Yeah the learning curve is alot different from SF, I wouldnt say harder per se. I had fun with it, but it will take along time to learn. Tried to play CVS2 right after and I had some problems. I like 2k3 though, is 2k4 better?? or is there a 2k4??

nope,
no such thing as 2k4
2k3 is the last installment of the kof series
the next "King of Fighters" will be released on the Atomiswave
it's called KOF XI

why is that the 1st thing ppl do. Thats why there is no variety in street fighter. Everyone doing the same "best" combos. I love the feeling of learning my own shit and having it work.

To each their own i guess. :badboy:

kyo has some lock down shit some guy was using on me. You can counter out of it though. I think he did standing strong punchxx double kick move thing like in cvs2 (paul has it in tekken also) then just do st strong punch into kicks again. It all connects over and over

agreed. i dont mind learning advanced techs for charecters i feel i am comfortable with (like when i started dabbling into kyosuke combos on cvs2, or when i checked out all the links for elenas SA II), but i dont do that till im familiar with the charecter. i wouldnt mind seeing some billy vids or combo sheets now that im familiar with all his moves and such, and same thing for king.

Yup, I just play and see what comes out. If what I'm doing happens to look like someone else's combo and shit, then oh well.

I usually don't go for advance combos though, and would rather just pick off my opponent special move by special move.
