I'd like to sign up. I'm in the west end of Toronto, Rexdale specifically. I'm a modder and stick builder. Haven't built a stick in a while though. heres what i can do:
controller hacking, if there's a slagcoin.com diagram, i can hack it.
Button, joystick and art swapping no problem.
Small repair and soldering jobs.
Never attempted a dual mod, but i'm pretty sure i can handle it.
as for pricing, i work pretty cheap when it's on my own time or when i'm free.

All sorts of cable mods, and random other stuff and oddities. If you need something, just ask, I can probably do it. The stranger the better, I love a challenge.
You know you haven't gone racing in a while, when you are towing your car to the track, and you keep looking in the rear view mirror while thinking "Why is that asshole tailgating me?!?!?!"
You can add me to New Mexico. I can do: Templates, painting, dyes, button/joystick swaps, RJ45, MC Cthulhu, Imp solder and installation mods to 360 MadCatz sticks. Its not a whole lot, but if anyone in the area needs an extra hand I can definitely try and make time.
Past works
-Modding an SNES stick into a PC stick using a logitech PC Pad PCB
-Custom made PS3 stick with Arcylic / Wood using Happ parts.
-Custom made PS3 stick with Arcylic using Padhacked PS1 digital PCBs with Sanwa parts.
Prices
-For modding a stick with new parts $30 + parts
-For custom made stick $60 + parts
-For minor fixes or maintenance, free
-For laser engraving, ask for a quote
-For advice and question, free!
-Price are all upfront, in CADs

We really need more moder on Western Canada! I was really surprised when I bought my first modded stick to Oveture 9 and somebody told me they have never saw a custom stick in real life! Really disappointing! I will be happy to help anyone who want to get into this!

Wow, great idea for a thread. I'll toss my hat in:
I'm based out of Austin, TX, and I'll do work local to the area (not accepting mail order jobs for the time being). I also travel to tourneys, and do around 1-2 tournaments a month (esp majors).
Services offered:
Dual mods, RJ45, RJ45 cables, case assembly, button/stick replacement, wiring, case mods, troubleshooting, etc etc etc etc. I likely do it, or can figure out how really damn quickly. :p
:-( yeah not much of a midwest. hopefully i can learn enough and work on enough projects to get my name up there
cause so far all ive done is a stick from a guitar hero pcb, madcatz fightpad, and a rj-45 dpdt switch multiconsole/xbox360 mod
I decided that I should be added to the list. I only like to work locally, I don't like shipping out stuff, and I'm not always available, sometimes not in the mood, but doesn't hurt to PM me.
I can do: Dual Mods, RJ-45 mods. Project Box sticks, and experimental stuff like FrankenFightPads.
I also have some ability to do some wood work like drilling and routing, but don't have the time to make cases or full customs.
I've made about 20-30 sticks, wrote some tutorials for the community in the read first sticky.
I'm in the San Jose Bay Area, CA, Mountain View more specifically.
Okay. I'll add myself. I was informed I'm okay. I have half-year in age according to SRK rules. I was worried I had to wait until the day I had half-year of age.
Location: Statesboro, GA, at Georgia Southern University.
I do pretty much any conventional stick mod or build (But if you want a stick that has vibrating fart noises, you should really see Gummowned). That includes LEDs, Dual Mods, MC Cthulhu + RJ-45, RJ-45 system cables, etc.
I'll wire custom builds, but I cannot make a case.
I do project box stuff as well. Those are cool.
I'll help diagnose any stick problems or mods that you may have, if you have something wacky wrong with your stick.
I'll do mods over mail through request. Shipping is somewhat of a hassle.
I'll also tutor soldering, the technical aspects of arcade stick, or mathematics if you prefer to learn.
Maybe a bit Late, but I started modding stuff a while ago and I have experience with dual mods, Cthulhu, Imps, Chimps and all that kind of stuff.
I live in Lima, Perú, maybe someone finds that useful and could contact me.
I think I'll add myself to the list. I can do artwork swap, basic or advanced padhacks (including dual mods, MC Cthulhus with detachables RJ45 cables with/without Neutrik or DIN connectors), LED mods. I used to make wooden cases (real wood, not MDF) but I won't do it anymore (I still have a few different oak prototypes if you're interested).
Living in Lyon/France and would love to help the VS fighting scene this way. Contact me if you're interested.

I've been modding and repairing sticks now for the last 5 years. The services I can offer are:
Electronics - single/dual/tri+ modding
Upgrades to modular support (RJ-45 jacks & cables, DIN's, USB jacks)
Sale and installation of Sanwa and Seimitsu parts (joysticks, buttons, accessories)
Sale and installation of various PCB's (Cthulhu, Multi Console Cthulhu, Dual Strike, Datel ArcadePro/Paewang, IMP, 360 Fightpad, PSX, Dreamcast)
Plexiglass panels for Mad Catz TE sticks
Sale of ready made modified arcade sticks - Agetec, SE, TE, FS3, HRAP3, Namco, Sammy, Hori PS2 (small)
Things I don't currently do are LED mods, custom artwork designing & printing, building stick shells from scratch (though I am currently restoring a small selection of ready made, natural wood custom shells). Though other modders found via the NeoEmpire forums can do this.
I have an extensive list of positive feedback - to view this you will need to register with NeoEmpire.com so you can access the Selling & Wanted section and Modding Workshop areas. Direct links:
Just search for my user name or contact me directly via PM or email.
Prefer meeting up in person rather than posting sticks out for a few reasons, mainly that it's much easier to fix any problems, there's no postage charge, and sending a stick through the post can cause problems if dropped/knocked around. Central London is ideal.
Reliable modders in US, UK and abroad: Client referrals from focusattack.com
Hey all,
I'm Jaleel from focusattack.com - a store dedicated to the fighting game scene with joystick parts, merch and apparel. :) Check it out at focuattack.com sometime.
I would like to create a list of reputable mod services around the US and Europe for customers on my site. The list would contain links to SRK profiles and/or merchant reputation listings, separated by location and services offered.
What I would like is your permission to include you on the list. Modders on the list would potentially receive additional clients from my store. I'm also working on a possible bulk discount towards product restocks. For example, if I'm ordering new PCBs, I can offer a discount for modders on the list that want to purchase several of them. This is a work in progress, however.
I do not mind being listed on your site. You can link them to my post or profile. I highly prefer local mods over mail. If it's local, I can set up an appointment time, work on their stick and get it back same day, in most cases. If it is over mail, you would usually get the stick when you do, and that means having to get to filling the order ASAP to keep the customer from waiting too long, because there is a whole return trip involved, too. I'll do over mail if requested. But, that's all I'd like to have known.

I started doing mods earlier this year and I am able to do basic mods of filing out holes in sticks, solder buttons onto PCBs and dualmods with the Datel Arcade pro PCB. I also sell Datel Arcade Pro sanwa modded sticks too for £75 exc Postage (although price may change).

you can put me down for Washington (Auburn/Seattle area). i do mostly pad-hacks & dual mods. i am going to be checking out some L.E.D. mods soon here but i'll update when i'm comfortable with those =)
I have been coming to this site since 2007 or so I believe, I use to provide modded Xbox 360 controllers and PSX controllers. I can solder just about any controller with wires for HAPP or Sanwa connectors. I have done dual mods for Chimp and Chutulhu with an RJ-45 adapter for extra console's such as gamecube or PS2. I can make any kind of cable, wether it's USB or out of Cat-5.
I live in Kaneohe, HI. I can assist with any modding needed, I don't do photoshop but if you have the art you want, I can cut it for you and attach it to your stick. I can do just about any soldering service. I don't have set prices but can take "gifts" or "tips".

Hey guys i have been modding, building customs, and padhacking for over a year now. I am almost done with building the arcade customs part of my site and should be done come early january. I am in the inland Empire, Ca and have serviced people from the inland empire, orange county, San Diego and have even padhacked for some peopl over in the UK. If you can i would also like to be added to the list. It should be noted that i am not able to do any padhacks through the new year but next year will be free again to hack up and build. If you wanted to link the site. Here it is http://thegamesurgeons.com/Lightning%20Label%20construction.html still under construction till early January. Thanks guys
