Which one is played the most?

2003. 2002 has very bad lag, so it doesn't see much use. 2003 (that is, two-thousand three) is the one that gets played because it has good net-code.

A fair amount of people still play 2k2, though. Just not as many as 2k3.

And people exagerrate 2k2's lag. Its not as good as 2k3 online, but its still decent.

I agree with the others. 2002's not really Bad. It's just that in 2003 they went the extra mile. Connections are really good. Control seems better, Live options are better, Backgrounds, Everything aside from the roster is just better.

As far as I can tell. Neowave is going to take the good things about both of em and give us one fine game :) Till then, we goot 2003.

Yea I can tell neowave is going to be tight. See I'm coming from Cvs2, so that means I just wanna play 1 vs 1 which is how 2002 is. thats why i'm so concerned about lag issues. I like 2003 but back when it first came out on emu's I was hoping it was like mvc2 but then I got turned off 2 it when I played it. but its still a good game and i'll be playing it 2. Anyone know when Neowave is coming out?

It was supposed to come out in Late November/December, but got pushed back. An official date isn't known yet.

EB lists it as shipping on 02/15/2006. Gamestop has it listed for 2/1/2006 and has (probably mock) coverart here (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=210862).

So expect it around February sometime.

Just to let you know, there is an option to play team matches the way you do in the other KOF games and like in CvS2. Thats actually the way I play the most, so feel free to add me to your friends list.

ppl are NOT exagerrating about 2k2's lag. It's slightly worst than GGX. For the most part i tolerate it because its the better game (compared to 2k3) but ppl know which characters work well in lagg and they arnt scared to abuse. The problem for me, if they run and i want to attack while walkn forward a projectile can come out (K, K's Ice daughter, others) and even though i tell it to block, i get hit. but hell i still like that game. Never heard of neowave, hope its not 3d.

Im also hoping that Marvel game coming out has an actual fighting system but it probably is being made for KIDS.
