No way. I didn't ask for any phone numbers. I meant that they're women that I never talked to before until last night that's all. I'm not interested in any them enough to want to ask for a phone number (and that's probably why I felt so comfortable interacting for once now that I think about it). I was saying that my confidence level and self esteem has gone up these past few months that's all. I'm glad that being able to talk and establish a good rapport to ANYBODY (including women I'm not attracted to), will give me the confidence to talk smooth to the women I am attracted to.

No more of that God awful knees shaking, high pitched voice I can't control, aborting when there's absolutely no logical reason I should do so, and not knowing what to say anymore finally.

It seems to me like PSP and DS top releases seem to come in shifts. When DS got a whole bunch of cool games, PSP got nothing. Now that PSP is getting good games, there seem to be fewer good DS games coming out.

Even if I wanted a PSP though, I could not afford one. Plus the fact that these 'multiplayer with only one actual game' wifi deals such as MK are looking to be the norm on the DS, and the upcoming Tetris game and Children of Mana look like the new hotness.

I'm not gonna hate on the PSP, but so far each of my friends who got one at launch and were pushing me to get one have one by one come around and said "God, I wish I'd never bought this thing. I could just spent more on DS games."

Well, except Yeti, but he only enjoys his PSP beacuse his firmware is the version that lets him play SNES games. I love SNES and all Sony, but you're going to have to bring more to the table since GBA was essentially a portable SNES anyway.

Thing is I really don't see the improvement over the original design. With the jump from GBA to the SP, it was obvious: the backlight was a necessity. Unless you were on the surface of the sun, the GBA was impossible to play.

But thankfully the OG DS is so good I really don't need the upgrade. I'd be tempted for the Alpha collection and MM Powered Up for PSP, but with the Alpha collection coming to PS2 as well...God how I want to be the MM1 bosses, though. Curse the PSP's price tag! I'd need to take out a loan for that beast.

Word. The DS Lite doesn't seem to offer functions that the DS doesn't, so that's not so bad. I just wish Nintendo straight up released the Lite first, instead of the regular one, which looks like a Tonka Toy brick.

And, Megaman Powered Up is going to be super awesome, if its demo is any indication. I can't wait for that.

heh, probably not for awhile though...I'll get that DS Lite when it's fresh, most likely. I guess it's not so bad if you've had the "old" one for a long time, at least. It happened to me with the GBA situation...I got that asap...had it for awhile, then of course the greatness that is SP graced our lives. Technically, spiders aren't insects, but I can see how insect-imbued super powers would be ludicrously powerful (like, for example, having the proportional strength of that one ant that can lift hundreds of times its body weight). Giant insects, however, cannot exist on land, as their legs wouldn't "scale" proportionately with their body mass and would not have the strength to allow the giant insects to stand.

As for the DS, yeah. I don't really care that Nintendo is releasing the Lite, but it still irks me that they release full-priced upgrades so frequently. It's the same practice that bothered me about SEGA back in the day.

I need some help dealing with this insecurity I have. I recognized today that it's the number one thing holding me back from being as successful with women and dating as I would like to be and I need this FIXED.

I talk way too fast for my own good.

I used to have a stuttering problem, but I fixed that by always thinking about what I'm going to say before it actually comes out of my mouth. For all these past 7 years, because I fixed the stuttering problem, I never realized that I still talk much too fast, it causes me to stammer, and I noticed people are always saying "What?" to me, or "What's your name again?" after I just told them my name a second ago.

I'm not an easy person to understand on the phone as a result, and that's definitely the reason I've always been so apprehensive and nervous about talking to people over the phone. How can I establish a good rapport when the girl on the other end needs to ask me "what?" every five seconds?

I recorded an actual outgoing voice message for the first time ever on my voice mail today (instead of the default message saying this phone number isn't available right now). I sucked it up, faced the pain, and listened to what I had recorded and what others would be listening to when they called me.

Damn, I talk ridiculously fast. It's not an attractive voice I'm listening to when I hear myself speak, or barely even an audible one when I stammer, and I don't like that.

It took me over 30 re-records and around 15 minutes before I was finally able to record an outgoing message that I was comfortable with, where my voice tone is deep and most importantly, I'm speaking slowly and clearly.

Does anybody have any tips that can help me when I talk to people in person also? How do I get rid of this awful speed talking personality trait already? It's one of the things that's making me unattractive to women, negating all the positive and attractive traits that I possess, and I can't take it anymore.

A tip I learned on my own that truly helped my voice pitch at least (so I don't talk in the Steve Urkel voice), is to lift up my chest and maintain perfect posture whenever I open my mouth. It's the way that my diaphragm gets pressed against the rest of my body whenever I lift my chest that naturally deepens my voice into a lovely man voice.

Yeah, this jackrabbit pace and stammering problem is killing me though, and I'm not sure how to fix it.

I was physically flirting with the flat butt girl so much that some guy actually asked if we were boyfriend and girlfriend at one point during the night.

I had busted on her for the whole walking away from me thing last week. Then today, I told her I didn't want to be friends anymore, she told me not to say that, and I made fun of her by saying, "oh, you thinking I'm kidding?" Wow, I can't believe the effect it made on her attitude towards me. I tell her, "Don't touch me...", then I brush off where she touched me, she touches me in that spot even more and starts hitting me. :rofl: She made a "What about me?" comment to imply that I should touch her, but I don't give her what she wants. Instead I tease her by acting like I'm about to, but then pull back and say "Maybe next Tuesday...". I don't know how the heck it happened, but I ended up grabbing her hand and pulling her whole body close to me, and she's laughing during another interaction. I very briefly had my hand on her lower back (but she definitely noticed it) at another point. Then towards the end of the night, she's on the other side of the room and I see her looking in my direction and trying to get my attention.

I haven't had so much playful flirting with a woman in a long time that's for sure. How awesome is that?

A shootemup RPG.. that doesn't mean I want arcade shooter gameplay, but I just want all the theatrics and drama seen in some shmup cutscenes put into an RPG environment, with traditional adventure gameplay. A lone pilot with his own problems sent out to fuck up some enemy armada by his lonely. Instead of villages, the pilot docks his craft in space stations and talks to .. instead of stupid magic and outfits he gets new guns and shields and bombs.. and instead of dungeons he'll go out in space taking down enemy fighters and shit in a turn-based battle or something like that..

I've played a grand total of like 3 RPGs in my life so that tells you how interested I am in RPGs.. but I'm a big shmup fan so I'd definitely play something like that..

Yeah, I don't know why I've been worrying about my physical looks all these years. It took me a while, but I finally learned that attraction doesn't work the same way it does in men as it does with women.

I've said before already, I notice just one particular physical aspect about a woman, and *boom*, there it is. Instant attraction and I've got to have her no matter what. I had a crush on an Asian female celebrity back when I was 16. When I first met the girl that had her hair in similar short hair style, wow, did she ever stand out and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Here is the post: It happened last year. I think about it from time to time and it bothers me alot. This was the second relationship I had that was more than sex. Matter of fact it was beyond the other one I had, it was true love people, true love! This woman had me open. The night that I confronted her and put an end to it I went to a friends place afterwards and cried myself to sleep. The last time I ever cried was my freshman year of HS when my friend got murdered.

Earlier in the thread I made post about swearing off women. I did it for a couple of months but dropped that shit after talking to my boy. I want to find someone but as I've stated before I'm so scared of getting hurt emotionally. I don't think my heart could take another beatdown. In other words it fucking sucks and is pretty unfair and much harder to people who chose a niche topic. Wanna guess what I chose as my topic?

eh, I'm not really interested in The Sopranos anyway...I'm so far out of the loop, I really don't feel like getting into it at this point, especially since it's apparently the final season now. Anyway, in regards to the Sopranos, I watched it hardcore in the first season, and the second season. Skipped the third and fourth cause we didn't have HBO. I cop them on DVD regardless if I watch them on TV or not. It's my favorite show ever. This will be the first season since the second that I'll be watching on Cable. I'm super hyped for sunday.

And it DOES get fucking annoying that each season takes so fucking long, but it's acceptable for me because I really, REALLY enjoy the show. It hasn't gotten generic yet. Maybe that's partly due to how long they take when it comes to the off season. I wish they'd cut down the down time, but whatever. No sense in complaining since it's on it's last season (but they're doing 8 more bonus episodes so I guess it's technically NOT the last season) but it's all good. I can't wait for sunday.

Just because it's portable doesn't mean it has to be played only when you're on the go lol. I play my DS alot when I'm having fun with a game. Sure enough, most of the time I play it at home. And about the EWJ thing, I just think 2-D games are so perfect for the DS. Also, they could probably do something cool with the touchscreen involving shooting/minigames.

So just get yourself some hot chocolate or a soda (depending on what the tempurature is in your area and just write what she wants to read.) Since this is eighth grade (unless your school is a Junior High and goes up to 9th) You'll probably never have to see her again or speak to her.

Stealing. --Sure, the average person may not pick up a penny they see that fell out of someone's pocket or purse, etc....because who cares? It's just a penny....however, what about when you see a dollar? Ok...what about a 20? Or a 100? It gets more interesting as you raise the price, and thus, increase the temptation.

GI Joe Sigma 6 could be so much better than it already is if it wasn't tied up by 4KidsTV. If some other company had the license or whatever, and it aired on Adult Swim, it would be LEGENDARY.
*I still get a little something in my eye when listening to the GI Joe Movie intro music, or watching the intro. The nostalgia is just too strong, and it overwhelms me sometimes.

VH1's "I Love Toys"---Mo Rocca(?) dressed up as Cobra Commander for the "Cobra's Day Off" bits, where he's seen around town doing minor bad things, like walking by and making sure to knock someone's coffee over so it spills on their paper....or stealing all the newspapers out of those sidewalk stands.
