I've run into a couple of guys who do that dive kick repeatedly. Meh, I just look at it as an oppurtunity to get some parry practice in. If you're that bent out of shape about spamming the Yun dive kick, don't even play somebody who spams Akuma's hurricane kick over and FREAKIN' over again.

I'm going to be at CF on the 24th for the tourney. I'm mostly going for CVS but I would like to enter 3s also. I just have to get there early enough to get some casuals in before hand. Last time I couldnt even play :tdown: Got there too late. So maybe we can get some games in if you go.

also, its pretty unveteran complaining about ppls playing styles, everybody has different styles, and everybody plays to win.

Dive kick Yun's beat my ass at Evo. Online not too many know how to use it properly. Maybe a few, Cloudken comes to mind.

I know yuns dive kick is a big part of his game. Shit can be hard to deal with but online the shit is very hard to stop.

Well actually its not THAT hard if the connection is consistant and im adjusted to it. I just got mad before I could cause I played like 4 diff yuns and all the connections were different.

Shit-tastically. I had better luck at the BlackJack tables than in 3s. I got eliminated by an insane Canadian Dudley player named Anyeurism. I think he went on to make top 25. I held my own in casuals, one of the few Q or Remy players there. Most of my other time was spent watching, in awe, how fucking good some of these players really are.

I feel like I could have done alot better. It was my first major and I choked pretty hard.

As weird as it may sound - I've come to terms with Yuns dive kick. I'll obviously try to parry if its a sure thing, but otherwise I block and keep blocking since a throw attempt usually ends up in a whiff + eating another dive kick + target combo + GJ = I'm THIS close to calling you a ********* Fair enough that I may be thrown after a blocked dive kick, but thats better than taking his combo. There are very few xbl Yuns that I think could beat me offline, Rockman is definitely one of them. I know there are a few more Yanks who play him well, but I haven't come up against them yet.

I don't think we'll hear anytime this year when and where evo2K6 will be, but I can't wait. I fucked up too parryall, I felt like I should of won atleast 1 game when I got peaced out in the losers bracket. I got lucky that evo was in vegas since I got stationed in Utah, like a 6.5 hr drive.
