She was getting owned in close range but maybe I just have to learn her better. She's got no pokes at all it seems.

GG to everybody I played. Finally I kof game live, unfortunally KOF02 wasnt so great. Well 2k3 is not bad so THE K-FORCE will be representing, also GG to my boy DONNIE DARKO98 I just took 1st from him, make sure you guys play him his a top player from the K4Z.

The best part about it is that nobody is using DUOLON thats fucking awesome. I've only played 1 that was using him and he got it on random so thats cool.

supers are kinda fucked in this game. i can do double hcb all day on cvs2, but i cant do one to save my life on 03. otherwise i would be a hawkguy player :tdown:

I'm still learning KoF though...one match and one character at a time.
I've always wanted to get a KoF scene going around home but no one will play more than a few matches and want to play something else so my experience is very limited and I'm really glad to see SNKP releasing so many good titles on XBL this year!

Mr. Karatey (given me around 30 losses), Violent Kain (around 50 loses), AZN WARLORD (3~5 loses), and Ramero510 (around 10 losses). Those are the only people I can ever find online...when does everyone play (cause these guys are obviously beating my ass)?

I am getting better though. I beat Mr. Karatey once (he was Ryo - leader, Duolon, Iori; and I was Shingo - leader, King, Ash). And, on average, would leave him with only one character in the end. My biggest problem is that I can't really combo that well...so my whole game is pokes :tdown:

GGs man. I had a horrible time against your Mai, Athena, and Blue Mary (you're the first person that's used them against me). And yeah, Shingo is hard to use seriously because of his lack of...everything (thinking about replacing him but it's just fun to beat people with Shingo).

I'm better than what my win/loss says. I have over 100 losses and less than 30 wins. But, as I've said in previous posts, until today I had only played good high-ranked (since those aren't the same thing) players. So when I beat some of the high-ranked players that are only moderate...they get pissed; and I think it's hilarious.

Circular: One good way to avoid this is to simply not join any games marked "Character: ALL". I've fallen prey to not checking this column once or twice, and after those instances, I figured out the obvious: Anyone who sets it to "All" just wants to pick Adel and/or Maki Kagura. Just spend the moment to check that column, and stay away if it's on "All."

Me, I kinda wish SNK could develop a good AI, and a fair 'boss team' to face instead of overpowered nonsense. It's not like they're blowing the money on anything else; moving to Atomiswave didn't get us new sprites, so surely they can budget some decent coders. If we can get CONVINCING BOTS in FPS games, we can get good fighting game AI. If we did, it'd cut down on the 'need' for unfair boss characters that would creep into multiplayer games.

Thanks. Same to you. I'm surprised anyone is GG'ing me after the shit I've pulled. I have a lot of times in which I choke and get throughly frustrated with myself. I find that once I get on the Yamazaki roll (with the corner trap tricks), after I'm forced to slow down, it's tough to get back going if I don't have a good 2nd character. But I'm trying to learn so new people, so I'm throwing Athena into the mix.

Ah, just some of the time with Yama and Athena. For some reason, I could hardly get my blocked d.B~Drill Super to connect tonight. I had the set-up going on several occasions, and then I'd fuck up -- I'd get the duck b, and instead of getting the super, I'd do the normal serpent slash. Annoying to say the least. Then I have to worry about pinning you down again, and versus Robert, that's a chore in itself.

Now, I've only played Koll like 2-3 matches before...good matches; so I expect this to be the same. It was around 2-6 (Koll) and it was all cool. But, then on the next match...he taunts me. Now, why the fuck did you have to disrespect me like that? I consider a taunt to be the biggest slap in the face you can do while playing someone in a fighting game. It's just like saying "Haha! You're fucking horrible...I shouldn't even be wasting my time on you." It pissed me off soo much that I didn't even play in the next match; after which I decided to leave.

Other than that...they were good matches. I have a hard time against the more airbourne characters, due to my team not having solid anti-airs (other than King, but only when she has a special bar). And I haven't even played Kim/Mai enough to know that they could cross-up in the corner with their air attacks...in fact, you're the only person I've played that plays them (remember, I stick to playing the top-10 as much as I can...which is why I have a high rank even though I more losses than wins).

I have based alot of my game off of japanese players. I have the arcadia mook book for kof2k3 and one of the players that was on it had mad defense skills. Which is why i use daimon alot he is very defensive and has some kool counter moves. But i am glad that we could play because alot of people on this game are like if they lose the first game they start the trash talkin sayin you suck and all this trash even thoe you win it just suks some times but we had some damn good games. probly because of the insane amount of LAG on his end. i play him, drop in the first 5 seconds due to lag, accept his challenge again because sometimes, it clears up, but it didnt and we still lagged, so i dropped again (this time i waited about 10 seconds to test it and see if it cleared up after a second, so im standing there jabbing while hes useing K' lag tactics:tdown: ).... and he challenged me again. i decline. again he comes back, i put on my mic and say "look, its really laggy with you, sorry" and decline. AGAIN he comes, decline. 4 more times he challenges me and i decline. from what ive read on the boards, this dude is a douchebag anyways.:rolleyes:

I doubt it. We had played 7 games before the drop. But the 8 game I had him down to his last character while I had Athena and Billy left. His character had very little life left to get pass both of mine. I go in for the kill and then the game freezes and he's gone. :lame:

GG's Zhangefei500! That first match Robert vs Robert was halarious. I had to change up my style after that or we woulda been double KO'ing all day.
The randoms were pretty fun. First time I ever had someone play all random in this game. I'm only good with 6 or 7 chars but I have put just about all of them in practice for a bit so I think that was my advantage. Fun shit.

GGs here too--but man, you must remember things a little differently, because the way I recall the games it was your Daimon who was firmly in control. Great play--I'd heard Daimon was good, but it wasn't until I saw yours that I realized how true it was.

LMFAO Matches with Thoth were hilarious and fun. When we were playing random and we both got grapplers it was like "Uh, wtf." Plus when Yuri's super went through K' twice, that had me rolling.
