Nothing like hearing people lock their car doors when I walk by
Dude I'm a delivery driver in a rich ass suburb. I love it when people just stick their hands out for the pizza, toss me some money and shut the door with a mumbled 'thank you'. I feel so welcome.
Shit, it isn't like it was unexpected. You ordered a pizza to be delivered.
But the nice rich white people more than make up for it. All the nice people in general make up for the few jerks.

The lovely Soledad O'Brien is in the latest issue of Newsweek magazine, so I may have to pick that up. Once again, Soledad....you....complete me.
Again I starve due to pure laziness. I had a good thing going with Saturday night's pig-out session; a large freschetta pizza....and then I messed up yesterday by not eating breakfast or lunch. That's odd for me, actually...since breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. It's the one meal I'd normally refuse to go without....but I was still full from the previous night, and I kept thinking "eh, I'll cook something up in just a minute..." ...and suddenly it was 5pm and I still hadn't had anything. See, this is one of the minor sucky things about living alone. You have to do everything yourself. Unlike childhood and teen years...breakfast isn't magically there and ready when you wake up....and sometimes ya just don't feel like cooking OR going out to order something. I just had 3 waffles with honey....that's not much compared to the breakfast I normally had when I was still at home with mom doing 99% of the cooking. I typically had waffles or pancakes, backed up with bacon or sausage links(*I don't really like pan-style sausage...only if it's in a biscuit...a biscuit makes pan sausage acceptable and ok to me for some reason.) ...sometimes with hash browns....and of course a full glass of orange juice or apple juice. Since I've been on my own...a big breakfast for me that I cook is waffles with polish sausage slices(polish sausage is such a braindead food to cook...just put it in the pan and heat until it looks right. haha...that's the extent of the instructions.)
*I really want to see what it would look like if a person had diarrhea shit in zero gravity.

my mom is stupid. She heard me saying to my brother "get your spic ass out of my business!" and said its not right to use derogatory terms against our own people. I replied with "I used the word in the same sense that you use the word 'nigga' (she's ghetto like that...), and some black people find that offensive". THEN she fucking said "well if they get offended about that, then they're stupid, since it means ignorant person and you use that when talking to your friends". *sigh*

Asian "idols" disappear so fast like dance-pop groups in the 90s. I wonder sometimes what someone like Anna Ohura or Aki Kawamura(one of the hottest asians in history) are up to these days. Those 2 and a few others like Cheiko Shiratori were on my mind recently since I was looking at some of the old desktop wallpapers I've made.

How the hell do you even end up with "Butt" as the family name anyway? What THE fuck? So, the guy's name is one big joke for life. That's a shame....hilarious though. So being poor means you have no morals? You can get a pair of shoes for 2 dollars at goodwill. They won't be the sickest kicks ever, but they will be YOURS you earned and deserve.
Why do all the people who steal go for the K-swiss instead of the cheap shoes, what they actually need? The answer is cus people don't steal for what they need, they steal for what they want. The actually impovershed people shop for clothes at thrift stores because ANYONE can afford it. Go somewhere and see people living in fucking houses made of sheets of metal they found in the trash and a dirt floor and tell me about people who are so poor they need to steal. I usually keep my hair very short so I don't even fully know what it looks like but I'll find out since part of my money saving plan is to just NOT get my hair cut for as long as I can stand it, since I work at the airport tarmac and no one gives a fuck what I look like out there (you will look like shit moving baggage anyways in the sun) and also since my girlfriend isn't even in the country, I honestly don't give a fuck if I look like a slob...in fact it's probably better since it will cut down the temptation.

I'm still amazed sometimes when I see things on the History channel that mention things like slavery in passing...not just American slavery... It almost seems like Bizarro World bullshit to me. Our species, the human race...homo sapiens (no homo)...actually enslaved other humans at various points in our time so far on this planet. They owned other humans like property. It's just strange to me, and only further proves that our race is a true abomination.....God's mistake, you could say....or perhaps not....perhaps we were created with the destiny of being purposely flawed, and doomed to an inveitable self-imposed extinction...all to be His entertainment. We are probably quite interesting to watch...in the same way it's interesting/funny to watch an episode of the Jerry Springer Show, or Maury Povich doing another "You are NOT the father!" episode.
Whatever the case, if I were God....this species probably would not have made it beyond the Holocaust era. At that point I would've most likely had enough of this bullshit. Perhaps I would've come down to personally say to the entire population..."hey, fuck you guys. Every last one of you is about to be erased from the universe...that's exactly how lame you are. All of you. This entire species has been a travesty since day 1. Jesus Christ you guys are horrible...". Then everyone gets wiped completely out of existence, soul and all. No heaven, no hell...just complete nothingness. NO consolation prize, no "lovely parting gifts". As Willy Wonka said, "YOU GET NOTHING."

That's because you lived in NY and LA, a place where blacks heavily populate the area. Try hanging around Little Tokyo, you hardly see any black people for the execption of bums.
Now, I know where you're coming from since I work at a shoe store and the majority of people that steal/try to steal shoes are black, but that's only because the surrounding area the store is populated by black people. I worked at a shoe store as assistant manager for six months in a predominantly WHITE area, and all of the people that stole from our store except for a hispanic family, two mexican teenage girls and one white man were black. This is 3 out of a few dozen known thefts weren't black people. You could say that black people have such harrowing poverty that FORCES them to steal expensive shoes ( ) or you could say that black people just don't have as much a problem with stealing as other people in America do. I believe the later is the case after over a year in retail. I mean...it's mathematical FACT that the people who were stealing from our store were black disproportionately to their representation in the surrounding area. I don't see why noticing this is racist, I'm not saying they are genetically predestined to criminal tendencies. They just think it's OK to steal to an odd degree.
On the store email system we got a warning about these black individuals who would talk on cellphones coordinating their thefts in other stores (they had hit up 2-3 stores in my area). They would threaten the employees with violence, and say "THIS IS FOR MY FAMILY!" and "I NEED THESE!" before gangster walking out with a bunch of pairs of k-swiss and lugz.
Thing is, I WISHED white people would've stolen from my stores more, because then I could say "SEE! SEE! It's everyone!" but the majority of the time it seriously wasn't. I was rooting for black people as the underdog (they always are) but they let me down (they often do).

i didn't go to school 2day. too lazy.
People with no dads growing up are often crazy after puberty (in some cases, before), there's a big issue with deadbeat dads in the black community (more so in the lower/lower-middle class), and so there you go.
Having an absent/abusive parent turns you into an asshole pretty easily (hopefully only for a few years, though some people take a long time to get past it, if they even live that long), so until you can learn to regulate your impulses on yor own, as you didn't learn at home, or at least until you become discouraged in someway from being an asshole, you will, predictably enough do asshole things.
Not that people in that situation are the only ones that steal...there are people who take things for the sense of thrill, and those people are disturbed in a different way.
It's all about not having empathy, I think. And entitlement, to a lesser degree.
You know, I was wondering the other day... Your parents are sorta your conscience. They do a lot, as far as teaching you right and wrong, etc. People with dads who were never around or were abusive commonly have issues with authority (as does every teenager and college kid, but in a different way). Respecting people is easier when you learn it early.
So I was thinking....do some people also rebel against their conscience?
On a different note, I watched some of Beat Street the other night...one of those movies that comes on at like 2 AM on a Saturday night...btw I don't think I ever mentioned to you guys Radical Jack, the movie where Billy Ray Cyrus plays a secret agent, but WOW. Fucking wow.
Anyway, Beat Street...movie about 1980s hip hop culture, based in New York, movie was made sometime in the 1980s, I don't know. What stikes me as odd about the movie, other than it's funny name, is that all of the kids were...normal.
Hip hop culture, and what it is to be "black" have been packaged up and sold back to black americans by big corporations. I think of rap music, and I think of some black guy with his shirt off and a bunch of gold chains and tatoos in a music video, or these kids running around in white T-shirts which are literally hanging down past their knees. I think of someone being "hard." A certain attitude.
The kids in Beat Street were...normal. They were just kids in NY, most of them black, who liked hip hop music and break dancing and graffitti. There weren't kids talking abot how gangster they were or wearing gold fronts on their teeth or giant white parachute shirts, they were just a bunch of teenagers.
And it seemed so...pure. Just people who liked to DJ/rap/break/whatever, and did it. That purity is something that seems lost, and has been replaced by image. At a certain point, criminals decided that they had to put their face on everything related to the subculture, and it's been that way for ten years now. Rap music is a lifestyle in and o itself now, closely related to illegal activity...it's dangerous and "edgy" and sold to suburban kids. And also to urban kids. The latter group is more dangerous to sell it ot, this idyllic lifestyle where you're super-tough because you have guns and have sex all the time, and are rich because you do illegal things. And you're just like them, the kids you're selling this to. Kids who are short on good rolemodels.
The kids in Beat Street seem so normal that it makes me wonder if it was ever really that way.
"...inspired my decision to be open and listen,
but folks got it all twisted like a yoga position,
like,
in order to spit it dope-
you've gotta have a criminal past
that's similar to the cast of Diff'rent Strokes"
I'm just saying.
Beat Street definitely worth a rental, btw. Questionable acting by a few cast members, but the movie survives it. Worth it just for the breaking and the gay G.I. Joe line.

Relationships are, for the most part, pointless.
No, they're not.
You're learning life skills.
You want to meet the meet, marry, and have kids with the extraordinary woman of your dreams in the future right?
You're not going to be able to make her yours, nevermind keep her, unless you learn how to be the man that women feel safe, comfortable, and emotionally satisfied around. I'd rather go through the awkwardness of meeting/dating/juggling multiple women now (to get as much experience from different personality types as possible) than wait until once I'm really in love, but I fuck it up and she painfully leaves me because I start acting too needy or weak.
Nothing build self confidence more than sexual competence as well. Are you going to wait until you're married but the woman realizes her old bad boy boyfriend rocked her harder than you can? Or are you going to start learning how to be the amazing lover (through getting as much experience as you can right now, regardless whether you're not good yet or get embarrassed) at this age?
Need to look at things from the timeline prespective. We'll all be dead or impotent soon, so I want to be a master and be able to show a woman how to use her body in ways she never imagined before by the time I'm married.
I still have a Japanese AV actress fantasy I've still yet to realize, but I don't mind right now in the meantime, as I've literally had more Chinese women pay attention, compliment, and gush over me this past month, than my entire last year. (Me going clubbing for the first time this past weekend was fucking NICE too btw... Just seeing so many Asian 8-10's in one place was amazing. Getting feel the heat, smell the smells, and skin on skin when you're dancing with them was simply euphoric.)

I love it when people use personal experience to make generalizations. It all depends on WHERE you work and what you're selling. TS,
I think it is possible to rebel against a conscience. It is a product of the culture you grew up in/are part of and whatever morals you gain. As someone gets older, they might have problems reconciling who they are now, with who they need to be.
Adam,
But doesn't it still have to do with race? I can't find my old sociology book, but I remember we discussed a study done in like 92 over income/race (I think it was white - black - hispanic) in correlation to criminal arrests, charges, and convictions. And even when the incomes in the survey were similar, blacks were still waaaaaay the fuck ahead in all three.
But, you're the one with the degree in anthropology. Enlighten us.
Also: The teacher for that class was weird. He showed up at noon (first class of the day for him) always looking really fucked up-- hunched and extremely bloodshot eyes and just groaning about how he felt like shit.

My degree is in engineering. If you require education from an Anthropology major feel free to come by and I can have a friend with a doctorate in it educate you. Just let me know.
IMO the problem with that study (and most studies involving the criminal justice system) is that it focuses on human decision more than the data. Who gets arrested is not a direct correlation of who commits a crime. You don't have to commit a crime to be arrested. In many urban areas you just have to be there. Who gets arrested is a decision made by an officer and his predispositions. Racial profiling isn't a myth. The high rate of convictions against blacks doesn't speak to either point. It speaks to the point that the system prosecutes them more vigorously than the other races.

I want to own a cheap hotel in Thai-Land and just drink and smoke the rest of my life away. I wonder how much start up capital I need.
Dude I think about stuff like this all the time.
Like I want to purchase a sort of big space..like a warehouse or a small office building, and just convert it into a sweet ass spot. Like section off the warehouse into districts almost..and have one side be like an arcade, a comic shop and a room with a bunch of computers in it. And have the other side be a couple small stores where cool stuff (T-shirts, 'underground music', shit people want to sell) is sold (It is very easy in theory to just buy cool shit from all over now and stock it). And the rest would be for events..like shows and parties and shit...and a secret room or two.
Of course all that would evolve gradually, it isn't like I'm gonna just buy a bunch of arcade machines and all that before the actual warehouse. I really wonder how much it costs.
Above I'd want a spot that isn't a business, just a cool spot that does business. Like Borders..they don't kick you out of Borders if you aren't buying things fast enough. They don't follow you around. They let you chill, because they have shit to do. If you buy something great if you don't have a good day.
I figure the average person would come back and spend money if they don't already if you have a sweet enough atmosphere.
-----------
=The idea of 'we buy shitty houses for cash'...it is really pretty savvy. You purchase a cheap piece of shit property..pay crackheads to fix it up..maybe do some remodeling..and then just sell it for profit. If I ever came into a moderate amount of I would look into that for real.

Hmm, maybe I should have been a bit more clear. I'm basically saying that it doesn't only have to do with economic standing, but more so having to do with morals.
I've had black friends in the past, and a few's mothers were so neglectful that she probably wouldn't even notice if he didn't even come home one day. While the parents of the kids of other races were usually more watchful.
And yes, this is from personal experience. But I find it better to go by that than to go by stats, which can be easily altered.

So I was thinking....do some people also rebel against their conscience?
Yes. But really I think conscience...is at its core just survival instinct. It is just culture that wraps a bunch of other things..other values into it so well it feels internal. And it feels internal because it is internalized. Not just parents, the whole society. It isn't real, it isn't God. It isn't your soul. It is culture.
So yes people rebel against their conscience..they especially do it when they commit suicide. For example the desire to continue living no matter what is pretty standard among human beings and animals in general. The intense desire to keep breathing is first and pretty universal. So if someone kills themselves...they are rejecting a pretty fundamental staple of living things. That person is rebelling against their conscience.

You know..at first I hated the shit out of record execs..cause I felt like they masterminded it all. But really part of it is our own culture's responsibility...but first we need to try to understand why they floss so damn much:
Think about if all you knew was being poor, struggling to survive. You were always wondering about bills, about if you had enough food for the day, the week. You grew up that way, your parents grew up that way and that is pretty much what your entire bloodline knows.
And then all of a sudden you have lots of fucking money. If you focused on a problem for generations and all of a sudden that problem was lifted...what do you have then? If all you have is the "...personal qoals of wealth, to climb above the pit of poverty." (Abdul Jamaal said it on Immortal Technique's Vol 2) And you achieve that...what could happen to you? You might buy a bunch of shiny shit, nice cars, party all the time. Act like life is one big celebration because for you it is...you've conquered a demon you've fought since you opened your eyes. You've beaten poverty...for now.
But I feel like there are just a bunch of small tears in the moral fabric of Black folk, that combined with other things just make the whole quilt look bad. Thinking about how to treat people has been put on the backburner by black people as a collective, and replaced by getting a piece of the pie, and making sure people know.
And this shit is also the result of a society as a whole that is in love with wealth, posessions and shit like that. Think of the ways people treat other people like possessions (having a 'trophy wife' anyone?), like tools. I don't know if it is capitalism or just humanity.
Humankind really needs to look at how we treat each other if we are gonna not blow ourselves up. And I do't want this batch of homo sapiens going into space. We would just fuck it up. So hord. If we fucked up Earth, don't re-evaluate our actions and just leave to a different planet we will just ruin that one too eventually.

And yes, this is from personal experience. But I find it better to go by that than to go by stats, which can be easily altered.
But that's the thing: You're personal experience has little to no bearing on anything. I can go and see 18 white guys looting. That wouldn't mean that Caucasians commit more crimes. It just means their lost the championship or whatever. You can't seriously be putting limited personal experience over statistics. You'd really have to be some sort of goddamned idiot to do that. But you are VG Emblem so....

Are you sure about that? So you believe women are better drivers than men, that most women have been raped in their lives, that women never hit men but women are always domestically abused for no reason, etc.? Common sense tells you otherwise for all of those, but statistics and propaganda will have you believe otherwise. I didn't mean to single out women in all of those, but all the misleading statistics I could think of from the top of my head all involve women. There are a ton more for products and other things, but you'd need to do research to prove why the statistics are so stupid, or would have to have personal experience, whereas for these everyone has the experience and knows how dumb it is.
VG is right. Statistics are easily manipulated, and in statistics courses I've taken they've actually told us that usually, you should probably ask an employer or funder what statistics they're looking for, and then manufacture that for them. It's not exactly dishonest, but you're manipulating the study with leading questions, sample selection, or location, and then selectively choosing which statistics best favor you while leaving out what harms you. It's bull, but most of america is stupid and will believe it. Here's another one, women make less money than men on the same job. It's not actually true at all, especially the numbers that are usually thrown around, but depending on how you mislead people you can have some sort of statistic behind it.
Use your personal experience and common sense. You're picking on VG because he's a kid, and granted in a lot of things he simply does not have the life experience to know everything. But it looks like he has you beat on this one. Either you have even less experience, or you are just dumber than him.
As for the stealing thing...since you mention statistics, there must be a reason that black people statistically commit more crimes right? That's a statistic, go look up your criminal reports, or google it. Black people over-represent in prisons as well. All the statistics show that black people are statistically more likely to be criminals than any other race. So I just told you how useless statistics were for most of this post, and now I threw you this bone. Which one do you want to take? Claim statistics are useless, and you just lost to VG Emblem and your first post is retarded. Claim statistics are right, and you just went and lost anyway since the statistics don't support you? What do you do? What do you do?

IMO the problem with that study (and most studies involving the criminal justice system) is that it focuses on human decision more than the data. Who gets arrested is not a direct correlation of who commits a crime. You don't have to commit a crime to be arrested. In many urban areas you just have to be there. Who gets arrested is a decision made by an officer and his predispositions. Racial profiling isn't a myth. The high rate of convictions against blacks doesn't speak to either point. It speaks to the point that the system prosecutes them more vigorously than the other races.
I hate this type of excuse making. The black community has a problem with crime. Which is why the notoriously shittiest neighborhoods in the U.S. are not even predominantly black...they're ALL BLACK. When you say it's a socio economic issue you're basically excusing their behavior as the disadvantaged, ignorant poor who can't help themselves or know any better.
How can you expect better of a people when you make those kinds of excuses for them? It's still just as amoral to steal and mug people whether you're Donald Trump or Jerome from the corner.

Because it' not thier fault they were put in that situation...
Blacks have always been in the butt end of the country...
We endured slavery and other such opressions...
I know it sounds redundant...
But you just can't dismiss that fact...
Then once we were released we had no jobs or anything really...
It's like we played a game of monopoly and evryone starts of with 1500 execpt the black people...
We literaly had nothing and we still dont to some degree...
Yes i know we have made HUGE advancements but we still have a LONG way to go before we are truely at the same level as whites...
So when you have people in these types of situations you gonna have people that react differently...
So many turn to crime and other such things...
Now i don't condome any type of stealing i can definately feel where they are coming from...
Especially since many whites got thier money from slave trades, bootlegging (drug dealing) and other such means...
Add to the fact that many whites reinforce the behavior that they are superior to us and we are criminals of course they have more blacks in prison...
Here is a statistic...
I know 80% of the country is white...
Yet close to 90% of blacks make up the prison population...
Why is this?...
in a countryof 260 million people...
Also in the 400 years of being in the country there are only 2 Black billionaires...
it looks to me that it's more than just blacks being lazy....
it's more like we have some injustices going around...

these stats are slightly off. its more like 70% white ppl. blacks are like 13.3% of the population. also, blacks don't make up 90% of the prison population - its more like 50%. the problem is that 13.3% of one group within the population accounts for 50% of the prison population.
but there are only (roughly) 38.3 million black ppl. that begs the question, "how many people are in jail in the united states?" at the end of June 2005 the number was around 2,186,230. ...which means that at least 1,093,115 of those prisoners were black (with some Latino/Hispanics peppered in) - if we are to believe the 50% statistic.
ok.... so what about the other 36-37 million black people who aren't in prison? what percentage of the 38 million black people in this country are actually in jail? if blacks make up 13.3% of the u.s. population then the 1,093,115 blacks in jail only represent like 1% of the 38 million black people in the u.s. the VAST MAJORITY of black folk are just trying to make their way in the world just like everyone else.
but even still, when people think of black people, their opinions are dominated by the statistics. and thats ok with me. but every now and then i'd like to think that the best of black people aren't going unnoticed: http://images.encarta.msn.com/xrefmedia/sharemed/targets/images/pho/t054/T054620A.jpg -another sista in space...

So I'm going back into the past to play more games I never bothered with the first time around. First was Majora's Mask, now its Resident Evil. The cutscenes are just funny as hell because of cheesy as hell live action + bad CG. The game engine is annoying as hell sometimes. Sometimes I press R1 lots of times so it will lock on to the enemy...and wont do it... Sometimes i shoot when aiming directly at them...bullet magically misses... being surrounded by 3+ zombies leads to an infinite combo with no hope of escaping... and there are hunters EVERY FUCKING WHERE!!
Normally I'd kill them all but this game gives you very limited ink ribbons and ammo, plus you can only carry six items. My first RE game was RE2, and usually I had tons of leftover clips of ammo and ink ribbons by the end of the game. Ah well, still having some good old fun with this game.

Metal Gear Solid - Dunno why I've never played these games. I played the ORIGINAL Metal Gear on NES and remembered hating it. I understand Solid's way different, but...I dunno.
Grand Theft Auto - Here's another one I can only chalk up to "I dunno why".

Haven't played RE2 or anything since.ooooh that's a shame. RE2 surpassed the first game in every possible way, and I happen to consider part 2 as being one of the greatest video games ever in history. Whenever I make a top 10 or top whatever# list of games...RE2 will always be on it. Then you missed another legend in MGS?! That's still my longest-single play session game at 12+ hours. Yes, I played this game for 12 hours straight. I kept thinking to myself "eh, just one more level...I'll go to sleep after this..", but I couldn't stop. Eventually I beat the game....then I looked up and noticed the sun was rising...and I started playing that previous day at roughly 5pm. Really, my only critique of that game is that they went a little crazy with the cinema scenes...I'd completely understand someone complaining about that. The story was nice, but there were times when I was just wanting to get back to action.
---One franchise I've still not fully experienced; Metroid. Back in the NES days, there were just way too many other games that took priority over this. On SNES it was the same thing. I think I rented Super Metroid once..I'm not even sure. In the 16 bit era it was even worse...there were WAY too many other great games for me to spend time on a Metroid game.
--Metroid Prime--played it one time. I loved it, but again...there's just too many other good games. I was in the midst of my Phantasy Star Online addiction, then Viewtiful Joe came out, then Ultimate Muscle, etc.

...well, if it's not fully real-time...I wouldn't be playing it. FF games tend to be turn-based or some variation of it. Also, Square managed to create the most fruity-looking main character in the history of the franchise with this guy in 12....but really, the non-real-time aspect of most RPGs keeps me away from them like the plague.(PSO was real-time hack/slash/shoot/magic. I loved Champions of Norrath too, as it was also real-time.) Then there's the problem of it being strictly on a Sony system; I've avoided those like the plague too, since their idea of "system quality" is scary.
I can't help but be proud of my post at this other forum, because it's straight up truth on the Unreal Champ2 situation. Someone was bitching about....single rockets of all things. SINGLE FUCKING ROCKETS. Yes, the primary mode of fire of a weapon.
ah, that's what I'm saying...it was pretty much the tone of my recent thread. Most of you people always attach these lame little rules of "honorable conduct" or whatever...and the silly thing is...it's not really necessary, as nothing in the game truly is an auto-win tactic. Please. This is a game; we're not samurai in ancient japan. (*the worst thing is what...EMP vs. Robots? Even there...you still have the choice to ...duh...NOT pick a stupid robot! Imagine that...there are only 3 robot characters...so it's not like that automatically eliminates a large chunk of the cast *on a sidenote...perhaps I'm lucky, but I've only been killed by an EMP combo exactly three times in my entire time of playing the game.)
Once again...every time I skim over the threads here...I can't help but be reminded of all those annoying fighting game fans who complained about "throws are cheap", or "AHVBx3 is cheap...I don't use that when I play", or "Sentinel is cheap", or what the hell ever. It's just pitiful, and holds things off from being truly competitive. It's not a real competition if you're all going to play with kid gloves on....constantly pulling punches, holding back, etc.
Yeah, I guess you'd all be just fine with the next Unreal having everyone be exactly the same, with ONE gun. Oh that is just SO exciting I can barely f**king contain myself. It's like everyone here has the DBZ mentality of "I can beat you with only 25% of my real powerlevel."
Single rockets are the primary mode of fire on the damn weapon. We all know that rockets are usually strong no matter what the game is, simply due to the nature of what the weapon is. This has got to be the most asanine thing anyone has ever complained about. Of course, no one here certainly cares(*it's tragic that the people at the epic forums are the ONLY ones I can ever discuss that game with, as the community is so pathetically small)...I just wanted to look at my own beautiful post again.

Grand Theft Auto - Here's another one I can only chalk up to "I dunno why".
wow, I'm the same way:
-played Resident Evil (2 or 3, can't remember which) and hated it with a passion.
-played the original Metal Gear on NES and hated it.
-played the original Grand Theft Auto on PC and hated it.

...well, if it's not fully real-time...I wouldn't be playing it.
Of course, no one here certainly cares(*it's tragic that the people at the epic forums are the ONLY ones I can ever discuss that game with, as the community is so pathetically small)...I just wanted to look at my own beautiful post again.
lol, I have that game but I've never once tried it online.

My new job at the airport is fucking badass.
So my class (you have to take a week long class, followed by on the job training for a week before you're a "new hire") is in the van being driven to our stations on the tarmac. The instructor says "So, who wants to be a transfer runner?" two people get out and learn to go do that. Everyone knows how to be a ramper, which is the person who loads and unloads the plane, guides the planes in, and attaches the tow bar to the front landing gear, etc.
Anyways, I didn't get out because I hate fucking driving the tugs, the trucks that pull the carts. They handle like fucking shopping carts, when you want to stop turning, it KEEPS FUCKING TURNING, so you have to slow your turn hella early, it's like trying to steer a shopping cart on an ice rink.
Then I say "Hey Sergio, what about if we want to be in the bagwell?" The bag well is the place where Baggage comes down the conveyor belt after being scanned and shit, and then loaded onto the carts to be taken to their specific plane. There are two conveyors on top of each other, a low one and one about chest high. My ONLY job is to make sure every bag goes on the right cart to go to the right plane. If no bags come down my conveyor? I sit there and fucking chill. Seriously, I get paid to do this. SOOO easy. It's not for wimps because some of the bags are fucking heavy, but I LOVE how no one is there looking over my shoulder to boss me or make me do stupid inane shit all the time. If I make sure the bags are on their proper cart in a timely manner? People LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE and I can chill. It's as simple as reading "ORD" on a tag and putting it on the cart that goes to Chicago.
Meanwhile the rampers are running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to make sure the plane has water, electricity, and is loaded and unloaded correctly and that the number of bags is right.
Then I re-did my budget for the upcomming year? If I can work 32 hours of overtime every week (which is basically two 16 hour shifts which are EASY if they're in the bag well), I will basically have a SHITLOAD of money saved up so I can go to the Philippines for my 4 years to study IN STYLE, won't need to go in the dorms, I can just find my own place to stay. This is a lot different than my previous budgeting where I thought I would have to borrow money to go.
So as soon as I get over this stressful transition of moving out...my life is easy street (other than being constantly horny and tempted all the fucking time).

I haven't bought Res.Evil4 yet....but I will have it eventually. I'm already sure it's amazing, from all the positive commentary I've heard/read, and everything I've seen about it = awesome.
THE OLIVIA™ is looking even better than ever today....
..oh, and Attack of the Show is about to barbecue some food....on a guy who is on fire. Whoever came up with this knows what entertainment is all about.
*and yes...I've hated turn-based video games since the 8bit days. Whenever I'm reading up on a game for the first time...the minute I see something like "..in this latest turn-based installment of the.." I will instantly turn the page, and lose all interest forever. In my head, those words instantly signal the Price is Right Loser theme for the game.
*I saw a hot co-worker's panties today. She had on some tight pants, and was bending over by the copy machine. I got the visual on tape....I may even be able to post a snapshot later...if anyone is curious.
*FINALLY I captured that legendary Howard Stern Show soundbyte where they sing "whaaaat a total fagggg!" in perfectly harmonized voices. I was listening to a show I had in mp3 form last night, and I noticed it....clipped that particular segment out into a new mp3, and there ya go. Finally that soundbyte is mine.

*I'm still missing my precious t-angle website. Besides Webshots(*which is more of an accidentally good uppie/voy site anyway), no other site in the entire history of the internet even came close to the voyeru/upskirt content on t-angle. Not even VWeb.(which was around since at least late 96 / early 97. VW sucks now, btw...bastards lost their way...lost sight of the original point and theme) For the quality of the content, I would've guessed it to be a pay-site if I didn't know better. I happen to be using a t-angle pic as my desktop wallpaper right now...it's a great shot from their classic "Aoi" series. Aoi was probably the hottest girl on the site. I did find a few new similar sites just now though...but of course they pale in comparison to the great t-angle.

Man, I got ripped the fuck off today.
I was buying tires for my car because three of the ones I have were worn down. So I hit up the tire place.
I ask the guy for tires, he asks for the make and model, and then asks to go out and take a look at it. I only need three tires, since one had gotten a flat a few months ago and was basically new.
Anyway, he came back in and the conversation goes--
Him - We have three of the same tires that you had on the replaced wheel. They'll run you 69.99 each.
Me - Cool. Give me those.
So he pulls up the forms and stuff, tells me it'll be 2 hours, and makes me sign some stuff. I ask for an oil change as well, and he said that'll run me $20. Total on the form says 340, but he scratches that out and puts $300, then tells me to sign. I figure the rest of the costs are just installation fees and stuff.
Anyway, work gets done and I charge it on my CC. I get the bill, hop back in my car.
What the fuck. Total came out to $340-- the labor for putting on the tires was covered in the cost of the tires themselves. I was charged nearly $100 for lifetime warranties and roadside assitance and all sorts of other bullshit on the fucking tires. Shit I never agreed to, or was even asked if I wanted.
I had to get out of there because my cousin needed a ride, and I didn't have time to contest the charges before they closed. But I'll go back tomorrow and try to get my money back for stuff that I'll never be using.

The bum said "yo man i'm tryin to get some sleep here." They tried moving him but he kept fighting with them. So the cop said "this is the last time. If you dont move we're going to tase you." A lot of men in their late forties, early fifties, commit suicide or become violent sexual criminals because of the combination of loneliness and stress from an unsatisfying job .
It's not their fault though.
Starting from childhood, they constantly berated by conservative parents and religion, telling them they're bad children, they're going to hell if they masterbate, and you need to be a nice guy, fall in love, get married, and only then can you have sex, but only for procreation.
I went to lunch with my co-worker today.
He's 49 years old and alone. No children.
This is a grown ass adult, and he started talking to me about how he dated some woman, but that was seven years ago, he's just getting out of a five year marriage now, but the woman left him, and now he's randomly telling me out of nowhere how lonely he is, he does all these nice things, women don't do anything back, "but that's life right?"
Damn... I don't even know where to begin. Anyway, the advice I gave him was that you need to just be yourself, but be your most excellent self. Mitigate the unnecessary stress from your life. You can't expect any woman to like you unless you like yourself first.
I didn't even go into the more advanced stuff like subtle body language, voice tone, or flirting. Just for the love of God, stop acting needy and desperate. Yeah, you're old now, but that doesn't mean you can stop being a man. Regardless of age, any woman will be unsatisfied and leave you lonely and depressed if you don't always be your best self to keep her excited and attracted.
---------
There's absolutely no reason for any young person to be depressed, feel hopeless, or consider suicide.
You have a brain.
Use it.
Use the brain to find your self motivation. Get out to become your best self possible.
I look back at this exact time last year and I was locking myself in my room playing video games for 8 hours straight on my days off. When I did go to work, I would be miserable and complain about how my life sucks once I got home to write in my journal.
I went out with three different women this week. One came to chill at my house and let me touch her where ever I wanted to (although I didn't and only touched the spots she wanted me to touch after I made her say, "Please.").
I'm honestly amazed at what just a little self motivation and discipline can do, so that's why I'm saying right now, if anybody else is/was having some mental problems or loneliness issues, get off your ass and do something about it. Don't complain. Instead, stfu and handle your shit.
START NOW while you're still young. Time is your most valuable commodity. Otherwise you end up old and miserable like him (and I meet a lot of people in my line of work, so he isn't the first guy I met like that btw). Mario isn't going anywhere. Your time is though.
Woo! Finally my internet is working.

So...if you get on/transfer/whatever to the 360 version of Live...can you still play regular Xbox 1 games on Live? I guess I'm asking...is your account still the same and thus still accessible to old Xbox(non-BC list) games online? I will get a x360 very soon...but I wouldn't want my "upgraded Live" to cut me off from playing xbox 1 stuff....of course I'm referring to the non-BC-list Unreal Champ 2. I realize the harsh truth that this game will NEVER be even considered for the list.(*while things like Barbie Goddamn Fucking Horse Adventure make the list....because the world hates me like that) I still enjoy playing to the 2 or 3 people that play UC2 online....at least when they're not booting me because they suck so much dick.
*y'know...I seriously doubt most supposedly depressed people know what real hopelessness is all about. Like "D-Fens" from Falling Down said...I guess I'm on the other side of the moon now. I've drifted so far into that "dark side", it's actually turned around and made me somewhat content...in an unusual way. I feel free, and no longer so bound to this attachment we refer to as "hope". There simply is no hope....and for some reason, there's a feeling of relief...like I am no longer shackled or imprisoned. It actually feels pretty damn good. It's interesting though, the more I look at this in my constant self-psycho-analyzations...
*What the hell is the point of Star Trek 2.0 on G4? I didn't realize this right away because I loathe that franchise so much...but I recently noticed that they cut the screen way down on this particular broadcast of the show....so the audience has to look at the show with only about 45%, maybe less of the screen...the rest of the screen is taken up by random junk/funfact garbage. How could you even enjoy the show like this, assuming you're a fan in the first place? It's already annoying when I see random ads running just on the bottom of the screen during a show...but this 2.0 has things on the bottom, sides, and top of the screen...leaving the space for the actual show as nothing but a little square in the middle of your tv screen. It's like the worst possible use of "picture in picture".
*Of course, since I've had my HD cam...all of those interesting "characters" I see out on the streets on my way to and from work....all of them...have disappeared. Just my luck, of course. I haven't seen the dude with the newspaper hats in several months now. "Kankoro"(heh, Naruto reference...this guy walks around with a dummy/puppet.) is gone too.

How the fuck is it that so many people can be so utterly honorless (for a lack of a better word)?
Here's a case in point:
In my school, maybe about 2 weeks before it ended, something happened. This kid, one that's not even really my friend, (I knew him, kinda, but he wasn't really my friend), for some reason, is carrying around like $20 worth of quarters. Now don't ask me why he had this shitload of quarters, but he did. He reaches into his pocket to pull something out, and then, a bunch of his coins fall on the floor. There was a bunch of other kids around, and you know what they do? They all scurry to pick up as many coins as possible, and I did too.
You know what they do afterwards? They run off with the coins, knowing it was his. And you know what I do? I, who probably got more than anyone else, just gives them back to him. I'm pretty sure I was the ONLY person to do that. Do you not notice something completely wrong here?
Shouldn't everybody just return his coins to him? He was right there, they knew it belonged to him, but why was it that only I returned them with no problem?
Because they're honorless cunts, and they will be the adults of the future. Pray.

What a bunch of assholes. I would've given his quarters back too. His parents worked hard for that money and look at what happend. Stupid kids think money grows out of trees. Those people will be second on my list on my shoot-a-thon to end cancer where i'll donate $5 a kill towards cancer research.
edit:
It reminds me of when I was in high school. A retard kid fell down and he had trouble getting up. NO ONE HELPPED, there was about 6 people who passed by him. I was the only guy who tried to help him up. I mean come on! He's retarded and fell right next to you. If you were 8-10 ffeet away from him that's understandable to pass by but you were 2 feet a way from him. Help that guy out.

I think its because everybody (at least that I knew) had really low expectations before seeing it. So when it was actually pretty good everyone was really impressed.

Yeah, most people tend to not help anybody out unless there's personal gain for them.
That's fucked up, and it will eventually lead to the fall of humanity...
Heh, it reminds me of some commercial for some insurance company where someone does a good deed and then someone sees it and then proceeds to do a good deed also. It forms a chain of good deeds, done out of pure kindness, and it helps make the world a better place. This is like the exact fucking opposite.

Funny thing is that's the only lasting memory I've had in high school. I don't really remember any thing else and I graduated there a year ago.
edit: outside of highschool when i was 14-18, that's a different story. FUN TIMES HEHE.

its 4:05 AM, I have to be at work at 7:30 AM. Do they sell coffee in an IV bag?
I started reading "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks...its a good investment.
and now, some Sage Francis for you all:
While emcees were burning ism I earned degrees in journalism,
Learning the system and about how freedom of speech is worth killing for.
But watch what you say in all those interviews!
You're in limbo? WELL WE'RE IN LIMBO TOO!
Contact the dead to get advice from Anne Landers.
Transmit personal problems like head lice in bandanas.
The big man on campus has delusions of grandure,
Doing a thesis on ebonics, unconsciously using poor grammar.
Your mannerisms are suitable to cancer victims.
How much opposition does it take for your stance or position
To dance to this rhythm? (you're jignorant, baby!)
Dance to this rhythm. (Go ahead, baby!)
Ah, forget it. It's actually accepted for rappers to have no ethics.
Their albums would benefit if they put in half the effort.
I attended candle light vigils for Matthew Sheppard,
While you put out another "fuck you, faggot" record.
That Ain't Right.
I blame my hate mail on typographical errors,
Correct the mispellings and then send out thank you notes for the love letters.
Accept rejection when I get a return to sender.
Reject acceptance when the girl's got an agenda.
I've entered this Brave New World of true cowards,
Talkin' 'bout, "No one goes to shows no more. They're too crowded."
So they stay home and burn shit.
Then they say, "I downloaded your life off the net. Totally worth it."
It's 2003. Time to stop acting like assholes.
It ain't about backpackers or cash flow,
Fashionable afros, salon style dreds or frat clothes,
And it ain't about these fuckin' loud mouths shoutin, "BATTLE!"
African medalions didn't sell platinum albums.
That's part of the reason why you think hiphop died.
It was here before you were. It'll be here in the future.
Life's not a bitch, she's just sick of being personified.
That Ain't Right.
This household is filled with the half-deads.
They've got a mouthfull of pills because they're crack heads.
They shout that I'm ill, but they're doubtful of skill,
With the type of stabbing that turns my back red.
I don't blast lead, I write until my pen explodes.
All over fashion dreds and your Echo clothes.
I don't listen when they say, "Shit ain't ever gonna change,"
and they say I ain't got no soooooouuuuuul...

I was putting on my boxers and the next thing I knew my dick was on fire. Then I took the boxers off to find my penis covered with ants. Trust me, that kind of thing doesnt turn anyone on.
