yeah, but in Az's case he wasn't here to properly support them in some cases (through no fault of his own). When he did support prime the result was crazy.

it was starscream, and he got hated on because his assist is so strong. prevents stock breaks? that's insane and people feared it I think.

RN, I'm not hating on you, not at all. You've done a good job getting your characters through, and deserve a spot in the finals. I just know people are gonna bitch if it came down to a RN vs RN final. I'm also trying to think ahead as to which characters I would and would not like to face, should Prime make it past his next match and beyond.

The problem with me is I live in a whole 'nother timezone. The poll starts at around my midnight. The meat of the poll runs while I'm at work, and ends before I get home. I can't really access computers at work, and even if I can SRK is blocked. I've been fortunate with the past few matches...one happened while I was on vacation and at home, the other happened on a day where I was working close to home and had a light enough schedule to run back and forth and monitor the poll. And then the Soundwave match happened while I was on vacation in a whole nother country and nowhere near a computer for a week.

The rules and voting have been favoring people who actively participate, which is good. It also kinda screws me...I'd love to participate more, but just physically can't.

Prime's next match will take place on a day when I can't monitor the poll. I can post arguments/slander right at the beginning, but that's about all I can do. I'm thinking of asking someone to handle the fight for me, ie breaking stocks and using assists as necessary.

And it's weird, because even if Starscream got taken out because of his assist...I still have it. It would have been smarter to take out Prime and Soundwave and leave me Starscream, because he can't assist himself.

Starscream was up first (IIRC) and killing him meant you lost two of his assists right off the bat, but you're right. In hindsight killing Prime and Soundwave would have been much smarter. I honestly expected you to be in my position right now.

Well RN, as I said in the other post, I almost want to vote against you for that. But I just can't because I generally try to vote towards logic, except when I don't know the character and am not familiar with his/her source material. However, this still means that Jotaro gets no votes from me because I've never read the manga/played that game. But if it comes down to IM vs Ken, IM gets my vote. If it's Storm vs Bats, I'd prolly vote Storm there. I'm trying as hard as possible to not be biased. Most of the time.

Prime was my very first match, and he barely beat Sentinel. Starscream was second, and he lost to Gravity Man in the first round. I thought maybe it was just a strong anti-bitch sentiment (Starscream is King Bitch) and with Prime's close match and Starscream going down I found myself glad I had Soundwave. Then I went on vacation, and asked Lantis if Soundwave's match was coming up, could it be delayed...but it couldn't, and Lantis did his best to rep my character in my absence, but Soundwave still lost to MJ. Then Prime ran through Gief and Duke, and here we are.

I'd love to think Prime will beat Scrooge no problem, but at this point I can't assume anything. I've gotten all paranoid and shit. :razzy: And he's got the haunt working against him. If he does get past Scrooge, then it's onto Chun for the Alpha finals. That won't be easy. If I can get Prime out of Alpha Division, I'll be fairly happy.

My voting...first I go by the characters, and who I like better/who I think would win. If I don't know one character, then I'll vote for the one I'm familar with. If I don't know both, then I'll look at the user...who still has characters in versus who's on the verge of total elimination, or who's supported me in the past. The last method is political, but that's only if I don't know both characters.

Yeah, it's normal. You've been burning all of the energy that you normally store by working out, so you're bound to get hungrier at a faster rate. It's nothing to worry about. It's just your metabolism speeding up, which is cool. I eat like a horse because I run, and I eat like, every 3 or 4 hours, to give you a idea on how it can be.

Shit, my MCAT scores are supposed to be posted today, so I'm just sitting here at work worrying about how I did and checking the website every half hour. This is almost as bad as a pregnancy scare, which is not cool.

I got into a fight on the Q72 bus. The combination of rain(walking in said rain without an umbrella) and getting a B on my PS ad lead to this. I saw a cat I haven't seen since grade school. The faggot is sitting in the back of the bus and I am standing. I say hello and he says hello and then starts talking about the old days. He then says something about me being some guys bitch (the guy he's talking about is still my best friend today. There are only three types of school pizza I remember and that doesn't seem like one of them.

My little sister is blaming me for something for the 4th time this month already, so she is going to get back on the Dark side of Bear very soon and I take no prisioners. Everyone gets scarred. Too bad: we were finally getting a good streak going in the 19 years we knew each other and she is quick to start from scratch. I pity the fool who begs to get hurt by Bear.

Pop star Kelly Clarkson upgraded to a buffed, toned body; dyed her hair blonde; and put on 8 tons of make-up as well. Looking at her still does absolutely nothing for me though. :tdown: It's the face or something. It reminds me of how fake everything else is, and since I shallowly judge people based on their looks, I hate her music as a consequence. The body is nice and shows what money can buy you (able to afford fancy diet and personal trainer). Nicer clothes is always a great upgrade as well. All that make-up and the hair is too much though. You can still see the face and it's weird to picture the brunette girl that used to be on TV a few years ago.

She reminds me of what Mandy Moore used to look like when she first started making TV/magazine appearences actually. Prepackaged pop star that American public is suppose to love. Anyway, on to more important things-- I bought seasons 1 and 2 of Monk, since I remember I kinda sorta liked it back then.

But this show blows. I can guess whodunit the moment whoever it was that done it is introduced, and the writing is really bad, regardless of how good the premise is.

I've been watching season 1, but the thing is, I only bought seasons 1 and 2 because season 2 has an episode I want to see about the main character's brother.

The DVD cost $40-- and although I opened season 1, I haven't opened season 2 yet. At this point I can still take it back and get my money refunded, but I'm hoping that season 2 has better writing in which case I'd actually enjoy the show.

And Arrested Development is too good. What are some other great series to get on DVD? Scrubs looks like it is fantastic, and I'll probably pick up The Office (UK) sometime soon.

anyway, here's the deal: I went to Ohio University for two quarters, and fucking HATED it.....went into their fine arts program (I was gonna be an illustrator)

decided it wasn't what I wanted (I still need some good art training, just didn't like the direction OU was taking it), so I transferred to a small Technical/Arts College near my home (Highly regarded in the Tristate area of Ohio WV and Western PA).....they taught me filmmaking, and Business/Computer Graphics, which I'm VERY happy in......

I always advise people who want educational advice from me that I'm the worst person to give it......but after I give it, they usually say that I'm the best, because I get it better than most......

I fucked around in HS, and almost didn't graduate.......I've mentioned this here on SRK, I don't have a REAL HS diploma, I have a GED......

I got fucking lucky, and managed to pass the state GED test before HS graduation ceremonies, and therefore, got to technically 'graduate' with my class......

it was a wakeup call, and so I got my ass in college, and studied my ass off.....I was scared.....

it's okay to have your fun, just don't let your fun get in the way of your studies......

but, if it does, don't let people keep you down, there's always another chance......

But this show blows. I can guess whodunit the moment whoever it was that done it is introduced, and the writing is really bad, regardless of how good the premise is.

I've been watching season 1, but the thing is, I only bought seasons 1 and 2 because season 2 has an episode I want to see about the main character's brother.

The DVD cost $40-- and although I opened season 1, I haven't opened season 2 yet. At this point I can still take it back and get my money refunded, but I'm hoping that season 2 has better writing in which case I'd actually enjoy the show.

And Arrested Development is too good. What are some other great series to get on DVD? Scrubs looks like it is fantastic, and I'll probably pick up The Office (UK) sometime soon.

I'm going through the Arrested Development Season 2 DVD's right now, actually. It is easily one of the best comedies I have ever seen. Anyone who hasn't seen this show needs to go out and buy the Season 1 DVD set. I swear, you won't regret it.

Let me put it like this...

If Arrested Development was on at the same time as an episode of 24...I would still watch 24, BUT I WOULD FEEL BAD ABOUT IT.

That, I feel, is the greatest praise a non-24 show can get.

Scrubs is also very excellent - it's like Arrested Development is the #1 comedy and Scrubs is the #1A. Or vice versa maybe. It's into season five though, so you might have to play some catch-up.

Also, The Office (US) is fantastic. I haven't seen the UK version, but that has nothing to do with the awesomeness of the NBC one. I'm going to pick up the Season 1 DVD set as soon as I can figure out when it's coming out. Out of all the shows there are out there, this is the most similiar to Arrested Development. The same type of pacing and humour - very similiar feel to it. And the characters are awesome, though no cast will ever beat Arrested Development's.

All are the same style of the single-camera, no laugh track stuff. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic shows.

One more bit for Arrested Development...I have to say again how good it is. It is one of the best comedies ever. If you give it another season or two, it'll easily beat out Cheers (which really only has longevity and sentimentially working for it). If you give it another couple of seasons at the same quality, it will definately make a run at Seinfeld for the greatest comedy of all time. It's first two seasons are already better than Seinfeld's in terms of quality and having everything clicking along at the same time. Seinfeld didn't really truly hit it's stride until a couple of seasons in.

Which bothers me so much when I wonder why this show isn't as popular as it should be. I blame society turning kids these days into total fucking retards. Shows like goddamn Friends ruining a generation of minds with their stupid plots, retarded jokes, and forced laugh tracks. The same reason why bands like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte gather any attention at all. The same reason why "I'm Rick James bitch!" was so popular even though there were a ton of better lines throughout the season, or even in the exact same very skit. I haven't sent up a SINGLE artifact. Fuck Odin, them shits are godlike sometimes.. my mages come equipped with the Phoenix Feather~ :P And I don't leave ANY dungeon until i've found every last thing in it. And yeah, Arngrim is there. The meter his PWS puts in is tops, especially since Aelia's sometimes doesn't put in a lot.

Yeah, The most imporntant lesson of my life when I was in the 3rd grade was to NEVER mess with Lime Lucas. I used to shit through a screen door after eating that stuff. My english class had to write a narrative story, well we did so; About 5830804823380 times. We would write it, then we would go through some bullshit corrections. Well, the problem is, the corrections she told us to make were totally stupid. Me and my l33t writing skills(which btw does not show online) were to good for these corrections. She gave us a list of 20 things we had to correct, and out of those 20, only about 3 were things i could actually do. Just because of the fact that when i first wrote it, it was nearly perfect. My english class had to write a narrative story, well we did so; About 5830804823380 times. We would write it, then we would go through some bullshit corrections. Well, the problem is, the corrections she told us to make were totally stupid. Me and my l33t writing skills(which btw does not show online) were to good for these corrections. She gave us a list of 20 things we had to correct, and out of those 20, only about 3 were things i could actually do. Just because of the fact that when i first wrote it, it was nearly perfect. I had a teacher like that last year in 7th grade. That bitch would tell the class to have the stupidest specifications on a paper, and then change the shit at teh last minute then say that she had always told these new specifications. Then the other pussies in the class would dickride that she-male and blindly follow whatever new specifications that she said. I hated her, and she hated me. I gave that class about 2% of my total effort, and with my 1337 writing skills pulled a B and went to honors English teh next year.
