So i have just orderd myself a Razer Atrox Arcade Stick for xbox one...
here is the template of the xbox one version of the atrox for convinience: http://razer-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/misc/razer_atrox_xbox_one_template.zip

I am looking for some Mortal Kombat X Arts for the stick... Preferably from the fighter Scorpion or the MKX Logo all in a dark tone.
If anybody could help me out would be awesome, i have never delt with this topic before and have no idea on what to do.

Just had the idea to make a stick revolving around my favorite movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm thinking of something along the lines of incorporating this where the joystick would go:

    hal_9000_wallpaper_by_browen2o.png

Then in the center of the red "eye" put a translucent red balltop from focusattack (assuming they come back in stock):

    RIelipzm.jpg

I want something sleek and black (almost like the monolith in the movie) for the stick design, but also something a little artsy but not cluttered. Anybody who's into the movie or artistic interested in making something for a TE2 template? I'm gonna start trying to put together some designs but I think this idea has some potential. I've never modded a stick before but I also think having the transparent red balltop glow with some LEDs would be sweet for a project like this.

The ball tops FA sells have to be drilled if you want to use LED. I mention that because it would look very cool (imho) with what you have planned.

Keep in mind these are just my ideas, but I would then go with sanwa smoke button rims: http://www.focusattack.com/sanwa-obsc-30mm-translucent-pushbutton-smoke/

replace the plunger with solid black: http://www.focusattack.com/sanwa-obsf-30mm-pushbuttons-black/

Dark UV backlighting near the buttons, black shaft cover.

then set it up so that the balltop is the eye hen looked down from directly above.

Just my $0.02 you may have something completely different in mind.

Here's what I mocked up so far: uX4ncDs.jpg

I'll probably have to find higher res source images to layer on as it looks like it'd be pretty blurry in its current state, but that's an idea.

I changed it afterwards to blue. I was trying to do her traditional blue and yellow, but it didn't quite work.

    http://www.picnations.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mortal-kombat-x-scorpion-game-wallpaper-characters-sub-zero-reptile-ermac-smoke-goro-playstation-4-xbox-one-xbox-360.jpg

I made a mockup to cover the stripped art from a stick I got from ebay. I saw some other dude use screencaps and his sticks look pretty nice, here's my twist on that idea. Bonus, Z1Wd2MC.jpg

Opinions? Trying to go an abstract route and have two mirrors of each other mocked up. I'm a little worried that on the black background one the little inky splatter outlines will look bad if printed (I'm not good at Photoshop and tried to select the inverse layer and swap colors, couldn't really easily get all the little splatter bits).

    jN9HH0q.jpg

    Leh0L8D.jpg

I wanted to line up HAL right on the joystick but not sure how much of the red should be visible beyond the stick cutout part. Hopefully it will still look balanced and cool when the buttons are cut out too because it kind of covers some of the vector designs.

Anyways, can you guys see anything that would be a problem when printed for a stick? Never modded a stick, if I get the art from Tek Innovations do I just peel out old art and place this one down? Do I need to use some form of glue? I could even make both designs and swap out heh. If I had a second stick it'd be a pretty sick duo. Which do you guys prefer visually?

edit: did some work on black one to try and clean some of the white ink splots and added some extra r's =P I think I like black one better now. I also tried this with more splatter on the right so there's a solid white background where the buttons would go which maybe make whatever color (can't decide on that either) stand out more. On original black one it's kinda at a weird black/white mix that makes button choices hard. What do you think of this compared to original black up top? Pdmocd3l.jpg

    Hi,

Anyone with a Venom fight stick want to try out this artwork.

I've tweaked the template a little what I received from Venom as the size was slightly off.
seems to be Xiondash's template I was sent. Thank you to Xiondash.

There are two versions. The ones labelled Circles have circles for the stick lights at the top. This makes it much easier to cut out.
Tip: When cutting out the circles, pop them using a sharp tool then use sandpaper on the reverse side to cleanly remove the pierced paper.

Thanks for the suggestion, @NENDO. I'll actually try the Tech Talk category if no one else objects, as the Stick Art and FightStick threads already appear there. In there, I'll not mention Plexworks.

Does anyone happen to have the stock Red Xbone TE2 art as a template they could send me or kknow where I could find it? I really like the look of the stock art but I want to change a few things (no button logos, only six buttons maybe add a chun-li pic here or there) etc.

I doubt you would be able to find it. Thats gonna trademarked by Mad Catz. I would do your best to create your own version of it. Its mainly just lines and blocks, nothing special
