LOL, hot thread...I actually had to practice on pad like a week before i got xbl, and even then i couldn't combo into supers consistently. As time went by i learned how to do a few customs on pad and got better at comboing into my supers. I'm far from the best. The best pad player on xbl is any random guy that beat me with roll throw, roll super, roll special, wake up jab, wake up roll fierce, and random supers from full screen which i tried to dp but couldn't becuase of lag/pad bs.

Man that MFer never OCV'd me. He came close with some lame Haoh and Bill Goldberg Blanka(Gadgy) about a year ago. Best pad player is HANDS DOWN Rolentless. fun thread... I'd have to go with Sin. It's true that Gadgy doesn't really combo. But because Sin plays this game as if it was offline (which is hard as hell when lag is in it more than half the time), it's his footsies, comboing into supers, and zoning that I think of when playing against him.

Gadgy has some good zoning. And eventhough, it's not his fault... the damn lag. A Live match wouldn't mean too much anyway, I have a good connection with Sin; so I'm sure his connection with Gadgy won't be good for him (haha, block stun from the go go Gadget Indian is hella annoying :clap: ).

But we misread the topic... it doesn't neccesarily say "best pad cvs2 player - on LIVE". Who ever the guy Buzzin is talking about must have made his own pad... because I can't go without two weeks before my buttons break or become unresponsive :xeye: .

you played on pad too. You were pretty good for a pad player. I think there's more of a top 3 than #1. It rotates between gadgy, rolentless and gimme. Gimme COULD be #1 becuase he plays A-groove, and A is the best groove in the game.

But I cant do sakuras shoshosho (only till 3 times) or bison paint the fence.

I dont really spend time practicing, but Im sure its do-able.

A friend of mine can link all / any of Morrigan's normals into Darkness Illusion (pretty much whenever he bothers to hit you while raging in K-groove), and frequently does so during matches, and does Sakura's CC without a hitch in either direction. I wish there were more console tournaments, he'd do pretty damn well.

The only thing I can do on a pad is JD what shouldn't be jd'able or what noone else is crazy enough to jd.

I manage to play XBL and not let it ruin my offline game bc I can distinguish that they are 2 entirely different games!
