You can't ask for well-thought-out changes off day 1, week 1, or mostly even month 1 play...and that's when the game is out and everyone's in the lab.-Mike_ZEveryone (should) be mindful that if there isn't a new generation after my generation, the FGC (fighting game community) will basically become extinct, so it's important to think about the future.-Daigo Umehara

So what is the relationship with 8WR and SRK now? Is it a just a partnership or is it something more?
Jaxel, post: 5361663 wrote:
No relation... I'm just helping out. I write a LOT of mods for XenForo (the software SRK is now running), as you can see on 8WR.
The Portal, Events, Media, Wiki (yes, I even wrote my own wiki suite) and Chat sections of 8WR were all written by me.

For some reason, if a thread contains a YouTube vid, it only loads the content until the vid. The page looks like it's completely loaded though. Sometimes it loads properly if I keep hitting refresh.
There are actually quite a few posts after that on that page but that's the only one that loads for me. Notice how it says "1 more message" at the end of the post.
This is Firefox 4. Seems to work fine in IE.

I keep getting an "error in the java script console" when trying to post and I have to delete my temporary internet folder to be able to post again. Happens everytime i leave the site and come back. Happens in chrome and ie8.

How would I go about getting rid of email notifications for watched threads? I've searched through all the options but I couldn't find anything that actually turned the email notifications off. The only thing I can thing of right now that would work is unwatching the thread, but I would still like to be subscribed to the thread. I'm fine with alerts on SRK, but I'm not ok with having an email notification every single time someone replies to a thread

Does anyone have any insight into the BBCode (or whatev its called) issue.
Im wondering if the old system will be re-integrated or if we are to re-write our combo threads in keypad format.
Anyone have the inside track on this?

i don't see anything that's supposed to be "new" you mentioned. I just want a ridiculous EASY thing like in the old board where the topic title was simply bolded when a new post since my last return was made. as simple as that >_>

lol yes it is. I simply overlooked it. And THAT is exactly what is missing.

is gravatar not working yet or is it just me?

It may only be on my iPhone. But each post cascades farther and farther to the right until each line has only 1 letter on it like Cities' is doing. So it's unreadable. And I'm guessing it's the reason most pages won't load. Whatever. If someone could post this in the new site problems area. I would appreciate it. Since I can't seem to load it.

The issue of the white box with white text in the dark theme when clicking the reply box still persists:

Cannot select Create Events Thread without getting Error message. Not selecting it will create your event, but will not allow you to go back and edit to select that option.

Is that Recent activity box here to stay? Any chance it comes with a minimize option?
Jaxel, post: 5378532 wrote:
What error message?
If you're talking about the "Please enter a value of 100 characters or less" error, it means your thread title is too long! I have just added some error checking about 5 minutes ago so the event wont be created if the title is too long. The title INCLUDES the event date and location.

I even tried a word or two in the text field, but will try again. Thanks.
