"Dick" has that extra little kick to it - that extra little umph. Plus it's a simplier word so it comes out faster and sharper (Lol!).

Plus, used in combos "dick" is generally always the preferable word of choice.

Take for example...

"You dickless piece of trash."

Versus...

"You penisless piece of trash."

Doesn't roll off your tongue quite as smoothly (Lol!) and it's not as efficient.

Donnie Yen has never looked so good in action, and Yu Rong Guang is goddamned astonishing to watch (I boggled to see him writing two different things at the same time with both hands). Chronologically, this takes place before the 'Once Upon A Time In China' series and features a young Huang Fei Hong (Donnie Yen plays the boy's father). Really good fights and plenty of funny moments.

Enough of replies now.

My 70-year-old dad went in for surgery today around noon or so. His prostate is roughly ten times normal size and it's long past the time it started interfering with his ability to pee, though there's nothing malignant about the growth. Reducing the prostate size through surgery is a routine thing: there's a snip to gain entry, the extra tissue is removed, sew it up again, voila. It's done in an hour and a half or so. Perfectly routine. Right?

Ha.

Dad started bleeding profusely during the surgery and, well, didn't stop. It prolonged the operation by almost three hours.

When Mom and I went in to see him, he had two huge saline bags doing a rapid drip at the same time, a whole bag of morphine and something else which looked like it might be either a clotting agent or something for nutrition. He had a respirator tube down his throat and dried blood in both nostrils. Beneath the blankets he was ice-cold, and no wonder -- by both ankles he had catheter-type collection bags, and I shit you not when I say I could sit there and just watch his red life drain away into those bags. I doubt it's all blood since it's not halfway dark enough or opaque enough to be straight blood, but there's definitely enough blood in it to make the drainage cherry tomato red. One of those bags just kept filling and filling so fast, and all I could do was look on in shellshocked horror. He kept drifting in and out of drugged sleep; when he came awake he'd do it with a jolt, trembling so hard the whole bed shook, and looked around in panic for someone he knew. He always calmed and settled back down when he saw me or Mom. My roommate, who does tech support at the hospital, came by to collect me so we could get something to eat; Dad nodded understanding when I told him why I had to go, and when I kissed the top of his head through my bacteria mask, he started to cry.

He's going to be kept under close observation in ICU tonight, and for who knows how long afterwards. Mom intends to stay with him the whole time. I intend to see to it she eats and sleeps once in a while, so I'm going to visit again tomorrow before work.

This was hard enough to handle the first time he was hospitalized eighteen years ago. I'm not sure if it's worse now.

I've had a form of epilepsy now for a few years, so I already know my brain is out of wack, but I read up on the symptoms of ADD and a lot of them fit. I have a tendency to trail off when concentrating on something, I'm impulsive and tend to do things on the fly, I have constant negative self-evaluations, I'm frequently late, I procrastinate a lot, I get reclusive and depressed, I'm pissed and distraught when I don't get my way... and I'm creative as all get out, with whacked out ideas.

If it ends up that I do have ADD, I'm not going to pursue any medication at all. I don't want it to suppress how I think, but I do want to take any other alternative treatment I could to get my mind a little more focused. To tell you the truth, I'd be relieved if I found out I had it. It would explain so much, and I'd have one more piece of my identity given back to me. Plus, I can say that I'm like Osaka.

And regarding the AV....It's the colors that i like the most (The BRight Green, the Purple, The splotches of Red on the borders......) . It makes the picture stand out against the blue backround. I love looking at a wide assortment of colors that stand out. Its probably the reason I love really colorful games like, Jet Set Radio, Rez, Lumines, MVC2, etc.....

It seems as though most things go better with music.

From video games to court hearings, it just makes sense to have some sort of music in the background. Usually, it is in the obvious things more times than the unimagined. They never play it during tests or exams, yet when kids are enjoying themselves at daycare, you have your Blue's Clues soundtrack cued for that ambience.

Theme songs kick ass on a whole. Especially it they get the mood/move right. What if they had theme songs played at board meetings, schools and other places?

I saw my dad yesterday. He's better. They've taken the respiratory tube out, the drainage bags aren't filling half as fast anymore (though he still had the saline bags and morphine going), and he was much warmer to the touch. He's talking and conscious, if still very pale and frail. I'm very, very glad they caught the hemorrhaging in time so his brain didn't starve -- but I'm going to fucking kill someone if this is the result of a surgical fuckup. :mad:

I'm heading off in a while to see how he's doing and to make sure Mom eats. When I get home, my neglect of the PS2 will end: Shadow of the Colossus awaits me. I fucking deserve some decent game time after all this.

Even Capcom is said to look away or grow silent everytime it is mentioned, according to Erik Ko of UDON, whose team worked alongside some of the forefathers of fighting in the street on screen to create the better comic book. If the originators of the series have trouble sleeping because of a reincarnation, then that is proof alone that it is not something to love. Again, to each his own whether the idea was bad or not. Each person is different as well as each reaction to that particular preference.

Did he see The Animated Movie? That is well made quality work and is a must see for any fan or player of the SF series. I found it to be rewarding after my cousin took me to see the live action movie. The animation was near perfect canon and quite an enjoyable treat. I must again search for the 10th Anniversary Collection of it soon...for the future's sake...

I plan on changing it a bit, taking out a couple symbols and putting in my own that represent my idea of my family and future descendants. In the end I want it to represent all of my family, its in a way accepting that I have white ancestors (My grandpappy was 1/4th white, that makes me at least 1/16th pale face. Anything farther can't be uncovered sadly) and also celebrating my African American roots. But when I actually think about it, my black ancestors didn't choose to be parent children by their masters. They were raped. So am I spitting on those ancestors who were violated by 'the white man' by adopting an aspect of European culture? Thinking about scrapping the entire thing. Why the fuck am i so sleepy all the time? Goddamn, i just started noticing, but i'm always sleepy, in a napping type of way. And one of the problems is, i can't usually sleep when i have to actually sleep. I just slept for like 3 hours, and it's like everyday. It's really starting to piss me off, what a waste of time! Strange stuff happened when I was getting a refilling: They were playing some of my favorite songs. I hear Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison when I sat down and Rock Your Body when I was about to get up after the pain game.

I shoot about 6.5 hours a day and 30 minutes to nap1. I also hibernate during the holidays. It helps well enough. Depends on the person. If I get crunked at 3am and wake up at 8am, I would still feel rise and shiney, yet if I get crunked at 12am and wake up at 8am, Bear starts to verbally maul anything and everything, including the Dreamcast...
