There's a place in Asheville, I think just called Asheville Arcade. They've been slow to get up and running and only have vanilla SFII and MKII cabinets last time I checked, and the sticks on SFII were no where near working condition. I don't play MK and couldn't tell you how good it is. I'm worried they won't stay open too long if they don't get their machines working soon, and not just the ones I mentioned. Many games are in various states of disrepair and have been for weeks, despite them assuring me that everything would be in perfect working order soon.

No arcades to really speak of: Malibu and Big Cinemas(formerly Peachtree Cinema) in Norcross up till 2007 had decent fighting games but now they stay broke and there's not a scene for these places anymore.

Update to Arcade Odyssey, everyone in miami should come and support the place as they just opened up.
12045 sw 117th ave
Miami, fl 33186.
Has 6 xboxes w/ different fighters (ae 2012, umvc3 mostly) with asus v236h "evo" monitors all setup. Also plenty of big vizio 3dtvs along the walls for differet other games.
Arcade cabs to note: ssf4:ae, shmups including ikaruga, mushihimesama, trouble witches, has the original 6 player xmen beatem up. Guilty gear accent core, melty blood actress again, kof xiii, cyber troopers virtual on, pump it up nx, and other games i can't remember off the top of my head. The owner has a very nice library of games that he wishes to rotate around and he is very friendly with the old school gamers who appreciate classics.
It's new, all machines are in mint condition, super clean place and very nice environment overall. Please show your support!
