ronny you live near zag? that's not TOO far from cheney! we shoudl play some time, these upcoming weeks (and subsequent winter break) will be VERY difficult because of finals and what not, but you're not so far off. I'll try to arrange something with the cheney guys and your guys!

Hey guys, how did the gathering go? How many people showed up?
Sorry you guys haven't heard from me in a while. Hastings never got back to me and other commitments in my life kind of took over so I haven't had a chance to think about SSF4 much. I'm considering just hosting the thing at my house for the time being but I was wondering how many people we would be looking at.
I have two TVs (50" plasma and 32" LCD) and three 360 TE sticks, but only one 360 console. If someone could bring another console and possibly a stick, we would have two full setups.
I haven't played any games on the LCD TV yet so I would have to test out the responsiveness of it.

So I talked to my wife and we are open to hosting some people at our house. Space could potentially be an issue but I imagine we can fit 10-12 people comfortably. Hopefully we could have three setups. If Ronny comes, we would have three TVs and two 360s, so someone would need to provide a third console for that to work.
Who would be up for doing this Saturday, 12/11 at 7:00? It's kind of short notice but even if only a small handful come it would be nice to get to know some of you.
My wife offered to make some food and we can have some pop or beer on hand. We're not trying to make a profit out of this but if you'd like to get in on that, bring some cash to offset the cost. We would probably be looking at some appetizer-sized stuff - mini pizzas, cheese quesadillas, mini BBQ chicken sandwiches, that sort of thing.
I'm most interested in playing SSF4 but if you guys want to have a machine dedicated to MvC2, SFII HD Remix, BlazBlue or whatever, that's your call. My machine will be strictly SSF4 though
Where: My House
Time: Saturday 12/11, 7:00-whenever
Games: SSF4 + whatever we can agree on
Let me know about:
Number of People
Interest in food
If you can bring consoles/sticks

there might be a chance i can snag my GF's console as well for a 3rd rig. last summer i ran a few fight nights with some other SRK members. so ill try and see if i can contact them and get them coming...(one cat has a deadly as viper).
EDIT: i contacted 3 people and they more people, but we shall see. the spokane scene goes in spurts sadly.

Alright, so the first Spokane Fight Club was a roaring success! Actually, it was just me and Ronny Haines playing SSF4 for 3 hours. Good times! I came up as the victor in a first to 5 but Ronny assures me a salty runback is coming!
However, I am planning on hosting again this Friday and it sounds like several of you will be back from Pullman. Let me know if you are interested!
We will have some food, likely mini-pizzas, BBQ chicken sandwiches, and chicken and cheese quesadillas, probably for around $1 each for us to break even. We will probably have some beer and pop on hand as well.
Where: My house
When: Friday, Dec. 17th, 7:00 PM
Let me know:
-Number of people coming
-Interest in food (please bring some cash to offset cost)
-If you can bring any consoles, sticks, or TVs
If Ronny Haines and Anti-Freak come, we will have two 360 setups and one PS3 setup. That might be enough but it depends on how many people are interested.
Let me know ASAP! Call for directions or questions, 509-954-1663
