Are you a single guy? If not, then sorry and don't read my post.

Anything where the boyfriend is at --> fuck that... :bluu: make up an excuse on why you can't go. What were you thinking? Unless there were other girls that were going to be there... and they're single and hot. Otherwise, no. Whenever I talk to girls, within the first 20 minutes if they mention "My boyfriend... " anything, I'm so out of there. I can't think of anything more possibly annoying in the entire world then trying to have a conversation with a girl who talks about her boyfriend all the time. Even if she talks about "guy friends", she's walking on a thin line with me already and it's an inappropriate topic to talk about with any guy since it makes them feel so uncomfortable. Girls usually say those sort of things to get rid of a guy. I'd rather have a girl talk on her cell phone instead of with me on a date (which is also rude), than to listen to her unsolicited talk about other guys I hate that behavior so much.

I've met some girls that actually seem to be oblivous to that fact though, and yap their mouths on and on about "my boyfriend this..." or "my boyfriend that...". The girls that bring up sex topics when they have no intention of ever having sex with the guy either. She's uncomfortable herself unless men are always paying attention to her so she talks about topics like that or talks about other guys a lot because she's misinformed and thinks it's going to make me want her out of jealously or something. Um... no. Fuck that and fuck you too. It's ok if you're a little naive, but if you're over 21 (or whenever you're mentally mature) and going to play mindgames with a guy, at least do it right (so you still keep me a little oblivious and I don't get annoyed at you) and not with malicious intent, arrogance, and self-ego feeding.

Actually going with the girl to a place where her boyfriend is, as opposed to just listening to her talk about him... I can't possibly imagine ever letting myself into a situation that deep with a girl. She's trying to be polite, but she's actually being rude by setting you up for an awkward situation like that. Either that or she was trying to hook you up with one of her friends. :rofl: If the latter is the case, then you suck and it's your own fault for being awkward. The post you wrote sounds like a serious case of "friend" zone though, and I'm sorry to read that. If you wanted anybody else's opinion/comment when you blogged that on this thread, then "fuck that... don't call her again" is all I have to say.

Why does school cafeteria food tend to suck so much? It seems like that's the case everywhere from my generation on down. Do they just hire incompetent cafeteria staff? Is the food horrible on purpose? What's the deal ...what's up there? Even in college....the cafeteria food STILL sucks. There were many nights where I decided it would be just better to get something from the snack machine for "dinner"....or just go to sleep hungry. Food has to be pretty damn bad for a starving college student to rather go hungry. man...I ordered a LOT of pizzas in my 4 years at tsu....fortunately there was a nice fish place that popped up during my junior year, so at least I had some variety in what I could order by that point.

To the first: :arazz: What did you expect? This female SRKer is one of the few with marriage experience -- I was married for five years before I divorced him for abuse -- and damn straight I'm going to protest ignorant-ass commentary like that. Seriously, you want someone just to clean up after you, that's what maid services are for.

To the second: That's the responsibility you take on when you live alone. If there's too much to deal with waiting for you at home, then some rethinking of habits is in order. Better to do stuff on the spot as it needs doing before it becomes a problem, eg. after you're done with your dishes, rinse them and put them directly into the dishwasher (and just run the wash cycles when it's full), or wash them right away so they're clean and done instead of a dirty pile. Just a little bit at a time is all it takes. It's not hard.

I do something different. Since I live by myself I usually dont make that much of a mess throughout the weekdays when I'm working. I just set aside one hour Saturday Morning to clean up everything that is disorganized or dirty. For the most part its just clothes lying on the floor.

The Only thing I hate cleaning is my bathroom It's never clean enough for me.

Oh yeah I also hate dusting.

Dishes --one thing I always take care of immediately. I don't care about things like making the bed, or clothes on the floor...but I can't tolerate "food garbage", because I know that particular type of garbage develops problems with roaches and other living things suddenly showing up.

A strange thing---my old college roommate/friend was the opposite. He was a neatfreak about things like the bed being in order, the clothes hanging up or in a drawer, stuff being picked up off the floor....yet he didn't seem to care about food garbage. I always found this quite odd...wouldn't it be more important to wash that plate and fork rather than pick up a sock that's on the floor? Dude would leave a plate with a slice of pizza just out on the table for hours....meanwhile, everything else was all neat and clean. Does not compute....file not found error.sys133r•ª.

Back to some good ol' chauvinism...just what is wrong with wanting a woman that is willing do keep the living area in order? I don't think it was ever implied that this particular role is her only value in the relationship. Besides, wouldn't it make sense if whoever(*man or woman) is at home deals more with keeping the living area in order? The person that is at work all day is NOT going to want to immediately start cleaning the kitchen when he or she gets home.

*I found my ol' Cultrula Anthropology book the other day...and started reading a little section on Amish people. Wow...talk about such a FUN life, eh? I wonder how many Amish youth eventually get pissed off when they finally see what the outside world is like one day? Imagine you're brought up like it's still the 18th century, and one day you find out what the rest of the entire world(not just america) is like. I would be PISSED. I think most would be at least a little angry, no matter how seriously hardcore-Amish they were raised to be. It's pitiful...they don't even go beyond the 8th grade, because the community as a whole sees anything beyond that level of education as unnecessary. What kind of foolish reasoning is this? Why stop the intellectual progression of your kids?

I remember from that Amish reality show from last year...they don't even know of art, apparently. The amish kids on the show were amazed when the group went to an art exhibit. Art is another thing deemed "unnecessary" by the Amish community.

I was looking at the DS but the touchscreen intimidates me for some reason. Plus, I see them all that are on display at local stores and the screen is straight up just worn the fuck out. I would be afraid that would happen to mine.The demo screens are ruined because idiotic little kids are abusing them. If you handle yours nicely, it'll be okay. I bought a DS second week, and my screen still looks brand new. It's been through Kirby's Canvas Curse, Meteos, Yoshi TnG, the mini-games on SM64DS, and most of DoS, so it's not like I haven't been using it, either.

I watched the movie 'A Walk To Remember' today (for the second time). It's official: it's the only movie which has ALMOST drived me to tears. Goddamn...hard to believe considering it stars Mandy Moore. But the story is pretty powerful. Kinda makes you wonder...how you try to act like a 'thug' in real life, online, or in whatever aspect, yet movies like these still move those inner fibers of yours. :sad:

I'm a sentimental fuck. Goddamn me.

Oh yeah, and my traits should be:

- Pretty clean (fix my bed as early as I wake up, I do not tolerate the sight of dust).
- Can cook some basic meals.
- Washing dishes every day.

Nah, I am careful about mine without a screen protector and it's scratchless, I will get a screen protector soon though.

Nintendo says that companies will have the option of charging for games monthly, but Mario Kart is definitely free. All you need is a wireless router (you know like for internet) cus the DS is built in with wifi. So mario kart will just cost you a DS (125) and whatever mario kart is if you have a wireless router at home, and some McDonald's will have free access too.

How late you staying up tonight? I will be down for mystical ninja in like...2.5 hours from now.

Did my post sound like I was writing a post to myself in the third person? That was unintentional (I didn't quote the guy I was replying to), but cool, I'll take it anyway and thanks for the support. It makes it look like I'm clever and was writing creatively when I wasn't. :tup:

I do enjoy complaining though (and plus I'm not about to pay my money to some jackass therapist to listen), so as for my own personal experience, it wasn't some birthday party that made me so bitter. It was when I was 17 and a girl twice invited me to go out with her. Catch is that twice there was another guy with us as well. Seriously, wtf... I wish I was like I am now and just left (thinking "fuck off bitch..." in my head the whole time of course, but hopefully she gets the idea already from my actions and body language, so no need to say those words aloud), but I was lame like that back then and just went with it, stupidly awkward or not. A couple weeks later she tells me she's dating the second guy now... :bluu: :wtf: :bluu:

It's OK though, because we were kids back then and young girls usually don't know any better. The courteous thing to do would be to let the guy know he's acting like too much of a sissy and that she has no romantic interest in him (ie. he's about to get friend zoned). She can just stop taking his calls and e-mails if she feels uncomfortable to tell the guy directly. But young girls usually have this idea that it's OK to have lot of "guy friends" and that their feelings aren't going to be hurt when she starts up with the "my boyfriend..." talk one day all of a sudden. She'll say, "you're one of my closest friends" or "you're the only person I can talk to", but she never mentions the "but I don't like you like that" part that follows.

Girl's don't always say this, but "like you like a brother" or "like you as a friend" are the biggest red flags for any single guy to throw this girl's number away asap in case any young guys here might not know that btw... I know I sure as heck didn't when I was younger.

It sucks, but the way life works is that the guy always needs to learn more from experience than the girl does. I'm twenty something today, and if I see even the smallest warning sign that the girl (around my age... legal at least) still has mental maturity of 15-16 year old with lots of "guy friends", she gets the SRK ignored list treatment as far as I'm concerned. She'd have to include oral and boob rubdowns as part of her flirting to get my attention if she even thinks about trying to get me to chase. But yeah, just wish I thought like this sooner though (like when I was 16 and first really started interacting with girls). Thank God 24 is in syndication now. I missed like 2/3 of the second season, and essentially all of the other seasons...I'd just tune in and see random badass things (Bauer holding everyone hostage in a mini-mart, and then getting chased by the cops, or some fools playing a real-life FPS in some warehouse, or...nuke+plane. It'll be good to catch up.

Nishiko having been married surprised me for 2 reasons: firstly, because she appeared to be fairly young, from the pic I saw of her (though, being asian, she could be like 45...they're a hard people to tell the age of), and secondly, most people who get married too young are too stupid to not stay married. Talking about the relationship in the past tense was equally, possibly more surprising than the marriage itself.

Well, I went out last night to that friend's birthday thing at Boston Pizza. I must have been the oldest guy there in front so many desi kids (since that "friend" was brown). They all knew each other and the host of the party kept randomly asking what I was consuming. She went from good friend to annoying bitch in the matter of two hours. I did not even know why I bothered to show face after the first hour had gone, but Bear is the master gentleman, so I accepted before I thought about declining.

I felt so out of place. Luckily, I met a few people there who liked Chapple's Show. We spoke until they went back to talkin with their other friends... Then, my brotha friend came in and also hung with them and got me a bit lively, considering that I opted to using booze to entertain myself. Me, him, and two of his boys went to a local bar/club and got to dancin'. Two left feet plagued me all night, but those drunk women did not seem to put it pass them. They even tried to bubble during slow jams. I laughed my ass off *mentally* , while talking to the bottle carrier. She was very attractive and I started to converse as soon as my mouth got a hold of some Canuk beer. I might go back if she is working her little ass off.

I have not really done this in about...practically, two or three years back. Yet, this is probably by far the most alcoholic year the Bear has ever had.

I do enjoy complaining though (and plus I'm not about to pay my money to some jackass therapist to listen), so as for my own personal experience, it wasn't some birthday party that made me so bitter. It was when I was 17 and a girl twice invited me to go out with her. Catch is that twice there was another guy with us as well. Seriously, wtf... I wish I was like I am now and just left (thinking "fuck off bitch..." in my head the whole time of course, but hopefully she gets the idea already from my actions and body language, so no need to say those words aloud), but I was lame like that back then and just went with it, stupidly awkward or not.

Yeah, k, I also detest that also and that's ok that you do. Especially,when the girl is flirting with him in front of you point blank and she says that she DOESN'T fancy him at all...If I am in a habitat that I know I would be able to strike up a conversation with someone else or randomly meet someone I am acquinted(such as college), I'd spend some time with that new/known person more and look distracted while I am with the lady just to get the satisfaction(which is pretty Antarctic fusion to me, below the belt and way below temp. KOLD).

I know an old high school acquintence who did that to me recently while hiding under the excuse of us "never hanging out". She likes to use the "friend" concept alot whenever she wants to bitch about our relationship, and clearly, becomes a hypocrite. I can call her out on alot of things, but as the adult, I choose not to because I know if I bothered, her pride would just kick in on a full notch. So, I just limit my time with her.

Yet, you are referring to being led on(still learning the terms americans/canandians use. Is this the right term?), so maybe this
advice could be ignored or argued on if this does not apply..

The whole friend concept IMHO is bullshit/inneffective or short lived when two different set of rules and descriptions of the friend concept ,in general, clash. A true friendship, or any relationship, can only stand true when this problem is realized and adverted. Either both parties understand the rules of each other, compromises, or just..you know.

Nah, I am careful about mine without a screen protector and it's scratchless, I will get a screen protector soon though.

Nintendo says that companies will have the option of charging for games monthly, but Mario Kart is definitely free. All you need is a wireless router (you know like for internet) cus the DS is built in with wifi. So mario kart will just cost you a DS (125) and whatever mario kart is if you have a wireless router at home, and some McDonald's will have free access too.

but last night, one of the coolest things ever happened.. my friend Lawrence drew a picture of me. We were just talking about like, nothing. And I was lookin at him and I was like "what are you drawing?" and he said nothing.

Two minutes later I look at the paper again and he's putting finishing touches on my hair.. he drew me while looking at me. This picture makes me look very scenester though.

But i'm totally nervous. I can't say about what, but it's fucking huge.

I'm glad to hear it. My mom had surgery to remove cancer from her ovaries, and my dad had angioplasty (sp?) to unclog arteries in his heart which were suddenly found to be "incredibly life threatening" so I know how it goes. Your parents are your heroes, and it's hard to see them up in traction.

-I have a teeny issue. I've been thinking about getting a modified coat of arms tattoo(edit=I somehow forgot the word tattoo) of my family (Brown). I plan on changing it a bit, taking out a couple symbols and putting in my own that represent my idea of my family and future descendants. In the end I want it to represent all of my family, its in a way accepting that I have white ancestors (My grandpappy was 1/4th white, that makes me at least 1/16th pale face. Anything farther can't be uncovered sadly) and also celebrating my African American roots. But when I actually think about it, my black ancestors didn't choose to be parent children by their masters. They were raped. So am I spitting on those ancestors who were violated by 'the white man' by adopting an aspect of European culture? Thinking about scrapping the entire thing. It's funny, I hang out with these guys who are always at the arcade and we're always hanging out, and I learned so much about the tournament lifestyle. Heard a lot too. It's cool, I have a newfound respect for money matches and the random cavorting at CF.. it's what keeps people playing Marvel apperantly. At least, that's what i've realized.

From what i've been told, nothing compares to playing in a tournament setting and nothing can prepare you seriously for it. You have to ignore everyone around you, fuck the person standing on the 2P side, he's in the way of you hitting #1. You can't recreate that in casual play.

It sounds so fucking exciting. Eeee. Happy.

NG Evangelion is the most controversial anime topic ever, apparently. No matter what message board you're on...bring that show up..just mention it in passing...*BOOM* the thread blows up into at least 6 pages of debate. Nobody seems to be middleground on the show either...you're either on the Worst/most overrated anime EVER. side like Simpsons' Comic Book Guy...or...you're on the side that believes it is like the God of all anime shows. I've never seen it, and it's unlikely I'll get into it now...since Cartoon Network just casually slipped this show in without any commercials if I recall. To the first: I'm 31. It's in my public profile. To the second: I got married shortly before my 23rd birthday and was married for five years (six if you count the year the divorce took to go through). I've been divorced a little over three years now and am trying to make up for all the time I wasted.

Parents can be so fucking stupid sometimes. When my mom and I left the hospital last night, she decided to thank me for being such a wonderful support for Dad. I snorted and told her that I wasn't handling his hospitalization well. She asked why, and I replied that I didn't handle it well the last time he was in the hospital for lupus eighteen years ago, but everyone was too busy asking me how Dad was doing that nobody ever thought to ask me how I was doing -- y'know, Mom, just like now? Let's just say the conversation degenerated into her telling me I wasn't family because I don't volunteer my feelings unsolicited like a fucking moron, how she thinks I isolated myself from others just to be contrary -- oh, and I get such a kick out of it, of course; I couldn't possibly have done it out of self-preservation, why no, that'd be foolish and utterly incomprehensible -- and how she thinks my 'Wicca friends' in the past and my 'computer friends' in the present are the reason I don't talk to family members now. Why, it's completely stupid to even consider the hackneyed notion that I might have more in common with my friends than with any of my relatives -- no, I'm just being an asshole for wanting to talk to non-family instead.

What set me off the worst was her attempts at smugness a la 'I am a medical professional, therefore I know better than you'. This from a woman who's subscribed to various pyramid schemes in an attempt to get rich fast without working too much for it -- except she's too soft-hearted with friends and relatives to charge them anything but her own cost, so she doesn't make any money on her sales at all. Being rich is all about being able to tell other people to do your work for you, of course, uh-huh. The idea of expanding upon her own skillset is just so far out there it might as well be in the Crab Nebula.

...yeah, I isolate myself and confide in people other than relatives just to be a dick, and the thought that I might consider my friends to be family is even further out than the nebula.

Seeing your parents go through such pain is really sad. My mom had surgery on her neck a while ago and we had to help her walk down the stairs, get dressed, eat, help her off the sofa...She was on so many pain killers she was incomprehensive; we couldn't even talk to her. Your parents are supposed to be invincible :sad:

Which is why I never want to choose to fuck myself up, i.e. smoke, drink, gamble, not finish school, etc. No way am I going to be the kind of parent my kids can't count on for any reason. And I definitely don't want my kids picking up on my shitty habits, so I'll try my hardest not to have any. My goal in life is to be the most selfless person I can be :)

Immediate family I speak with or see at least once a week, sometimes more often, though not daily. Extended family (mostly Mom's relatives; Dad's brother and sister-in-law are great) I tend to avoid because the conversation is usually limited to three or four questions -- how're you, how's school, how's work, how's the love life -- and nothing else. I just don't have anything in common with them, either. There's only one uncle among the whole lot of Mom's relatives who I actually like talking to because he's not just educated and well-travelled, but is also the only one of Mom's brothers not to bow down to traditional pressure and get married just because other people wanted him to have kids. Privately, I think they were afraid he was gay, but the guy's a pastor and missionary who works with the poor in places like Libya: he's way too busy to keep a relationship. As for whether 'family first' is a common theme, I'm not sure, though I think it is; mine differs in that Mom would rather have the semblance of peace than true peace.

In my teens, I ran into a certain woman who worked at a little New Age-type shop in a mall. It was a simple place -- a couple of bookshelves, a small counter with various stones and crystals, and a two-person table where they did readings. I found some neat stuff on the shelves to read, and the lady herself was a fairly interesting person. Although it later turned out she was the sort who liked to hear her own voice with an audience paying rapt attention, she taught the sheltered kid I was that there were perspectives and options other than what my folks insisted I be limited to. For the crime of her encouraging me to think for myself, my parents disliked her and happily blamed for any breakdown in 'family communication'. It couldn't possibly have been anything they did, oh no, preposterous, they were perfect parents.

I didn't do the McWiccan wannabe goth thing, mind you -- those were my heavy metal years. :rock:

I've been thinking about your dilemma with your family crest. If you want to honor a part of your heritage that could be viewed as dubious, how about putting in something that makes the distinction between those innocent and those guilty of whatever crimes they committed?

...I have a friend who made a big deal out of killing their original personality, saying that he has no friends, yet he still considers me to be one of them, which is contradicting what was previously stated by him. I usually ignore these types of pleas since I realized that it has nothing to do with murdering anyone or thing. No matter how I improved the original, Bear was still there. There was still something from the last round. It is quite rediculus to bother it. I really am aware of that now more than ever.

Personal growth and development improvements are noted to be the overall goal of human beings. We are constantly improving ourselves and every major institution of life commands it/yearns for it (religion, peers, employment, sports, gaming, education, heck even your family). The old you/nice guy of you did not die: he is still there...just not in any form you would expect. At least you have changed to satisfy one of your best allies - yourself.

Eventually, all secrets will come out...

I go through my friends' things sometimes, and I'd imagine that if they were left alone in my house they'd go through mine. It's not that big of a deal, not to me anyway. I have very few things that I like to keep really secret from everyone, and I hide them in the craziest places, so I wouldn't be worried about anyone finding anything like herpes medication. I'd be really creative about hiding something like that or...I'd throw it away outside. I don't consider it distrust or disrespect, just a general feeling of nosiness/curiosity.

I wouldn't bring it up to him though, not unprovoked anyway.

You guys were stupid to try to invade a white power forum anyway. It's completely different than raiding a forum like Gaia, which has like three thousand 12 year-old members moderated by like...three people.

Trust me on this. I've checked out all the angles before. It's a lot more work than it should be, and there's no rewarding LOL moments. The whole thing's just kind of sad, really. Anything associated with that forum is depressing.

For one, you can't just register whenever you feel like. So no SA.M version 9.0's anymore. The mods have to approve your membership, and so if you get banned once, then you're probably not coming back. That takes time, and anything that takes too much time isn't fun.

Plus, you only get one shot at it. And those aren't exactly liberal forums either, with rules and regulations you can bend. They just ban you if they feel like it. Why aren't there any posters on that board with even a slightly differing opinion? Because all those niggas get banned!

So you have to be subtle. And agree with the whole white power thing all the time.

Also, the mod:member ratio isn't like 1:3000000 like Gaia. The mods are tight, and they delete threads that they don't like fairly quickly, so you have to take screenshots all the time.

And the most you get out of it is some weirdass scientology-like insanity from people that aren't really that funny. The reward you get out of it is not worth the time and effort you put into it.

I don't want these silly hicks getting back at us too. Gaia is one thing, where the members there have the attention span and IQ's of fruit flies, but THE WEEZARD was probably right to shut that down.

You might as well just try screwing with Gaia again. Much more reward, much less effort.

ah, this episode of Robot Chicken just reminded me...when skateboarders screw up it's always the funniest thing ever. There was a music video called "Skrape" back in the 90s...it had nothing but skateboarding "wipeouts". This was easily the most hilarious music video of all time....I couldn't even watch it all at once; I'd have to pause that to just recover from laughing so hard at just the first couple of scenes.

...and now to bring race into it..in the many years I've seen skaters on tv or in person.....I've only ever seen TWO that were black.

Of course I'd never get into the whole skater thing. Anything that puts my nuts at THAT much of a risk can't possibly be good, imo. I liked Reloaded but I thought Revolutions was a dud that cheapened everything Reloaded set up. Plus Rel was too drawn-out and poorly edited.

I will say that Reloaded was the best-looking movie I've seen in years. Great production values-- costumes, sets, cinematophy (well, the cg 'virtual actors' looked pretty bad).. the soundtrack was awesome too.. I'm wondering when/if we'll see another movie that's as half as stylish as Reloaded..

Funny you should mention that. I spent the weekend patching the holes I made. The first hole I made was interesting. While al my punches went through the wallboard, the first punch actually cracked the cement block wall beyond the wallboard in 3 places. I'm never doing this again. It didn't hurt in the least, but it's a pain in the ass repairing wallboard. Measure, cut, outline, cut, screw in backing, fit, fit :bluu:, fi- :mad: goddammit *pound-pound-pound* fit, putty, sandpaper, paint.

I'm from the camp that believes Eva to be brilliant. I think people hate it because they misunderstand it - it is a very profound tragedy. It isn't supposed to be another giant robot show, or "frail misunderstood kid saves the world." People hate the main character because he's weak, but they don't take into account that he has no reason to become strong. It's a wonderful tragedy.

Eva also does an amazing job of capturing all the little nuances of what it's like to live in Japan. Well, giant robot battles aside, there have been countless moments when I've stopped to myself and thought "Huh, this reminds me of that scene in Eva." It's subtlie, but just excellently done.

And I think you of all people would appreciate how Eva ends. :bgrin:

I liked Reloaded, it's only problem was that it was a set-up movie for the third one, which blew chunks. I went to just go watch one scene in particular in Reloaded but ended up watching the whole thing. ^I think though you can safely miss the first two eps and still get into it. They're still setting up plot and story, things haven't really gotten juicy yet.

I dunno if Shinji is emo...he's just really, really weak...probably one of the weakest characters I've ever seen in any entertainment medium. Almost anyone will get annoyed at his handicapping weakness in crucial moments. I think anime fans expect his hair to go blonde, pick up his moon scepter, and save the day!! They get frustrated when he doesn't. But he's one of the realest characters I think ever created.

And I started jerkin the yerkin at...somewhere around 13. I remember watching Shannon Tweed in Night Eyes III, and there was one scene with raspberries...next thing I knew, I needed to clean up. My very first jack was the legendary No Hand Jack™...if only I could find a way to do that again...

Jack Bauer is already Beyond Broken. For God sakes he Parried a Car and Roll Canceled bullets this past season. Adding another special move to his already varied and impressive list is just over kill. He only really needs one move that pretty much eliminates 98.7% of all living and breathing things. And that is the Bauer Glower.

I really cant remember all of his special moves at the moment. I'm sure AZ, Carpet Lint, or Bowling Pin may have it saved somewhere.

Edit - Nevermind, I just re-read your post. You were talking about MacBauer, not just Jack. I'm not sure if they made an official move list for him yet. It would be interesting though. :rofl:

ah yes....Night Eyes 3 is a classic, imo. I didn't even see that until about 2 years ago or so. The hottest scene for me there was when Shannon's character almost got raped, and you see her tits just kinda "spill" out of her nightgown as she's struggling....it's also an incredible visual later on when they show her get naked in front of a fireplace...and there's the full frontal nude view of Shannon the Legend. Yes, I would also like to personally thank Ms. Tweed....preferrably with my penis.

*I just "acquired" another Xbox demo, and IGPX is on there...apparently a whole episode?! Anyway, yep...he's here again, folks. The guy who is in 99% of all anime english dubs...STEVE BLUM! Anytime there's another new anime brought over, I'm already thinking k...so where does Steve Blum fit into the picture? I know he'll be in there somewhere. It was good that mom's visit got me to clean this place up. I'm actually proud of the way my apartment looks right now.

Skirt season is over for real now. I don't think it even got above 50 today, and it was only 38 degrees this morning! On the upside, that means it's time for the sweaters of course, and I look TOO damn good in those. No, I will not be humble at all about this.

As an adult and ex-minimum wager, who has seen almost every small hustle job, I have come to a beneficial conclusion:

Employees that take draws or drink on the job are more likely become better customer service representitves in contrast to those who fake a smile infront of a mirror which shows them for who they are not: a faceless prink who decides to ruin a lovely evening. Picture doing a QTE event in any Shenmue and realizing that distraction that numbed you at the last second was some harassment offer to sell your parents/you a binding contract with a seriously fruadulant pitch.

If there was a slight tipsy/underblaze at the line as a telemarketer, you would know and be well aware that he/she was pleasant enough to get ready to make that annoying call a pretty damn good one.

The rest of the casual acquaintances or friends I may have had, I sure don't have now. I have one friend in Chicago I met a couple months ago who's turned out to be my dawg, but other than him I have no friends I see regularly, my best friend moved to California.

Oh, and I have one person in WA that is a good buddy of mine but we didn't meet in school.

So I have three friends TOTAL and they're spread across the country, it sucks sometimes.

Thanks for the replies on the subject of friends, my best friend is living in UC Davis. This guy's a really good friend, I couldn't ask for better one. We're going on different paths, and it's likely I'll never see him in a long time, unless I transfer there which is possible.

Inverse, one of the guys from my chess team in highschool (graduated two years ago) made plans with me to meet at a Thai restaurant we both really liked, didn't show up at all. I had a friend who thought it was cute and funny to treat me like crap, especially when we were around other people.

One on one, we had long conversations, hung out constantly, had a great time, could talk to each other about anything really. In a group, he would always purposely try to make me look stupid in front of our friends, which he freely admitted to when I called him on it.

I'd call him, he wouldn't answer, wouldn't call me back. Sent him text messages, he didn't answer them. Invited him to hang out, whether alone or with my boyfriend (they're pretty much best friends), he'd decline. IM him, he wouldn't answer.

I never once let the shit slide. Anytime he pulled any crap like that on me, I'd ask him "Why do you have to act like such a jackass to me?" He'd admit he was wrong, apologize, and promise to be nicer in the future. This happened several times in a row, and finally, not too long ago, I told him that I wanted nothing to do with him, and we haven't spoken since. But he did send me this IM a few days ago:
Him: While I know we aren't friends anymore, I would just like to apologize for being a jack ass.

Anyway, he is deep down a good person, he's smart, he's funny, he can be really nice and helpful...but if he thinks it's ok to treat me like crap for absolutely no reason, to freely admit to it, and never change it...then fuck him. What the hell do I need that kind of shit for?

It's been extremely hard for me to cut people out of my life...because I've almost never had any real friends ever, just aquaintences, "convenience friends." I've only had maybe...four people total in my life outside of family that I've ever really trusted, confided in, and knew would always be there for me. So to just throw one of them away was and is still hard...since people like him are so rare in my life. Which is why I always forgave him and gave him the benefit of the doubt whenever he acted that way. Because I needed him...not necessarily him, but someone like him in my life. And for the record, he lives just a couple miles away from me.

Friends really fucking suck sometimes. It's why I keep to myself so much. Anyway...I finished my work training yesterday, and will finally make my own money today. But no more free food :((

Not as much now, but I occassionally run into them at college or anywhere. My past is pitch dark and not important to anyone, so the chances of me actually hollering at them are not that high. I switched highschools after the freshman year for reasons I could not control, so I have hardly been able to hear about their many adventures prior to my absense. The occassional buzz of woe seems to poison the the updated information I receive. Yet, in the school I have gone to after the fact, people say "I know you" whenever paths cross. I am in talks to getting hook ups and "clubbin bouncin'" with a few of them, so I know it would last as long as I allow it.

I only do this because I do not "fit in" with any crowd I posess. I am nomadiac, never in positions to stay in one place and my luck that ruins relationships has a high success rate in my present town..

When I was in my old neighbourhood, I carried a nickname/streetname I had for 14+ years and anyone who saw me would call me that. It still haunts me today, yet I am unsure of how it has socially benefited me over the years. Almost everyone I meet knows it, yet what good does it do to have such a name when you have no posse to chill with?

That statement means 2,300 and should be pronounced; two thousand three hundred.

I heard these notions before but they always annoy me. The schools I went to never taught me to pronounce numbers this way. Where the hell did this crap come from? I live in Texas, is it a southern thing?

But, at least you have a GF. Sucks being me, who is now currently on his lonesome WITHOUT a girl. :sad: But yeah, not having a girl is actually my choice, since I'm focused on other aspects of life for now.

My current moving plans are actually aiming either to Houston or Atlanta. I'm sorta leaning myself towards Houston a bit, and I'm trying to find an apartment via that locator thingy. I EXPECT to be moving out within the next month or so, anytime before December. I also think I'm doing it on a good point in my life: no job, friends scattered, no girl, nothing to lose, really. And I don't think I'll get deported from MY OWN COUNTRY, unlike many other friends who try to make 'The Jump' only to get turned back (a friend of mine got banned from the States for 5 fuckin' years because she worked in Boston as a babysitter for 2 years, not knowing that Migration had her entry records on file, and caught her scheme).

On a side note, I'm way fuckin' pissed that my mom is still acting like I was some 7-year old child, because SHE TOOK AWAY MY PS 2 POWER CORD! How gay can that be?! :mad: And I never really noticed until she left last Sunday from her usual weekly visit, and after watching the World Series game on Sunday. I was like, 'Now time to play some SFA 3', and then suddenly :wtf: Where is the fuckin' power cord? Then my dumbass older brother comes out and says, "Oh, my mom took it!". And I was like, :mad: "BITCH, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?", and he was like "Oh, I tried to stop her and yadda yadda yadda" (overall being a retarded imbecile). Now I'm pissed at BOTH fuckers.

I could probably sue her since it was MY PS 2 bought with MY money, but meh, I need her support to move out, so I'll let that shit fly for the time being.... :bluu:

Meh, slept right through my alarm this morning so I didn't make it to my 8 am class. I woke up a bit after 9 am, and while I still could have gone and caught the last hour of class if I'd hurried, it was a little too late after 9 am that I decided it wasn't worth hurrying for. I knew I wasn't missing a hell of a lot anyway, and I probably needed the sleep more. Finally woke up about half an hour or so ago. Twelve-hour sleep = yeah, I needed it.

The Devil May Cry 3 manga is goodness. The artist rendered Dante and Vergil perfectly. My only real nitpicks were a typo I caught and that at one point Vergil sounded too much like Dante (ie. out of character). All in all, good shit. Pick it up, people. (Psst: there's even a rape scene for you skeevy bitches.)

My dad might get to go home this week. He was cleared yesterday for any air-borne infections he might have caught in ICU, so now I can actually give him a peck on the cheek without wearing a bacteria mask. He's walking a little bit now even though it hurts to move too much, but he doesn't want to sit on his ass and do nothing.

I've had 'Shadow of the Colossus' for almost a week now and it's still sitting untouched where I left it; it isn't even out of its plastic wrap yet. I know I've been far too distracted with all this hospital shit to even think about playing it -- this from the person who could always make time for some game, no matter how stressed -- so I think I'm going to take it back. At this rate, I'm not going to play it for a while, and right now I guess I could use the money more, anyway. There'll be other copies. I think I'll do that on my way to see Dad today; my store's in the mall right across the street from his hospital.

I received word that my new Pentium M7 laptop is at the post office, so I have to wait until tommorow pick her up if my ride is availiable. It is either that, or I could taxi it over. Whichever way is good. Best news Bear has got in quite a while.

I had a bad time with my teacher because she picks on me and the rest of the students think I screw around in class because she does this. Sadly, there are no stairs present and I do not randomly attack women who pose no threat. Maybe I should stop myself from accessing other sites while in a lecture. This semester must suck markwise, but I am sure things will pick up once the Potential-Game(Fatal Fury junkie at heart) kicks in.

The team projects will start and I have a bit of doubts since the other members are such good pals and I am the outcast member. I despise the way they huddle amongst themselves already. I assume it comes with the territory, and as the best designer out of the three, I own anyway. Still, this will take time to get used to and alot is riding on this round.

As I stated a few times, these troubles are tiny scracthes compared to what others face. I have a home to go to while some do not. I have a post-grad. course while some cannot afford it. heh, I hate that I've missed out on Billy and Mandy cartoons all this time...I've been watching a couple of episodes, and it's actually a good cartoon! I'm still surprised they apparently referenced a Howard Stern joke on the show!(Billy was making prank calls...and said Who's Billy? This is Kelly Clarkson" (*they had High Pitch Eric doing that bit for quite awhile) The show is actually funny....I saw another episode where Mandy smiled, and this resulted in the very fabric of space/time and the universe UNRAVELING. Hah...that's great...the end of the world because she smiled. I think Death even said "We've gone against the natural order of things!" I hadn't watched before, as "Cartoon Cartoons" have a bad rep with me.(Ed Edd and Eddy should be good, but it sucks, and the other cartoons just don't interest me at all. Powerpuff Girls is good sometimes, and that's about it. I Am Weasel was gold, but that's "old" CN now.)

Currently, I am listening to one of the greatest movie scores of all time; Addams Family Values, from Marc Shaiman. The music for Gomez and Morticia's big Tango dance scene is spectacular....I'm putting the whole album on the iPod, as the disc is scratched up...I'm surprised it still plays. This whole album is too good...actually, of all the CDs I've bought, there is only one other album where I've enjoyed every track, and that is the Prince of Egypt soundtrack...ehhh actually scratch that...I think there was a weak Boyz II Men song on there that caused the album to fall just shy of perfect.

Speaking of the soundtracks...I also recently added quite a few tracks from "Bugsy" film score from the genius that is Ennio Morricone....he seems to be known for everything BUT the Bugsy score though...eh, fuck everyone else though, I have pretty much the greatest musical taste in the history of mankind.

After all the talk about it, I had to go out and do the unthinkable - I rented Street Fighter - The Movie.

I didn't know if this was going to be as simple and just going to the video store - would Japanese video stores really have it? It could hardly be called a blockbuster, as it was a horrible, horrible American bastardization of a Japanese product. Amazingly enough, I found it - on the VERY bottom shelf of the "Jean Claude Van Damme" section, and partially obsecured by another shelf. ...It's official, even the Japanese recognize this movie's tremendous suckosity levels.

I found something I wasn't expecting though - a version dubbed in Japanese! And suddenly I was faced with a dilemma - do I rent the good ol familiar English version, or subject myself to the pain in a whole 'nother language? I eventually decided to just go with the English version - after all, half of the comedy that is Street Fighter comes from hearing Van Damme trying so hard and failing so hard to spit out American lines.

But I did promise to myself to come back one day and rent the Japanese version.

Anyway, Carpet Lint was right - this movie is genious if only for finding new and innovative ways to suck hard. Either way, you laugh - and you're not sure whether you're laughing at how pathetic it is, or remembering how disappointing this was ten years ago, or if it's your last defense before you completely lose your sanity. ...It's best not to question it. This movie's been beaten to death, so I'm not gonna go into it all, but there were some points I wanted to touch on...

-- Bison's plans to turn Charlie into Blanka - they're going to create a killing machine by showing a soldier images of violence? Maybe that shit was credible back in 94, but here in the 05 Charlie would've just asked for a bucket of popcorn.

-- If Bison is printing his own money, why is he holding hostages for ransom?

-- The "chef" that tried to assassinate Guile...he literally jumps on the table from the opposite end and goes running at Guile, knife in hand and screaming. This is like the worst assassination attempt ever. In a real movie, he would have waited until he was behind Guile, and then tried to knife him in the back. But then again, given how many times Guile got owned by 2 MPH Psycho Crushers, I guess it wasn't that bad of an idea.

-- Ryu and Ken are hailed as heros by Bison and Sagat for warning them of Chun-Li's attack. But they didn't really do anything, that scene was like -

Ryu: Um, there are enemy spies everywhere!
Bison: Where?
*Chun-Li's transmission starts*
Ryu: Um...there.

-- That attack had to be one of the stupidest things in movie history. First, they showed themselves on screen revealing exactly who they were. Then, they SLOW-ROLLED a truck full of explosions into the camp. And showed them the WHOLE THING. With that much warning time, AND the speed of the truck, even a handicapped person could have hobbled out of there and grabbed some coffee at the Shadaloo Starbucks before the explosions went off. And then apparently, Chun-Li and gang stuck around long enough to be captured. Aye. Again, in a real movie, they would have rigged the explosions all around camp, then detonated them from a safe distance away.

-- After Guile's faked death, why the hell was he just laying in the morgue? Taking a nap? And why was he just laying there with the tracking devices all set-up? It's like he was just waiting for Chun-Li to come and find him.

-- At the end of the movie, when everyone thinks Guile was caught in Bison's base explosions, everyone was sad...WTF?! 75% of these people didn't give a shit about him like 20 minutes before. Most of them don't even know him.

-- How did Dhalsim lose his hair anyway? It's like he was down there with all the fighting going on and shit, and then he was like "Oh boy, I think it's time for a haircut!"

-- Bison owned this movie so hard. Aside from the infamous Chun-Li ownage, my new favorite is when he turns to Sagat, covers one eye with his hand, and was all "Oh yeah, *I* forgot - YOU CAN'T SEE!" oh, it's been years. I haven't even tried in that aspect of life for a long time now...the pursuit of "love" did nothing but bring me pain and disappointment for such a long time, and eventually I just stopped caring as much.(yep, despite the way I speak about women here, I'll take romance and all that "loveydovey stuff" over a series of 1-night stands anyday...too bad love is a joke because human nature is trash.) As far as worldly things go, money is my top priority for now, and it has been for quite some time....I think this priority shift happened around my senior year of college. I think that new perspective was a lot more mentally/emotionally healthy...as I temporarily gave up that pursuit, I was never again as depressed as I was before.

CNN "American Morning" show--Zain is showing legs again today. Hopefully she's on some other timeslot regularly or something...as she's only filling in for Soledad for this week. I'm hooked on Zain now, and I need to see her on a regular basis.

espn's "Cold Pizza" --what ever happened to Kit Hoover and Thea Andrews? If they dropped those ladies from the show, I really see no further point in its existence.

No one really remembers how hard Raul Julia beasted in that movie. Everyone always thinks of Van Damme first (which is definately justified), but everyone is always surprised at how badly Bison beasted in that movie. I can't even play with Bison now because I always end up breaking down in laughter.

Then the auto-guns break the cloaking system, and THEN they're like "Oh, it's a boat!" Holy beejezus.

Steven: With Super Mario Bros., the directors got fixated on literally carrying the game over to the movie. In the game the [characters] hop around and make doink noises, so they thought, “How do we do this in the movie? We’ll give them little hopping boots.” We could do something like that. If we were idiots, we could start out with the camera on the arcade game and then Guile jumps right out of the machine and yells, “Hi kids!” And then we could all go right to the unemployment line.

Mr. De Souza first nags at the SMB producers at how SMB attempts to recreate the video game with nutty traits like the hopping boots (I’ll give him that much), yet HIS movie totally diverges from the original idea of SF, alienating it from the fighting game fans, and trying to appeal to the action movie fans instead. At least you can’t blame the SMB producers for trying to make something a bit related to the game, even though they failed miserably. Actually, I think that scene with Guile saying “Hi kids!” would have actually made the movie rep in a good $2 million more BY ITSELF, but since this is Van Damme we’re talking about, it would be more of a gritting experience, like “HAE KIZES!”. And the suggestion is live proof of why Hollywood and video games must NEVER relate ever again...one studio gives up a shitty idea, and another studio makes their own version of crap. Q: Tell us about the plot.
Steven: It takes place in Shadowloo where there’s a civil war similar to what’s happening in Bosnia. Vega is Sagat’s protege and fights people to death in the arena. All 16 characters will show up, though some briefly. One problem is there aren’t enough villains to work with, so there will be some surprises in the film. Some characters will switch sides.

Lantis: First off, SHADALOO...a country?!? Must be a pretty fucked up country if it was built upon an international crime organization! Shadawloo Thong? No shit! And tell me about these “appropriate situations” you talk about, since you make no sense FROM THIS POINT. T.Hawk working for the military? Must be tough living as a wetback and having to serve the UN to feed his family. Chun Li a news reporter and Honda a cameraman...no comments. When did Sagat become a gangster anyway? Just because he was a part of Shadaloo? Hell, Sagat just entered Shadaloo to get to Ryu...it’s not like he’s some money-hungry OG gangsta or anything. And no, you’re missing Fei Long, you ass. At least you spared him (and the Bruce Lee image, which would NOT be tainted by your overwhelming piece of crap) from this dark nightmare. And WTF? Who said SF was based on a “good guy vs. bad guy” theme? Sure, there are some characters with evil agendas in mind, but they all fall into a whole scheme of a fight to search the best warrior in the world, a story of self-encountering and to realize their true inner strength...not some generic “good guy gets bad guy” shit. And your “side” changes made no sense at all...WHEN THE FUCK would Balrog be a good guy AND be a part of Chun Li’s TV crew (he’s so dumb he couldn’t even find the way to play a tape on a VCR), and HOW THE HELL would Dee Jay work for Shadaloo? Singing at their private conventions while smoking weed? Jesus, dude, wake up and smell the fuckin roses.

Q: Where are you filming Street Fighter?
Steven: We’re filming on the north shore of Australia and in Bangkok, Thailand. We thought Capcom might be upset if the plot was that Bison seized control of Tokyo and started executing people. Of course, maybe it would have been okay if Bison had seized control of the Konami building and started executing people.

Lantis: Another great plot twist ruined by De Souza’s lack of common sense. Hey, if it worked for Godzilla, why not have Bison raid Tokyo? And that Konami building raid isn’t a bad idea, either...except he forgot to acknowledge that if he did, Konami would whip out Solid Snake and Alucard and slap his fruity ass with DDR machines. Konami is the 1337!!

Q: Are any of the backdrops based on the game?
Steven: Yes, we have a fight that takes place in Vega’s stage. That set with the walls and the audience is in the movie. There’s also Guile’s stage with the airplanes. There will also be some surprises. You’ll have to pay close attention.

Lantis: OMFG! I saw an elephant in the movie! It must have been Dhalsim’s stage! Sweet Jesus! A snake! It must be the same from Blanka’s stage! Pfffft! What a fraud! And if Bison’s Napoleon painting was the “surprise” you had in mind...let me tell you that it failed...miserably.

Q: Will the moves and combinations from the game be in the movie?
Steven: The styles will be consistent, but there won’t be any fantastic moves – no teleporting or fireballs. But there will be a hint that this might happen in a future picture.

Lantis: Again, you screwed up big time after saying that. No special moves? It won’t be ANY different from a regular action movie, you moron! And yet you didn’t want the movie to be tagged...dickhead. And your poor rendition of the Hadoken, Shoryuken, and Psycho Crusher had me in utter tears. And which was the “hint” anyway? Bison’s rocket boots? Next you know it...Dhalsim will be drinking gasoline, Rose will have Yugioh cards, and Rolento will be a Pokemon trainer! Yeah baby!

Q: What about the action?
Steven: We’re going to have enormous battle scenes – we’re renting the entire army of Thailand. At the end of the picture when we have an all-out battle for Bison’s hidden temple in the jungles of Shadowloo, it’s going to blow people’s minds. It’s going to be like D-Day.

Lantis: My guess is that even *I* could rent the Thai army if they ever accepted to participate in that shitty movie. I guess the military over there is way underpaid or shit like that. But it sure did blow...but not precisely people’s minds, though.

Q: How tough has it been to choose a cast?
Steven: We’re also having trouble finding Cammy. We’re seeing a lot of English girls, but they’re not very thin or they’re wimpy – they couldn’t even beat up Pee Wee Herman.

Lantis: And yet they settled with Kylie Minogue, who is a) Australian and b) well into her 40’s. Good call, mate! Hell, they could have at least strolled through SRK and asked for Million or Insaniac’s advice. Oh yeah...and don’t underestimate Pee Wee Herman. RC Mack Hand Bitch Slap pwns jOO, biyotch!

Q: Will backstory from the game, such as the Ryu/Sagat legacy, be in the movie?
Steven: That’s dealt with in the movie. People will be surprised when Sagat takes off his shirt.

Lantis: BOOBS! ...Aw, crap. You got me all excited, bitch! Anyhow, just because you gave Sagat a crappy scar on his chest and the rivalry is already “dealt with”? Oh yeah...you could almost feel the tension between Ryu and Sagat when they met...or was it sexual tension? Must have been that damn secret beneath the shirt, I tell ya.... Hell, the only backdrop dealt with was Chun Li’s vendetta and even THAT was botched.

Q: Any romance between any of the characters?
Steven: There might be a little attraction, just like Star Wars. But in Star Wars they didn’t really deal with it until the later films.

Lantis: *sigh* Comparing to Star Wars again? Pointless! I agree that SF doesn’t have too much romance among the characters, but damn...I didn’t realize they would make a homoerotic scene between Balrog and Honda! EEEEEEEWWWW! At least give us a decent Chun Li nipple shot, bastard!

Q: Will the actors ever appear in a SF game?
Steven: We’ll shoot extra footage of Van Damme and some of the actors that will appear in a future version of the game.

Q: Do other SF projects, such as the anime (YEAH!) and comic, influence you?
Steven: I’m worried that there can only be so much flexibility within the Capcom universe. What if you pick up the comic book and Chun Li is really Ryu’s sister. And then you see the movie, and maybe they get married and have a baby. My concern is consistency.

Lantis: Wow, man! Consistency...I wonder where you left it? Cuz Charlie being the same person as Blanka is bull shit. Making Dee Jay a Shadaloo cronie instead of a musician, Honda a cameraman, Chun Li a reporter...holy crap! That shit is REALLY accurate to the game, foo’! And I strongly suggest you stop reading HK manga or that ridiculous Malibu Comics disgrace. For shame! Stop ripping apart the SF universe in your mind!

Q: What is the violence content in the movie?
Steven: We expect the movie to be PG-13. No one gets their eyeballs punched out by sharp stakes in a giant close-up. But if you think Indiana Jones movies were thrilling, then this movie will be at that level. No gratuitous violence.

Lantis: Damn, you screwed over Vega pretty bad with that statement. And WHY do you still think SF will be at Indiana Jones level? Hell, even fuckin’ Shorty from Temple of Doom could own Bison in this movie.

Steven: I didn’t say that.
