sf x tekken = good for the community.
most of us in here were born in the arcade culture so there is no line between us. 2d and 3d players that is. now, i have noticed that a DISTINCT line is growing between new/younger players. not that this line is anything new, i just think it has grown more distinct since both sets of players don't to get to mix and mesh like they were forced to do on the arcade scene. 3d players bitch about sf being the "go to" game right now and killing t6, not so much the other way around. this will tempt 3d players to venture over since the characters will be familiar and some of the moves will too. just different inputs and stricter timing of course.
now as far as tekken x sf, who knows. namco/bandai drops the ball so much, i honestly have no clue what the fuck they are thinking 70% of the time. they put out games stateside with super delay, completely rape characters movelists for no reason and a bunch of other shit that i could ramble all day about.
all in all it's a good move. i'm pretty sure capcom's version will be more successful and this was a long overdue. i honestly didn't think it would ever happen. had this been lets say 7 years earlier, it may have saved some arcades here and there.
kyah, what have you heard bad about mlg?
