just got my silent pushbutton order and one came without a foam pad. how can I get this addressed?

For any order-related issues, you can send a message to orders@focusattack.com and Jenni or JJ - my new full time customer service rep - will receive a notification. They'll then look into the issue and get a replacement shipped ASAP.

It is possible that one of the non-silent buttons were accidentally mixed in with silent buttons in the bin. Sanwa's OBSFS buttons look exactly the same unless you look very hard at the inside. Either case they should get a replacement button shipped to you soon as staff returns to the warehouse on Monday.

I really don't need another button just the foam silencer. I'll just order a pack of foam silencers.

Apologies - It's very tough to anticipate how a sale announcement may affect someone, but I do get posts like this each time a sale is announced.

Please, how accurate and durable is the Kowal 1mm oversided JLF actuator nowadays? I read in some thread they are made of ABS, besides, someone got the piece warped after 1 year used, those posts are 1 year old.

Today i see they are made of Nylon according the FA store, so i wonder if it's kinda the same thing or the actual one is superior/durable.

I will say that the ones at FA are made of Nylon, but I'll leave it to others to comment on accuracy and durability. They are still quite popular in terms of sales and reviews are available on the product page.

They used to be made of abs, for the record. The nylon ones seem to be much tougher in my experience, though I pretty much only use my LS-56 equipped sticks these days. As for the effects of the actuator, I very much prefer what it does to tighten engage and reduce throw verses the stock jlf and hayabusa actuators.

Had these for a bit, but needed time to take photos and get listings written. Hopefully this should help to keep players from buying the SDL-301-DX grommets and putting them in the 309, which is partly why i was running out quickly. Available here:

@jmanDMC Hey, any plans to do a plexi for the Hrap 2/3? Specifically in 1/16" or slightly thinner, anything over the warpy 1/32"

I do have the hardware, so following the Venom, Etokki and MadCatz TE2 Type Noir layout, I'll make it the next project.

So you're saying that 1/32" is too thin to offer for this model?

To mention I've recently come across 1/30" impact acrylic. It's thinner than the 1/40" I currently use, and can be etched upon for labels and partial graphics unlike the 1/40" PETG I offer now.

I was planning to move from 1/40 to this 1/30" material within about a week. I'll offer both 1/16" and 1/30" thicknesses for HRAP 2/3 for those who decide upon which they like best.

I just personally find the plexis that are flexible instead of stiff start to lift up on places on their own and have to constantly unscrew a few screws to fix it temporarily, thought it was a heat or humidity problem like leaving it in your car but even even sticks I leave at home 24/7 that use 1/32" or thinner in 45% humidity seem to start lifting in places so I like to go for thicker plexis, only downside is more prone to snapping and will have a lip where your wrist sits on some sticks.

I'm definitely interested in placing another order with you; especially if you start carrying their new HBFS line of buttons. Heard that shipping directly from them is really expensive; because it's coming from Taiwan.

Understood. I still have some outstanding questions before we can purchase, so I can't provide any ETAs when I can bring them stateside. We have tested the new samples, and I'm sticking with the screwbuttons if we bring them in.

Right - that is partly why we opted to keep looking for the thinner impact acrylic, aside from ability to etch upon. I'll offer both thicknesses for those who want either.

Awesome, another version of the HRAP which is pretty niche is the Tekken 6 HRAP.

    tekkenn%20360%20product%20348.jpg

It's almost entirely identical to the regular HRAP's with the only difference being that the joystick is mounted slightly further away from the buttons than in other designs.

Is there any way for you to provide plexi's for this case? I'd love to dust mine off...

I have to get the hardware in order to spec it. Without that I can't be certain that the templates I create for them will install properly. I may find it for a reasonable price somewhere.

I wouldn't mind temporarily donating my case if all you need is to take some measurements and do some test cuts. It's been out-of-use for a while now, and I don't mind shipping it your guys' way, for science, of course.

Sale ends midnight Sunday January 7 PST.

GamerFinger buttons are returning to FA in a few weeks (screw button only), new silver mechanical switch standard, plus other varieties.

Custom artwork/plexi returns Monday. New printer methods isn't ready just yet, but making progress. Once in place all paper artwork will be laser cut on 100lb cardstock, and immediately dried - no waiting an extra day to ship. 30mm button and qualifying 24mm button artwork will remain attached to print; extra 24mm option buttons may be separated. I'll get some new and old sticks added to the store in January - just been focused on the new method the past few weeks. Some significant updates coming there that I think you'll enjoy.

Crown SDB buttons are coming back. Samducksa is replacing our entire existing inventory due to some switches that aren't to spec. I don't know if other vendors had the same issue, but since there is only one manufacturer for these buttons, I can assume everyone is affected. Will have them back later in January.

Looking forward to sharing new developments as they come. Thanks!

Quick update - at the moment, only tap (snap) 24mm models are available. Pei says the tabs on these are thinner and more flexible (the 30mm ones are really firm and in our tests, hard to remove), so should be easier to install. I'm getting samples of the tap 24mm next week.

Ah, didn't see that post. I'm guessing it had to do with the microswitches not being consistent throughout the stock. Good to know though, I will probably be picking up a set when they're back.

I wanted to state that the service has changed as of this week. A new process is in place for artwork especially, using laser cuts and a new printing method. I haven't formally announced it yet, but players are getting art done under the new process as of this week.

Not yet - I've focused my time on the new printing method, so I haven't the time to work on new models just yet. However I do have the hardware, so this and others I've announced prior (Venom, Omni, HitBox (older PS360), TE2-Type N) will roll out over the next few weeks.

Do you know will you will be getting more of the purple seimitsus back in specifically the dnks and kns?

Edit: nevermind, stock has updated. Secondary question though, what's the difference between FA economy shipping and USPS flat rate?

FA Economy offers a set rate for a shipment of any size and weight, going no higher than $4.95. That means if the order is too large to ship USPS First Class, it will ship USPS Priority, and you will still pay no more than $4.95. This promotional rate applies to orders that have a subtotal of $4.95.

USPS Flat Rate can vary because it's set by USPS.

If your order shipping is less than $4.95, you can also choose the cheaper rate.

I offer more information in this support article:
