Ah - based on the name, I see that we already spoke on Twitter, and Jenn sent you a response to your initial inquiry and follow up by email.

You'll likely run into the same issue upon re-ordering during the sale. There just isn't enough information to support approval. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

So you are saying I should give up trying? Nothing I can do? :/

Allow me to get back to Jenni and discuss further. I'm the final say in what happens, and based on the conversations we're having, can assess risks on a case-by-case basis when the system does not allow otherwise.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I apologize if I caused any troubles, it'd be nice if there's a way to solve this type of issue in the future without resorting to case-by-case assessment.

I'm afraid that I don't have this much control outside of Vewlix - for now. The metal panels underneath the plexi are manufactured by IST. I would have to get any other metal panels manufactured elsewhere.

I checked that it is coming in this week's partial restock. Should arrive Thursday or sooner.

Depends on whether you feel the tension on your existing JLF is too loose. You may find that this offers more tension than the original, which would apply to the 8BYT. It felt pretty good when I tried it, but Sanwa isn't discontinuing the 8AYT, and pricing will remain the same for both.

Just in case anyone is interested, Qanba Crystal now has plexi and artwork services:

    ns-crystal-example.jpg

I'm working on the Razer Panthera, which should also come soon:

    ns-razer-atrox.jpg

After that, I will work on official Hitbox (latest model), plus some of the imported HRAP models such RAP V JPN and RAP 4 Silent. Following that will be older models such as MadCatz SCV, Versus, and HRAP 3 EX.

    Thanks!

It's a MadCatz version. Qanba's doesn't really match colors too well, except for white.

I'm afraid not right now. With MadCatz is no longer around, there is no more access to Fightsticks and parts.

If somehow that changes or I can get some to resell, I'll announce it, but quantities would be very limited if I did.

I just read on your website that the Crown 309MJ models have a "1.5mm low profile collar" and that the actuators were made of "acetate " for the 309 model.

The collar is not 1.5mm in height at all. Just from the photos, it is a lot more. On the korean arcade parts thread here, it has been measured by a fan to be 6mm high (from the flanged part to the top, dust washer excluded of course) . Still a lot less than the traditional korean collar though (standard 303 has 17mm high collar) .
As for the white actuators, they're really made of acetal (acetic anhydride + formaldehyde) , not with "acetate" (cellulose acetate) .

Yes - I have an announcement regarding that here:

That said, stock of Seimitsu products will be limited for the foreseeable future due to unplanned changes in their manufacturing.

I don't think there are any other areas aside from leaving out the last two button holes to create a 6 button layout. The top and bottom middle screws are far enough from the buttons that they don't get in the way, and I think the area for the home button is molded into the shell so it can't be removed without dremeling (at least on the Playstation version).

Will the template have indications of where the touchpad buttons are located? For those who'd want to incorporate labels into the artwork itself rather than have the touchpad area exposed

I haven't figured out everything yet, so yes, I can include markers where the touchpad buttons are. Still need to confirm that the touchpad can work underneath the paper.

I may not fully understand the question, but if you ask asking for foam mats, I do carry one from IST:

    https://www.focusattack.com/ist-makestick-pro-foam-mat/

It can be cut and shaped into pieces for other Fightsticks.

I did that with the MC VS and the IST mat. Wish my exacto was sharper and was working on a better surface but still pleased.

Yes - sorry about inventory issue here. Of the larger restock, I didn't realize that JLF components weren't part of our large purchase order until checking inventory afterwards. @Jenni is ordering them in the next restock, but our supplier is sending an off-schedule shipment with those components. I expect we could get them by end of next week.

Restock of MJ and Helpme will arrive by end of the week. The numbers are better for MJs this time but colors aren't there. I will have black and red, but not white for MJ. I'll have white for Helpme, but not black or red. :s Hoping for some normalcy in the coming weeks.

CORRECTION: We'll have units across all available colors. @Jenni corrected me on that. As for color battops from Crown, I'm looking into it. Those models don't have a price yet, as neither does the Infiltration SDL-301-DX lever.

On some other notes, I'll have Crown SDB201 buttons listed by end of next week. Personally I really like them, they have a satisfying click when pressed. But I'll leave that to you to decide. They will have a clear ring (protos had color translucent rings, but they did away with that for black, and I wasn't too keen on solid black for those). They look pretty nice, too. Will have photos once the non-protos arrive.

Thanks. Yep. Read that. All of the unlocked artwork layers that I had created during my work had already been merged. PSD is still clocking in at 300MB. It's a plain old Vewlix F layout with literally four colors (dark red, red, gray and white) so I'm hella confused as to why it's so bloated...
    3FIxISy.png

I also didn't see anything pertaining to a particular color format/profile to save the file. Currently it's saved as sRGB. Should I change it?

Generally you want to be working in CMYK if you're making something that you intend to be printed but and the colors need to be as accurate as possible. They state it doesn't matter though because of the printing technology they use and with a simple design like that you probably won't have any issues as long as it can reproduce the shades of red.

Most files - even hi res PSD files should not clock in over 300 MB with the artwork layer flattened. Can you save it to dropbox and send a public link so I can download and review?

You can save as a RGB file. @EldritchOnRye is correct that genrally CMYK offers the most accurate print, however I've received literal wallpaper JPEGS from players and so long as they have a good pixel size (article explains what I mean here: https://support.focusattack.com/hc/en-us/articles/207447763-Screen-Versus-Print-A-Helpful-Guide) most prints look excellent whether in RGB or CMYK.

Thanks. Yep. Read that. All of the unlocked artwork layers that I had created during my work had already been merged. PSD is still clocking in at 300MB. It's a plain old Vewlix F layout with literally four colors (dark red, red, gray and white) so I'm hella confused as to why it's so bloated...

I also didn't see anything pertaining to a particular color format/profile to save the file. Currently it's saved as sRGB. Should I change it?

Most PSD files I've received with the artwork don't clock in at 300 MB. Can you share the file on Dropbox?

Generally you want to be working in CMYK if you're making something that you intend to be printed but and the colors need to be as accurate as possible.

That's what i though too, though Art @ Tek-innovations prints after converting received files to RGB. He says colors pop more.

I've managed both RGB and CMYK files. In fact, most of the files that are submitted are just wallpapers found on the net, which the majority are RGB. The plotter does a pretty good job matching colors.
