KOF Custom Color Edit!

If it is just simple color edits, like making a gi bright orange or something, just look at the gradient: If the colors go dark to light on a shirt, then make sure the first color is dark, then go lighter and lighter. Also, make sure the color levels are consistant. If you have RED 25 Blue 10 Green 10, and you drop Red 5 levels on the next item, drop blue 5 and green 5, so it is Red 20, Blue 5, Green 5.

As long as everything is consistent it should look like a normal color edit.

Well, at least Danosarurus is honest in admitting he's having trouble with color edits turning out well. I wish others would admit that to themselves and NOT subject me to their craptastic edits online. Ugh.

I'm actually quite crazy about color editing....i'll make an initial edit (if it doesn't turn out how i like, i'll just forget about it and go to the next character...) then just use it for a bit...if i notice anything bad about it during battles, i'll make slight changes....though sometimes, i just don't care what other people think...they can always turn off color edits for themselves if they don't like mine...lol

NeoWave does, but I think the 2002/2003 Live pack does as well (from what I'm reading). Or is this for NeoWave?

The King of Fightes 02/03 does have a color edit, but due to the small color pallette, its really hard to make something look cool without everything getting uncool. It has about 9-10 pallettes (if that) you can change the colors but it doesn't do much. Still a nice feature. Some characters can easily be editied color wise, but there are other characters that.....make it extremly difficult..

You do know that her body structure, face, and hair are more fitting for another anime character: Queen Emeraldas. CLAMP female characters as well.

Okay. So I finally got kind of decent at color-edits. Now all my characters follow a white & gold color scheme, especially Tizoc. Having trouble getting Athena to fit that scheme (so I left her as just white), but people like Tizoc, Mai, Billy, Mary, and a few others look good in it.

I've successfully got Athena to look like one of my favorite anime characters from the 1980s: Madoka from "Kimagure Orange Road"

I also turned Benimaru into Freddy Mercury(Queen), Mai into Belldandy(http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/b/belldandy.jpg) from Ah! My Goddess, and Kim(Kim Neon) is using a returning custom edit that I used in CVS2. Thats it for the moment.

damn looks like 02 iori hair & pants are connected color wise! :lame:

i was good to have him blonde with all black except the t-shirt(by his waist)which would be brown.

now he's gonna have yellow pant(&hair)with alot green!
