LMFAO Matches with Thoth were hilarious and fun. When we were playing random and we both got grapplers it was like "Uh, wtf." Plus when Yuri's super went through K' twice, that had me rolling.

But yeah ggs to Thoth and someone name Chi198 or something similar to that. Didn't get to play you Tolgata since I was playing them when you invited me and when I invite you they would join. But yup had some fun games tonight.




5 people were online on my friend list and NONE of them accepted my friends list. i ended up haveing to play fucking Flawless Killas.runaway runaway. i kicked his ass mind you, but it was boooooreinnnnng. i do give him credit on something though. hes got the machine gun fireballs going with ash. how does he DO that! as far as i know, there isnt any charge partitioning in this game.... nor is there overlapping charge times. that i know of.

Yeah, those were some good games. I liked how we kept going back and forth on wins. For the record, that's the first time I've picked Jhun without randoms. Not an excuse though, as I thought it would be a counter to your Mai. Then you didn't pick Mai, and I was like, okay then.

The Yuri super doesn't do much anyway unless you charge it, so I wasn't worried if you had hit me with what you had there.

also, GGs to ramero kinda. he picked duolon in the last match so i dropped. ramero isnt bad in theory, but the match always starts out with hell delay on my end, so he has his way with me for about the first 10 seconds, putting me at a huge disadvantage (i almost ALWAYS get hit with ioris LDM at the start). i cant beat the guy though, delay and top tiers combined.

I don't play Yamazaki alot but I think if you hit him when he's baiting you, then block low right after it doesnt land. I'm not sure about that tho...just remember playing kenmaster's yamazaki and that happened a few times each match.

Lol ggs to you Setoshin even for you been drunk they were fun matches. As for Yamazaki's little counter thing, it depends on what character you are using/distance. You can do Ash's hard punch from far away and the counter will activate but you will have time to block. It is the same with some of Mai's air moves since she lands fast on some of them, she will have time to block.

Those first few matches...I couldn't land combos worth shit. I probably should have practiced first. But I eventually started to get it back.

That time I picked Leona and Ralf...I didn't mean to at all. I don't even know their moves, if you couldn't tell.

I knew I pissed you off a little with King against Maxima, but she was my last character and I wasn't going to rush at that bastard when I could throw fireballs and try to keep him away. And, once we started randoming, with Malin but the thing with her...is I didn't know how to play as her...so I just kept going back-and-forth across the screen with her flying move.

Also, I would have played some 2k2 with you...but I don't play it. I was just messing around to waste time; which is why I switched to 2k3.

Overall, I thought it was a good set.

My only complaint was my playing. It was soo sub-par that I could cry. I messed up tick throws with Yama and Iori; as well as command grabs on characters coming in. I also fucked up combos out the ass; and supers. Oh, and Shen's command grab link. It was sad.

There's a good reason for it though. It is about 40 degrees (as opposed to 75 normally) in my room...and I couldn't play worth a shit because of my hands being stiff from the cold. I don't normally mess up but, around, twice a set...ask Mycah (seeing as how I've played the most with him).

And I chuckled a bit when you almost OCVed me with Chang because I know he's not that high of a tier. See...before 2k3 I hadn't really played KoF before. Yeah, once you understand the basics of fighters (you do) it's really just about knowing the motions for supers/moves and knowing if you can JD/Parry/whatever. Of course, in KoF almost every super is :qcf: :hcb: and it only has rolling no JD no parry nothing. :rofl:

the lag on 2k2 is a step worse than on 03. if you would get a connection on 03 that said Very Fast, then when you play that same person on 02, its gonna say fast, but only play like it said slow. youll useually get Very Slow with people. 03 has little to no lag 90% of the time.

Yeah, GGs to you as well. I was suprised as hell to learn that Shingo could stop Iori's cross-up so easily; and I kept forgetting about it and trying. Also, your Gato is a straight beast. I haven't played many Gatos, but still...your Gato is definatly the best I've played.

I can beat Romero if I really try. He usually has problems w/ grappler characters. I have a lot of success w/ Tizoc. My problem is I usually find it too much trouble to try to win against him cause I have to be more patient, so I usually end up screwing around instead. He's good practice using random for me.

Indeed. However, I really need to learn more about the game as whole, though. Things like which characters have overheads, which characters have unblockables (and their ranges), which attacks have more priority, which attacks have long start-up/recovery, etc.

I don't know what happened the first game we played, but my Maxima had to come back and take out your whole team with like half his life. I was scared :sweat:

I always keep a Green Bar in Halo 2 unless something fishy is going about and I get host like 7 times out of 10, and in about a month or so I''m upgrading my speed to 8.0MB for an extra $20 a month.

My lag problem seems to be something wrong with the router. I was getting my rear handed to me the lag was so bad, so I took out the wire from the net and waited 1 minute then plugged it in. I played the same guy and we had no lag. I'm thinking my computers are messing with the net line somehow. I have them networked together in a way where I never have to mount them. that might be causing problems. Dunno if you have a similar system in your home.

Kudos to you on some good quality color edits for your characters. Your Yuri is a pretty tough cookie...some great timing on her supers and you tagged me quite a few times with her Lvl. 2 Super (always wondered what its real use was and you helped me find out about that quick) But damn, I really was hoping to catch it just ONCE with Yamazaki and reverse it :rofl: Very good Robert, Whip and Yamazaki as well. There sure isn't a lot of players but I can honestly say, 90% of the people still playing are good shit. I'd rather play one person for an hour, and have GG's then play 4 or 5 people in an hour and have half the games suck/bad connection/gimmicky tactics etc.

I run my xbox through my PC so generally I leave a little window open in the corner of my screen for KOF to wait for players. Then I hit up the message boards and whatever. Sometimes I forget the game is even there but eventually someone comes along.
