GG's to Counting Gardens You have a lot of potiential. Sorry about being mean w/ Tizoc. Thought I would give you an idea on how to play him. Try the light kick like I used against you in the air and light sweep into the throw works well. Especially if you back him into a corner. It can be nasty. Other then that I like how quick you're getting the throw off. It really kept me on my toes.

Yeah, this is basically the first KOF game (Besides Max Impact) I've played thoroughly, due to the fact my town has never had any KOF cabinets. I've been used to Street Fighter's Zangief, so Tizoc is kind of interesting. His throw goes off a lot quicker and you can punch someone into it, which is neat. Indeed good games, and I'll try to get better at this one. I just which Psycho Sword had a little more priority :sad:

GG's to Setoshin I had a blast. Thanks for showing me how to directly link my modem to the xbox. Felt like such a newbie when I didn't think of it. One of thease days I gotta respect the no style threat.

Also Counting Gardens Dang you improved. You added quite a bit to your Tizoc and I still can't afford to make big mistakes against him. Only thing I notice if you are looking to school me Joe is not the best leader move to finish me off. I can knock him out of it at any time. I would go after your Tizoc or bring back your Iori w/ his leader move it's hard to get away. Setoshin got in the same situation you were in a bunch of times, but schooled me with Kyo's No Style Leader Move. Just a thought, but the game we had ruled. Too bad it was lag riddled.

Yeah, those were some good games. I'm understanding how to use Tizoc a lot more. As for Joe, yeah, I was just experimenting with his super, and I had no idea someone could trip me out of it... I'm been slamming it on noobs all day, so I figured it was near invincible. Thanks for that piece of knowledge tho.. It kind of acts like a counter move in a sense.

Btw, good games to Bean I as well.

Dave ditto. Just wish I could understand why the game kept whiffing moves w/ the speed the game was going at. It made no sense. I was way too frustrated by it by the end and it was a shame cause the matches got intense. Missed those kinda roach games.

Wtf? I randomed my first match against Divino and got the worst team ever and got owned, so I picked a team I'm good with the second time, and whooped his ass down. Ended the set 12-4. Nigga ain't very good, you just gotta figure him out then he can't do shit.

I'm not saying he's the best of the best. But mad props to anyone who can use just about all of the characters as well as he can. I'm sure if I picked my main chars I could have beat him as well. Just giving him his due credit.

I played a Japanese guy last night, can't remember his name. He started with the top three characters, then work his way down using each team. After using all the teams he went random. He won some, lost some, but I thought that was a pretty cool thing. I've never actually seen anyone use the designated teams before.

Anytime someone doesn't use the same handful of characters over and over again is a good thing in my book.

Just played El Divino (not Xmas, I assume it's the same guy). Pretty good games but I think I gave him too much credit before. If it wasn't for his 'K I don't think he'd be nearly as good. Once he starts the corner trap it's pretty much all over. I'm not too sure if 'K's trap is considered bullshit but I certainly couldn't get out without loosing 75% each time I got cornered.

GGs to xXKollXx. Sorry about using the same team over and over...but I gotta get some practice in with them. I just got back to playing this after about 1-2 months of not touching it. And I've was just playing SSV right before I went to that; so I was all fucked up.

But man...I was doing horrible. I was used to all the bullshit that 2k3 does (with the loose controls), but it looks like I'm back to day 1 again. I'll get back to where I was eventually, but it looks like it's going to be a long time from now. I mean...I couldn't even do anything with Kyo at all, and I was pretty bad ass with him right before I quit; same with Billy. I also couldn't remember how to throw which way with which character...at first I was trying to hold the direction...and then later I felt like a dumbass. I was really just throwing out random moves and hoping they'd hit because I couldn't get anything to work anyways.

How about Yama nurfing Robert's super fireball? I wasn't sure what would happen but figured I try it. I couldn't get his LDM to work even once for some reason. There was mild lag but I've pulled it off in much worse then that.

The lag was pretty bad on my end for a little while, but it pretty much cleared up. I also liked when I did Yamas LDM and you did a Yuri super or something, and we both just stood there after they were over like "Oh, neither of us hit??" :rofl:

Yeah it was wierd, like the first couple matches were silky smooth then the lag monster came and sat his fat ass down. Maybe next time will be better.

I work 10 hour graveyard shifts so I try to get to sleep around Noon.

There were a couple other weird things that happened but I can't remember all of them.
King's super went through a few things I didn't know it could. I followed your Whip super with Yama's grab super. That was another experimental ditty.
Damn there was something else that went through a projectile.. it was a normal move..
eh I forget, anyway GG's. I'ma go crash.

Lots of close matches. There was one that ended with Malin vs Yuri, barely any health. Stick and move stick and move. I think that was the one time ran out. Was good shit.

I've actually never really minded fighting her. She can be abused. But it's been a long time since I've really seen anyone pull maximum cheese with her. I think the rank whores have all found other characters that are more broken.
And when we had Mai vs Malin, that shit was crazy! First time I had a character with equal speed. One of these days I'll toss her in practice mode just so I can see what her moves are about. Aside from her speed I think most people's problems are that they don't know wtf is going on.

GG's Capn. I donno why, I keep thinking I'm against Akuma when Yama's LDM comes at me I jump back then foolishly stick out a foot. Also, I didn't knwo his grab-super hit low. Lesson learned.

I've added some new chars to my roster. Mai, Maxima and Joe, are me experimentals. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep Maxima around. I'm just not feelin his style.
Joe seems kinda bland. I'm trying to come up with a style with him that doesn't revolve around projectile spam. Mai is here to stay fo sho. I thought she was cheesy at first but now I see she's fragile when hit. I don't feel so bad about using her anymore. Lots of moves, I like variety.

Off topic: From what I have notice, the few people that play Shingo forget about that Shinjo has a pretty good aresenal of mind games. For example, YOU ALL FORGET ABOUT HIS COMMAND ROLL, qcb+p, it is too good to go into his dp+k into what ever since if you use hard punch or hard kick up close and right into the roll, you will land right behind them, the other character will most likely block so hey, free hits for you. But meh, i hate shingo you people find how to use him >.>
