As for the BP...
I predict that Jotaro will win. I honestly don't like it (no offense RN) because I dont know the guy at all, but oh well. But yeah, considering that RN is such a funny guy, and has a lot of fan support, plus how overpowered Jotaro seems, I just don't seem him losing. Especially when both his teammates are still in, and as such RN has way more spare stock and assists than anyone else.

SLASH also has fan support, almost as much as RN. And Dudley and Ken are a couple of favorites as well, locally anyway. Expect both of them to go a bit farther at least.

Az, I feel bad for how your TFs got beasted upon. I was a proud supporter of Team Metal Scrappers, so I had to vote for Gravity Man over Starscream. But Soundwave getting slaughtered by Michael Jordan was utter bullshit. I hope Prime makes it far, and I agree with SAGA in it being possible thanks to your popularity and some pity voting.

And for me... I bet Dante loses his next fight. I'm out of assists, and only have enough stock for one more round. So at best he might get through one more, but I doubt it. Especially because I think Ken will prolly be Dante's next opponent, and SLASH also has a lot of fan pull.

I hate anime so much. This Adult Swim show is for damn nerds. "Paranoia Agent" is an anime about people who make anime? God damn... if there were some sex in it then maybe I would pay attention. I hate all these nerdy anime shows where the people talk in high pitched voices or the girls are really effeminate guys that look like girls so much though. I wish Adult Swim would stop showing them because I think they suck.

Hm, I've been watching anime for over twenty years, and I'm not sure where the hate's coming from. Of course, it doesn't help that everything that's broadcast in North America is hopelessly butchered beyond recognition (http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=145) so people see only the so-called shiniest (and dumbest) parts of the shows. There are some great series out there with excellent storylines and characterization that don't over/use the traits associated with stereotypical anime; it just happens that the animated form is the medium used to tell the story and nothing more.

I love Prime to death, but Soundwave and Starscream are more interesting. I was sad to see them go, ESPECIALLY Soundwave. I got back from vacation and was shocked to see that result.

It's the usual backlash with something that becomes popular. Back in the day, it was still really underground, and everyone felt like they were in on some secret no one else was wise to. Now it's mainstream, so you're going to have people who hate that fact, as well as people who hate mainstream simply because it's mainstream.

Well, for me I dislike anime because of the artwork. I just very much dislike the way in which things are drawn. Too much detail on some things, not enough on others, sometimes really bizzarre proportions, and just in general the way things are often styled or animated.

Its just a medium, so its sort of silly that its all lumped together like it is. Its animated motion pictures from Japan. The styles vary, the subject matter varies, the quality varies. I personally won't turn down an entertaining story no matter where it's coming from.

So Alpha Division is down to Prime, Scrooge, Rock Lee, and Chun/Dizzy. Prime vs Scrooge would be interesting in the old-school sense. I think Prime can win that though. Prime vs Rock Lee would be hard with all the Naruto fanboys. Prime vs Dizzy...I think Prime can win that, but Prime vs Chun-Li, the First Lady of Fighting...hmm hard. Plus, Prime will have a six vote disadvantage from the get-go.

I don't see Scrooge beating anyone else except for maybe Dizzy, maybe Chun if the anti 3S whore hate goes far enough. Rock's only potential problems would be Chun and Prime. I think Rock beats Chun though, and Prime...that's too hard to call. If Dizzy wins today, I think she beats Scrooge but that's it. Chun has a better chance, but her battles will still be uphill.

Apparently back then I was hung up on this white girl in my class named Stephanie...then in kindergarten for some reason I liked this fat girl named "Reinisha"....and I also loved my kindergarten teacher, Ms. Sloan. I remember trying to sneak a peek under her skirt during naptime, as she walked around the room.

ah yes...crushes...that's some memories there...also in kindergarten on thru to the 4th grade, I had it bad for this one girl Takita. She had big baby-doll eyes like a cartoon character, and had the cutest facial expressions...she was also even with me on an intellectual level; we were consistently the top tier of the class time and again. Heh, but then again school is pitifully easy at that point. Anyway, during that crush there was Aisha in 2nd grade, then Takita's friend "Tova"(haha)....I miss elementary school so much. Let's put aside the fact that I've never liked "own" as a net slang term in the first place...I assumed that if you actually said "pwn", it would still be pronounced like the actual word "owned", and the "p" in there is just for the visual on internet forums.......but apparently I was wrong and that would make too much sense. At first I thought it was stupid that the word "owned" evolved to "own3d", and then to "pwned"...but the fact that people actually enunciate "PONED" just takes the cake for me...sometimes little things like that just really irk me. I remember way back in elementary school when kids always said "MURRK" for "Milk", and one day I couldn't stand it anymore. I actually just blurted out "IT'S MILK. THERE IS NO 'R'!" They said "We know" in probably an annoyed "he thinks he knows everything" tone, but nothing changed. People STILL say "MURRRK" in Memphis, TN...I'm not sure where it began, but it only continued on, and I heard that garbage all through school. More Battle Poll thoughts...

So Alpha Division is down to Prime, Scrooge, Rock Lee, and Chun/Dizzy. Prime vs Scrooge would be interesting in the old-school sense. I think Prime can win that though. Prime vs Rock Lee would be hard with all the Naruto fanboys. Prime vs Dizzy...I think Prime can win that, but Prime vs Chun-Li, the First Lady of Fighting...hmm hard. Plus, Prime will have a six vote disadvantage from the get-go.

I don't see Scrooge beating anyone else except for maybe Dizzy, maybe Chun if the anti 3S whore hate goes far enough. Rock's only potential problems would be Chun and Prime. I think Rock beats Chun though, and Prime...that's too hard to call. If Dizzy wins today, I think she beats Scrooge but that's it. Chun has a better chance, but her battles will still be uphill.I hate to say it bro, but I'm gonna call Alpha Division for Rock Lee. A whole bunch of Naruto fans just appeared out of nowhere and voted in hte Manhunter vs. Rock Lee fight. I'm betting the same will happen again, costing you Prime. I've had to fight P-Joe and A-Joe before though and it was annoying as hell. Joe can whiff jabs to stuff your Sagat's stand short, his random far fierce will beat your limbs, and max range slide is the most annoying move of all.

I had to go to training mode to learn the exact range of the slide and how to fight against such an oddball character the first times I got whooped by him. I stay out of range against the slide and fight it with Sagat crouching fierce now (I have stuffing potential and can also whiff punish). If I block it, I don't ever try to punish with anything other than fast d.MK too (maybe I should start using the raid super). Most of the time I don't try to punish it at all since Joe is completely safe when he ranges the slide correctly. It's not like Blanka's slide where Sagat gets a free far s.MK after blocking the majority of the time and what makes Joe's ground game as annoying as it is.

My grades in most of my classes are fucked. Without intervention, I can't possibly pass the ones I've taken this semester. Which means that I'd have to repay my financial aid-- all 4k of it-- unless I do some crazy course managing and take the maximum amount I can next semester, and the semester after.

I have a paper on Wuthering Heights due in around 7 hours, and I need to start on that. I thought the book was terrible until the very last parts, which is strange since most people prefer the earlier segments and dislike the later ones. Heathcliff is a badass. He is a dick, and a fucker, but he is also a badass. I think I like Hareton the most.

I also have another kind of paper due in 5 hours, and not only have I not started on it, I have no fucking idea at all what it is supposed to be about.

I actually retired from CvS2 a while back. I don't play fighting games (or any games sadly) much at all these days. A few weeks ago, I had a strong urge to play some CvS2 for some reason, but that was about it. I actually fired up some CvS1 as well.

I sometimes like to practice Shosho with Sak...keeps my execution healthy. That's about it though. If I do make it out to a-cho, I'm gonna play A3. CvS2 seems to have more or less died in Japan at any rate.

And about Rock...I dunno, the matter needs further investigating.

Hmm... I'm up against Ken. Dante certainly stands a chance there. But it sure would be ironic if SLASH takes out both Talbain and Dante, when Talbain and Dante took out 2/3 of Sep's team. But still, I think that maybe I can handle Ken. IM was by far likely to be the worst match-up for Dante. While Mario may actually stand a chance there.

And you can beat Scrooge, Az. I'm *almost* positive that the Alpha Finals will be Prime vs Rock. In the Omega Division, I'm guessing Dudley vs Jotaro. For Gamma, I think it may actually be Gambit vs Storm. If anyone's read Prisoner of Fire, they'd know that Gambit is random enough to beat Batman. Prime can beat Scrooge. Unless SRK wants to make Scrooge this year's Servebot, this is probably as far as he goes. I see Rock beating Chun, which prob leads to Prime vs Rock. This will be hard, especially considering Rock's last match was suspect with a lot of new voting. At the moment I call it for Rock, but I'm still optimistic about Prime's chances.

I can't believe I fell for the hype of "teachers have it so bad, yadda yadda". As I've taken more unemployment claims from these teachers...I'm seeing some nice little salaries at least for teachers in this state. The cost of living is lower in TN of course, so when I see someone who's made 35k in the past year after only teaching 2 years(sometimes less), that doesn't sound like "shit pay" to me. Get the hell outta here with that bullshit. I only wish I knew all this earlier, so I could've gone the "Art Education" route, and had my certification fresh out of college. You don't even want to know how much 35k per year beats the hell out of my salary at this job. Please....me with 35k per year RIGHT NOW would be a dangerous thing. And then they get all that time off...of course teaching someone else's lame ass asshole kids is by definition a pretty sucky job, but it's completely wrong to think teachers are in such a sad state of affairs. In fact, once they lock up this nice little thing called "tenure", they're basically LOCKED in and can't be fired unless they did something amazingly stupid like fuck a student, or kill someone, etc. (sidenote---yes, I could resist temptation. I wouldn't dare throw away a JOB over some pussy....especially in this fucked up job market where you can go forever without even getting considered for a damn thing.)

Here's how I know; there was an office "pool" of tickets, and I didn't have money on me at the time to get in on some of that action...SO...as per my luck, of course that group will win, simply because I'm not involved. Remember the way Japanese cabs are set up - instead of two people playing side to side on the same cab and monitor, there are two different cabs and monitors. There will be a row of machines, and one side will be 1P while the machine on the direct opposite side will be 2P.

So basically, if you want in, you have to stand behind the person you *think* is going to lose. Once that person gets up, the people standing behind him will kind of hesistate and look around before someone finally takes the seat. People usually try to go in a first-come-first serve basis, but it quite often doesn't work that way.

The biggest problem is that because of the way the cabs are arraigned, you have to guess/speculate who is going to lose. On slow days, it is possible to circumnavigate around the row of machines and get to the other side while it's still open. On busy days...not a chance. So if you stand behind the guy you think is going to lose and he actually wins, you're SOL. If, midway through the match, you go stand behind the guy who is losing, and he makes a comeback, you're SOL. If the guy you're standing behind goes on a 10 game win streak, you are really SOL.

Also, I've seen some people ignore the people waiting behind him and just drop another coin in after losing. And, some people will just rush to an open chair while the other people behind it are hesistating. Once, I was standing behind the Guilty Gear XX#R machines, when this kid came up from out of nowhere and snatched up a just vacated chair. This kid really pissed me off, because he then picked Sol, and proceeded to get a 23+ game win streak from nothing other that Dust Loop. This kid didn't move unless it got you in the Dust Loop in some way. Unfortunately, the little fucker was quite good at it.

Except for the high level of comp, Japanese arcades kinda suck.

New thought.

Today I was on the train, after failing my Japanese drivers license test for the 4th time :mad: :bluu:, but that's another story. This girl sits down directly across from me...I was incredibly attracted to her. She was wearing a lot of facial makeup, which I usually hate with a fiery burning passion, but I don't know, everything was clicking for me. She was wearing a blouse, slightly unbuttoned, and I had a few nice bra shots as well.

She kept looking at me. Sure, sitting directly across from a person you are in their eyesight, but I'd look up at her and our eyes would meet - this happened a lot. I knew she was watching me closely when I yawned, and then she did - the old yawn transfer thing. I tried not to always be looking at her, but I couldn't help myself, and a lot of the times I looked over at her I caught her looking at me.

Anyway, 20 minutes later, she got off at the station before mine, and that's the end of the story. Nothing happened past just looking at each other on the train. I'm dating now anyway, so it's not like I feel like I missed out on something here, but I still can't help but to wonder, was there an opportunity there? What could I have done differently? What should I do in situations like those? Hmm.

Random thoughts, right? I had some random thoughts about walking.

Sometimes when I'm walking for ten minutes from class to class, I like to follow people. I walk behind them and synchronize my steps in time to theirs so that I'm walking just as far and just as fast as they are. It might look a bit weird, but I'm always hoping that no one really notices.

You know that saying "walk a mile in my shoes?" Yeah, that's the idea. How much can you tell about someone from the way they walk? I don't know, that's why I do it. Quick, short steps, numerous quick little pauses = a frosh that's late for a class that he doesn't know the location of? Slow, purposeful strides = dude knows where he's going, but doesn't really mind when he gets there...maybe one of my TA's that's always five minutes late?

You do it enough and you start thinking up stories for these people. Maybe this guy's slowly half-skipping his way to meet up with his girl for coffee, where he'll dump her because he's realized he prefers the company of men (who wouldn't?). Maybe this guy's travelling to an inter-gang breakdance battle, and he's conserving his energy and protecting his dancing-machines until he gets there. Maybe this girl stepped in some gum and that weird gimp in her right leg is because she's trying to rub it off on the ground because she can still feel a little bit of stickiness in her step even though she already spent like a whole minute trying to scrape it off on the stairs when she first realized she stepped in gum and now she's late for lunch with her friends and she doesn't want them to know she stepped in gum and laugh at her and call her the gum-stepping-loser-queen. Who knows!?! Only they do.

But maybe if I walk behind them long enough and walk the walk well enough, eventually I can figure some of it out. Like if I ever get to the point where I've gathered so much experience that I can break down someone's walking style just by looking at them. Like how baseball hitting or pitching coaches can look and criticize a player's swing or pitch mechanics. Like if I can break down a walk into a dozen different little mini-movement or katas, like when the Taskmaster was training USAgent how to throw a shield like the real Captain America and he realized that there were like a thousand tiny little nuances that he had to master first. Or if I can equate subtle body movements to emotions like...looks down at the floor while walking = social introvert, hands in pockets = suspicious, calculating something, high heel ankle = sexual frustration...I don't know, whatever. That's some Batgirl body reading ability right there.

Wouldn't it be the coolest thing to just be able to look at nothing else but the accelerograph of someone's walk and say like "Yep, this 5'4", 113.5-113.8 pound girl of Eastern European descent is clearly sexual frustrated, according to this pressure spike of the left heel at the 1.05 second mark and the consequent relatively light impression of the right tertiary toe at 1.34 seconds."? I could just open up a psychiatric office with a pressure sensitive welcome mat, and patients would be in-and-out in like thirty seconds flat.

This weekend while we were walking around Pacific Mall, out of nowhere, my mom just says to me that I have a defective walk. Not exactly her words (since she barely knows any English) but that's the impression I got from it. She says that I walk too much on the outsides of my feet, and that I walk like a tightrope walker. ...what the hell is that!?! I have a defective walk!?! Carpet Lint - the anchor of the William Berczy Grade 8 100-Meter relay team (that only finished second in the 100-Meter sprint because Emu had an inhuman starting gate jump in the final heat) and the undisputed champion runner of Mr. Foote's Richmond Hill High School Grade 9 physical education class - that Carpet Lint walks DEFECTIVELY? That's like saying Larry Bird's left hand is gimp, or that Martin Luther King had a lisp. I'm going to go get fitted for a custom walking shoe someday, like at one of those crazy places where they video tape your feet as you run on a treadmill. And then I'll see for sure whether or not my steps really are wacked out. Crazy mom, what does she know?

That would change everything though. A relevation like that shakes the very fundamental core of your being. I mean, isn't walking like the easiest thing to do in the world, next to breathing (provided that you still have a non-paralyzed, working body, of course)? So if I had asthma as a child, and I have a defective walk, doesn't that mean I've screwed up the two easiest things you can do in life? How could you live with that? You would be a complete utter failure as a human being. Suicide wouldn't even be good enough, since you couldn't even properly walk to the fucking bridge you want to jump off of.

Walking is fucking crazy. Did you know that? Holy SHIT.

Hahah, I like the cut of your jib. Seriously. I think about seemingly pointless things like this, too. Most of the time when I mention it, people just look at me like I'm crazy. One thing I always think about when I'm in a weird mood especially is color. I think everybody sees color differently. Perhaps what you see as blue, is what someone else sees as red. But since it's been 'blue' all their life (or your life), it's just... a normal blue, you know? For people who worry about matching, say they're wearing a blue outfit to bring out the blue in their eyes... but if you stop and think about it, what if that's the same to someone else as it is to you as being red. Someone wearing a red outfit, with red eyes. But... it seems normal, and rather when they wear blue to THEM, then it's weird. BUT THEY SEE THIS BLUE AS RED.

Today I Experienced Extreme Fear, Anger, and then Joy back to back all within the time span of about 15 seconds.........


I was running a little late for work today because I had to eat a good breakfast this morning, Since cooking always seems to take me forever I left the house 10 minutes later than I should have. So to compensate for time lost I sped a little when I hit the highway. I was going 80 in a 65.

About halfway there I noticed someguy next to me driving a Cadillac going more or less the same speed. Although we were both speeding we didnt really want to go anything over 80. After a few minutes driving side by side we pass a bridge were a cop is hiding. (THE FEAR) I look in my rear view mirror and he pulls out into the road and starts catching up to us. The cop is in my lane and turns on his lights. (this has got to be one of the worst feelings) I start to slow down and look at the other driver. That fucking ass hole is pointing at me and laughing. (THE ANGER) as I slow down and start to pull over to the side of the road the Cop turns on his siren and immediatley gets behind the guy in tha Cadillac and signals for him to pull over. (the Joy)

I cant believe how extremely lucky I was. For some odd reason I have been getting alot of that lately. For example:

- Due to some glitch at work in the payroll system. It shows that I still have 4 weeks of un-used vacation time left even though I actually used it all up last month.

- When I went to buy Castlevania for the DS the clerk un-knowingly scanned a used gameboy game so when i checked my reciept after paying with my credit card i was only charged $9.00.

- Last weekend i won a Poker game against guys that are alot better than me. and the pot was a really good size.

- And finally I cant disregard how I managed to survive a Brown Recluse Spider attack without getting bitten.

Both of my cousins (who were raised born again Christian and were supposed to turn out to be good kids, whereas I, the satanist daughter who left home at 13 was going to be the fuck-up) are now pregnant.. the older cousin is on her second kid (the second kid is out of wedlock, while she is still married to this guy who is in the Marines, and stationed out in Japan!) and the younger one is my age and is having her first (her excuse? she has no health insurance so she couldn't afford birth control - last i checked you walk in a planned parenthood and they give you a million condoms!).. AND the younger cousin isn't married.

A big part of me wants to gloat. You know, because i'm the one who is marrying a great guy who is always around for when something happens in the family, who shows up and spends constant time with the family, and who is plain out helpful (my fiance fucking fixed a leak in the cold water in the basement by the washer, AND put in the new washer.. when my father couldn't do it).. and i'm not pregnant. Sure, i'm not in school at the moment. And i'm not working.

I work for two men and a truck when im not in school. I was just thinking how I fucking hate the fat bald manager. i'm in the process of rushing down my GED then going for college assist.. i'm actually an aspiring journalist. I was supposed to graduate this year - but my HS gym waiver expired (my HS didn't have a gym so we had a waiver from the board of ed that said we were exempt from gym), so basically I had 3 years of gym to make up. I'd have aged out, as there was only ONE gym class in the school. Every teacher I spoke to told me to just go get my GED because by the time I got my gym credits handled, i'd be aged out of HS. :tdown:

Diaries of a BP Host:

Some of you might think hosting a thing like SRK Battle Poll is easy as ABC and 123 (I sorta flashbacked to an old Jackson 5 song there). But it really does involve lots of hard work. And let me explain why....

Writing stories is the first and foremost. It usually gets pretty hectic when you try to conceive ideas for backgrounds, fighting scenarios, dialogues, choreographies, all that shit. It also gets especially difficult when you try to think about characters you don't have the slightest idea about (like The Prince from Katamari Dacacy) and thus you have to resort to good ol' friend Google or Wikipedia to further feed your knowledge. And it's not one, but FOUR stories in one day...and twice, even (one for opening, other for closing). The closing story is probably the toughest, since you have to write the story based on the winner, which sometimes doesn't define itself until the last vote. It's easy to write when matches get defined by DESTROY since they end before time ends, but for the most part...it's a pain.

I dunno at which time the poll closes in your area, but it's usually 1:00 am where I am. Try to write stories at 1:00 am...it's usually not pretty. Then SRK acts gay and decides to break down for whatever update they are doing. Then you have to wait until SRK gets back up. I usually go to sleep around 2:00 am. I wake at 9:00 am, and after breakfast, I sit at my PC and write even MORE stories for the next day. I haven't had a rest even during BP breaks, since I also have to write the backstory of what's going on in the tournament. Thankfully, it has been reduced to 2 matches per day, so my job gets easier...somewhat.

This is where frustration ensues when people start saying STORIES ARE TEH LAME! YOU SUCK! TAKE THAT SHIT TO GAIA (namely jae hoon). Shit, if you don't like it, don't bash it, it's not like I'm gonna fuckin' sway your votes. Geez.

Then you have the usual bitching of users who say OMG jOO COUNTED VOTES WRONG or THAT ASSIST IS TOO BROKEN!, you know, the usual BP heat which the host usually gets for allowing it. But, then again, it comes from people who a) Don't read the rules and b) Are on the receiving end of haterade. These punks don't last shit. :rolleyes:

Oh yeah, and I usually open a notepad to take note of all votes for all matches. I also have a whole Word document with all the assists, divisions, results, and the stories for the way (I don't save the daily stories, if you were wondering). I may actually save it, for once, to keep track of this BP for posteriority.

But all in all, it's a great experience. It's kinda like how all SRK comes together for some reason. You usually can't gather SRK like that unless EVO comes along, I guess. And no matter how many spinoffs come out (Woman Poll, User Poll, and whatever you fucks have in mind for future polls), I usually believe that the one true BP is this. And I do hopeit eventually becomes a SRK trademark for TRUE JUSTICE!

On a personal note, BP also keeps my mind off how sucky my life is. For those of you who don't know, I am born American, but I live in Mexico. My goal is to move BACK to the States because of the obvious equation that dollars > pesos. And I have the papers, so why the fuck not? Well, for once, my mom is being so much of a bitch about it and doesn't seem too hot about me moving away or something because every time I say "Hey, mom, let's talk about me moving back to the States" she's like :rolleyes: and usually doesn't go too much in depth about the topic. :mad:

I know it will be a tough ride since not even born Americans have an easy time finding a job (judging by the several job threads here), but damn, why does everyone wanna make it harder? Oh yeah, and my mom has this utterly shitty idea that I should "get a job in the States from here" and I'm like :wtf: THAT SHIT DON'T FLY! It sucks because as the organizer, you're going to take the heat for any and everything. Like today. When the finals end up being Jotaro vs Storm or Iron Man, people are going to complain about a one team final. You can't outright ban it, but knowing that it's headed that way you try correct things using your own team's resources and then people accuse you of hating. It's a no-win situation.

Despite the complainers, I think a lot of people have enjoyed this battle poll, myself included. And heh, I wear the crown of getting hated on. I think no matter what happens, there's gonna be whiners, so you just have to remember that this is SRK and take it in stride. Lots of us still appreciate what you've done this far.

Uhhh...I never said I was a computer nerd. Never considered myself to be one, actually. Just to say a word for myself, yes, I do have real friends, and no, I am not known as a computer geek among them. Yeah, I also attend social events here and there (although they are pretty few and far between), but then again, this all seems irrelevant to where I'm trying to aim for, and that is declare utter independence. But the weird thing is even though my mom has been preaching for the longest time that "she can't wait for us to move out", when presented with such scenario, she seems to have just 'chickened out'. :confused:

Yeah, I'll worry about getting a job and all that jazz (I think I've earned quite a bit of interview experience with the several interviews I've had for the last 6 months or so) once I move back, but the problem is just that...GET THERE. Like I said, I'm ready to jump on the next plane, but the issue here is support. One thing is to have the will, and the other thing is to make it work.

Oh, and I do have a college diploma and all that shit (dunno how good it will be in the States, but whatever).

Oh, and on the GF stuff...if you had asked me this a year ago, I would have probably said YES, I'M TOTALLY EMO, CRAAAAWWWWLIIIING IIIIINNN MYYYY SKIIIIINN. But after some 'unfortunate' events happened in the last year or so, I've decided myself to finally wait it out. Let's just say I kept asking myself 'Am I really THAT bad to be single?', and then life slapped me in the face with a scenario I didn't like, and now, I'm in no rush. And besides, getting a girl now would be pretty inadequate, considering my motive to move out, which would probably break up the relationship. Chun pulled off the victory against Rock. I like Chun better than Rock, and do believe she could win that fight anyway, but my interest in this fight wasn't purely character-based. If Prime beats Scrooge, he'll face the winner, now Chun. Anti 3S turtle hate can work against Chun, but Rock can ride the wave of Naruto fanboyism.

And I think it's almost 100% certain at this point that RN will have at least one of his characters make the finals.

No offense to the guys above, but this is the type of thing that bothers me, and it's not jsut because it's me. I was irked when it happened to S.a.g.a too. Why penalize someone just because they chose their team well and worked the shit out of them? I propaganda'd my ass off and it just seems dumb to me to be penalized for it. I could see if I was just riding the wave of my characters names and not posting anything, but I've supported this thing from beginning to end and I'm almost getting dumped on for it. If you're that worried about finals make everyone pick ONE char. This isn't elementary school where little Billy gets placed on a team because noone picked him. Having the battles railroaded all because I did well is WORSE than facing myself IMO, because it takes away my incentive to participate. It's like why should I post at all since no one cares what I say and are set on voting against me anyway and I haven't done anything to warrant that.

I had no problem with the organizer using that assist against RN. I just thought the assist itself was broken. RN was right, it had the ability to create a 30 vote difference, sometime's that's more than the amount of people who even VOTE. I didn't catch it when he used it vs. Gato, but damn. I'm sure had Gato have gotten an assist he would've been able to affect maybe 2-3 votes, and that would be it.

On top of that, RN had my favorite team from day one. I'm a Marvel whore and Iron Man is my favorite Marvel superhero except maybe next to Dr. Strange (or Adam Warlock). On top of that I'll give Jotaro mad props and same goes to Storm. Frankly, I wouldn't be bothered if RN vs. RN is what ends up happening, because I think his team was just better than everyone else's.

When I made my team (Ramza, Ibuki, Keaton), I figured Ramza would be the only one going anywhere, and I was right. I had to ride out a bunch of blind Naruto love (Ibuki isn't as fast as Rock Lee, well, I don't think the medium is the same, if you put Ibuki into an anime you'd probably see her speeding up quite a bit, just because you can't portray someone that fast in a fighting game and still make it fair) and a LOT of blind Final Fantasy hate. But I stuck with it, I knew I create a flawed team on those reasons from the get go.

RN, however, created an excellent team from the get go. There's very few Marvel haters that are obviously out-weighed by the Marvel lovers, and by just looking up their powers people can go "Holy shit!". Compare that to Azrael's team, however. First of all, a lot of SRKers, including myself (I'm 18), weren't really riding ou the peak of the Transformers popularity. Since there's a lot of us who are at the age range of 17-20, you lose that audience already. I've heard so much random shit about the Transformers that I try to vote for them but I don't know under which circumstances I'm right in voting for them. It basically comes down to "I think he's slow enough for Soundwave to step on because I know jackshit about Soundwave, other than the fact that he's ginormous.".

Even though worse graphics and avs are placed up all the time, I was asked to take it down. or at least that's what I was told. You see, I put that av up on a friday and went out of town. When I got back, I was banned. When I asked why I was ignored so I had someone else ask for me. The response: "He was told to take it down, we took it down for him and he put it back up." ...which was all news to me since I hadn't even been on my pc. I questioned it again and was ignored so I just let it go.
