5/20/13 UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know about our FG club that meets every Tuesday. We host tournaments for various games including, UMvC3, SSF4AE, Smash Bros and Injustice. People are welcome to set up stations for casuals.

This Tuesday(5/21), we're running an Injustice tounament. $5 entry fee; $1 dollar of the entry fee goes towards the club and the remaining $4 goes towards the prize pool. Tournaments are on PS3.

The University of California - Santa Barbara fighting game club "Black N Blue" hosts a weekly casual event on Tuesday, 8:00pm - closing.

The biggest fighting game tournament in Michigan is back! The Michigan Fighting Game Community, Project Playhem, and the Michigan Smash Bros community are collaborating to bring you Michigan Masters 2013! Last year there were over 100 people in attendance, and brackets with 50+ entrants!

If anyone in the Savannah area is looking for weekly tournaments/friendlies then you're in luck! I've gotten together with a few people and have started talks about bringing weekly's to a local bar. The bar is the Tree House and we'll be doing sort of a "test run" this coming Wednesday. If anyone is looking to play please let me know! It starts at 9pm, is 21+, and will most likely be running Marvel and AE2012. MAYBE an older game to attract people just hanging out in the bar or whatever. The details are a bit sparse right now, but we're going with the flow and with any luck this will pick up steam. Savannah needs some FG love hard. Instead of sitting at home watching the EVO stream on your computer, I offer this, our fourth annual tournament and EVO stream viewing event (on a 135" HD screen no less!). EVO live stream is always very hype and a nice way to relax between matches. Your admission to any tournament at Arcade Legacy includes FREE PLAY on all of the 60+ arcade games and pinballs in the building! For this tournament, I am offering you all the option to come Friday, Saturday and Sunday all for just the normal one day admission price! Main tournaments will only be run on Saturday, but it will cost you no extra to come play all weekend long. $10 covers your entry for all three days. If enough people show up on either Friday or Sunday, we could definitely run some more smaller tournaments.

RULES: UMVC3 and INJUSTICE will be best 3/5 the entire tournament. The rest will be 2/3 until grand finals which will be 3/5.

STREET FIGHTER ALPHA GAUNTLET - This will be a best 2/3 total games. Best 3/5 matches for each game. The order of the games will be chosen each round by a random drawing.

VAMPIRE SAVIOR 2v2 - Partners will be randomly chosen by drawing before the tournament. This tournament is Waseda style. You will decide beforehand who will be Player A and who will be player B. Player A from one team plays player A from another team, the respective player B's then play. If both players from the same team win, the match is over. If each team has 1 win, the winners will play to determine the winner of the match.

MYSTERY GAME - This will be a mystery tournament. Any game from any genre could be included. Each round will have a different game. It will span all systems as far back as NES up to current gen.

All other games are using standard rule set. No bans.

I am looking for volunteers to run games. You will get 1/2 off venue if you run one game. Free venue if you run two games.

Detailed Tournament Rules

There are only 32 spots available for UMvC3 & SSF4AE. Injustice only has 16 spots.
ASUS 23-inch LCD monitors with speakers.
All games will be played on the default settings, unless otherwise specified.
All macros available via the in-game controller configuration menu are allowed.
Hardware programmable input entry, rapid-fire, or other hardware assisted mechanisms are strictly forbidden.
You may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, etc.
Accidentally pausing the game at any time during the fight may force you to forfeit the round (solely at a judge’s discretion).
Any player using “Random Select” to pick their character, must “Random Select” again if they win the match, provided that there is no way to pick a certain character in the random box.
B.Y.O.C. Bring your own controller. *Wired controllers available for rent. $5 per day. $20 deposit.
All games are on Xbox 360.
All converters are the responsibility of the player.

If you want to waive the $5 venue fee and help out STLBarWarz please register to reserve a station for your setup. Set-ups must include both a console and a screen. During tournaments STLBarWarz reserves the right to ask you to set your station to a particular game, however you may otherwise play whatever you'd like at your set-up. We may also be preferential to those who bring ASUS or other low-lag monitors vs. monitors which have noticeable lag. If you reserve a station in advance you have until the first tournament starts to get it set up or your space may be used by someone else.

For those who bring a set-up without a reservation you will be allowed to set-up on a first come first serve basis until all the spots are filled. We will also waive your venue fee. The biggest fighting game tournament in Michigan is back! The Michigan Fighting Game Community, Project Playhem, and the Michigan Smash Bros community are collaborating to bring you Michigan Masters 2013! Last year there were over 100 people in attendance, and brackets with 50+ entrants!

* 2 / 3 games for a match set in pools and semis.
* Grand finals consist of 3 / 5 games.
* After a game has concluded, winner must stick with same char/team for the next game.
* Loser has option of switching char/team.
* Game breaking glitches are banned.

CEO 2013 Fighting Game Championships are a 3 day Gaming Convention for all Fighting Game Enthusiasts from all over the world competing for cash and prizes. Come witness and compete with some of the best players in the world inside of one of the largest 20,000 sq ft tournament gaming venues at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. If you want to come out and just have fun there will also be plenty of Casual Gaming Stations to play some of the latest Games as well as prize giveaways and booths to check out.

Please Make sure to purchase your Event Badge before adding each game entry and Save by buying your Badges early. There will be Spectator Badges for those wishing to bring friends and family to the event. They will be sold at the door for $20 cash only for the entire weekend and will receive the same badges as players to keep. You must be 13 yrs old to Enter CEO 2012 Tournaments. If you reserve a station in advance you have until the first tournament starts to get it set up or your space may be used by someone else.

For those who bring a set-up without a reservation you will be allowed to set-up on a first come first serve basis until all the spots are filled. We will also waive your venue fee. (Note: If you and a friend come up and one brings a console and the other a screen, only one person can claim that setup. The other must still pay).

Point System
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the 3 qualifier tournaments are automatically advanced to the KOTH Championship on July 14th
- 4th-8th place = 3 points
- 9th-12th place = 2 points
- 13th-lower = 1 point
- Minimum 6 points needed to qualify for KOTH Championship
