Ok, up till this point I've been using Shingo as my leader. It started off as me just playing around, but then he became my permanant team leader somehow. Well, I'm now to the point where I need a serious leader, because if I just get down to Shingo...I lose.

So, does anyone have a suggestion? The other members are King and Ash. I tried using Goro, but I have no idea how to play him...I got beat by a Chang when I used him

Iori's LDM is badass, but if you're going to be "unique..."
idk if he's the one you want to use.

Robert for sure, his LDM's are versatile enough to be good in a clutch position. I might be a little biased but he's a damn good character, for any position, including the leader.

I really like King's LDM. Its good for surprising your opponent right off the bat, or saving it up for later in the match. If the first low shot connects, they eat all 5 of them.

unless they are crouching when the first hit hits them. now then. dont get me wrong, king is my team leader 100% out the time. her LDM is comboable, randomable, and even does enough chip damage to warent it as a random finisher. the best part of it is that it is FAST and blows through all projectiles, even supers.if you see someone do a mid to full screen projectile, activate on reaction for the ownage. king is my personale best and favorite charecter for that reason.

Tizoc's LDM is unbelievable. Just stand in front of the opponent and throw it out; if they do anything that's not jumping out, they're done for.

Kyo's does a lot of damage; I remember someone on the Orochinagi forums arguing that Kyo is mid tier, but Kyo with LDM is high.

Iori's LDM combos really well and does solid damage.

Robert's LDMs are good, but damage scaling hits them really hard for some reason. Getting value out of them requires learning to set them up.

Goro's does, what, 70% damage? And Goro's top tier anyway. It'd probably be worth getting through the learning curve for him.

K''s Chain Drive blows through projectiles and does big damage. Plus he's throwing sunglasses at the opponent. What's not to like?

Oh yeah. Kim has a pretty good one too, since you can cancel it off tons of stuff.

Not to offend anyone, but I wouldnt use any of those leader specials except Iori's, and Kim. Espeically Robert, If he misse it is all over for him, if you block it is over for him. It is only good if you are using it agasint a jumping opponet, and even then it may miss because of the ark like motion. If the opponet is on the ground and they see it coming, they will block it, 95% of the time atleast. Atleast Iori's is easy combo into, as is Kim, plus you can pretty much pressure alot with those two, *and no I am not saying Kim because I use him on my team, yet he is hardly my leader*.

I personally started using Mai as my leader, but don't really try to make her LDM the power of my team, I just use it to beat out a trip spammer or poke spammer *coughsJhun'shardkickcoughs* Kings LDM is good in a pinch because it eats people who try to roll past it, jump over it *though it takes alot less when they try to jump over it*

But yeah just try out eveyrones LDM and who ever you are most comfortable with use them regaurdless.

If I could do hcb x2 on a pad, I'd use Tizoc as my leader all day. Leader Tizoc with two meters is a terrifying thing.

try Tizoc with 3 or 4 meters while he's at less than 25% life...and is willing to rush you down...thats...fear

Btw...I've been using Yamazaki as my leader for the past day. I think he'll be it.

Honestly I would pick a Leader based on LDM 50%.......and Yamazaki is a good choice, Unblockable Madness for the win.

But out of the LDM's I know of (used) these folks would be a decent pick.

Joe - Blows through ANYTHING! (even OTHER LDM's!!!) and HURTS!!!
Kyo - Blows through almost anything, Can this damn thing be comboed?!?!!?!?
Tizoc - STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! - Pain and Gundam Noises, nuff said.
Yamazaki - Unblockable and fairly quick with some good priority.
Robert - If you both are in the air, it's over?
Jhun - Mindgames, Mindgames and MORE Mindgames.
Whip - Poke me if you dare.
Terry - I think it's an Anti Air?
Iori - You can combo it or catch someone sleeping in low block, one of the best in the game period IMO
K' - Ray-Ban Power, Nuff said.
Gato - Can be comboed into and gets the job done, just don't fuck up the 3 part motion.
Shingo - Don't get hit with DP+K up close or it's all over.
Hero Team - Whoopdy fuckin' doo.

is it me or do LDM seems harder to do while tagging in. I usually mess it up more when i try to combo it on a tag in.

is it me or is Shen Woo's LDM pretty pimp. I mean his hits do like twice the amount and he can do some serious mind games with his command grab.

Also is it possible to combo into Goro's LDM like his command grabs, especially on a tag attack in.

I scrag up a lot too (admittedly, I suck on pads). One problem I have is that I misjudge which side the next character is coming in from, and do the command wrong. Solution? Wait, and don't start the command until the character is standing there. Hitstun from the tag-in attack is long enough to see which way you're supposed to be going.

It is probably because you are tying to do the super before they land so the input is voided. Or it could be because the character crosses over and the input messes up......so yeah.
