-Kroger doesn't completely dominate when it comes to cheap prices.....I've noticed that Walmart and Target destroy Kroger when it comes down to the price on Triscuits, Wheat Thins, and Teddy Grahams. Walmart and Target will have them priced at 2.04 or so, at least here....meanwhile Kroger has those snacks at 2.89, sometimes 2.99....yeah, I was too lazy to even search out my old "Cheap Eats" thread, or whatever it was called...it's probably gone anyway.

Oh yeah...Walmart also has Kroger beat on my precious Freschetta pizzas! I think for a medium sized one it's only 3.49 or so there...Kroger's is 3.79. Fortunately for me(*because Kroger is closer to me than Walmart) that's not such a severe price difference.

I'm also just now discovering Kroger even has their own brand of fries(regular, curly, steak-fry style, etc), oatmeal...even dish detergent!!!

Well, it's odd, since I'm sure the Kroger "Honey Nut Oats" is actually better than Honey Nut Cheerios....which completely destroys the point of getting regular Honey Nut Cheerios. The Kroger version in that case is better, and the price difference is too good to resist. (*Kroger brand 1.78...compare that to "regular" name-brand cereals that are something rediculous like 2.69--3.89.)

Even if it were the exact same thing...that still supports the notion of the Kroger brand being superior. Why get the "real" cereal when the Kroger version of it is the same but almost half the price?

Quality of women at Kroger---eh, it's all over the place....yeah, that's not a good thing. It's completely dependent on the area the Kroger is in. The "'hood" Krogers = NOT good. It could be because the states doesn't want legal problems to arise with the TV series Gash (http://imdb.com/title/tt0364810/). So in order to not associate with it in anyway, they chose Zatch. My "trick" for watching Yu-Gi-Oh is this: I chill for most of the season, maybe catching an occassional episode or two. If it's bad, I'll forget about it, but, if it's good, I'll catch the reruns of the episodes around its time later on. I won't really start tuning in until Yugi gets closer to battling the season's "last boss," since that's usually when the really crazy bullshit gets played. That usually helps me from getting overwhelmed by poor plot/character design (since most of the characters, save for Yugi, the boss, and possibly a few others should be eliminated by the time I tune in).

If it's a Graphire tablet, save your money and go for WACOM's Intuous series. The difference in cost is relatively big, but it's definitely worth it, as the Intuous tablets are over twice as sensitive as the Graphires.

Dragon Booster is the first major case of butt-ugly cel-shaded visuals. I was starting to think it was nearly impossible to make Cel-shade polys into something ugly, but whoever is responsible for the DB cartoon succeeded. It's a complete mess....the character designs look like they were thought up by a 9 year old with only "mediocre for even a 9year old" talent. How is this garbage still on the air? Kids really do have crappy taste, most of the time, apparently. The only good thing to say is that at least the creators were trying something different. At least they didn't create yet another lame ass card-battle/collectible creature-battle thing.

I work downtown in a fairly large city. When I statred here I got lucky and they put my desk next to the window. the only thing that sucks about it is that during the winter my Cubicle gets really cold.

Anyway when I'm not reading random things on SRK I usually stare out the window and day dream. Out of the 8 hours a day that I am here I would say I work about 4. :xeye: I actually feel kinda bad about this too. I would hate to have somebody like me as an employee. I just ate a bannana and threw the peel out the window. At first I was hoping it would hit someone in the head (I work on the 7th floor) but that didn't happen. I worked at Six Flags Marine World one summer. Worst summer job ever.

I was a ride operator. One of my rides was one of those turning-gyrating deals that'll make anyone with a weak constitution hurl. I was usually pretty good at kicking off the weaklings before they got to that point, but one day I started my shift, and the girl I relieved left me with 4 pukers. One of whom had got halfway up the fairway before spewing. It was a hot day too, so that shit was cooking on the pavement. It was a bad vomit too...the guy who took care of it nearly got peaced out by it. "Oh shit, this is a ham and cheese right here." We put the kitty litter on it, that was about all we could do.

But for the next hour or so, I watched, amazed, as people stepped right through the vomit, completely oblivious to it. I mean, I figured the smell alone would tip off most people, but nope. You even had mothers pushing baby strollers through the vomit. In the end, we never cleaned it up, but I think a few hundred Six Flags guests took home an extra souvenier from the park.

The banana peel reminded me of that.
