets might have to put more attention on him, to work on his defensive skills. It could be done though. I think that many people thought that T-mac was only a scoring/offensive person. In last year's playoffs against Dallas, T-mac shut down Dirk. Unfortunately, other Dallas players stepped it up.
I am not too familiar with Rafer, but from what I hear, he might help out the Rockets on the offensive end.

Rafer doesn't play great man-to-man, but he has quick hands - averaged 1.5 steals last year. But that's because he gambles for steals sometimes, so I don't think that's going to happen with JVG's system.
Rafer's a pretty good passer and with do well in an up-tempo offense because he can push the ball. So with good finishers on the wing (unlike in Toronto) like T-Mac or Swift, he should help you on the breaks much more than James.
He was also one of the only guys on Toronto that could penetrate consistently, but like I said, his 6.4 assists is not reflective of his point guard ability considering that we're a jump-shooting team.
And he's not as good as a spot-up shooter as James was, so I'm not completely sure if it was a good trade for Houston or not. Since T-Mac brings the ball up half the time anyway, I don't know how great of a point guard you'll need.
But Rafer's a good guy, and I like him. Hope he does well in Houston.

co-sign. JVG makes everybody plays Defense. Before TMAC came to houston, fans in orlando called him Tracy McGra(No)D  ..now, he hustles on D cuz JVG makes everybody play D
EDIT: Rafer used to be called "Skip to my Lou" when he was a AND-1 player. but in his nba career so far, at least judging from recent years in toronto/miami, he he can pass the ball and can hit the open 3  tmac+ yao= lots of open 3s  :karate:

Yeah, I hope he does well here too.
To tell you the truth, I was a bit surprised when I heard that they traded Mike James. I personally thought he did well on our team. I mean, I think he did ok in the playoffs. What I liked about James was that he can drive in towards the paint, and that he can play a bit on the outside too. He's good in my book. However, I didnt expect this... but oh well. Im pretty sure that Toronto and Houston's front office knows what they were doing.
I liked the chemistry that the Rockets had last year. I heard (well, ESPN.com says) that Rafer is/was a hot head and a trouble maker in Toronto. I didnt want Rafer to come to our team and mess up what we already had going, chemistry wise.
Rafer was on one of our sports radio stations here in Houston, and he said that all that is not true. That yeah, there's been sometimes that he's lost his cool, but that coming to this organization, that he has alot to prove.

I still think it was a silly move on houstons part to give him up for Alston,
I mean Im thinking its someone else out there who can run the point and night get to much in the way of Tracy and Yao besides Alston???
Sprewell is stuck unless someone like Detroit picks him up to come off the bench or maybe the Raptors so they can have enough veterans, I dont see him playing or getting picked up until a major injury happens to a shooting guard/small forward
He really hasn't been the same since leaving New York I think they drained him while in NY.
Oh if KG's Smart NOW IS THE TIME TO LEAVE, I don't care how much a city claims to love you and want to keep you, they had a poor shot at building a team around him, True its not all Cassell's fault he couldn't stay healthy, and no one really played defense, Sprewell was nolonger an offensive threat, Wally was lost on the bench for a while, Hudson got hurt and didn't recover well, NO real big man except for KG, BEcause Kani-man was a real disappointment.

Stuff like that is always blown out of proportion. The media loves it, and anyone who ever talked back to a coach, chews out a teammate, or rushes into a crowd of Pistons fan swinging is automatically labelled a "locker room cancer." Psh.
Rafer gets frustated with losing. And to be fair, it was the Toronto Raptors. So much stupidity went on last year with the organization that I don't blame anyone from last year for hating this place. Everyone forgets that Rafer was great in Miami - then when he came to Toronto he was automatically a nutcase. Come on now.
Though apparently in college, he dropped a set of dumb bells on some guy's balls. That (along with some woman's lawsuit against MoPete for giving her herpes) was an excellent source of jokes last year. Hopefully I can pass that gift along to you.

u could put him on the waivers even before the Waiver date. it will automatically switch ur roster around when the clock ticks to 12am.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/4923306
"Alonzo Mourning has his occasional moments — blocking shots, rebounding, putting back teammates' misses — yet his self-aggrandizing act is hard to take. In truth, Zo-Mo is also a loser. "
"If Grant Hill plays more than 25 minutes per game, he'll need a walker to make his way up and down the court by the end of February."
"Brian Hill is aloof, arrogant and hard to play for. He will lose the trust and respect of his team just in time for them not to exchange Christmas cards."
"Richard Jefferson should give J-Kidd at least half his salary. One of the most overrated players in the league, Jefferson is a brick-layer, and his highly touted defense is only a sometimes thing"

Hey this is my first time in a fantasy NBA league and hope someone could help me out.
My league is Head - to - head
How does this work? Are the stats on my team roster directly compared to my opponent? Or are they still ranked 1-12 and compared to each other?
For example, Say there's 4 teams. TEam 1 vs 2 and team 3 vs 4. In the first comparison its tracy mcgrady vs lebron james. In the second comparison its Kobe Bryant vs Vince Carter. AFter week one, McGRady has (15 pts, 5 Assist), James has (20 pts, 3 assist), Kobe has (28 pts, 4 assist) and Carter has (25 pts, 1 assist). How would the scoring be determined?
Another Question I have is this. Do I have to switch my players each time they are going to go in the game? Meaning, Say I have Kobe and Tmac on the same team. I start Kobe on Monday because the lakers play. But on Tuesday the lakers dont' play, and the Rockets do, so do i have to start Tmac in order to get his stats?
Also I'm asking this question because I'm a little worried about my team. I got:
PG - Chris Paul
SG - Larry Hughes
G - Jamal Crawford
SF - Tracy McGrady
PF - Dwight Howard
F - Drew Gooden
C - Yao Ming
C - Andrew Bogut
Utility - Rashad McCants
Utility - Matt Carroll
BNCH - Quentin Richardson
BNCH - Michael Finley
BNCH - Gary Payton
VS
PG - Baron Davis
SG - Jason Richardson
G - Chauncy Billups
SF - LeBron James
PF - Marvin Williams
F - Peja Stojakovic
C - Samuel Dalembert
C - Brendon Haywood
Utility - Sam Cassell
Utility - Jamal Tinsley
Bench, Bonzi Wells, M. Sweetney , and A. Daniels (Was)
Is this the correct lineup I should have? I put Quentin Richardson on Bench because of his Hamstring and might not start. Also I'm thinking of letting Rashad McCants go for a free agent player, someone maybe like (Doug Christie, James Posey, Brevin Knight, Bruce Bowen, Raja Bell).
So, will I win week one ?

make sure its not a weekly league either (vs daily leagues). weekly leagues are different in that not only do you have to factor in who you have on your team but how many times per week the team plays.
you'll win boards, and blocks he'll win assists, not sure about 3's, q would probably help you out though.

Milwaukee trades Desmond Mason and a no. 1 pick to New Oklahoma City for Jamaal Magloire. Looks like a good trade for Milwaukee (I don't think it really matters for the Hornets because they're going to suck anyways) because they have swingmen, and Magloire gives them a good starting center if The Andrew Bogut Experience turns out to be lackluster. Heck, they might even play together at the same time.

Bucks are making a playoffs push, and I think they're signing Magloire for two years while Bogut develops. I can't see them keeping him once his contract expires. I guess the trade was to make playing time for Bobby Simmons.
Desmond Mason is awesome though. Magloire's worth him and an unprotected first rounder? (though it'll probably be in the 15-20th range)
I don't know - Milwaukee already had Bogut, Dan Gadzuric, and Joe Smith for centers. Now their front court is so packed...do they really need so many?
...any one of them could start for the Raptors though.

I think Sactown should still be the odds-on favorite to win the Pacific (even though I think the contender talk is BS; there's no way they're better than Denver or Houston). I know they played terrible against New Oklahoma City, but I still think Amare being out until the All-Star break is way too long for them to win the division because Sacramento always seems to have a decent regular season.
Didn't manage to see the Spurs save for a few highlights; while it is only their debut, at least Parker played well; I don't know how they're going to make minutes for Udrih (or if they will, for that matter), and Nesterovic starting over Mohammed is intriguing (Nesterovic is considered a strong defensive player, but they're playing 4-on-5 on offense with him).

I was talking to my friend today, and he had some awesome ideas.
First off, all the big dunkers on the Hornets - JR, Chris Andersen, Mason, whatever - are now called...
The Oklahoma City Bombers
"JR blows by his defender, goes hard to the hoop - HE THROWS DOWN A BOMB!!!"
Also, that sets up the following exchange...
*after Desmond Mason throws down a dunk*
Guy #1: OOOOHHHH Mason just went T-MAC on that guy's ass!
Guy #2: ...Tracy McGrady?
Guy #1: Nah man - TIMOTHY MACVEIGH!!!
Hahahahaha I can't stop laughing at that.
I urge everybody to start using this and get it out. Just remember where you heard it first.

man, I can't believe I missed ALL the season openers. Looking at Sportscenter clips of the Bucks, they look like an entirely different team this year. TJ Ford's speed is gonna set up a lot of opportunities for both Redd and Bokut(sp?), really interested to see how their offense is going to develop this year.

Yeah BASKETBALL IS BACK, anyways Detroit looks like there going to make it to the finals again, they still play D and now they are more offensive friendly, remember flip is a offensive genious. The heat look like there going to make it, but not to the finals, GARY PAYTON is a coach killer, plus too many ego's in that team,i am guessing if the heat go 2-12 Stan van is gone, and it will be the perfect oppurtunity for Pat Riley to weasel his way in to coach again, and yeah Knicks are makin it to the playoffs. This is Darkos breakout year by the way.
What can i say about the west, the spurs look dominant or maybe better with finley in the mix, they are making it to the championship again. The suns look weak until amare comes back, I guess the nuggets are the only real obstacle for the spurs, The Mavs also lookin hopefully they will do their best to overcome, I WANT DALLAS TO GO TO THE FINALS OK?!?! lol, anyways the three teams from texas are makin it.

Damn.... Magic loose to the Pacers... Dwight had a bad game and although our defense improved, it still didn't stop Indy's guards from penetration... didn't help that we only hit 3/11 3pts... :-/

Personally I think they made a mistake trading away Desmond Mason. He was a guy that could start or come off the bench and give you 15-20 a night and play at least competent defense.

Lebron has been talking about how it's bothered him that people consider him a poor shooter and that he's been working all summer to add "a new aspect" to his game.
Has he been working all summer on his shot?
Game 1: Fluke or the new-look Lebron?
Lebron had a pretty average game in his other stats however...

Well when you add Damon Jones. Donyell Marshall and Larry Hughes im sure Lebron will take "average stats" for the extra wins those players should previde.
Camby got caught flopping, HAHA. Sorry I laugh at anyone who gets caught flopping and why is everyone just throwing Seattle to the side. They won there damn division last year and gave the Spurs fits but everyone is just casting them off as a lucky year.

First game for Baron Davis and he already injures himself -_-
Seems like a hamstring injury, nothing big...
Warriors are murdering the Hawks BTW.
