    The timing is really tight. I prefer to go straight to Charging Star after j.S.

    I regret not reserving a few posts, but if I need to I can remake, or someone else can take what I've posted and make it a better format.

    People keep asking about BnBs. Here's the one I suggest using:

    Here's the Taskmaster batch. I included the original vid I made just to be complete. I originally only had 5 videos but sWhiteboy (aka Spooty) msged me about the relaunch. I went to the lab and found another variation off a basic jump. I capped 3 videos - one with Spooty's relaunch, one with my new variation, and one with both!

    I have a feeling he may be able to do 4 or 5 loops. I'll test it out!

    After some quick tests, I was able to loop 4 or 5 of the sequence in question. I don't think it's worth doing past 3 or 4 reps because the damage doesn't justify potentially missing the super finish. I'll cap it tonight.

    b+H-S, sj.S, air QCF+H(hold), land, b+H-S, sj.S, air QCF+H(hold), land...

    Was up to about 750 damage after 4 reps I think... maybe even just 3.

    Yeah, at around 4 relaunches the damage really starts to sink. I have performed 6 loops, but the opponent recovers before I can sj.S them back down.

    Thanks for the combo Phreak, I added it to your section.

    I had a question for the more execution savvy, but would this combo work?

    (Enemy guarding[no push]) :dp::h: xx :h: xx :m: xx :h: xx :h: xx :m:, :qcf::h:, OTG:qcf::h:(charge), :b::h:, :s:, SJC., j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:f::h:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:s:, j.:qcf::h:(charge) xx :qcf::m::h:

    I'll give it a some time in a bit to see if I can get it, but I've been having a hard time doing his late j.:qcf::h:(charge), :b::h:. OTG relaunch. Lucky for me I run with deadpool, so I bet with him in the team I can get it to go like:

    (Enemy guarding[no push]) :dp::h: xx :h: xx :m: xx :h: xx :h: xx :m:, :qcf::h:, Partner :a1:/:a2:, st.:h:, :b::h:, :s:, SJC., j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:f::h:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:s:, j.:qcf::h:(charge) xx :qcf::m::h:

    Let me know what you think / find out. So far I only have two combos posted that come out after an unblockable headbutt, and I bet we can find a bunch more.

    Taskmaster/X-23/Morrigan 1.3 million combo (3 meters):

    cr.L, cr.M, cr.H, f.H, j.M, j.M, f.H, j.M, j.M, j.S, b+H, S, j.M, j.M, j.H, f.H, j.M, j.M, j.S, X-23 B assist, b+H, qcf+L (3 arrows), qcf+LM, dp+2A (X-23 X-Weapon hyper), :d::d:A (Morrigan Astral Vision), st.M, S, j.M, j.H, dp+M, qcb+S, j.M, j.H, dp+M

    *Used Taskmaster old Bnb beucase I didn't train the new ones yet
    *After the X-Weapon hyper, wait the opponent fall a little.
    *if you fall a little far from the coner after the j.S, sometimes jump, qcf+LH, X-Weapon works.
    *without Morrigan?s Astral Vision, it does ~900k damage
    *You can use any character that has a hyper that doesn't hit (like Ammy slow, Dante Devil Trigger, Phoenix Healing Field, etc) instead of Morrigan, but I don't know if the damage will be the same or similar. Even counter hypers works if KFC'ed (Taskmaster Aegis Counter for example)

    X-23/Taskmaster 1.4 million combo (2 meter, X-factor lv.1)

    dp+2A (X-Weapon hyper), qcb+2A (Aegis Counter), KFC, f.H, j.M, j.M, f.H, j.M, j.M, j.S, b+H, S, j.M, j.M, j.H, f.H, j.M, j.M, j.S, X-23 B assist, b+H. qcf+L (3 arrows)

    *Like the first combo, wait the opponent fall a little after X-Weapon. If you do f.H too soon, use f.H, j.M, f.H instead of using two j.M.
    *X-Weapon's run has full invincibility, it means it will pass through any projectile special or hyper and punish it. This is pretty useful against Sentinel if he tries beam spam or full screan hyper for chip and then you can DHC X-Weapon into Aegis Counter KFC will kill him.
    *If you have an assist that can make X-23 links X-Weapon after her Neck Slicer, you can also use this setup. However, you don't need a assist against Sentinel to combo Neck Slicer into X-Weapon.

    What are some good reset options? The one I've been trying is after launching, Spider Swing, M, M, H, let 'em fall, and try to go for it, or a grab. Any advice?

    Well, jpwn, it's highly character specific. You'll just need to get a feel for it, it can be incredibly difficult on sentinel and other big characters... But, if you can do it on Sentinel, you can probably do it on anyone.

    You'll pretty much have to get a feel for it. If you want a lot of footage of it done successfully, I pretty much have that combo down (But even then, I still drop it sometimes :shake:) and there's a lot of recorded footage of me on;

    YouTube - natearistata's Channel (I'm Dacidbro)

    Maybe just watching it done correctly a number of times will help you get the hang of it. Good luck.

    I agree. It's very easy to just look at spacing and do it offline, you get a feel for it. Online I end up dropping the combo pretty often because one timing doesn't fit all.

    I resort to j.:m:j.:h::l::m::h::b::h::s: online. Deals less damage but works on everyone with the same timing in the corner, and you can see ahead if you need to adjust midscreen.

    Thanks for the advice and your quick responses!:tup:

    @1000DollaSocks/Dacidbro
    il probably start practicing on sent

    yea i noticed some characters seem to have different timing b/c of their size and such.
    and i will check out those vids for sure, im sure seeing how the timing is will help out.

    @pwere
    hm i definitely will try that, i think its not too bad to used simplified alternatives if i can still connect the end of the combo

    Just wanted to say that Tasky can use the damage/scaling reset with Spencer without having to x-factor. Just DHC after the 3rd hit of Spencer's cinematic super (right after Spencer launches the opponent), and you will recover from the counter super before the opponent hits the ground.

    Does anyone have any tips to offer on the "Arrow Lift" combos that are on Trag13's Youtube channel. I'd like to eventually make them my BNB when I can start executing them properly. (1) How do you get Task to get close enough to the opponent after the air :s: knockdown to do the qcf+:h: on the way down?? Also what is the timing for it? Do you have to wait till the last second??

    I have been trying to do those combos, they are hard, if you want to try them online, just forget it, you need good timing and lag will be an issue...

    Now we have 2 scenarios here:

    1.- if you start with your combo in mid screen, after the :s: you will have to jump towards the opponent and not straight up, like the normal combos and then after jumping mash :s:, now that alone will set you up in the position you need to do the arrows, but you will have to wait. I recomend watching carefully how many bounces does a character do, so you get an idea of when to do your arrows.

    2.- In the corner its way easier, at the end of any B&B that ends with an :s: after a SJ aerial combo, you will land after the opponent, when you land jump immediatly and wait for task master to start to fall to the ground again (that means you need to watch closely) tasky will bend a knee, thats when you need to do the arrows.

    I havent tried with every type of character but im 70% sure that you need a different timing for every type of character (small, medium and huge ones).

    I hope that helps...

    You should be able to do it from Spencer's 4th hit as well. The hit strikes, but when you cancel out, they go into the "spin" state so they retain the height.

    Also, it works from Storm's DP+PP as long as you combo the DP+PP in a juggle. Humbag found that if you do a ground loop into c.H xx DP+PP and DHC to Task, you can easily combo c.L after. b+H shouldn't be a problem either.

    @Vastago yeah online play is horrible, Its even hard to execute some of the basics with the horrible lag. But thanks for the help I've actually figured out how to do it in the corner, just have to get it down to were I can do it consistently. But as fat as mid screen, am I correct in assuming the the first sequence before the :s:, air :s: qcf+:h: is the same whether your in the corner or not?

    Don't forget that you can utilize assists as well when abusing the dhc glitch, i.e. dhc from cuttin' time to task, normal jump forward, hard arrow shot down otg with deadpool quick work called a little earlier, land and juggle into something sweet of your choice that can cope with the added hit stun scaling thrown in at the start from shot and assist.

    You know what's better than this? Getting it off of the LAST hit. Midscreen.

    having trouble with connecting these parts
    after the j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:s: to st.:m:,st.:h:...
    Same problem here.

    It seems letting the previous spidey swing go right until the end helps connect the st.M. I've noticed the Apprentice Guide doesn't have the st.M but b+H xx S instead, which, is a little easier but I often do that bit too early and launch then too high to properly combo them after the SJ.

    I'm really struggling to justify this combo over the 1st combo in the Apprentice Guide L, M, H, b+H, S *sjc* etc. It doesn't do much less damage and MUCH easier to land.

    EDIT: Ugh, just tried the same combo on a different opponent and it the timing seemed to change completely.

    Here's a way to justify it: Doing :f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:s: builds a bit over half a bar of meter. That is hugely important.
    EDIT: Ugh, just tried the same combo on a different opponent and it the timing seemed to change completely.

    Different opponents are hit to different heights by the bnb, The easier thing I can say to get it consistently is forget the :m: :h: and just go for xx :f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:s: |> :b::h: sj.etc and just watch their height to see when to do the :b::h:. And if it looks like they're just too low for you to hit :b::h: after a j.:s:, do j.:h: instead. It takes some effort to get it down but when you can do it consistently it's very worthwhile.

    Thanks. I've modified it slightly to make it quite a bit easier.

    c.:l:, :m:, :h:, f+:h:, :m:, :m:, f+:h:, :m:, :m:, :s:, b+:h:, :s: sjc :m:, :m:, f+:h:, :m:, [:m:], :s:, jump Super

    I take out the [:m:] if I feel I'm not high enough to connect the :s: (because I launched too early)

    Also, why are the first 3 ground hits low?

    Another thing, there seem to be instances where the corner pushes them into a distance that I can't hit with the super, jump forward M+H is too far and they're grounded body is too close for L+H

    Actually, it should be c.L, c.M, H.
    Because s.M is a 2-hit attack, it reduces overall damage.
    And yeah, you have to adjust your timing on the fly depending on the opponent and exact spacing. Pretty easy to do offline, very tricky online.
    If you are close to the corner but not right there, you can skip the last j.S, and just go for MH Legion Arrow right there in the sky. An added bonus is that this DHCs super easily into basically anything.
    I guess you could also call an assist and go for the meaty unblockable on wakeup.

    i got a question about task's bnb spidey swing combo the one trag posted for combo 2 and 3 i believe. is it better to do two :m: on first swing or just one. because i see different players use either one for bnb. but i cant really tell which one may be more consistent. for one of them do you have to let the opponent drop a little or something?

    Doing two is better because it is a reasonably strong move and will increase your total damage more or less wherever. HOWEVER there are situations where doing two will make it much more difficult to combo, if you catch a light opponent particularly high or if you start it bringing Taskmaster in off of the DHC glitch and need to restrict your moves to make sure they don't fall out of the end of the combo.
    Another thing, there seem to be instances where the corner pushes them into a distance that I can't hit with the super, jump forward M+H is too far and they're grounded body is too close for L+H

    This should never happen. Against all opponents, Taskmaster's bnb is capable of bringing them from reverse-corner to corner, although if you start from the exact reverse corner you'll need to do a quick dash to connect the jump :qcf::h: :qcf::m::h: and you'll only be able to get off one arrow before your super, although you can still always use a relaunch assist like Spencer's Armor Piercer at that point for more damage still. Hold on a sec, I'll get a video of this.

    EDIT: Or maybe after I upload the video I'll just forget to edit it into my post for an hour or so. That could happen too. Nevertheless: image

    I let go of the arrows coming down on Cap too early :blush: Should be three hits of arrows before the super.

    Probably something like

    :d::l:, :d::m:, :d::h:, :f::h:, :m:, :m:, :f::h:, :m:, :m:, :s:, :m:, :h:, :b::h:, :s:, :m:, :m:, :s:, (Assist), :d::df::f::uf::h:, Land, :s:, :m:, :m:, Aerial Tag

    Have you, uh... Tested this? Because there's no way to get a tag to connect there, that I can tell, except the up tag, and this is pretty obvious from the positioning so anyone who knows this can hit :u::s: to stop your combo. I could be wrong though, I couldn't get it to work in other directions but I may just not be doing it right.

    Really though, if I want to just gain meter I do the standard bnb and just leave off the Legion Arrow at the end, really.

    :d::m: :d::h: :f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:s: |> :b::h: :s: sj.:m: j.:m: j.:h: j.:f::h: j.:m: j.:m: j.:s: |> :u:, (falling j.:qcf:[:h:]) or (:a1: j.:qcf:[:h:]) |> :s: sj.:s: falling j.:qcf:[:h:].
